I recently had my central A/C unit replaced by Ellington Air and Heat. I am happy to report that they are one of the most professional service companies that I have had the pleasure of dealing with in Brevard County. All of their staff members that I dealt with were knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Our A/C unit was install in record time and they performed a clean installation; cleaning up the entire work area and left everything in immaculate conditions. We had one issue with a heating element that was not in our unit at the time of installation to a supply chain issue. They sent one of their employees to a neighboring city to pick up and immediately came over to install the heating strip upon arrival. They reacted almost immediately to our concerns to our complete satisfaction. I highly recommend Ellington Air and Heat.

Customer service is awesome. I had an ac checkup yesterday and Thomas Dunaj was helpful in answering questions, sealing some areas and laying pebble rocks around the new pad and checking things out making sure everything is charging correctly. We love our new ac. For once, I am not afraid of calling an ac company! Our last ac company was horrible and very rude to me, both on the phone and in person. THANK YOU ELLINGTON FOR BEING A TRULY WONDERFUL COMPANY TO WORK WITH!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

What an exceptional company!!! We just had Ellington install a brand new HVAC system (inside and out), a mini-split and a duct cleaning. I am beyond impressed with the professionalism, kindness and attention to detail from EVERY SINGLE employee that walked into our home. It’s hot in Florida. So, we have an annual maintenance plan with Ellington. Every 6 months they come out and do a check up. This week was our time, and we were scheduled for a tech to be here between 8-12. At 12, and no tech, I called. In a couple of minutes the tech was getting in touch and let us know he was running late. When he got here I found out it was because he was helping others get their AC running.When here, he was friendly, helpful, and took the time to show me a drainage issue on the unit. It was a great experience.

Ellington did a fantastic job on the install! 5 star installation by a great team! Ryan did a great evaluation on what I had and what I needed and set me up with several proposals. Danny came over and went even more in depth with options as he was very knowledgeable. Jonaton taught me about a secondary UV light to go up above the condenser coils to aid in the reduction of mold growth and him and Tyler worked very hard at getting the air handler into a tiny closet that it really didn’t fit in! Josh helped explain some things with the outside unit that were helpful! Great job by all! Would definitely go with them again.

From start to finish all of Ellingtons staff has been amazing! Corey (Field Manager) initially came to assess why our old unit was not working, we knew that we were living on borrowed time. Our unit was very old. Once we discussed the need for a new unit he walked us through all of our options with no pressure salesmanship. Once we made the decision to get a new unit he made time to come back to our home and talk with us again and guide us through the next steps of the process. After that was set, we had 2 of Ellingtons awesome installers- Deonte and Josmar (and I believe one other gentleman) start the install of our new unit. They were all great! from start to finish they were kind, polite, respectful, knowledgeable. Then again today we had Deonte and Tyler come for the final touches of cleaning the ducts. And again they were just the most respectful and professional installers ever! Tyler made sure that the work that was done yesterday was up to par and the duct work that was being cleaned today was and proficient as could be. They worked so well. I know that we needed a new AC unit and Ellington air walked us through the whole process professional and flawlessly, I am SO glad that we went with Ellington and my husband and I would recommend them to anyone. We had heard about Ellington. Other people we know say they are great. After getting shafted by another a/c company, we called them. Their response was unbelievable. They are way, way above other companies we have used - just in total quality and response time and courteousness.First of all, we fully believe the other a/c company sabotaged our old unit during routine maintenance to force us to purchase a new air handler (little did they know we had already decided to purchase new). In the end they lost a big sale due to their foolishness. We had been seeing bad comments about their methods but we already had a unit installed by them so we continued to use them (until now).After our unit was sabotaged (we believe the routine maintenance guy released the freon) and left about 4pm, our house got hotter and hotter. We decided then and there to not use that company again and went online to Ellington (excellent website, by the way). They prioritized us due to our home not cooling and the next day they brought us a portable a/c to keep us cool while we waited for the install next day.The other a/c company we had for years had never offered us a free portable a/c unit even when our air was not working!The workers went over and above to install the air handler. We have a very small closet it goes in, and they took the unit frame apart so they wouldnt have to destroy our trim and drywall to get the unit installed. That caused a lot more work for them and a lot less repair for us. WOW.Plus, Ellingtons annual maintenance program costs less than the other company. Sweet!When the new unit wasnt cooling as quickly as the old one, they were very fast to respond and had us back to normal with a fan adjustment inside the air handler.Were happy, and cool. :)

Blake did not try to sell us a new unit...he gave us every opportunity to have our current ac unit repaired before we finally decided to purchase a new unit since ours is 12 years old. When Owen arrived, he made sure that we were confident that we wanted to purchase a new unit instead of repairing our existing unit. That spoke volumes to us. Ellington should be proud to have these two men working for them as they are an example of how a company should be ran. Kudos to both of them!!

I left a previous review with a lower score because I was frustrated that the company didnt keep me informed while waiting for the ordered parts to arrive. They had told me 5 to 7 businesses days, but I assumed that was worst case and the parts would arrive sooner. In my defense, I was trying to survive in a house where the temperature varied between 88 and 92 degrees. The parts arrived the afternoon on the 7th businesses day (which was on the 11th day for me, due to the weekend). Ellington called me as soon as the parts arrived and scheduled a technician for the following morning. He arrived on time, spent well over 2 hours in the hot sun/high humidity fixing my outside unit, and waited until he was certain the A/C was cooling properly before leaving. I was very impressed.

He made it clear the installation is as important as the unit itself and that their technicians are properly trained and would do it right.Josh and Eddie did a very professional looking installation.I was asked several times if I had questions or if I would like something changed. I had a couple of minor requests and they were addressed completely and stress free. They were friendly and courteous.When they finished the installation they made sure everything was working normally. Before they left they cleaned up the garage and back yard. The technician arrived at 08:00am, and had the knowledge and bearing of a sharp Tech or Master Sergeant in the Air Force, my life and career standard for evaluating others. Thorough, knowledgeable, professional. Problem fixed. I signed up for Ellingtons maintenance plan, and will recommend them to my friends and family.

The technicians are all great--solid knowledge of the workings of the very complex Trane systems--and the techs are willing to call Trane factory reps when needed, and those reps are also very knowledgeable. My only complaint is that my top-of-the-line Trane unit has not been very reliable--several big and small parts have failed. And its only two years old. Id highly recommend Ellington, but not Trane. Unfortunately I think Trane is the only brand they sell. If you do get a Trane from Ellington, get their warranty program at $10/mo, as youll need it.

They installed 9 new duct boxes for my vents and they left very little damage to my ceiling, most of the ceiling repair is because the new standard size boxes are a little different than the old ones.
