Eric and his crew were honest, upfront, and efficient while designing and completing our bathroom remodel. It was a project that was done out of necessity after a pipe froze under our upstairs shower when we lost power for 3 days in the heart of winter. Eric arrived to provide an estimate, assessed the situation, discussed options and was always available via text, phone call, or email during the decision making process. He was able to provide us an accurate start date, showing up each day he said they would be here, and completed the job in less than two weeks. There were a few touch up items and an additional backsplash that needed to be installed after the main body of work was done, the 802 flooring team responded without delay or additional cost to make sure we were happy. I highly recommend them.

I cannot say enough good things about 802 flooring. Four years ago Eric and crew installed tile on two bathroom floors and a shower. I had simple ideas around what I wanted. Eric and crew added creativity and precision to the jobs and those are now my favorite rooms in the house. There was a small issue with the tile work that was due to work done by another contractor. Eric without question, even though it was not his fault, showed up and fixed it. Because of the craftsmanship and professionalism, I reached out again to do some tile work in the kitchen. Once again it turned out better than I had imagined. I highly recommend 802 flooring. Check out their work!

Excellent work. Erics team knows what they are doing, and whether its tiles or hardwood planks, their work is of the highest quality. They are respectful, and clean and always willing to explain the work involved and the process, and when there were issues, alerting me right away, at which point Eric would work with me to arrive at an acceptable solution. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is for the (joyful) shouting in the house while working, between some of the employees.

We contracted Eric and his crew at 802 Flooring to renovate our kitchen and install hardwood floors throughout the downstairs of our house. The estimated completion date he gave us was exactly how long the project took, at 3 weeks. We could not be happier with the final product. The floors look amazing, and the kitchen cabinets and pantry his crew framed and sheet rocked look better than we could have expected. They were very professional throughout the whole time they were at our house, and we would definitely hire them again for any future projects.

After a terrible remodel, the poor workmanship reared its ugly head causing us to look for a contractor to remove and replace our main bathroom. As with many older homes we were reduced to a 1:4 bath until the main bath was finished. Having no time to plan a proper design and worrying that we would yet again choose the wrong person, we turned to our plumber to ask who locally is excellent at tile and showers. 802-Flooring was his first recommendation. From initial consultation to material ordering communication was clear and helpful. Upon demo we discovered some pretty shocking issues from the previous contractor and a 45 year old subfloor that was toast. Without hesitation the 802-Flooring crew jumped right in and removed the rotted floor and prepped the joists for new flooring. Everyday they were on time and put in a full day of work, stopping when they came to a logical place to pick up the next day. Every member of their crew was professional and courteous, listening to our feedback and needs. As with any home that isn’t a new build, things will come up that require special attention, they worked through every issue, adapting and suggesting solutions to keep the project moving forward. The main work was completed in 8 days and with meticulous attention to detail. Finishing touches due to supply chain issues took a few more days but they were in touch every step of the way, even working on Saturday when necessary to get us back into our bathroom. These guys are a gem to work with, and I’m a super picky customer. Get on their schedule, you won’t be disappointed!

I had Eric and crew from 802 Flooring in to remove old tile and replace with new. This was a reasonably small job (100 sq/ft) which as most know, can be nearly impossible to schedule anytime within 6 months since trade work is in such high demand these days. Eric was able to schedule me in between larger jobs no more than a few weeks after I first contacted him. Work was started and completed within 2 days. Not only was this on time, but the result is high quality. Prompt, high quality work, fantastic and easy communication, and everything came in just as in the original quote. I cant recommend 802 Flooring & Renovations highly enough. 5 stars gentlemen!

802 Flooring renovated our master bath after we developed an unspecified water leak resulting in a water remediation team tearing out our old shower during the height of build season, (sigh/catch breath) not stressful at all 😅. They demonstrated in depth knowledge of virtually anything we had a question about illuminating and alleviating our concerns. They found areas where our previous shower build was prone to failure, built poorly/“economically” and suggested how our shower could be built to last for decades. We will be calling on them again for the multiple planned home improvements and unplanned home repairs we will have. If you need someone to build something right, I would suggest you do the same. (Below I have added before and after photos, we went from wood tile and pan to slate tile and pebbles.)

What an awesome transformation! We had the 802 Flooring team out to our house for a few days last week and they took what was a unused, kind of gross area under our deck and turned it into a lovely spot for us to sit in the shade and watch our kiddo in the backyard. They worked with flagstone that we didnt realize were seconds (think REALLY small pieces) and made something lovely. There was a lot of on-the-job problem solving with the slope of our lawn and material choices but they walked us through it and helped us make the right decisions. Very happy with the end result! While looking for an affordable and qualified person to install tile in my apartment I was fortunate enough to find 802 Flooring LLC. The owner/ installer was punctual, very friendly and knowledgeable on flooring. He was able to fit me in his busy schedule and the work was fantastic. I highly recommend Eric for any tile work needed. UPDATE: Eric did such a great job with the tile I called for a recommendation for some miscellaneous contractor work. He was able to do it himself, and helped with a concrete slab for a lean too, a concrete pad for a fuel tank, a concrete patio, installing some siding, as well as building a set of wooden stairs for my deck. He is very talented and has a good group of guys that work for him. Update: I have had such great service I had them, 18 months later I had them return and install a back splash in my kitchen. It turned out fabulous. Still a top notch company.

Eric Couture of 802 Flooring was referred to me by a friend. I contacted him at the outset of remodeling the original kitchen in our house built in 1988. It was very dated and very worn out. He connected me with Daltile out of South Burlington to choose from a large showroom of floor tile and backsplash styles and colors. Eric was able to answer many questions to help us decide between wide plank laminate flooring and going with larger, 12 x 24 tiles. He provided a detailed estimate of materials and labor.During the demo, his staff was very careful to minimize the dust and noise of tearing out all of the old tile and two levels of subflooring. They also staged the work in a way so that our family of five could navigate entering/exiting the home and reaching our 2nd floor. They hauled away the debris so the work area was spotless for them to start the install.His staff were meticulous with ensuring the layout of the new tile. The perfect alignment of grout lines and transitions from one room to the next add a lot to the overall quality of the installation.Once we were done getting our new kitchen cabinets and countertop installed, they came back to install a relatively challenging style of backsplash and did an excellent job.Throughout they were kind, courteous, open to suggestions and patient with some of my novice install questions.I would highly recommend Eric and 802 Flooring. We will certainly use them again sometime in the future when we decide to finally get rid of the 1988 carpet in our upstairs bedrooms.

I struggled for months to find a contractor who would return my calls or even was willing to drive all the way up to Richford to take a look at the proposed job. Eric got back to me super quick after I reached out initially, scheduled a time to come up and take a look at my cabin and ideas, and we were in the materials and estimate phase in no time. The job was completed a week or so ago, and I couldn’t be happier. Eric took my vision and made it happen, choosing great flooring and brought in rough-cut lumber from a mill in Cambridge to match the interior for my sleeping loft walkway. They worked from the moment they arrived, until they left, kept me completely informed of where they were at and what to expect next, were tidy, and didn’t talk down to me like some contractors/men sometimes do to women. Eric and team also made my idea for extending my upper spiral staircase platform happen, which wasn’t easy. The guys were also super kind to my dogs hanging around in the yard with them when I was busy taking meetings, which is a huge bonus - thank you again, and Chloe still misses her boys! I can’t say enough thanks and send enough praise, love the renovations - thank you Eric, Dominic and Jonah!

This crew did a wonderful job completely gutting and remodeling out bathroom. It was one of the oldest, and my least favorite, room in the house. The wood panels were stripped down and our old tub ripped out. A beautiful tiles shower was installed. New walls and floors were put in and some fixes we didnt know were needed were repaired. Eric is a great communicator and helped this process go along smoothly. I would highly recommend for a good, no BS experience.

By word of mouth through a friend 802 Flooring came highly recommended to save us. We were in need of help as we had a large5 x 4 newly built shower, with partial work done by someone else which was not correct. Eric and his crew were professional, extremely knowledgeable, clean, clear with communication with how things would and when they would be done. It was the most reassuring experience with a builder knowing that we were in THE BEST of hands with the 802 Flooring team. The bonus of all of this expertise was that the outcome of the newly tiled shower looks amazing. We are so thankful and will continue to share praises to anyone in need of their workmanship.

After flood damage, we needed the carpet reinstalled in a couple rooms in our basement. Eric came over quickly, checked the situation out, and by the weekend our carpet was back in place. They were friendly and professional the entire time. They walked us through their repairs to make sure we were happy (which we were) and Id highly recommend them.

Being from out of state and not familiar with local craftsmen, I was looking for a company to install vinyl plank flooring throughout the house as well installing a walk-in shower. After many failed attempts of no-shows or no interest, I happened to find 802 Flooring online and was immediately interested based on before and after pictures of numerous recent jobs they had completed. I decided to contact Eric to see if he was interested in taking on these projects. Fortunately for us, he was!Eric showed up for the initial consultation and provided a detailed quote. Given that we live 4.5 hours from the property (daughter’s house), much of the project details and coordination was handled via phone calls, emails or texts. In all cases, Eric was extremely responsive. Since the house had only 1 bathroom we decided that it was best to separate the jobs into two. The vinyl plank flooring was installed first and within 2.5 days the house had beautiful new floors throughout. The crew at 802 Flooring were friendly, very respectful and did great work, leaving the house clean at the end of every workday. Eric was always on-site working with his crew and there to answer any questions we had. After seeing how good the floors came out, we were excited to continue with the shower.We originally wanted to replace the bathroom tub with a walk-in shower. Given the age of the house, we decided that it made sense to demolish the entire bathroom, bringing it down to the studs and completely rebuilding it. When we brought this request to Eric he readjusted the quotation quickly and worked with us on all of the new details and making his own recommendations to help bring our vision to life. Since we would be without a shower for a few weeks, Eric made sure that the bathroom was still functional at the end of every day which allowed us to stay in the house during the remodel. In just under 2 weeks, 802 Flooring transformed a 1970’s bathroom into a modern bathroom that we are thrilled with.We are looking forward to continuing our relationship with Eric and 802 Flooring and have already begun discussing our next potential project (kitchen remodel). We had to make some last minute changes to our plan and Eric was great at showing us what our options were, and even helped out because we were running up against project budget issues! Amazing local Vermont company!! My husband and and I hired Eric and his team to replace flooring throughout our entire house, replace all window/door/floor trim, and replace our slider door. The work they did came out beautiful and they were quick and efficient. Eric is always quick to respond, very knowledgeable and fair, on time and flexible. His entire team was a delight to work with and we will absolutely be calling them again for our next project!
