    Tom & Chris came by and replaced all my bathroom fixtures and did a fantastic job. I’ve been using Boston budget plumbing for 15years now and they’ve never disappointed me.     I’ve met the owner Tom 10 years ago just searching for plumbers online when I initially started my own general contractor business. He came out within 24 hours as promised, gave me a reasonable quote and I hired him immediately. He was very attentive, professional, and did wonderful work. The crew are always professional and extremely friendly. From my personal experience, Boston Budget Plumbing is very reliable, affordable, and knowledgeable. They’re the 1st I call for all plumbing needs for myself, family, and all my projects. I highly recommend them and they should be the 1st you call as well.

    Boston Budget Plumbing is awesome! Our hot water heater wasn’t working on New Years Eve and they prioritized our call and sent Tim and Ahmad same day.     October 2024 - Boston Budget Plumbing replaced my old 50 gallon gas heater that was vented through the chimney with a new power (side of house) vented model. Joe and Tay were the technicians and they were fantastic.They came out on a Friday to offer a quote on the spot. After agreeing, they were back the next week to do the install. They communicated the whole time and the work looks very professional. They did a great job cleaning up afterwards.So far so good with the new water heater. I’ve used BBP before and will definitely use them again. Highly recommended!

    They were very quick to respond to my inquiry, and it was easy to set up a next-day appointment for my minor sink repair.The company sent out Chris to do my job, and he was quick, professional and was happy to explain to me what he was doing the whole time. Will definitely request Chris next time we need help.I dont have a good feel for whether they deserve the Budget moniker, but responsive and good work is worth quite a bit!

    Boston Budget Plumbing, Heating & Cooling did a fantastic job handling my plumbing issues. I initially called them when I had dangerously high water pressure coming from the city, and Tom replaced the expansion tank, tuned up my boiler for winter, and addressed my concerns about the suction ventilation. Because of this stellar experience, I hired them again to replace the boiler in my rental property and upgrade the exhaust fan tubing for the other two boilers and all the hot water tanks.Tom and his top crew—Tim, Connor, and Ahmad—showed up right on schedule, went above and beyond, and delivered great results at a very good price this time around. I’ve been a homeowner for over 20 years and am thoroughly impressed by their professionalism, communication, and quality of work. While the first job felt a bit pricey, the peace of mind they’ve provided is priceless. Boston Budget Plumbing, Heating & Cooling will definitely be my go-to plumbing company from this point forward!

    I called Boston Budget on Wednesday since I needed a dishwasher and dryer installed. I called the office and woman who answered the phone was extremely pleasant and scheduled my appointment for Friday.Tom and Chris did the installation and were very efficient and professional. Tom and Chris noticed a leak in my sink and addressed the issue without charging me extra—tremendous customer service and attention to detail!     We have used Boston Budget Plumbing for years for a range of issues including water heater replacement and, most recently, gas furnace replacement. Tom and his team are always responsive and provide clear explanation of options for what needs to be done. BBP helped us coax our aging gas furnace along for a few years with repairs. When it was finally beyond repair, Hai and Connor did the replacement with a new high efficiency unit. They were a pleasure to work with. From our experience with BBP - we find them professional, responsive, courteous, and competitively priced.

    Chris and his partner were excellent! They were incredibly prepared and efficient. They took a minimal of time to replace my valves (washer/dryer)and installing a bidet. I’m very satisfied especially afterwards they made sure to clean up as well. I would recommended them for any of my network given their price point/ attention to service. Will definitely need them again for future repairs!!

    Boston Budget Plumbing comes through for our family and home every time! Not our first emergency need and likely not the last. They are professionals, inspect thoroughly before offering opinions, willing to explain what’s needed and reasonable in their pricing. With a house full in town BBP’s repairs of our 1/2 bath toilet was an absolute necessity this weekend. They responded within 2 hours and the repair was completed within an hour. Truly thankful for their service, don’t hesitate to give them a call!

    I had two HVAC systems replaced by Tom and Chris. Couldn’t have been happier with process. They scheduled me based on my availability, arrived timely giving me advanced notice they were on the way, nicely laid down protective gear in all the areas they were working in, and were really social and polite while working. Both installs looked great and the guys worked through some tricky space issues. The new units are also a huge improvement noise wise compared to the old units.     Tom and Connor came out to my rental property and my personal residence in the same day. The rental had a slow drain. The team assessed the issue as well as the main plumbing stack. They quickly determine snaking the drain was not appropriate and need to replace the drain and strainer under the sink. This was the right decision as it turned out prior tenants had lost utensils down the drain and this was the only way to fix the sink from periodically clogging. They were quick - providing the estimate and completing the work in under an hour! The price was fair. At my personal residence, the team serviced our furnace and boiler. Tom gave tips on a new system but was not overly sales-oriented. It was very educational. Tom knows his stuff, is easy to talk to, and is a great plumber!

    I have had Boston Budget Plumbing replace my water heater, fix two broken/corroded valves, and replace a broken garbage disposal. With each of these three different jobs, they have been quick, responsive, and reasonably priced. Today, Joe in particular lead a very quick replacement of my garbage disposal. They also show a lot of respect for your home (including shoe covers!) while they are doing their work. I plan to use them again for my plumbing needs.

    If youre looking for plumbers who take your concerns seriously, are available for your emergencies, and wont sell you things you dont need them Boston Budget Plumbing is for you. Dont let the name fool you-- they definitely are affordable, but they are not the budget experience. Theyve been my go to plumbing servicer for the past 8 years (after experiencing not as pleasant refered plumbers). These guys will be there as promised and will explain the issue and different resolutions in excruciating detail if asked (as my husband likes to). Idk about you, but I like to believe and trust the people that help me.The experience includes calling in and connecting with their friendly call center for an estimate appointment, having Tom or another representative assess in person, getting you a prompt estimate, and scheduling further service dates as you feel fit. I used to compare their prices against other companies, but I stopped after they won 3 out of 3 times. I also like that I can call in and ask follow up questions post service and get answers.For additional reference, Ive had BBP help replace boilers, water heaters, find and repair leaky pipes, service our HVACs, and more through these past years and different homes.

    I had my first boiler die after 11 years of owning a two-family house. Worse, it was in the middle of January leaving my tenant without heat. I had several plumbers/plumbing and heating companies come and look to access the damage and what replacing the system would entail. Most highlighted the issues I faced switching from oil to gas, and the dated piping my steam system involved. Some estimates were out of control and others suggested sticking with oil. Knowing I needed heat for the coming months, but not wanting to overspend put me in a tough position. Tom took a look at everything, and wrote me up an estimate immediately afterwards. I asked a few follow up questions regarding the possible issues switching to gas and he assured me that it was the right move, and included a warranty on all the work. We set up a date to install/remove old boiler in 3 days. Tim and his crew arrived on time the morning of install, and completed all of the work by dinner time. Everything was left neat, and clean and Tim even swapped out some vents on the radiators for me, and stuck around to make sure the system ran correctly. Additionally, the clanging in pipes which I had heard for years was corrected. Furthermore, both Tom and Tim contacted me in the days following install to check and make sure myself and my tenant were stratified with the systems performance. Highly recommend and will definitely be calling again if/when the other boiler needs replacement.

    Absolutely fantastic company!!!Tom and his guys are so professional and amazing at what they doI am also going to respond to one of the reviews left by Amelia Anthony.Her and her boyfriend moved in into the unit that had an issue with gas leak that I was not aware of.As a landlord ,that is one of the things that I do not want my tenants to deal with ,or experience .Boston budget pluming showed up on the same day to fix all leaks indicated by the national grid. Unfortunately life isnt perfect ,and several hours later tenants notice that they can smell gas again. Tom send another one of his guys to come that night to take care of that.Next day,they reported to smell more gas and proceeded to call another company.They noticed that the leak was coming from behind the stove and were instructed by me to fix it.Unfortunately nothing in life is perfect,but the fact that 3 different plumbing companies and the inspector made sure to come in ,on the moments notice to fix and inspect everything is something that I am thankful for . Especially in these times,when it is hard to find someone to do the job and to show up.On the issue of permit,they didnt need the permit to fix any of the leaks . But they needed a permit to put in a vent (fan in a can),which they obtain . As I have gone over that with Amelia and her boyfriend. The day was set for that work to be done ,but unfortunately ,even after the last pluming company, called in by them , has explained to Amelia and her boyfriend that everything looks good and they are good to go until the vent is installed.Unfortunately that didnt work for the two of you and you have decided to move out after only 12 days and have been refunded your rent.This all being,I was so saddened that I wasnt able to give you a perfect place ,but at the end all the people that have shows up did the best they could and more to resolve the issue.Good luck to you bothAnd at the end I just wanna thank not just Boston budget plumbing but all the other companies that shows up and did a fantastic job.Thank you and stay safe !!!

    These guys do a fantastic job on HVAC systems – I call them twice a year, once in the spring for AC and once in the fall for heat - to tuneup the system. I have a 15-year-old condenser that sits up on the roof, exposed to wind and weather, and they keep it running great year after year. I highly recommend them for HVAC and plumbing services!

    I almost don’t want to review them because they are that responsive and good - don’t want the secret out. I needed someone to do some work as the coronavirus was bearing down. I had already installed new sinks and was concerned that no one would come by and I would have no water as I needed a few pipes adjusted. I texted Tom based on some small previous work he did for me. He had two of his guys show up THAT DAY. I understand no one is perfect, and plumbing is expensive work nowadays, but the 1 star reviews are incomprehensible based on my experiences with him.

    BBP could not have been more helpful in an emergency situation! I called they as they were the closest proximity to my home and they had someone out to my unit in less than an hour. Tom and Chris were exceptionally helpful and kind in addressing all my questions. They commucated very clearly about the issue and the options to address it. Luckily they were able to fix the clog using the least invasive method and had our bathroom up and running in about 40 minutes!     Boston Budget Plumbing have been my plumbers for years for small jobs and big ones. Tom and his team know what they are doing and always give me a fair price. They stand behind their work. Tom installed a furnace which ended up needing repairs every year. It turned out to be a manufacturers defect. He serviced the furnace and had the manufacturer come out several times to resolve the issue.

Hai did a thorough assessment of the sump pump, and while he told us what was possible, he also advised against doing anything rash (and expensive) since our system was functional. While in the basement, he found a leaking pipe from our hot water heater, which I realized might explain some of the heating issues weve been having in the house. (Maybe stand alone home owners should call in a plumber to do regular diagnostics?)I continue to be very happy with their service, and will call them again. Recommended for the Boston area.---Not easy to find an independent plumber in Boston, but I lucked out with a recommendation for Boston Budget Plumbing. Joe and Tay were able to come out within two days and worked quickly to diagnose and fix the problems.Will happily call them again.
