Ian assured me that help would arrive by the afternoon, and true to his word, Brett showed up at my place a few hours later. Brett did an exceptional job repairing the bathtub faucet that was only dispensing hot water and also replaced the entire house water filter. Previously, I had sought assistance from another service, but their two plumbers failed to fix either issue. They advised me to replace my entire shower system to stop the leak and claimed that the filter couldnt be replaced because the housing had been incorrectly threaded by whoever had installed it before. This disappointing experience made me slightly apprehensive, so I was greatly relieved when I met Brett. The way Brett approached the tasks and explained everything made it clear he knew what he was doing. I informed him that the previous plumbers had swapped out the cartridge, but the faucet was still leaking and only hot water was coming out. Brett assessed the situation, then promptly managed to restore both hot and cold water flow in the bathtub. He was confident that using the manufacturers cartridge would solve the leaking problem. When he compared the cartridge installed by the previous plumbers and the manufacturers part, the difference was clear. As he predicted, the manufacturers cartridge worked perfectly - both hot and cold water was flowing and the leak was gone. There was no need to replace the entire shower system or cut into my bedroom wall. Next, Brett tackled the whole house filter replacement. The previous plumbers had spent about half an hour trying to loosen the housing, using various methods including PVC pipe as a lever, before claiming it was impossible. Brett, on the other hand, knew exactly what to do, and used simple leverage to loosen the housing on his first attempt. The rest of the job was finished quickly and smoothly. Following this, they used their specialized sewer line camera to inspect the pipe, ensuring it was thoroughly cleared, right up to the sewer-main in the center of the road. Spencer went above and beyond and inspected top to bottom for a leak, and he found none. He found the leak was from the shower glass doors not closing properly. I already knew about the water cut off. When something came up, he explained what the problem was and how he was going to fix it. He replaced a faucet and had to replace the p-trap as well. The p-trap was a surprise. Corey left my kitchen clean. Coreys work was excellent and I would have him work for me again!
