I received exceptional service from Luis & Andrew to repair the PCV leak above my water heaters. Any type of water leak makes me very anxious and it had worsened from an occasional drip to a steady pinpoint spray. I had visions of the pipe breaking & water flooding the furnace area- I could not figure out where to turn the water off at!. I was so grateful to the schedulers for getting the appt. made quickly! Andrew showed me the photos of where the leak was and I request both pipes to be replaced, to prevent another leak. This service team worked efficiently & got everything cleaned up before they left. Andrew went out of his way to answer my questions about water heater maintenance. UPDATE: Cathy, a representative from accounting, reached out to explain the billing process and apologized for the misunderstanding. She offered to charge us the standard rate to remedy our concerns, making overall cost a lot more digestible. Thank you for your follow-up and excellent customer service!—————————————————————The technician himself was competent, approachable, and friendly. He did show up 50 minutes later than the quoted time window, but I can live with that. It was late on a Sunday night, l get it.However, what I cannot live with: I am flabbergasted by the lack of communication skills by the dispatcher. I asked her to explain the payment structure on the phone like 6 times just to make sure we were on the same page. We very clearly reached the conclusion that I would pay for only parts and labor for the work that was done on my leaking sink line. I had her clarify MORE THAN ONCE if that meant the $429 emergency fee would be waived if the work was completed, and she said yes.Lo and behold, she explained the billing structure incorrectly, and I was caught off guard by the incredibly high emergency fee that I was explicitly told I wouldn’t have to pay for the work that was done. Had I known this to be the case, I wouldn’t have gone through with the service. What turned out to be a fairly simple repair that could have been addressed the following morning ended up costing me an arm and a leg.Please be more transparent with your customers.

First, the receptionist was so helpful and patient with my No-Knowledge of the situation. Very nice. The technicians, Kaleb and Andrew, were polite, professional, and informative. I got recommended Emergency Plumbing by Waymakers Restoration after a sump pump failed and flooded our finished basement. In a high stressed situation, this company really delivered and helped me out. They came out next day! I got calls and notifications when they would be arriving and everyone who came through my house was professional and respectful of my home. They gave me detailed documentation which also helped with my insurance claim. I thought their pricing was reasonable considering the situation. Special shoutout to AJ, Casey, and Caleb who helped me with the evaluation and installation. As someone who works in the construction industry, I recommend this company and will be using them again in the future.

Ive used these folks in the past, in literal Emergency situations, but this recent visit was to be proactive and address known plumbing concerns. It was a very professional engagement, as always. The tech was Chis and I was pretty wowed by his expansive knowledge in this trade. I also respected his transparency when making some recommendations, as itll pay off in the long run. Theyre punctual and clean, as well. Highly recommend.10.15.24 Update:I had these folks come back out on 10.30.24 to do some additional work, part of which required making two access holes in bathroom shower and whirlpool walls, through tile and drywall. I credit them for making fairly precise cuts which made repairing the walls easier. The lead tech, Kaleb, also did a great job of assessing that the parts delivered by my plumbing supplier were mismatched and had me contact them to get the order corrected. There were a few other minor issues but we agreed to address those at a future visit.Their CS reached out to me afterwards to ensure the engagement went well, address any issues and schedule their return for final work. Great CS and great communication!

I was impressed with the knowledge and courtesy of Christopher who came to fix our issue. He offered a fix but came back later and said that would not work and some digging in the yard would need to be done. He was honest and explained and showed me pictures of the damaged pipe. You don’t find that kind of honesty very often and it was much appreciated. I very highly recommend Emergency to do quality work.

Very responsive. I had a sump pump failure and was about to have a new floor installed. Christopher came out less than 2 hours after I called and in no time at all, had a new pump and checkvalve installed. It was a nice touch to get an email with photos of the pump installation and serial numbers, Chris also left the paperwork for the pump and warranty close to the pump so if I ever need help, I have easy access to what I need.And, he sent me a video showing that the pump functioned!

5-Stars is not enough for this company. I called 3 people, one did not show the other one showed up in a broken down van and he hemmed and hawed about what had to be done. I knew what was wrong and did not have the equipment or energy to do the job. He had a drain to clean out and said you need to get some one else because he could not get on roof. He wanted to go down my pipe vent on the roof! I knew that was crazy so I said thank you and sent him on his way. Then I called Emergency Plumbing and Air. What a breath of fresh air. I told the person on phone what I thought was going on and they immediately set up an appointment for the next day. Christopher a Drain Specialist showed up and immediately assessed the problem. He went to work on the clog that was just inside the house going to my septic tank. He was able to take care of that by accessing through the toilet then cleaned out my main drain. While we were talking , by the way Chris was a great guy, he told me how they could put a clean out on the outside of the house so if it ever happened again it would be easy to get at. I got an estimate for that the next day and I thought that it was fair for all the work that has to be done. I highly recommend Emergency Plumbing Heating & Air for drain problems, plumbing, and air. I am a licensed building contractor in Columbus and hold a HIC license and a General Contractors license and employ several tradesman. You tell Christopher if he needs a job I would hire him in a minute. I have hired and terminated many people. I can teach a person a trade if they are willing to learn. What I cant do is instill the work ethic and core values of that person. Christopher has what those great qualities as a contractor I am looking for. You had better take care of him before someone steals him. Great job guys form start to finish! Chris call me if you need a job.

The plumbing crew came in and completed the job quickly. Special kudos to Breht for taking my sidewalk slab out in 1 piece. Finished it quicker than I thought and no more leaks. Very pleased!!!

Jacob is fantastic. We had a major plumbing disaster that involved a raptured water softener and as a consequence the entire house plumbing system was blocked by those tiny water softener beads. All of this happened on a Friday evening. Emergency plumbing service sent Jacob in and he was super helpful. It took him 4 trips to clean the entire system which definitely required creative problem solving skills.

No one wants to have to deal with leaking pipes on a Friday evening, but this company not only answered the call and were able to send someone out, they had wonderful customer service!Colton was able to help us on the phone when he called to say he was on the way. This company knows what theyre doing! Our AC stopped working 8/29 when it was 95 degrees out and we used their website to schedule our appointment to have it looked at and we got confirmation someone would be at our home between 12 and 4 on 8/30. I texted Zeke who we just loved the last time we needed help with our AC and asked if he could be the technician who came out. He said he couldnt because he was on a big project but that his manager, Shawn, would be coming out and that he was a really good guy, very thorough, and trustworthy. Well Shawn was all those things times ten! He even got here BEFORE the service window time frame which was such a relief. He fixed our unit right then in less than an hour and we are now enjoying the sweet cool air again. Also wanted to say Gizelle was very helpful too and a credit to tour company. Keep doing what youre doing because its working!

This is the second time I used Emergency Plumbing Heating and Air, and it’s the second time because I was unsatisfied with the first. The first time was for a hot water tank. They did a great job and I got an excellent water heater. This time was for a toilet that came off its seat due to rust. Kaleb was on time, friendly, knowledgeable, answered questions and told me what had happened and how he was going to fix it. He did a great job for a great price.

Emergency Plumbing Heating and Air installed today a whole house dehumidifier. Nathan and his team arrived on time with phone calls before hand, confirming the job. They began with a careful reading of the installation procedures. All went smoothly. They were deliberate and thorough as they proceeded.At the completion of their work, Nathan explained the care and maintenance of the whole house dehumidifier. Both men removed all disposable stuff, and cleaned the utility room floor, as is seen in the photos. Nathan was friendly and helpful in explaining the equipment. Their work was a gold standard and the whole house dehumidifier is first rate.

Colton came out for an inspection and was very knowledgeable about septic tanks and I feel great with our plan of action. Caleb and Jimmy came out and replaced my tub spout that stopped diverting and gave me a quote for replacing our water heater and adding a couple components to it to double our hot water. No more someone might have a cold shower—YaY! Thanks!

Shawn was dispatched to complete a diagnostic on why my furnace was not putting out heat. After completing the diagnostic he deduced that the issue was with the exhaust pipe.Shawn accessed the pipe via ladder and found the problem - bird nests had clogged the pipe which he removed. Problem solved, furnace operational.Shawn was professional and efficient throughout his time here. He is also a good communicator. We hope not to have an HVAC issue for an extended period of time, but we feel comfortable knowing that Shawn and your crews are there to professionally serve.

Your first email just reminding you will be there sometime during the day. Made me rush out the door without reading the body of the email. The line “your technician is on the way” should read something like “don’t forget you have emergency plumbing appointment today”.I live 30 mins from the home that had the issue, it is a rental. I ended up waiting 30-45 mins… then left to wait for your call. Was told you called 30 mins in advance which somehow I never got… and your driver ended up waiting 5-10 mins for me to get back to the home once he did reach me.Hopefully that made sense, and lastly your a bit expensive.

The two fellas you sent over were great. They explained everything told me about my heating level ABNC on the hot water heater. The only thing is he told me he said leave it on a because that’s about all you should use and you don’t use any excessive gas, and you showing me how if it went out how to restart it. The only problem I had was when he did that he turned it on and left it there and the hot water was hot just a little pun. First off,I apologize for it taking me so long to do this review.My furnace quit working. I cannot even remember what month it was but it was very cold. I called EPH&A and they responded quickly! I was sent an email about the service tech that would be coming and he was right on time! It didnt take him very long to figure out what the problem was but he did not have the part on his truck but he was told they had the part at their shop. After going back to their shop he found out they did not have the correct part there either. So the service tech Shawn drove to Columbus and picked up the part that was needed and got it installed!I have to say I was very impressed with his knowledge and even more impressed with the compassion he had for us his clients. He kept in touch with me on what was going on the whole day. After the furnace was repaired he explained that the company had a maintenance program that was very affordable and gave me all the details. I signed up for it. I highly recommend you look into it.I also will be requesting that Shawn be the service tech that comes out and does the maintenance on my furnace and AC unit when it is time. He was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. You also could tell that he loves his job and takes pride in the work he does.I highly recommend Emergency Plumbing, Heating & Air, a great company!

I had an issue with my shower water not staying at the right temperature and thought my hot water heater needed checked, so I called the company I had bought it from 5 yrs ago. I also was having an issue with my master bathroom toilet. I called the company and they sent out one of their plumbers Monday of last week. He wrote up 2 estimates, one to just rebuild the the inside workings of the toilet along with fixing the shower faucet and cleaning out the hot water heater, also adding in their yearly maintenance plan all for $1900.00. The other estimate was for selling me a whole new toilet along with the other 2 items, also along with the yearly maintenance plan all for a cost of $2600.00. I wanted another estimate, so I called Emergency Plumbing and they sent Seth and Chris out on Wednesday morning. They looked over the issues and gave me an estimate for a lot LESS money without having to buy a whole new toilet. I had them go ahead and do the work and I am very happy with what they did. I felt much more comfortable working with them to fix my plumbing issues and will contact Emergency Plumbing & Air whenever I have any other plumbing needs in the future. Thank you Emergency Plumbing! Your guys saved me between $1100-$1800.00.

Wow! I accidentally flushed a couple of Lysol wipes down the toilet tank toilet didn’t flush completely so I was concerned it would cause a backup, so wanted to make sure it got “augured out” so not to cause any damage or drain clog. Everyone I dealt with exhibited Exceptional Amazing Customer Service! From my initial phone call at 1:20pm talking with receptionist Skylar, to the call from Chris the Plumber to the job completed by 2:41pm! Chris had an apprentice with him so I’m sure he’s learning from the best! All in less than 2hrs! My peace of mind is worth allot so I feel so confident that the drain clog is gone. With Senior discount it was very affordable! Especially because it was an emergency for us but not considered an emergency service. I would strongly recommend this company especially because I feel I could really trust them if I really had a terrible emergency but hopefully never need them for that…Thanks so much!

This was a job well done. Jacob and Kaleb both exceeded my expectations and were very polite and friendly. They arrived on time and finished replacing a very old vertical copper pipe near the inside water meter shutoff valve that had sprung a leak midsection between the old sweat fittings due to corrosion. They also installed a 90-degree elbow piece going into the union at the meter, and a new grounding clamp as well. I wouldnt hesitate to call them again should the need arise for other plumbing issues and would likely request them specifically if they were available as well. The price was within my expectations for professional plumbing work, and they were done in about one hour. Thanks again for a job well done.Heres another update Oct.2, 2023...Another great job. I had Jacob install two exterior faucets and two inline interior shut off valves today on my copper plumbing. Everything turned out well and I was very impressed with his knowledge and quality of workmanship. I woke up early on a Saturday morning to find raw sewage backing up into my home from a floor drain. I called Emergency Plumbing around 6:30 am and Chris and Caleb arrived around 8:00. Before talking any actions, they spoke with me about what they needed to do and were transparent about the costs. It wasnt long before they discovered that my problems were being caused by a blockage in the water main. They advised me that I needed to have the municipality flush their line so sewage would stop coming into my home, and they even tried to help me find an emergency phone number to call. Once the city arrived, they shared images from their camera to help them pinpoint where the block in the main might be.Chris and Caleb were knowledgable and I was confident that what they were telling me was accurate. Beyond that, they were sympathetic and recognized the property damage I had sustained and the mental toll it takes when you see your home and belongings destroyed.I would call Emergency Plumbing again in a heartbeat if I had any type of urgent need.

They called around 9am when they were 20 minutes out.The AJ and Luis arrived and were very professional. After looking at my sump pump, they suggested I get a new one since this is the second time it happened and the pump was working intermittently. I also asked about a battery backup and tankless water heater. They provided estimates for everything. No high pressure sales.They also repaired a pipe on the outside of my house related to the sump pump.The service was quick and professional. I’ll definitely use them again.

We had fun helping and what a story to tell. I called Emergency Plumbing Services in the morning, and they were able to have someone out to the house within a couple hours to diagnose the leak that was coming into the house from the sump pump discharge pipe. Tracy and AJ found the source of the leak and repaired the discharge pipe. They were kind, communicated well throughout the process, and provided services at a reasonable price.

Late in the evening my son noticed that our sump pump seemed to making a strange sound and was running continuously. Upon further inspection and testing of the pump, it was evident the pump was not functioning properly and that even the battery backup system was not operating as it should.Called Emergency Plumbing at 10:15 PM on a Sunday night and talked with the operator, explaining my situation. They had 1 emergency appointment before mine and said they would be out within 2-4 hours (since the sump wasnt filling with water, I could live with this). Expecting a call that the technician was on the way at 2:00 AM or so, I was pleased when the call came at midnight that the technician, SETH WALLACE, was enroute. Seth arrived at 12:15 AM, quickly tested the primary pump, the battery backup pump and identified an issue with the primary pump and the check valve. He indicated the check valve was causing the water pumped out to flow back into the pit (in effect, keeping the pit water level at the same regardless).Seth quickly replaced the old pump with a new pump, replaced the check valve, tested the system and completed all his repairs in 45 minutes. While we will still will watch the system for a few days to get that sump pump confidence back, I am very confident that SETH WALLACE and Emergency Plumbing solved my issue before my basement became an indoor swimming pool.Thank you SETH and Emergency Plumbing. I am a happy customer and will be setting up an annual maintenance call to make sure all my plumbing systems are working as they should. Happy New Year!!

Alfonso & Zeke were on time and very professional. They checked why I was getting sewage backup on the floor drain (for A/C condensation) in the basement of my new house. They checked out everything in my house and did not find any issues. I had them check for blockages or issues with the pipes with a camera (for an extra fee); not really anything found. Said it may be an issue when there is heavy rains and the city sewer line backs up. They answered any questions I had and were very pleasant. They did advise todays service call has a 30 day guarantee; if there is another problem in the next 30 days they will come back at no charge.

We called this company based on a recommendation from a neighbor. We had an issue with the backwater valve in the drain in our basement. They arrived on time and after just a few minutes Kodi had diagnosed the problem. Great! They fixed the problem quickly but said while they were fixing it, they cracked part of the valve. We understand that things happen when repairs are being made so we agreed to pay for a new part. The first technician arrived with the wrong parts. A few days later the second technician arrived and replaced the part. Then we were asked to pay a $139 service call to come out and replace the part that they damaged on the first service call. Our technician called the office at our request. We didnt believe that we should pay for a service call to replace a part that was damaged when they were here on a previous call. After several phone calls between the office and our technician, the service call was reduced to a trip charge of $49. We believe this company has both competent and courteous technicians that are capable of diagnosing and repairing problems, but ask the office questions about any and all fees prior to your appointment so there are no misunderstandings with the service technicians.The next day after our appointment we received a call from the main office from Jessica and we are happy with the resolution to our concerns. A miscommunication between our technician and the office about our situation has been resolved and we now feel confident that we could contact Emergency Plumbing Service for any future issues that we may have in our home.

We have used Emergency Plumbing Service several times. They have always been on time and very professional. Our recent service was to camera our gutter drainage tile to locate a possible blockage. The crew was Alfonso Lopez and his partner Matt. They found the problem quite quickly. A tree root had grown into a joint in the tile allowing mud in to block the tile.They repaired it. Their crew was very helpful and friendly. They took the time to explain the problem and the possible solutions available. We would highly recommend Emergency Plumbing Service and would use them again if needed.

In 1 Hour they were able to fix the issue (Internal Pipe Repair / External Faucet Replacement) and for much less than their estimate.
