Tracy in the office was very accommodating in scheduling an appointment. She said the electricians should be at my house at 8:00 and they were here at the exact quoted time. My problem was quickly evaluated and corrected in a very timely manner. They will definitely be my go to source for any future electrical issues. I felt the price was also reasonable.

The wait time for an appt from two other electric companies was 10 days to 2 weeks. Smoot was the third company I called. They were at my home in less than 2 1/2 hours. The tech quickly diagnosed the problem, discussed it with me detailing the work to be done, the time it would take, the approximate cost and had it fixed within 40 minutes from arriving at my home. From the initial phone call to the service call Smoot was courteous, obliging, knowledgeable, and efficient. They will be my first call from now on.

I am so pleased with Smoot electric! I recently moved to the area and needed to update our electrical. They are very knowledgeable and very good pricing! I had another company quote me 3 times more than Smoot. I dont remember all their names but thank you Bill and Tracy and Greg and the whole crew!

We had just completed a pool and we were looking to create the right ambiance in our backyard. I am glad I decided to call Smoot Electrical. Jeff promptly replied to our request to evaluate our yard and he provided us with a very reasonable estimate. Jeff made me feel comfortable and confident as he offered many ideas and plans to create the right atmosphere.Greg and Dave had arrived at our home at the appointed time. The plan was meticulously reviewed throughout each step. I certainly appreciated our interactions and was made to feel valued. More so, before each step of the plan was carried out, Greg had found me and sought my feedback through the entire process.Overall, I have been extremely satisfied with the quality of work received and I would highly recommend Smoot electrical without any reservations. I have already provided neighbors and friends with this information.

We are very satisfied with the experience. We called for non-emergency work (installation of additional outlets in bathrooms), yet they were able to schedule the work to be done in less than a week. The office called the day before the work to confirm the appointment and again after the work to be sure we were satisfied. The crew got right to work and finished quickly in a professional manner, including cleaning up the drywall dust from where the holes for the new outlets were cut. The cost was quite reasonable. I am normally suspicious of companies or products with 95+% five star reviews. However, it is certainly deserved in the case of Smoot Electric.

I cannot say enough 👍👍 about this service. Smoot was my first choice, especially after reading all the great reviews. Bill Wolfe, Trent, and 2 other men, sorry I cant remember their names, but theyre brothers. They fixed an electrical problem we had dealt with for years. They identified problem, then fixed it!! And Lord bless them, they had to go into our attic, which is not easy to move around up there. They were prompt, courteous, professional and polite, and the price was super reasonable. Smoot Electric will forever be my go to for any electric work I need. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. Thanks so much fellas for fixing us up. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! We are selling our house and have some updates to do before closing. Smoot scheduled our repairs a couple of weeks out but finished another job early and were able to get to us a week early. They ran into a problem with our tiles but were quickly able to come up with a solution. They even read our home inspection and noticed something I had forgotten to request fixed. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again!

Smoot Electric literally came to the rescue - with a wiring situation that had become dangerous, needed immediate attention, and with other companies unable to get to us quickly. Jeff responded to diagnose the issue, then checked in daily until a full repair crew was able (delayed only because of 3 days of heavy rain) to replace our home’s entire back panel/breakers and meter box - a full day job requiring Baldwin EMC on site as well. Smoot coordinated the utility permit, and the crew did a professional, thoughtful job down to every detail - thoroughly explaining the project along the way. Look forward to recommending Smoot Electric to any and all!

UPDATE:2 nice, professional’s from Smoot had a cancellation and came to complete the work on Tuesday. Very pleased with the work! They cleaned up after themselves and all was great. Everyone has a bad day…but it only takes a deep breath and a smile to convey kindness.lRude Rude Rude!! Zero Customer service!! Tracey in scheduling was hateful and unprofessional! This company did the electrical work on our new construction and did not wire one of the bathrooms correctly. This should’ve been corrected before we moved in over 2 months ago but wasn’t. Finally had the work scheduled for Nov 29th and no one showed. They arrived on Dec 2nd and had the audacity to tell me that I knew they were coming. I was not home I did not speak to anyone about coming on Dec 2nd! Tracey proceeded to YELL at me and tell me that her people will not sit around and wait an hour for me and that she left me a voicemail! She also told me that the work to be performed was “just warranty work”!! Lady, your company did not do the installation correctly to begin with! Now we’ve rescheduled and I’ve been told that I have to expect to wait 8am-5pm on the scheduled date! This company needs someone else answering the phone to represent their brand and their name. No customer service! If I could give ZERO stars for customer service I would!

I highly recommend Smoot Electric! I had 4 recessed lights on my front porch and wanted to replace 2 of the lights with ceiling fans. Jeff did such an amazing job. He wired both fans and provided a new switch so that they ran separately. Most important to me - Jeff did the job without any of the wiring for the new fans showing - all of the wiring was behind the walls and ceiling. Very professional and excellent results!

Jeff, the owner and Zach installed my sconces in my dining room. The job was tricky due to a fire wall and stud. They did an exceptional job.
