Bausum & Duckett has provided quick, courteous, and competent service on several occasions. This company has completed electrical work and generator tuning and service. I have received an appointment almost immediately many times. On one occasion, Kevin assisted me over the phone to solve a generator problem when I had no power. When I contacted the office, again, I received an appointment on the same day. The office staff is friendly and courteous, and the technicians left my home as clean as they found it. I highly recommend Bausum and Duckett for professionalism, excellent service, and great rates.

Same day response and arrived early! Technician was polite and knowledgeable, found the problem within minutes and resolved it quickly. He even offered to pull the fridge away from the wall for me to remove temporary extension cord and plug it back into its designated outlet.

Electrician Jeremy Cribb goes the distance to figure out problems and repair them in the most practical way. Working in our old buildings, all of which were retrofit with electricity through the course of many years, is a challenge, but he patiently evaluates and solves, quickly!

We had to have a new whole house generator installed, and we got it from B and D. Turn around was quick, and the project was done in two days, efficiently and with very pleasant employees. Highly recommend!

We had them install our Kohler whole house generator and transfer switch in September of 2021.My son and I did a concrete pad for the generator, placed the generator on the pad and 95% of the conduit work. B&D completed the conduit at each end and did the wiring as well as the startup testing and configuration of the generator.The fellow who came out to examine the site and give us an estimate was courteous and respectful. The two fellows they sent to do the installation were the same plus they were through in their work and cleaned up after themselves. All in all very professional not to mention easy to work with.I also want to mention that they were the best estimate and used copper for the main feed wiring rather than aluminum that other more expensive companies had specd.

I moved into a new house and needed electrical upgrades in the basement; the addition of multiple duplex outlets and some lighting in a workshop area. The work was beyond my DIY capabilities because it involved adding additional dedicated circuit breakers into an already-full breaker box. David Dove of Bausum & Duckett visited my home and we went over the plan for the electrical needs. A few days later David emailed a proposal for work to be done and the cost (seemed reasonable) and a few days later an electrician showed up to complete the work. The electrician was very friendly and polite and explained every step of the way what he was going to do. He completed the job with no mess and now I have all the electrical needs in the basement served. I am very pleased with the service I received and would recommend without reservation the services of Bausum & Duckett. I will certainly call them again for any help I need.

Wonderful experience with Jessie Scott at Bausum & Duckett Electric, relocating light switches and hanging a new chandelier. Jessie couldnt have been more professional and polite and finished the work faster than I expected. Working with Bausum & Duckett was easy and reasonably priced. So, we didnt actually have any service done by this company. I felt compelled to write a review because when I called and explained the litany of complicated electrical issues we suddenly seemed to be having, the woman I spoke with (Cindy) was so honest and upfront, she told me she could put me down for a possible visit but that I should first speak to BGE. It turned out that the issue was with BGE and this company didnt make any money off of us. But, I think it speaks to the ethics of the company as she could have just as easily sent someone out to the house to charge us and not be able to fix the problem. I called her back to cancel and thanked her for the guidance. Its really important to remember companies who are willing to sacrifice profits to be upstanding. I will call them when I have electrical issues in the future.
