Called them for an emergency and thankfully, they were able to get someone out pretty quickly. Milton and Jay came to the house on time, called me a half an hour before and once they took a look at what was going on, presented me with an estimate before they even started to work, so there were no surprises. they were super professional, showing me everything that was going on and what was needed to be done. They did the work fairly quickly, everything looked great and went as expected. I was able to turn my water back on really quickly. Having two teenagers at home for the summer with no water is no fun. I would highly recommend this company and especially Milton and Jay for any plumbing work

They found time to squeeze a leak test in at the very end of the day and figured out it was the hot water loop under the house, they completed closing the leaky line. The next morning they showed up and ran a new line in the attic. Great work by Moody, the two guys working on the line and Nick were great!

I hired Moody Plumbing on 1/7/20 to change out an old main water valve and a hot water heater valve. They were one of 3 plumbers I called. Their price was reasonable and their reviews were mostly good.Mario and Alex showed up on time. They were very friendly, neat and professional. The job was done to my complete satisfaction.But the main reason I wanted to write this review is to say HOW Mario and Alex completed this job. The 2 other plumbers I called for an estimate said theyd have to cut through the bedroom wall in order to get access to the main pipe, that it was too tight in the utility closet. I was very upset that Id have to have someone else come and repair the sheetrock and then sand and paint.Well, Mario never mentioned anything about having to cut into the bedroom wall, he just changed out the valves in the utility closet without damaging the bedroom wall, saving me more headaches and money.What Im getting at is that while everybody else wanted to take the easy way out and just cut through the bedroom wall to make THEIR job easier, Moody Plumbing made the effort to do the job the more difficult way, thereby making the homeowner, me, happy.Thanks again to Mario and Alex. Id highly recommend Moody Plumbing to anyone needing plumbing work. They did everything right.

I love these guys! Weve used Moody before, and have always been satisfied. They may charge a bit more than some plumbers, but whenever theyve done work at our home, its been done right. This week was a great example of their commitment to good service and fair treatment.After the sound of rushing water behind our shower wall woke me at 1:37 a.m., I imagined the worst. I turned off the houses water supply and lay in bed picturing broken tiles, a gaping hole in the shower wall, and a stupendously costly repair to find and fix a leak.At 8 am, I called Moody. The good news: they could come out the same day. The bad: it would likely be expensive. I printed a $35-off coupon from their website, and waited. Fortunately, Victor, and Marc, a supervisor with more than 15 years experience at Moody, were excellent leak detectives. Marc checked our spinning water meter, and investigated several alternatives inside and out BEFORE hacking into the wall. Luckily, the culprit turned out to be a broken line to a backyard hose bib, where seawall construction is underway. He shut off a valve to the problem area. Voila. No wildly spinning meter; no rushing water sound behind the shower. The charge: a very fair $125. The bad line will be fully repaired once construction ceases.From my first call to office to the arrival of Marc and Victor, Moodys team was courteous and knowledgeable. Well definitely hire them again. 5 stars all around.

I get home from work on a Monday and noticed staining on my baseboards. I identified that my water heater has been leaking slowly. I found Moody Plumbing via a Google search. Moody sent a crew out early the next morning to assess the problem and came back an hour later with the replacement unit. By 2:30pm the installation was complete. The installers were very professional, knowledgeable and not only cleaned after themselves, they cleaned most of the staining on my tile floor from the leaking water heater. I will pay for good products and services, and Moody Plumbing delivered. Susan was so very helpful every time I called, and when the city inspector came a day early while I was at work, Susan immediately called the city and the inspector came out the next day as originally planned. Moody Plumbing is a solid company which I highly recommend.

My heart “OVERFLOWS” with awe and gratitude— for these amazing plumbers—who saved my drains and my house, after 40 years of problems!!!Plumbers who had ripped me off? Terry’s Plumbing (who showed up drunk, and accomplished nothing, but charged plenty)—(liars, phonies, cheats, and frauds!) and Doc’s Plumbing—who quoted me $10,000 PLUS, to replace PIPES THAT DON’T EXIST, that supposedly ran under my floors and connected the bathrooms and kitchen.Terry’s and Doc’s should be criminalized.MOODY PLUMBING (“Don’t Get Mad, Get Moody!”) installed a clean-out for both bathrooms—diagnosed the missing piece—thus causing MY ENTIRE HOUSE to DRAIN FREELY AND EASILY, FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER !!!!!!!!It had been clogged, to one degree or another, for 40 years !!!!!!The sweetness of the air throughout my home—the freshness of the breezes, as I finally open the doors, the windows, the drains—cannot be described.I feel like my house had a horrible head cold, and finally blew its nose...The relief is absolutely palpable. I didn’t know my house could feel like this. I couldn’t be more grateful and amazed !!!I have this sudden urge to clean my tubs. I’ve been buying Scrubbing Bubbles like it was crack cocaine and I’m an addict.I can’t get enough of the great, good, spanking new freshness!I can do all kinds of new things now: hang laundry in the shower in the master bedroom—leave all the doors open and get fresh air—hang shower curtains anywhere—scrub floors and know they’ll stay scrubbed—choose my tub or toilet, even take a bath. The possibilities are endless!!!These 2 hard-working Moody plumbers—showed up one morning I’d called—and worked tremendously hard, completely unsupervised, all day.They jetted the lines, and sent down a camera. They found the lines dirty and clogged—so dirty and clogged, that the cameras couldn’t see anything, until AFTER the lines were jetted!But the “cracked metal pipes under the house” —that Doc’s Plumbing wanted to replace for over $10,000–DID NOT EXIST !!!!! The lines ran straight from the bathroom to the street-and from the kitchen to the street. They just needed to be cleared. The bathrooms also needed an outside clean out installed. The existing one was buried.For Doc’s Plumbing to quote me $10,000 PLUS to replace fictitious pipes, is CRIMINAL. It was PREDATORY—a complete attempt to take advantage. DON’T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU!!!These guys (Chris Butcher, Mateo, Jason) should be arrested for exploitation...among other charges.And I had heard this before....I also had 1st Choice Contractors (Greg) quote me $80,000 to fix the same non-existent issue—coming INTO A HOME I OWN OUTRIGHT, and telling me I “should have sold the house before I fixed the roof” —and telling me to throw away everything I owned, so that Greg could knock down my house—to “chase the pipes” that don’t exist—and build a new house I don’t want.You can really pick your poison when it comes to bad plumbers around here! What a racket! Doc’s Plumbing even wanted an engineer!Greg told me “the neighborhood warrants spending the money.”I guess that means I don’t deserve to live here.I spent less than $3,000 for Moody Plumbing to actually fix the problem. It had existed for 40 years. I’d thought it was just going to be another BS day, with a big check at the end...But Hallelujah !When the 2 guys from Moody showed me how they’d fixed it, I was more jubilant than I’ve ever been in all my life.“DON’T GET MAD !!!!! GET MOODY !!!!!!!!”
