They clearly explained the additional items needed (ex: giving the stove its own breaker) and quotes of the differences along the way. I had just brought my disabled husband home from the hospital where he had been for months. My kitchen light fixture went out. It was so dark in the kitchen I could not see. I called and explained my situation and asked for help and they came the next morning and installed a new fixture. The guys were so nice and helpful. We’ve been a loyal customer with Easy Electric for over three years. They are thee best electrical contractor ever! They first discovered bad wiring in our house due to a previous inferior contractor that did work under code specifications. Since our initial inspection with Easy Electric, they have completely rewired our house to safety code specifications,installed all new ceiling fans, new hallway ceiling lights,new GFI ,recessed ceiling and closet lights,new electrical outlets in the walls, and outdoor security flood lights and outdoor power outlets. My biggest thanks to Easy Electric is when their technician found extremely faulty wiring In our sunroom ceiling when he was installing new ceiling fans. He said that the faulty wiring had begun to melt and he was surprised that we hadn’t had an electrical fire! He saved us from a catastrophe that would have burned our house down! Do you see, we totally trust the master electricians at Easy Electric for insuring our safety with an up to code house. The electricians were very conscientious. After fixing the problem that required replaced wall switches, they tested the power and discovered that we had low voltage coming into the house, which is a serious issue. Dominion had to fix it. After calling electricians all around Columbia only to be told that it would literally be 4 days before anyone could replace the burnt, damaged, outlet in my small childs room, I called Easy Electrical. Kate was on the money immediately. She sent Steve out to my house in less than 2 hours and they replaced the receptacle and the breaker that was causing the problem within an hour. I didnt even know it couldve been the breaker causing the issue! So thankful for them and now this mama can rest easy knowing her baby girl is safe again. Thanks Easy Electrical!

Easy Electric was a lifesaver! We had a tree fall in the middle of the night and rip off our electric box from the side of the house. I called many companies, and Easy Electric was able to be on scene first thing in the morning (most other companies said we’d likely have to wait 24+ hours, so the fact we didn’t even have to wait 1 hour after they opened was AMAZING). Josh and another electrician came out and quickly got our system fixed. They evaluated the situation, gave us a preliminary quote, then got right to work. They were incredibly kind and professional. They also had spare time and checked another electrical upgrade we wanted quoted while they were here. Incredibly thankful for the blessing Easy Electric was! We fully trust them and will return to them for any future electrical needs!

Excellent work and very good communications with the crew and the owners. We had a Federal Pacific breaker box replaced, wired smoke detectors installed, and fluorescent lighting under our kitchen counters replaced with LEDs. I called Easy Electric LLC in Columbia SC, to fix my stairway ceiling light fixture. My appointment was at 10am, they asked if they could come earlier. I said you sure can, the ceiling was past the 2nd floor. Steve and Nick took no more than 20 minutes and job completed. I just have to say that they were very friendly, of course they should be, but you can tell it was for real. I use Easy Electric LLC before for my ceiling fan installation. I originally contacted them regarding an electrical issue and Katielynn recommended that I first call Dominion Energy to ensure it was not an issue on their end. Turns out it was not, but I appreciated her honesty in recommending this option first. I then remembered we had a home warranty and the person the warranty company sent was here for 2 days and not only did not fix the problem but said someone else would need to come and rip the wall out to repair the issue. Because my first encounter with Easy Electric set the tone for a trustworthy company, I called them back and made an appointment. Nick and Ryan had my lights working in less than an hour and my wall intact. They were polite, professional and thorough. Will definitely be using them again for lighting upgrades and any future issues.

I was having an issue with the wiring of my electrical outlets and master bathroom light. I had done some testing and knew that it was a problem somewhere that was causing the whole line of outlets to go out. I couldnt figure out the problem so I called Easy Electric. I had to leave a message and was worried it would be awhile before I got help, but I got a return call within a couple of hours and a technician arrived within 30 minutes of the call. Michael was great! He was so polite and friendly, even to my elderly dog who kept wanting to see what he was doing. He was so good about helping move my big bedroom furniture around to fix all of the outlets that had been backstabbed to make sure I had a good connection throughout the room. I highly recommend Easy Electric and Michael.

Dennis OToole came out and looked at our 1960s electrical breaker and advised us. He was professional and did not push a sale. We decided to get the electric panel upgraded and the two electricians who came to do the work, Nick and Ryan, were professional, fast, and courteous. Michael from Easy Electrical Solutions replaced a bad motion detector for our flood lights and trouble shooted a porch light that we couldnt get to work. He also checked on the wiring in our crawlspace and advised us on the safest way to hook up a sump pump we have down there. Currently were using extension cords, but will be setting up an appointment to have Easy Electrical Solutions hard wire it to our breaker box. Michael was very nice, quick with his estimate for future work and did a great job explaining the issues with our To Do list!

I contacted Easy Electric for what I thought would be a minor repair to one of my kitchen outlets.As it turned out, things were a lot more complicated than that. I live in a house, built in the mid-sixties, so wiring is never straightforward. The guys from EE were professional and very knowledgeable. They were also persistent, tracing wires from the attic to the crawl space. They never complained, and they kept me informed as things progressed. The guys did an excellent job, and I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone.

Easy Electric was a great company to work with. We are renovating our kitchen and wanted to add under cabinet lighting and combine some outlets/switches to make it cleaner. I called another company Ive previously used first and their quote was double what Easy Electric quoted for the same scope of work, and the other companys availability was 6 weeks out. Easy Electric was able to perform this work within 2 weeks of my initial call for a quote. They worked with me on some minor modifications and the crew was very friendly. After the initial installation, the GFI kept tripping after less than a minute of the lights being turned on. After alerting Easy Electric about the issue, Dennis personally came out later that afternoon and resolved the issue, which appeared to be a faulty GFI. The bottom line is Easy Electric is the kind of company you want to do business with, and I will definitely use them for any other electrical projects at my current/future properties in the Columbia area.

Began with Ryan conducting a safety inspection and developing a unit cost quote which greatly helped us prioritize our budget planning & scheduling of Easy Electric’s conducted upgrades to our 1930’s home. Steve & Nick have gone above & beyond in the executed services. They aim to please & provide the best value to the customer. They patiently answered my questions & were willing to consider alternate options; they are dedicated to helping clients economically balance safety/code compliance & aesthetic objectives.Work to date has included tracing/identifying elec panel circuit runs to verify existing conditions and available ‘spare’ capacity, grounding the existing Electrical utility meter/ incoming service line & upgrade/repair of misc receptacle hardware/wiring along with installation of new receptacle locations. The Easy team’s Installation of replacement and new location light fixtures is planned next....without a doubt will continue to use them going forward!

Today, I had Bryan as my technician to come checkout the house after it was hit by lighting a few days ago during that really bad afternoon storm. The Storm had most of our electrical sockets not working at all and it fried our Window unit. He was able to handle and fix all the sockets in no time at all figured out for us how our breaker box actually works ( because we had been told it worked differently for the last 2 years so this was a huge help). Bryan was extremely friendly and professional, even wanted to meet my dogs and they immediatly liked him which in my book says alot especially with diesel and he was all for meeting him b/c you have to meet D the proper way inside and let him know you are there as a friend and to help, Diesel took right too him So again that says alot in my book. I Have to say Bryan is definitely a wonderful tech and must be a pretty good guy to get Ds approval that fast. I had several outlets and light fixtures that werent working. Brad and Ryan were able to come earlier than my scheduled time window because they finished another job sooner than expected.They went right to work figuring out what was going on with my outlets and overhead lighting, checking the fuse panel and all the wiring. This involved crawling under the house and going up in the attic.I was impressed with their professionalism and knowledge. When they were finished, they put furniture theyd had to move back in place. made sure all the outlet/light covers were back in place and the fuse panel was secure. Brads expertise with handling older aluminum wiring and newer copper wiring was essential in setting my mind at rest about how to handle any problems in the future. I will certainly call on Easy Electric if I should have any other electrical issues.
