    These guys have always excelled. The girls at the office (Allie and Laurie) were polite, fast, effective and scheduled us right away. We have an older house form 1969 and who knows who and how they wired this thing - we call it the electric ghost house. We had an issue with some lights and outlets suddenly without power. David Suarez the technician from Elcon arrived the same day as we requested an appointment and he went to work resolving the issue right way. He pinpointed the problem and fixed it. -This guys is excellent and has great manners and connects with us as customers understanding the problem resolving it fast. Fantastic technical and human qualities - keep it up. He is a great asset for Elcon. We have used them before for our Pool electrical equipment installation, installing an adapter for our whole house generator and some other minor stuff - always great.

    I had a great experience with Elcon Electric from the quoting to the scheduling. I found them on consumer reports and I made the right decision. Rusty and the other technician were friendly, focused, experienced and did an excellent job with the services. They were very flexible and patient as I didnt have the right equipment the first day so they came back the next day. They kept me informed as they were doing the work and even showed me options to help me make decisions. I will definitely use them again and would highly recommend them.

    Elcon Electric replaced a strip light with recessed lighting. It was a great experience starting with scheduling. Most people underrate how important it is to have competent people answer the phone and schedule work. The electrician who came to my house was on time. He suggested placement for the recessed lights and taped cutouts to the ceiling so I could approve placement before he cut holes into the ceiling. I also liked that he had no issues installing the lights I purchased on Amazon. Great, no nonsense experience and I’d hire Elcon Electric again.

    On 11/20/2023 David did an outstanding job installing new recess lights in my kitchen and a flood light in my pool area. The work was done expertly and perfectly without any problems. In addition, he was very neat and kept all work areas clean. I must also praise Michael who had assessed the work to be done u according to my requirements . The ownership and management at ELCON are to the best and ELCON will remain my top choice for future electrical work that I may need.

    Second time I have used them, and they are fabulous. He chased down and repaired some of the outlet problems I was having in my outdoor shed. Installed new shop lights and a new exterior light fixture. He also helped my clear the continuity problems with my internet cable run!Great guy! Very courteous, very professional.Also want to say that the office is wonderful! They kept me up to date on his arrival and of any changes to the schedule.

    Elcon installed a 200 amp meter main combo unit with 8-16 breaker spaces and replaced the FPL riser pipe with PVC. Somehow everything had rusted out and FPL was requiring the work be done.The process involved coordination with FPL. Everything had to be done to code and it had to pass inspection.Elcon did an exception job from giving me the fairest price, to having very competent people explain the price and the work. Then the person they sent out to complete the job was exceptional.In addition, Elcon contacted me every step of the way so I knew exactly what was happening.They were my fourth estimate.     Service was fantastic. Company called me to ask if they could come early, did everything it took to fix my washing machine electrical source, beyond the job description. Guy was incredibly friendly. Price was reasonable. My old electrician seems to have fallen off the face of the earth so I will definitely continue using Elcon moving forward. Highly recommended!

    I had some electric mishaps over the weekend with some outlets, lights and other things. I had seen Elcons trucks around town and read the great reviews, I called Monday morning at 8:30 and was able to get an electrician here at 10:45. The customer service woman was so sweet and pleasant and our electrician was a very nice man. He was knowledgeable and patient with my husband and I. We had just re done our kitchen and he was able to out the finishing touches on everything. Thank you Blair...Very satisfied customer and I will always call back when I need electric work completed.

    Great service provided by Luis from Elcon. He did a great job installing my ceiling fans. The ceiling has some intricate wood pieces that made the install very difficult but Luis found ways to overcome the issues and install them perfectly. Thanks Luis!

    I had recess lighting work done in one of my living rooms. I had six lights installed plus wiring. Carlos the electric technician did a fantastic job. He also installed some recess lights in my kitchen about two years ago. He is highly recommended, very professional, courteous and gets the job done right. I will be doing more business with Elcon Electric in the near future as there prices for doing electrical work are reasonable.

    After shopping around I decided to hire Elcon. Best choice, the price was in range, office staff was helpful and courteous. The tech that came to do the work was courteous and explained what he was going to do. He made sure everything was working before he left and cleaned up after himself.

    Our job was a 2 day deal. We were having the inside and outside power panels replaced and then Elcon was going to troubleshoot some outlets and switches which didnt have power to them.The beginning of the first day was a little stressful because they had to cut the power to install the panels, but everything went in rather quickly and the rough inspection was passed with flying colors. We were without power for about 6 hours.The next day, JJ got our faulty outlets and switches working again by bypassing the existing wiring and running a new wire .The price was decent compared to their competitors and their workmanship is great. Id highly recommend them, and will use their services again.

    The electricians that did the work on my projects were very capable, well trained and knowledgeable. They arrived when they said they would and the communication was excellent. Not so with the woman who calls herself a manager. Very hard to communicate with her and her attitude was something I could do without. I would use them again. I will update with the results.***UPDATE: They came out and connected my water heater to the breaker box with an emergency on off switch placed in the utility room. I am completely amazed with how great of a job they did. Their professionalism is superb. I will definitely be calling them again for all my electric needs.

    FPL came to my home because my meter was indicating a problem. Upon inspection, it was determined that I needed a meter block replacement at the very least. The technician indicated two other potential problems.I called around for quotes and checked licenses and reviews. Elcon scheduled an appointment for me with Adam for Friday, within an 11am-1pm window. Adam arrived at 11:15. He confirmed what FPL had told me, and provided me with a “worst case scenario” quote including the other potential problems. I thought the quote was very fair.After the permit came back, Liz scheduled an appointment with me for 8am with Christian. He arrived at exactly 8 am on the day scheduled. Everything seemed to go seamlessly, from Christian’s work to the FPL and city inspections, and took a day and a half total.Adam, Christian, Liz, and Tom were all very pleasant, professional, and prompt! Would not hesitate to call them for future projects and would recommend Elcon to friends and neighbors. P.S. having company-identified vans and uniforms is a plus.

    Mel is the BEST. He installed recessed lighting with dimmers in four rooms, hung pendant lights in the kitchen and fixed wiring that a friend had wired incorrectly (hazardous!). He also checked that my smoke detectors were working properly. (I’ll sleep better at night now.) Elcon lives up to the hype and multiple 5-star ratings!

    I had a small but annoying intermittent power outage in my garage. Its the kind of thing that i might have been willing to try to repair myself, but could have been frustrating and time consuming and dangerous. I just needed an electrician who could quickly and efficiently help around the house with the small stuff.I had seen their cable TV ads and read about their various guarantees. So I called and Mike came out and fixed all my issues.The power is now restored to my garage and Id recommend Elcon at minimum for those small but important jobs that you just want to get done so you can get on with your life!

    BEST electrical company EVER!!! Needed a Federal Pacific panel replaced in my new home. Had several estimates as anyone should for a job this big. Had one from a company called MR.SPARKY and they tried to charge me $14,000 for the job. Told me all my wires from the main HAD to be replaced and I had to have smoke detectors put in that HAD to be hard wired. All LIES!!!! Had ELCON come out and they competed my job with the best technician anyone could ask for, JJ. Job has been signed off by an Electrical Inspector and smoke detectors are all battery. All this for $2500.00 including PERMIT fee. MR. SPARKY has a few wires crossed and he should be ashamed of himself!! Thank you ELCON for being so professional and all of your staff is wonderful.

    We had our 50 year old fuse box replaced with an updated breaker panel. Although it took a little time to get the required paperwork in order for scheduling FPL & the local building permit Dept. the entire (very coordinated) 1 day process went flawlessly, right down to the inspection sign-off!     The entire staff at Elcon Electric is courteous, dependable, and professional.When we moved into a new home they hung kitchen and dining room lighting fixtures for us and installed LED high hat lights in the living room and the master bedroom. They were prompt, showing up exactly when they said they would, and the areas where they worked were spotless when they left.After Hurricane Irma we did not have electricity in parts of the kitchen, but did in other parts. They scheduled an appointment within days and took care of the problem. (It was a defective breaker.)This past week the electrician that has worked in our home after the hurricane, J.J., helped troubleshoot and solve an electrical problem we were having with some outdoor lighting. J.J. explained things to us in a manner that we could understand.We are totally pleased with Elcons quality of the work, the capability and knowledge of the staff, and the fairness of the charges.
