    Andy came to my house to within an hour, in the midst of a major snowstorm, to help resolve an issue with a backflow preventer installed by another company. I thought I would be stuck without water for days and instead Andy resolved the issue almost immediately and gave clear explanations and helpful guidance on the issue.     This company lives up to the high rating on Google. Around 9pm I had a busted pipe in my basement, no hot water. A quick Google search later, I chose to call Baumbach’s based on the reviews. Andy picked up immediately and was over at our house within about 20 minutes. That’s amazing! He stopped the leak and was able to procure all the parts he needed in 1 business day (I called him the day before Memorial Day, so all stores were closed carrying what we needed). He had everything installed and hot water back on super quick. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and worked hard and efficiently. It’s one thing to do a job, it’s another thing to be super pleasant to work with. He was so considerate and really wanted to get our family’s hot water back on asap and he accomplished that.After he did great work on our house, I then asked him to work on another broken hot water heater/leak situation I had at my office. The issue at my office was over a month old, with trouble getting plumbers to even talk to me for a quote. Andy had it done the next morning after he finished my house - bought the new hot water heater and everything. A month old problem for other plumbers was fixed in less than a day with Andy. I found my new go - to, reliable plumber. Highly recommend.Thanks Andy!! You’re great!!

    Andy came to our rescue. We were on vacation in Italy and a sensor went off saying our basement was flooding. There was not much we could do thousands of miles away from home but Andy was there to help. We called him at 6 AM and he was at our shortly thereafter.. He shut off all the appropriate valves fixed the issue that was broken and saved our bacon. we are so thankful for his support. We will clearly rely on him for our future needs. Thank you Andy for being a lifesaver.

    Highly recommend Baumbach Plumbing & Remodeling Services. Had MAJOR water issue in Burke townhouse: pipe failed from house to outside water connection. Andy showed up immediately; assessed the situation; and had a solution. Required digging up the front yard and connecting pipes through the home. Andy arranged for a special boring machine. Disruption minimal. When work was done (including permit and county inspection), it was as if it never happened. Pristine work. Plants replanted. FIRST CLASS WORK from start to finish.

    Andy came over to do routine back flow testing and did the job quick but also warned us that he smelled gas. He investigated and did indeed find a leak. He promptly addressed the issue free of charge. I’m not thrilled at all with our homebuilder but I’m glad Andy came over when he did. He’s and easy 5 stars from me!

    Andy was very responsive when I called for a leaking garbage disposal. He arrived promptly and quickly diagnosed the problem.     Baumbach has been our plumber for over 20 years. He has fixed our small problems quickly, like leaky pipes or a broken faucet. He also handled our large jobs, like replumbing our entire house and remodeling two bathrooms. Baumbach is always professional, courteous, and provides quality work at a good price. When our house needed replumbing, he worked around our schedule and compressed the work into a few days when we were out of town.

    I have used Baumbachs services for 9 or 10 years for a variety of services. This includes installing a new water heater, installing a gas fireplace with ventless logs, installing all plumbing in a home addition, as well as other routine services. I recently had him install the new gas fireplace (in time for Christmas). I have no handyman skills or knowledge so I need someone I can trust. I trust Andy that he will do the job well and thoroughly. Andy Baumbach is reliable, communicates well, shows up when he says he will, and provides quality work.

    I have been using Baumbach Plumbing and Remodeling for years and am very satisfied with the level of service. Andy, the owner, and his team are quick, responsive, and very professional. In particular, my most recent experience with him demonstrates his exceptional level of service and dedication. On New Year’s Day, I discovered water on my condo floor – under the laminate, soaking the drywall – you get the dreadful picture. There was water on the HVAC closet floor. I called Baumbach’s in a panic and Andy was out – on a major holiday, mind you, and in the freezing cold – within 45 minutes. He assessed the situation, identified where the leak was coming from, and quickly proposed a solution. The leak was due to an incorrectly installed common use pipe, an emergency drain pipe, that catches any hot water heater overflow from the two units upstairs, and is supposed to drain to the outside. Since it was not installed correctly, it was frozen solid and, as a result, water could not evacuate out the pipe; it was gushing into my unit instead. He immediately examined the hot water heaters of the neighbors upstairs (their heaters were indeed malfunctioning), persuaded them both to let him fix their heaters, and the leak stopped. He saved my condo unit from any further total damage. I only have praise for Baumbach Plumbing and Remodeling and I highly, highly recommend Andy and his team of seasoned professionals.

    I have used Baumbach since Andy saved me during a rental property emergency 20 years ago. He has done jobs large and small for my home and rental properties. He knows what he is doing and the job is always right the first time. He is very responsive, and was even very helpful when I texted him on h is wedding day. Andy is not a cuddly fellow, and can come off as abrupt, but I enjoy working with him and know that he will make sure that my jobs are done correctly and safely.
