    My first time using Excel Services. I hired them to diagnose a heater that was not working. I was able to get a next day appointment. The service tech, Christian, arrived promptly, even a few minutes early, which was appreciated. After briefing him on the issue, he got to work. He located the problem (control board) and I approved the repair.Christian was able to locate a replacement part, and performed the repair. He also serviced the filters and screens. All of this was accomplished in under two hours. The system is working properly now.As for price and value, I have nothing to compare it against as Excel was the first company to come out. I did find the cost reasonable and am happy that my elderly Moms house has heat once again.I appreciated Christians promptness and professionalism. He is polite, knows his trade, is personable, and made the experience easy to follow step by step.I would not hesitate to hire Excel again for any future needs, and I would certainly request Christian as my service tech. Highly recommended.

    My grandmother called Excel services and Christian was her service expert that came out to help her. My grandma said he was so helpful and fully explained everything he was fixing.     I had a seasonal maintenance performed today and the service was excellent. The service technician, Chuck Leonard, was on time and very professional.He completed a through system check, explaining each step as he went along, and suggested some hints to improve the performance of my system. He is very knowledgeable and I will definitely request him for my next service appointment. I completely recommend Excel Air Corporation .

    We had our regular scheduled semi-annual maintenance done today, and our service technician, Chuck Leonard, was an absolute professional from beginning to end and was a breath of fresh great customer service air! He explained what all was needed and would be done during this visit, and let me know the status of my system and made the necessary tweaks to make sure everything was running at optimum efficiency. I very much appreciated his friendly and polite attitude and he was a pleasure to work with. We will definitely ask for him to come out to service our equipment for any maintenance or repair in the future. Thank you! :)

    Excel Air has been taking care of our home for many, many years. We have ALWAYS had over-the-top treatment. All the people from the office staff, to the repairmen, are incredible.     This company has exceeded my expectations. They replaced a burned out furnace in my older doublewide mobile last January. They couldn’t have done anything better with the installation! They were wonderful. Yesterday there was unusually hard rain and wind and a little bit of water was leaking from around or under the flashing on the roof where the heater vent sticks up. We don’t usually get wind and rain that hard, but I called them yesterday and told them there was a leak. They sent someone out this morning! Thank you Tony for being so experienced and conscientious about the repair.Everyone I have dealt with at Excel is kind and attentive. Thank you.

    I recently had my summer tune-up for my furnace and AC unit performed by Excel Air. I really like this company. Everyone I spoke with was very professional and friendly and they are always able to send someone out very quickly. Steven Medina came out to inspect and perform some maintenance on my system. He was very knowledgeable and took the extra time to explain the work he performed and he gave me some excellent advice on how to maintain my system and keep it running at optimal performance. Ill will be using this company again for my next tune-up.

    Scheduling the appointment was quick and easy and Chuck, the technician, showed up fully masked and very respectful. Throughout the inspection and maintenance service he was friendly and thorough. I particularly liked that he went the extra mile and taped up all the leaks in the metal ducting to improve efficiency. He also explained all the details of what the service included and answered all my questions about the health of my system including some insights about efficiency and regulation of the fan motor. All things considered, the service was everything I could have expected.

    These guys are great. They are efficient and thorough. My house did not have existing AC and it would get to 92 degrees inside my house. After they came and installed the Daikin unit, my house is sitting pretty at 75 degrees.They are considerate of your home. They put on the little booties on their shoes as to not dirty your floors. They ask questions/permission before doing anything that would be invasive in the home. Any concerns I had they immediately addressed.I am completely satisfied with choosing Excel Air as my HVAC experts.

    Chuck Leonard was very honest and didnt try to upsell me when doing the maintenance on my almost 10 year old system. He went over everything he was doing and the result of his inspection. We were able to get the appointment scheduled the next morning and I was given a call 30 minutes ahead of the serviceman, Leos arrival. He arrived and checked everything, which I greatly appreciated since I now live in Utah and not San Diego. The entire transaction went very smoothly.

    This is the best company to have your furnace replaced. We had several bids and when it came down to which company offered the most honest & most reasonable work and price, ExelAir was far and away the winner.     We have been using Excelair for over 6 years now. We purchase a 3 year maintenance contract in which they come out every 6 months and give the entire HVAC system a thorough check. Over the years weve had a number the technicians do the work. I have an engineering back ground and I watch them work. All have been thorough and honest. Today we had Steven Medina do the inspection. He was particularly detailed and capable. We are very happy with their services. Our system is 19 years old and we will contract with Excelair to install replacement equipment when the time comes. They have exceeded our expectations.

    Richard, Oscar, and Kendra have been beyond the way professionals should be. I dealt with each of these individuals on different aspects or stages of my HVAC needs, and each person made the experience as seamless and easy as possible. Unlike the 4 other HVAC contractors that I tried contacting during one of the worst Heat Waves of all time, Kendra or Oscar answered my phone calls 24/7 instead of an answering machine like the others. 3 of the others tool up to 3 days to return my calls, and 1 I still havent heard back from. Richard jumped through hoops to come out and figure out my issue with a 5 hour notice, and 2 other contractors couldnt figure out. Excel saved the day.

    Professional, honest and knowledgeable. Our a/c stopped and we thought we needed a capacitor or something, hoping our antique unit wasnt shot. Travis came out and checked everything only to find a pincher bug under the contactor. He removed it and everything worked again. He only charge us the initial inspection fee which was alsi reasonable, and would have been applied to repairs if we had needed any. Great guy!

    Finally decided to get A/C. Alex explained all the options available and answered all our questions. Robbie and crew were timely, kept me informed of their progress, and kept the overall work area clean of debris. New unit cools my 2100 sq ft house quickly. Only concern is with noise from vent adjacent to the main unit which is the room we spend the most time in. Also like the smaller condenser installed in side yard. UPDATE: Richard came out and improved the noise issue! Thanks Excelair!

    It is a pleasure doing business with PROFESSIONALS. From the moment the staff member Roxanne) answered the phone to the time I said goodbye to the Technician (Lucas) the experience was pleasant and you could tell that EVERYONE knew how to listen to the problem and how to prepare to fix the problem.Lucas was respectful of the premises making certain that he did not dirty anything in the house. He was also knowledgeable and informative. He took pictures of the problem and took the time to thoroughly go over every issue and explain how it would be repaired.They came on a Friday and did the repairs the following Monday. We called them in for a 2nd opinion (which they provided free of charge) and they repaired the problem for 10% of the first companys quote.They will do all of our HVAC work in the future.

    Such a great company from the sales representative to installation crew. Then the office staff coordinating service and the field technicians! The office staff have been so accommodating and punctual with scheduling our routine tune ups. The technicians that have come to my home have been so friendly to my family and animals!     My experience with Excel Services has renewed my faith in home service providers and contractors. I was extremely impressed by their professionalism and knowledge of HVAC systems. Alex, one of the company principles, spent all the time necessary to explain options, system advantages, tradeoffs and all other buying and selection issues. His attention to detail and engineering background gave me confidence in his HVAC solutions. His genuine concern for the customer was apparent in all my interactions with him.I rarely provide feedback on services since experiences are subjective. However, in my opinion, Alex and his team will always provide excellent service for any HVAC requirements.

    Excel Air came to our home mid July to remove our AC unit (so a contractor could come in and do repairs from a leak we had). Long story short, lots of problems with the other companies we had to work with. Our contractor sub-contracted a company to repair and re-install the AC. They did a horrible job. When they were done, they told me not to use the AC as it still was not working well. Never hear from them again.I called Excel and they came out right away. Jason sent in a quote to the insurance that day. As soon as it was approved, he and his team were on it to get us back up and running. Juan showed up with another Excel employee and they spent 8.5 hours here going through everything to do with the AC with a fine-tooth comb. Juan would show me things he found. It turns out that the sub-contractors re-installed the AC until wrong and using a lot of things that were not up to code. The previous company used parts that didnt fit and taped them together. I dont understand the workings of AC, but Juan let us know that we were lucky not to turn it on. If we had, and we had gone into the garage, we could have died!! So Juan, and Excel Air saved our lives. Literally! They all deserve medals!This group is incredible. Jason, the manager, is professional and responsive to calls. Juan is one of the most incredible workman we have ever had at our home. Cannot thank this group enough! We will be using them for all our HVAC needs.

    Adrian was very friendly and knowledgeable. He repaired my system and also enclosed the holes in the outside compressor to keep the rats from getting to the wires again. Saved me a lot of time

We were very happy and impressed with this company then and even more so now.We had a routine maintenance service done today by their technician Victor.     Miguel and his partner arrived on time, were very focused, performed the installation efficiently, cleaned up completely, and were very pleasant and respectful. We hired this company 4 years ago to install a Lennox AC unit. It was a no-brainer to hire them again. All good results, well worth the investment.

    Weve used Excel several times and finally signed up for a maintenance contract. The timing was good because the day before the tech arrived our A/C blower started making a terrible noise. The tech arrived on time and the companys communications were excellent in providing reminders and updates. The tech diagnosed the issue as a blown heater fan/bearing. We decided to replace the whole unit. When the work was done they team went the extra mile to make sure everything was done professionally and to our satisfaction. We had an issue with the install, but Excel came back the next day to resolve and get the system up and running. We would recommend Excel for overall HVAC work.
