Im fairly new to this area and was having an AC issue, so I took a chance on TKC. I couldnt be happier with their service! I sent a message through their website around 5am this morning, and got a message back just after they opened at 8am asking if today between 11-1 worked for me.Jason arrived right around 11am and did a fantastic job for us. It turned out it was a thermostat issue (I had a Nest which is apparently known to have problems) so after he left, I bought the new thermostat he recommended.I did have to call back after I installed it because it still wasnt working (some settings werent configured correctly...totally my fault). Jason was walking back through my front door within half an hour and had me up in running in no time. VERY GOOD SERVICE. He clearly knows what hes talking about. Its running great, he didnt try to charge me for anything unnecessary, and he was a pleasure to talk to.Im now writing this review and relaxing in my much cooler house. Ill use TKC again for sure and highly recommend that you give them a try, too.

This is the second time we have used TKC Heating and Air Conditioning. Our oil furnace suddenly stopped working. When we called TKC they arrived within the hour. They told us we needed a new HVAC system. We decided to go with a heat pump system, and 2 days later they installed it. Everyone was friendly and professional, taking time to explain how the new system and thermostat worked. We highly recommend them for any HVAC work you may need.

We had both our upstairs and downstairs units go out and had to replace them due to just old age. After four estimates we chose TKC as the best value and were not disappointed!!! There work was excellent with care for details and went above and beyond what was expected!!! We even had a small electric issue that WAS NOT associated with the new units that he fixed for us. This is a company that will give you an honest estimate of what needs to be done and will even go above and beyond.I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

Our upstairs HVAC unit failed. Home warranty company sent their contractor out and determined that the unit was not repairable and needed to be replaced. Other companies estimate was a single line item - replace upstairs HVAC. No other explanation or details. Home warranty denied the claim.We contacted TKC and they came to the same conclusion, replacement was the only option. However, Mike was very thorough in his explanation of why, and what was required to bring the system current. I felt their price was very reasonable compared to the other company out of Richmond. They offered an extended warranty at no additional cost. They got us on the schedule and the unit was installed in days, not weeks later. The techs who did the installation were awesome, great attention to detail, kept us informed during the install process, and explained the use of the new system. A TOP NOTCH CREW !!Thank you Mike and the gang at TKC for being such a great company.

Ive used TKC several times over the past few years. Theyve installed a new furnace and heat pump, a mini-split, and relocated my water heater and installed a tankless heater. I also have a semi-annual maintenance program with them. Every time their service has been terrific and their work impeccable. Ive been able to get appointments quickly, they always arrive when they say they will, and everyone is so pleasant. Highly recommend!

It is so refreshing to have a service company not only return calls in a timely manner, but actually arrive on the scheduled date and at the scheduled time! We had our a/c go out the summer of 2015 , we called TKC to come check it out. They arrived when promised and were more than courteous and professional. We unfortunately had to replace the interior coil, but it was fixed within 48 hours and we were cool again. We had another problem last summer and TKC came out the next day and could have easily sold us another outside unit but Mike explained it was just a capacitor and he replaced it and we were on our way again. The prices are competitive and the service excellent.

Awesome service! We were traveling out of the country; I e-mailed TKC one morning, concerned that our electric bills were high, that perhaps there was a problem with the heat pump, and told him where the key was hidden. That afternoon I received a reply e-mail that they had made a service call, diagnosed and repaired the problem and everything was good to go.I was a high end residential general contractor and had used TKC exclusively for years before; their work was always first rate and they were extremely reliable. Their prices were not cheap, but competitive with other HVAC contractors, their quality is exceptional, and Mike Elias is as honest as one can be. You will not find a better HVAC contractor!

These guys came to my house the day before Thanksgiving and installed a whole new system so me and my family would be comfortable for the holiday. Before that, they spent hours trying to fix my old system so I wouldnt have to purchase a new one. When I decided to get a new one, they gave me a wonderful and competitive price on an American Standard system. They are honest, efficient and I would recommend them to my mother. I highly suggest!

June 12 we came back home after a weekend out of town and found our home to be 85 degrees and getting hotter. TKC came out and could have tried to sell us a new unit or charged us as an emergency but they did neither. They were helpful, prompt, and so nice. Mike came out and fixed our 20 year old unit and we couldnt beat the price. I also have to say it was a special blessing for us. We are so used to getting taken advantage of that I was braced for the worst and I was so surprised by this company that I will now call them for all repairs, and when we are able to replace this old dinosaur of an air conditioner I will be calling TKC because I trust them to give me an honest assessment and a fair price.

It was Friday evening before Christmas weekend when our heat went out and it was supposed to drop to 5*! The heat went out just after 5pm and we couldn’t get ahold of any HVAC businesses to fix our heat. We live in a smaller double wide and have children including a baby and were very concerned we may have a frozen Christmas ahead! THC answered our phone call and immediately dispatched Elijah. He figured out the problem in about 5 minutes and had it fixed in a couple of hours. It required installing a new drain line under the house as ours had frozen completely up! He did this in 10 degree weather with a smile on. VERY Reasonably priced and a Christian company also. Quite literally a God send! Merry Christmas!

Kim and Mike at the office took excellent care of my request to get a Navien tankless water heater installed in a very short time frame. Their two service guys, Jason and Richie, were 100% top notch, skilled, experienced, friendly, professional and had the job done in less than 4 hours after arriving to my house on time as promised. I would recommend them to everyone!

Came out on short notice on Christmas Eve (which was amazing in itself) when it happened to be 17 degrees outside! Figured out the problem and had our heat running in less than 30 minutes. Reasonably priced and offered a more long term solution that would cost more, but did not push it on us to let us decide on our own. Very professional and friendly. Can not say enough nice things especially since we had 4 freezing little kids!

Two days before our daughters wedding, the AC failed. 90 degree days and a number of guests in the house (including some elderly) did not promote happiness. I called TKC about 30 seconds after they opened that morning and explained our predicament. They placed us on the first appointment of the day, and within 45 minutes a polite and knowledgeable technician was on the scene. The problem was quickly diagnosed, and by mid-morning everyone was calm, cool, and collected. Thanks TKC for your understanding and rapid response!!

Fast response and fast service!!!! We had some issues with our outside unit and they came out and got it working temporarily. We are having our system updated this week so I will definitely be updating this soon to let everyone know how that goes... but I have faith all will be well!!!So far I am pleased with this company.I will add some pictures once they are completed.
