I called J&D Building and Windows to get an estimate on all new Anderson windows for our home based on their great reviews. J&D was the only contractor of the many I called that actually gave me the price of the window purchase order and the installation labor cost itemized separately. David, Josh, and Aaron took the time to answer all of my many questions so that i was able decide on and order exactly what I wanted. I never felt rushed in making decisions as i did my research and decided on all of the window order details.When the custom windows arrived, the installation was just as seamless. Josh and his team are true craftsman. They took the time on the installation and also the framing of the Anderson wood windows to get it right. I have received many compliments on their work.Since all of the home windows were replaced, I have also used them for other work as well. Installation of the breezeway drop floor, replacement of all my basement windows, wood moulding trim, and closet shelving, door installations, backsplash tile work installation in the kitchen... All of the work that they did really made everything come together nicely in the renovating project of the home. I only wish i would have used them for even more of the renovation work on this project. They do quality work and it shows. I have and I would highly recommend them to others.

Recently hired J& D to replace windows..they gave a fair quote so i didnt bother to receive other quotes.they came promptly and did a great neat job. At the time i also took quote for sliding door replacement.the offer was great so i took it and they came 2 days later.The work was neat and the crew worked in a manner that it felt as if they werent even there even though its a condo.Josh was effecient,knowlegeable and communicated well.i highly recommend them if seeking work on your home.

I just hired J&D to replace some windows and doors at our house in Cranbury. The whole process went very smoothly, from the initial quote to the scheduling and performance of the work. Everyone was very professional and easy to work with. I also had an item that wasnt on the project list (a swollen bathroom door) that Josh (the J in J&D) shaved down free of charge, which was greatly appreciated. I would not hesitate to hire them again for a future project!

My wife and I used J&D to evaluate our backyard deck to possibly repair or replace it as it is rather old. They suggested we just replace some decking boards and we should be good for a couple more years. We really appreciated that because they could have pushed us towards a replacement which would have made them more and cost us more. The price was very fair and the work they did was professional in every aspect. After replacing the boards, they cleaned and stained the deck for us. I personaly appreciated that when I called they answered and when they said they would be there, they were there. The deck looks great, and we are looking forward to having company on it again. I would highly recommend them. And as if you would need another reason, they are Veteran owned.

I had a really bad incident with my old patio doors right before New Year and rather than extend murky existence of this old piece of junk used this as an excuse to replace it. Unfortunately this time of the year nobody seemed too be eager to take on such job. Anywhere i tried, from install shops to general stores, Ive heard the same story with timeline starting at 2 months. Thats until i managed to get in touch with Dave. He came for estimate at the same day, promised and delivered. in the matter of 5 days (including NY holidays) Ive had beautiful Andersen doors installed. Its so rarely happens in constructions that everything goes exactly as promised, but this was exactly the case. Could not be happier with results. Thanks to J&D
