If you are looking for an affordable, honest, and amazing HVAC company, look no further than My Guy. They were the first to come out and give us a quote on a new furnace, AC unit, and all new ducts in the attic. Victor was fast, efficient, and COVID safe. Because I like to be diligent, I proceeded to get 4 other quotes. And I kid you not, three out of the four told me something different about the way it would work. All three tried to upsell us or overcharge us on expensive systems that we didnt need. Victors quote at My Guy was the cheapest and felt like the most honest. He was there to answer all my questions for two weeks up to when they actually installed the equipment.Installation was a breeze. Victor and Andres came out to my property and finished the job in 2 days! They included a nice upgraded thermostat, replaced all of my registers at no extra cost, and even fixed a ventilating issue that was not their job to fix (thank you!). They were courteous to us all working and virtual learning from home. They were even patient and friendly to my overly affectionate and excitable dog.At the end, Victor walked us through everything. Gave us a tutorial about the thermostat and helped us understand our systems. These guys are experts and professionals. Long story short, hire them. You and your wallet will not be disappointed!

Elvis at my My Guy Heating and Air was the best technician for any company that I have ever had come to my house. Will be recommending him and My Guy Heating and Air to all my neighbors.My HVAC system has been having numerous issues. I called My Guy Heating and Air and they worked with my schedule to get someone out to my house the next day. Elvis was the technician sent to help. Elvis was extremely knowledgeable and fixed multiple issues within the hour. Elvis answered all of my questions and was very respectful of my house in making sure he kept it clean. After Elvis fixed my system he even took the time to fully go over everything with me so I understood how my system worked and how to maintain it better for the future. After one company came out and failed miserably at repairing my air conditioning issue, My Guy sent CJ who was extremely professional and knowledgeable. 150% fantastic customer service and a professional accurate job. The old system couldnt be saved My guy sent Alex and Storm out to put in the new system. Again 150% fantastic customer service and a 10 star rating on their installation skills. They thoroughly explained the original problem and how the previous company failed. The owner Caleb stopped by too! I recommend them if you want fast reliable service from a great group of people that work together to make the customer happy.

Very knowledgeable and pricing was comparable to other companies. We had previous problems with a different company via our home warranty. I called My Guy and the front desk personal were very nice. They sent over Brian, who discovered several issues and was very thorough; he was here for several hours and emailed me his documentation/photos afterwards. Gave us several options and we opted for a new furnace. Install was smooth and the techs were nice and handled everything with care. We did have an issue with a new furnace that was installed; Brian was here very quickly and fixed the problem quickly, free of charge (was a manufacturer part problem, nothing that the My Guy techs did)! Brian is very nice and knows his craft well! They offer a great service warranty with their installs!

Great experience!! Brian inspected and serviced our air-conditioner, he took pictures in the attic to show us the ducts and issues that had to be replaced, cleaned, or serviced. As soon as he commenced troubleshooting it became clear that he knew is business! He talked me through the troubleshooting and to the eventual repair quickly and professionally. So far so good! I signed up with My Guy for their $99 program, which includes an A/C tune-up as well as a heater tune-up when it gets cold. In addition, there is 15% off any needed parts or repairs if you maintain your membership. Carrie was very helpful in setting the appointment, and Donavan and Brian were very thorough and professional in their duties and diagnosis. I would definitely recommend this company!

While looking for an annual maintenance service for our heating/cooling unit, I stumbled across My Guy & their amazing reviews. I contacted them the same day & was able to make an appointment for a little over a week out - on a Saturday, no less! They gave a window & advised that wed receive a call from the tech prior to their arrival. Plus, their membership is only $99 a year for two visits - you really cant beat it.Thankfully, it wasnt all too good to be true. CJ was our technician and, as promised, he called us about 20 minutes prior to arriving. He was friendly, efficient, thorough, & made sure to answer all of our questions about our unit. Thanks to CJ, our unit is running properly & way more efficiently than it was.I would not hesitate to refer My Guy for any of your heating/cooling needs - they are honest, customer service oriented, & deliver quality service!

100% recommend this for any heating or AC issues. Finally, a company who really looks after their customers. They have at least two of the best service tech in all of San Diego county. CJ and Gerrard (hopefully spelled correctly) really made sure everything was running again and kept the cost down. That really means a lot when you have an unexpected bill. Have to say the office staff was impressive as well. Was able to get my appointment sooner and that mattered when I didnt have any heat this winter. I will definitely use MY GUY Heating and Air again for any repairs. In the meantime, they will be out regularly for scheduled maintenance. Great job! You earned a life long customer. Above and beyond! We heard about My Guy on the radio, KPRZ1210AM on their Saturday morning program, and were impressed by their friendly tone and great offer. Their service was even better! Donavan and his assistant Frank were very knowledgeable, friendly and did a terrific job in all the details of installation and repair. Afterward they explained everything to us in a clear way and provided a great plan for maintenance moving forward. The team is very professional, from the front office to the techs who install and do repair. They do a great job . If there is ever any problem they are on top of it and easy to contact . If youre looking for a/c service, look no further! My Guy is one of the companies I contacted after I saw all the amazing reviews and I was not disappointed. First and foremost, the customer service is what stands out the most. I am glad they were able to make it out on a Saturday at no additional cost. They make sure to give you a courtesy phone call and e-mail the day before your scheduled appointment. Then, the technician also calls to give you a more exact ETA on the day of.Our technician CJ was very knowledgeable and took his time to explain and educate us on everything he was doing. Right when we explained our problem to him upon his arrival, he already had a diagnosis. He not only fixed what was wrong with the a/c unit, but also gave us options on how to prolong the life of our a/c. At no time did we feel pressured at all to upgrade/replace anything, but we did since we trusted CJs expertise in the field. The whole process took only about an hour. We tacked on the $99 membership fee for bi-annual service on our heating and air since its a great deal for preventive maintenance and since we had such a good initial experience. CJ was also great about our very affectionate dog following along with us on the job.Overall, my husband and I were very satisfied with the service My Guy performed for us and are happy we found our go-to company for future jobs.

This company was very responsive to all my questions and were accommodating. I needed my furnace repaired and originally contacted a big name company with all the tv commercials and they showed up and diagnosed my issue (inaccurately) and left me hanging without responding to my calls . When I called My Guy, they came out right away and didnt charge me for a second opinion. They provided an accurate diagnosis of the issue that I was having. The tech gave me all my options and even stuck around to heat my house on the coldest evening in winter. He ordered the parts needed and returned relatively quickly to repair. I love these guys. Before I gave them the job to replace both heating and air condition system, I interviewed and received quotes from several other companies. I listened to their presentation and recommendations. Caleb was the only one to do a thorough review of my current system before making recommendations. Nevertheless, I researched all companies products before making a decision. Once again, My Guy, Caleb gave the most honest answers. There were a few small hiccups with the installation but Caleb and CJ were on it immediately and had it resolved quickly. Yes. My Guy is a terrific company. In the middle of a long heat wave, I was able to get a next day appointment. (Thanks to Carrie and a cancellation) Brian came on time the next morning. He got to work right away and the first thing he did was turn on the A/C. Would you believe it…the A/C started working… cold air & all??? I had tried to restart it several times over the last few days and only warm air came out every time!!! I was afraid Brian was going to say it was working fine, give me a bill for the service call, then leave…but, thank goodness, he did not. He found the problem in less than 10 minutes and showed me the parts. One was melted and both were covered in oil. I knew the 30+ yr old system needed to be replaced but I could not afford it. Brian was very understanding and never tried to pressure me into buying a new unit. Instead, he gave my old A/C unit CPR and put it on Life Support with the hopes that it will make it thru the summer. All things considered, the bill was very reasonable. I will definitely be using Brian & My Guy in the future.

So happy with the service I received! My AC stopped working in the early morning and I called them at 8am. They were able to get someone out the same day to take a look. This was in the middle of a heatwave and I know their service was in high demand. I received a confirmation e-mail of my scheduled appointment time, a phone call when the technician was on his way, as well as an e-mail of the technicians photo.When the technician, Donavan, arrived he was extremely professional and polite. Within minutes he had the problem narrowed down and provided me with an estimate of what was needed to be done now, what was recommended to be done now, and what would be recommended for the near future.Donavan was also prepared to provide paperwork on new units and had a list of neighbors names and phone numbers as references for their work. Talk about a step above!I also received an electronic receipt at the end of his work. I understand that not all businesses can afford to have this technology available, but it is so helpful and appreciated when they do! C.J. Just came out today for our free once a year HVAC checkup. It came with the new HVAC we purchased for our 1600 sq. foot one story home in R.B. I think we get 2 years of free 2 times per year inspections? We purchased our new HVAC from My Guy in spring 2017 and we did not go for the bottom of the line unit because we wanted a long lasting, well working system and we didnt want to cheat ourselves by going for the low option. We thought we paid a lot for the system, but as it turns out, had we gone with one of the companies that we see advertising on TV all of the time, we would have paid about 5K to 10K more than with My Guy! Crazy how much these things cost! So we bit the bullet and purchased the better system and we have been super happy with the system, heater & A.C. and My Guy. They are quick, clean, courteous, honest. Genuinely nice guys to have come in to your home. They always wear booties without having to be told to. Clean, meticulously groomed and professional. They are a smaller, family run business by Caleb and his wife who is in the office and sets up and confirms the appointments. She is more all business on the phone. We didnt feel ripped off. We felt we received a great product for what we paid, great follow up and especially liked C.J. because he showed up when he said he would. He didnt keep us waiting. He was super informative about the system and the best way for us to use it. We didnt feel like we had a bunch of strangers and gawkers in our house. I felt comfortable and safe as a female. Some times repair guys have come into our home, and I just dont get that safe feeling. When you use My Guy, you bring quality people in to your safe zone of a home and you dont feel bad after they leave.

Call me impressed! Brian Armstrong gave me a call letting me know he was on his way. Thats very important. Some guys at other companies say they will do it, and then never do. Thankfully, Brian did! The office even called before hand too to let me know the status. Brian knew his stuff, diagnosed are cooling issue almost instantly, explained everything in detail, was courteous, and friendly. He recommended some preventative stuff and wasnt pushy about it at all. Just suggested that might want to do it given the age of our unit, what the benefits would be, and how much it would cost. It was a no brainer though, we did it. Even before he showed up, the office staff was awesome too. Great communication on their part. They gave me a couple hour window in which I would need to be home. Thankfully, no waiting all day. They sent me a couple reminders too. All in all, very professional company. Just had the pleasure of doing business with My Guy Heating and Air. My AC stopped working because I attempted to replace my old, battery operated thermostat with a new WiFi thermostat, but I couldnt get it to work.Tried putting the old one back on and when I turned the power back on, only the blower would run non-stop and the 3 amp fuse would blow. Oops!I called around to about 12 different HVAC companies and solo outfits, some never returned my phone call and others offered me service appointments two weeks later!So, I called My Guy Heating and Air. Left a voicemail and a few hours later I actually got a call back! Kay was able to setup an appointment within four days, due to the heat wave, they were booked solid and that was the best she could do. So, I took it!What followed was amazing! I received several email updated about my pending appointment. The day before, Kay called to confirm my appointment date and time.The day of the appointment I receive another email update and then the service technician, Jared, called when he was about 30 mins away.Then Jared shows up promptly at my door. Hes got his ladder, uniform and booties to put over his shoes and hes ready to start fixing my AC! Jared laid down a blanket under the ladder, to catch any debris falling from the attic access.Jared was shocked to find a veritable rats nest of HVAC wires and cabling from previous HVAC technicians and apparently they did a really, really shoddy job of cabling the new furnace we had installed in 2018.So, after about an hour and a half up in the sweltering attic, Jared cleaned up their mess and now all of the wiring and nice and neat and easier to work with in the future. Jared then proceeded to wire up my new WiFi thermostat and low and behold, it actually turned on and started working!!! Jared set it to heating mode and made sure the furnace was firing up. Then changed it to cool mode and it turned on the compressor and started blowing cool, refreshing air!I was just so impressed with My Guy Heating and Air. Specifically with Jareds professional work ethic and how much pride he takes in his work! He is simply the best!Stop reading this review and just call My Guy Heating and Air and setup your appointment already! :-)

Each company that came out wasnt here for say 20 min and came in a d told the wife and I we need to buy a new system. They didnt try to over sell me on any equipment They didnt try to pressure me into buying any extra equipment that I didnt need. They didnt even try to sell me a brand new heating and AC system like every other company thats been out of my house has done within the 1st 15 or 20 minutes they were here looking at the system.I would recommend My Guys Heating and Air to anyone needing service on their heater or A/C Or both. Donovan came to the house was very professional clean and courteous and above all was upfront took the whole system apart cleaned it inside and out and then came to me when he was all done with his recommendations. He advised me which services that I could get done if I didnt wanna do the whole package which ones were more important to get done but I took a look at everything that he wrote down And after having this system for 22 years decided that I would get all the repairs done that was needed on this system because of the fact that he told me if I did that I could increase the life of the system for another 10 to 15 years . Donovan was one of the best service technicians I have ever had out to my house and Im letting everyone know if you need service on your heating and AC call my guys heating and air and no other company in this county, cause im not. I signed up for a 2 year agreement and theyre going to be the only company that comes out and operates and checks my system. Had our first maintenance check up on the system. I highly reccomend buying their tune up package, free tune ups and big discount on any additional parts needed to buy. Any way, one again my guy scores big. Donovan came out to do the service and noticed the unit outside with the fan was making a funny sound, with a little trouble shooting he adjusted the fan blade down the shaft more, turned it back on and wha la more air was blowing up from the unit than before. Did the tune up and paid zero dollars. Highly reccomend their pkg for maintennance. This company is by far better than andersen, asi, and any of the other heating and air companys. I am mot being paid from this company at all to review them so high this is me a regular guy letting the public know there is a company out there that will mot rip you off. When you have a problem and are not on the schedule carry ann will do everything to get you taken care of. Ny guy heating and air allows you to feel comfortable and not stressed. 4 companys came in to service our heater and all 4 said its going out, even though we only used it once during the winter. Not my guy. He cleaned it and said we r good. We r monitoring the secondary pressure switch but we dont have to buy a new heater. We found a dead gecko near the switch and it was pitted and likely to fuse. So again the part was a bit over $200. No service fee. Rare to see a perfect score.

The office staff is professional and you can see that flow to the techs. I have horrific allergies and will be testing out the allergy filtration system. Will leave a review when I do. I was referred to My Guy from my real estate agent Pete Casperson who I trust implicitly for good local companies for home improvement needs. He gave me Caleb’s info, the owner of My Guy and Caleb came out to give us an estimate to upgrade our AC/Furnace, replace all our duct work and re-locate our units upstairs. Caleb was great, very easy to talk to and offered me a competitive price. I was not looking for the cheapest but I was also not looking to pay a premium price for this big project. I found My Guy to come in with a fair price for top end equipment. When it came time for install our head installer Storm was punctual and great to work with. He explained the process all the way along and kept our home clean during the process which was important to us. After the work was complete, we had Storm come out to do some minor adjustments and he was again very punctual and made our needs a priority. I think that some companies have a big sense of urgency at the time of install but the service levels fall off big time if you need follow up serve. It has only been a week but I have already referred out My Guy to a neighbor and plan to refer them to anyone in need of their services.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Top notch customer service from start to finish. Fair pricing and reliable. Brian our tech did a fantastic job with the diagnosis of our furnace problem. He tried to keep it running for a few more months but in the end we decided on a whole new system as ours was 16 years old and more repairs down the road would be needed. He presented all options and costs in a very professional manner, and it was easy to make a decision knowing all the facts. The installers, Ramiro( and the other 2 gentlemen I did not get names, sorry) arrived on time and were very respectful of our home. They worked efficiently and had the new system up and running in about 5 hours. Dealing with customers myself, I really appreciated every facet of a job well done. I had just had my AC tuned up the month before, but it stopped working. There was air blowing, but not cold air. I used My Guy Heating and Air rather than the company that did the tune up because of my schedule and the need for a service appointment ASAP. Brian Armstrong was my technician and he was timely, kind and very informative. The service that was needed for my AC unit should have been caught by the prior company, but was not. They didnt clean the unit or provide a screen. My Guy Heating and Air will do that all and more for about the same price. He educated me for the future and I feel much more secure with their service than any prior company. The office is also very pleasant to work with.
