Ricky of Plumb Perfect Plumbing installed a new pressure regulator on our main water line in our basement in February 2024. It worked fine for a few months, even when the irrigation system turned on. Then it started to cause the water pipes to bang with a loud noise each time the system started. Ricky determined that the regulator had to be moved further away from the backflow device to function properly. He had not run into a situation like this before. Ricky not only located the regulator further away from the backflow device, but he also used a different (and better) regulator which had a digital control valve to set the pressure, and replaced the main house cutoff from a plastic (difficult to use) turn knob to a much easier lever. In addition, Ricky had to move the bib pipes and securely mounted them to the wall, which was not even done by the builder when we bought the house. All of this work, including the additional items, were covered under the initial warranty of the unit. No additional fees were charged! We are so pleased Plumb Perfect not only stood behind their work of installing a new regulator, but went above and beyond with the enhancements described above. Ricky did a great job! Thank you!

This job was physically demanding, but Ray and Dan worked cleanly and methodically completing the task. They even were required to return to Fredericksburg to obtain the appliance. They could have postponed completion until tomorrow since it was late on this sweltering day, but to my relief, they persevered. They even fixed another problem which I considered impossible because a different expert - from another company - would not do.I was impressed with their cheerful, professional demeanor.
