    I woke up expecting to make final preparations for Hurricane Milton, but instead found our home’s plumbing completely backed up. Our toilets weren’t flushing, waste was coming up in our showers, and the ceiling under said bathrooms were soaked.I posted asking for help with finding a plumber that could help and the incredible folks at Kalos Services answered the phone. Rob shared they were not taking calls but he could tell we were having an emergency, so he asked for a few minutes and said he’d call me back. Less than 10 minutes later, Rob called saying Carlos was on his way to us. Carlos showed up at 10:30am, snaked my entire system, removed a toilet, and cleared out all of the issues we had. He was so kind, gracious, professional, and excellent in his craft. He was done by 12:30pm and my home is back to normal in time for the storm to hit. Kalos was incredibly honorable in their up-front quote and charged a very fair and reasonable price to resolve this, especially under the circumstances of being closed for the hurricane.I truly do not have words to thank the incredible folks at Kalos for being such a blessing to our family.If you need a plumber, call them.If you don’t, save their number should you find yourself in need.They are well established in other trades, but plumbing is a newer part of their business and I would just love to see them overflowing with work. They deserve it - for the quality of their work but also for the incredible folks doing it!

    I have used Kalos for several years. Matt was my go to guy for service. He has received a well deserved promotion and Sean came out for service. He worked VERY hard to find a solution to my AC issues, but in the end I really needed a new unit. Super guy! Tyler sent me a proposal and they were out the next day for installation. Cisco and Kris were the installers. Very quiet, courteous young men who are top notch! To my surprise Matt was their supervisor! I have been blessed to have Kalos addressing my AC concerns. They have been very good to me. The whole team has been absolutely wonderful, kind and have done an above and beyond job for me! I couldnt ask for more! Thank you!

    Adversity is what separates truly great companies. Kalos quoted me a replacement HVAC and I opted for a media filter. The quote process, scheduling, and install went brilliantly up until after the installation when I saw that they neglected to install the media filter. Kalos gave me the option to either opt for a refund for that portion of the install or for them to get the filter installed. I opted for the filter to be installed. Doing this required the whole air handler to be removed, the brand new painted platform that they had just installed to be ripped out, another platform to be built and painted, and finally the filter and air handler to be installed. It took an entire day for this to occur along with the cost of replacement materials. Kalos did it without a single complaint but instead apologized for my inconvenience. Many installers would have simply told me they wouldnt install the filter after it was missed or acted as if I had not requested it in the first place. It is situations like this that speak to the character of a company. In this instance, it highlights an organization that has committed itself to the idea that excellence will drive long term success even it comes with short term costs.

    The company that serviced my a/c needs for the past 15 years no longer services my area. So I was concerned when my a/c unit quit working in the heat of July. They suggested I call Kalos as they were also a certified Carrier dealer, what a great experience it was. Chuck showed up right on schedule. He was very knowledgeable and patient with me as I had lots of questions, he explained everything as he made repairs. Within a short time my home was cool and comfortable again at a surprisingly low price. I also signed up for a service contract (great value) requesting Chuck be the technician that comes out in the future.

    About a month ago, I became shocked that my Water Bill was over $400.00, and my Electric Bill was $589.00…! I called both Utility Companies to see if they could provide me with some indication to what was happening for me to experience such high Bills… The Water Company came out and said that I had a water leak somewhere, probably under my Slab… The Electric Company said to have my AC Checked… I knew my AC was operating fine… So, I called Kalos to check my Water Healer, and they sent their Plumber Kelvin, and he was able to determine that my leak was on the Hot Water side, and the bad news, somewhere under the slab… UGH…! The high cost of water and electric was do to the water running continually and the Water Heater trying to heat the water as it kept running through…The best way to repair this situation was to re-pipe all the water lines in the house… You could Jack Hammer where the leak was and repair it (it is not cost effective); however, the house is 26 years old, and all those other under Slab connections are suspect to more problems… So we decided to have Kalos re-pipe the whole house.. They filed The Permits Necessary; came and it took over four full days for them to complete the job… Their Guys are excellent, and very thorough… They are thoughtful about being in your house and way, having to cut close to thirty holes in my walls to reconnect water lines. They were very neat and cleaned up the mess and debris… They even taped back all the Dry Wall Patches so I wouldnt need to figure out a puzzle in replacing and repairing them… Kalos did an excellent job, They have done several large projects for me in the past besides, and I would heartily recommend them to anyone finding themselves in need of Mechanical Projects; AC; Plumbing or Electrical…Vince Sarricchio

    No one is perfect and we all make mistakes, but it is how we correct those mistakes. Kalos installed a whole home dehumidifier and did some duct work in our home. Tyler was awesome in setting up the initial plan and the installation techs were customer service driven. After installation and the unit running a few days it was discovered the drain pipe was causing water to enter our AC drain shutting down our AC. I called the office and within an hour Jesus arrived and provided a temporary fix to get the AC running. I consulted with Tyler who then sent a senior tech to resolve the issue. My only complaint was I did not know when he was coming because the office forgot to call. Sam fixed the issue and the backups stopped. Fast forward a month and its time to change my AC filter and that is when I discovered the fix was actually a fail and I could not remove my air filter because the new drain was in the way of removing the filter. For sure a scenario that could go into the category of funny construction fails. I called back and they sent out Bert and a new trainee. They came the same day and corrected the issue and were apologetic. I could be mad about having them out three times to correct the install, but all of the technicians were apologetic and great to work with. While not the most seamless install ever the customer service lets you know Kalos values its customers and does what it takes to fix mistakes timely.

    Today I had Brandon, Manny and Donovan out to put in my new Mitsubishi ductless ac. I have to say that from the initial quote from Tyler to having the new ac installed I have only great things to say about Kalos and the great guys that installed my ac. There was a problem with my old unit and they handled it like the pros they are!!!! They are not only reliable but you can count on honest service at all times.     How does a company get so many 5 star reviews? You have a salesman named Tyler and an installation crew of Joshua, Gilbert, Brandon and Donavan. Tyler planned my work exactly as I had wanted when other companies told me it couldnt be done. The price was within a reasonable range. The install crew was polite, respectful, and professional. The clean up job was great. Super happy with our new AC units and look forward to future dealings with Kalos.

    I started out with Kalos 7 years ago when I was shopping for a new AC unit. They were very knowledgeable, kind, and patient with ALL my questions. Many emails back and forth. One thing that stood out to me... they knew I was comparing & shopping them with other companies, so they asked who I was considering. I told them. Their response was that the other company had great people working there also, and no matter who I chose, I would be in good hands. I was super impressed by the gentlemans kind words towards his competitors and decided to move forward with Kalos. Seven years later, and no matter who comes to my house, theyre always professional and polite. There are not too many companies like this out there anymore. You wont be disappointed if you choose them.

    Kalos is a great company. Every time Ive had them work on my HVAC system, Ive been impressed. I called the office this morning to report that my system was not working. They sent their tech, Luis, out this afternoon. He quickly diagnosed the problem. After explaining to me the solution and the cost involved, he proceeded to fix my system with all the parts needed on his van. They are a top-notch company!

    Tyler was amazing at getting me a great deal on this new unit. I got a carrier unit and he had it installed within the time that I had available. His installers Ryan and Stewart were very professional. They did an amazing job. They actually built up and reinforced where the handler was going to be placed painted it and cleaned up everything behind them. Tyler was also very helpful in helping me to understand my new thermostat that I had purchased three months previously from another store I highly recommend this company to everyone in the area.     I’ve owned my home for 20 years and have had issues with the ac the entire time. I even had the whole unit replaced and still had to have technicians come out and do fixes that proved to be temporary. I’ve spent well over $10,000 in replacement and repairs until I had Kalos recommended to me. They arrived on time if not early and spent 3 visits to identify several problems. We cut holes in the wall (with my permission) to find the root of the problems that no one in the past was willing to put the effort in. This is the first winter that I did not have to use a space heater to sleep through the night! Thank you Irving, Justin, Bert, Matt and Charlie for taking such pride in your work and making my home a comfortable one to live in.     When we moved into our home five years ago, our air conditioner died within days. The insurance company replaced it with a brand that doesnt have good reviews. We found Kalos through a friend to provide service. Our air conditioner has been running without issue. Additionally, they have come out to inspect within hours should we need them. We are very happy with Kalos and highly recommend them.

    April 2023 Once again, Kalos service level is Amazing. Our central air stopped working overnight. Elliot came within hours and diagnosed that the A/C problem required a major part, so it took two days to come in. At 8:40am two days later I get a call asking if it is still a good time to come. Adriel showed up with the parts and explained the repair. He was very kind and patient with my little girl and the dogs bugging him each time he had to go in and out. The price ended up as Elliot had stated. Do other companies do the same work for better prices?Don’t know, don’t care.When Kalos techs are here they are knowledgeable and friendly, whether it is two in the afternoon or two in the morning. When they are done, everything is completely cleaned and it was like no one was ever there. The cost of the work is always up front and if there is a potential for extra costs due to hidden damage, they are up front about that, too. Never a surprise.That is value and I will never call anyone else.

    I’d like to give a shout out to Eli and Justin! These two fellows are super courteous, and very efficient! I don’t know anything about air-conditioning and they always take the time to explain things thoroughly to me. I always feel super comfortable that I’m not being overcharged. Not only that but they cleaned up after themselves and were so kind to help carry in 2 huge boxes that Amazon so kindly dumped smack at the entrance of my door.     Tyler was very helpful with introducing me to the ME ceiling casette for my lanai. And patient with communication as I am deaf and rely on texting.     We had a Mitsubishi a/c installed on our lanai yesterday by Kalos. Joshua and Ryan were the installers.  We were very happy with the installation and with Joshua and Ryan.  They were very respectful of our property, worked hard to finish the installation properly and cleaned up the entire area, both inside and out, before they left.  To say we are satisfied with Kalos and especially the people who work there is and understatement.  They do excellent work and all the people who work there are top notch.  Please recognize Joshua and Ryan for a job well done and extend our thanks and gratitude.     Kalos Services really stepped up for me this week. My second floor HVAC failed two days ago, and the temps quickly started to rise. I called Tyler and he was on-property the very next morning, helping me work through the best solution for my home and budget.The very next morning (yesterday) Bert, Nick and Kaylee spent the day here installing and trouble shooting a new condenser unit. They were professional, communicated throughout the process and by 5pm last evening, we were cooling again. Special shout-out to Bert for his diagnostics and solve for the internal unit valve issue.     Our old A/C gave me a lot of trouble last summer so I decided to replace it in Spring. I got quotes from several AC companies and Kalos gave me a timely and competitive price to replace the HAVC system. They did an awesome job and they were polite and professional. They also did a good job cleaning everything up before leaving. The new AC is great and definitely quieter than the old AC unit. I would highly recommend Kalos and its team! Great job!     I called Kalos on a Sun evening when I realized the house was not as cool as it normally is(it was not hot, so it was not an emergency)...they repair guy showed up the following morning on time! Went thru the system and deemed that the repair would be costly, and because the system was 16yrs old it would be to my advantage to replace it. That same afternoon a rep came to explain their different systems and gave me a bid on the one I chose...I had talked to several people about the cost I should expect and it was a fair price. I ordered it and the next day I received a call from the office to schedule the installation for the next day. The installation guys showed up on time and promptly went to work...they were professional and efficient...once they were finished, they cleaned up after themselves.I feel very comfortable recommending this company!!!

    This was our first time using Kalos for maintenance on our 13 year old home. We had used another company previous to this and found them lacking in alot of areas. Adriel showed up when he said he would be there and walked me though all of the items he was going to maintain that day- A/C, Dryer vent and Water heater. He was professional and knowledgeable and explained the process and gave me tips. He cleaned up after himself and made the entire process easy for us!

    My experience with Kalos was incredibly positive and I would highly recommend them to anyone! From the first visit to go over all of the options for our AC replacement to installation day when the guys stayed late to make sure everything was perfect, it was nothing but great service.Tyler did a great job to help us find exactly the right option for us, then Jake, Ryan and Carlos did an outstanding job getting the new system installed and made sure all of our questions were answered.They were on time and professional and did what they said they would do for the price agreed upon. Sadly, that is not always the case in the service industry but my experience was consistent with other friends who also used Kalos.Give them a call and get it done right the first time!

    Kalos is by far the best HVAC service provider weve ever had. We initially called the original A/C installers for the house we purchased, however, their business model focused on selling and not on service. So thankful we found Kalos and got an honest second opinion. They not only saved us money but took the time to educate us with regard to understanding our options so we could make an informed decision. They are the gold standard for honest, friendly, and reliable service. Cant say enough good things about Tyler who is professional, trustworthy, responsive and knowledgeable. Kalos staff and technicians are top notch. Ronnie promptly diagnosed and repaired a recent issue. He was extremely helpful and polite. Kalos has earned our trust and loyalty. We highly recommend them!

    We had Kalos install a Mitsubishi mini-split in our garage/workshop. Tyler was excellent to work with. Best competitive price and the service was superb.     We needed a new HVAC for our home, so we called 5 companies for estimates. Out of all of them, Kalos seemed to be the ones that had the least “pressure” to select a certain type of heat pump. Actually, we had Ronnie stop by, and he went above and beyond to make sure our originally diagnosed problem was what was actually wrong. He even made himself available on the New Years holiday to answer our questions over the phone after stopping by for the estimate. We were needing to get a system put in soon, as we were without a working one for around a week and a half due to the New Year and places being closed/inventory being short. They offered to put in a new blower motor for us to get us going until a new unit became available, but we decided to go with a larger, more efficient system that was available at the time.They were prompt with showing up today for our install, and the two installers couldn’t have been friendlier. Overall, it was a great experience, minus the spending more than we initially planned, but I’m sure we’ll recoup some or most of that with electricity savings and rebates from Duke and the government.If you’re looking for an honest company that will go above and beyond to make your home comfortable while you wait for a system installation, (if you have that problem) I would give them a recommendation without hesitation. Plus, it’s nice supporting a smaller, local company that does a thorough job installing, cleaning up afterwards and making sure everything is operational before leaving.I’m glad we chose who we did.

    We hired them based on the significant positive reviews and they did not disappoint. Originally we had them out for a repair. Turned out the part we would have needed was back ordered for months and would cost half the price of a new unit anyway. We decided, without any influence from them, to just replace the entire unit. They never pushed us to do it nor did they try to up/over sell us.They arrived on time for the install. Both gentlemen were polite, kept me informed of what was going on. I have a noisy dog and they both just kept using her name, saying hi and checking on her. They cleaned up after themselves as well.The unit was just installed but it cooled the room quickly and its quiet.

    Ryan and Evan replaced my AC unit yesterday and they were awesome. The explanation at the end and description of the work they did was very helpful and educated me on HVACs. This is the second unit I have had replaced by Kalos and I cannot recommend them enough. Both groups who replaced my units were phenomenal. I cannot recommend them enough. They are clean and thorough. It is amazing to have something like an HVAC replaced and have zero mess.Just use Kalos, you will not be disappointed. The service for the price is the best I have experienced in Florida.

    Our air conditioning system stopped functioning recently, and we determined that it was past the point of continued repairs.We reached out to multiple companies for quotes, including Kalos. An estimate was quickly scheduled and I met with Tyler the next day to prepare a quote for a new system. I was exceptionally impressed with his knowledge and professionalism! He was able to clearly answer my questions and it was readily apparent he ‘knew his stuff’ and wasn’t just telling me what he thought I wanted to hear. Tyler gave his undivided attention and was fully ‘present’ throughout the appointment … he wasn’t scanning his phone for messages or interrupting me to take a call. I rarely see this in service professionals anymore, and his knowledge and attentive personality earned the sale for Kalos even though he was competing against bigger names and lower price points from other companies.Tyler was able to schedule the work for the next day, and both Jake and Kyle showed up promptly that morning. They were polite, hardworking, patient, and labored steadily all day long even though it was miserably hot.     Tyler provided us with a timely and competitive price to replace our a/c. He was very professional and when we decided to use Kalos he was able to schedule us very quickly for a new a/c system.The installation team, led by Zachary Johnson, were on time and had called us when they were on their way with an ETA. During the process of removing the existing air handler and a/c unit Zachary and his team ensured the floors and walls were protected. He made sure we knew what was going on throughout the day. Zachary and his team were uniformed and very professional, as well as being friendly and easy going and down to earth. The work performed was done meticulously and they left their work area cleaner than they found it. One of the team also placed the previous unit’s concrete pad on the side of our house where we keep our trash bins and placed our cans on the pad.     Had the unfortunate experience of my AC unit finally giving out. I had been quoted a high price to replace it by another business. Called Kalos , Tyler came out inspected what I needed, explained in detail everything that would be done, and gave me the choice of several options. Was very professional and not pushy. After making my decision on a Wednesday, install was done on Friday. Grant, Jordan, and Matt were prompt on arrival time. Placed floor protection throughout the inside of my home to protect my carpet and wood floors. Then the magic of replacing and upgrading to a new and more efficient Carrier system began.     Few things in this world terrify me more than needing my AC or my car fixed I worked in the business and I know there are companies out there who will replace parts that aren’t broken or charge for gas they don’t actually put in your system, etc. Well, I feel like my AC repair fears were quelled today. I turned my unit off a couple days ago to enjoy the cooler weather we were having. Today, it would not come on, no matter what I tried. I called Kalos. I spoke to my tech, Ronnie on the phone prior to his arrival. I told him I was a skeptic about AC repairs, etc. He reassured me we would look at everything together and he would explain any and everything before any repairs would take place. When he arrived, he was wearing his mask and we chatted about steps I had already taken, my units history, etc. He was calm, respectful and professional. He showed me all the readings he took and explained what he was doing and why. I never once felt like he was trying to up sell me on anything or fast talk me like some techs do in the industry. I definitely do not want any more AC issues but if I do I am calling Kalos and I will absolutely ask for Ronnie. He really did calm my fears. He spoke very highly of his company and the owner too. Something you don’t hear too often.

Dale came to our house and gave us options on new A/Cs, he explained everything to us so we could understand. Dale and the Techs where so helpful and friendly!     Honest pricing and amazing service. I am pleased that we choose Kalos to replace our entire AC system. Kalos originally diagnosed that we needed to replace our AC and gave us an estimate later that day. We called Home Depot and had their contractor come out for a second opinion and they gave us the same diagnosis but gave us a higher quote on a similar system. We decided to stick with Kalos and took advantage of their 12 month financing offer. The service guys came out and completed the job in the same day.     The company that installed our AC unit cut a lot of corners and did not install a flood valve, among other issues. I called my home warranty and they couldn’t see us for a week (which is insane because we’re in Florida in the middle of July and I mentioned we have a baby in the house). So I called Kalos because of their reviews and I’m so glad I did!!! They came literally 90 minutes after the call and found the problem and fixed it in what felt like no time at all. The gentleman who helped us, Sam, was so polite and seemed knowledgeable about AC systems.     After we had bought a new unit from another local company, we signed a service contract and after the third year when I called them to see if they were coming to service our unit I was told that it had not even been serviced the year before and the reason was “ you are not our only customer “ and they still wanted their service contract money. I then had another company service it while I noticed them at my neighbors, they told me I needed a new compressor, my unit is only 3 years old I told them. They said I could get it warranted and it would only cost me 900 dollars for them to come swap it out. I called carrier directly and they put me in touch with Kalos, Travis came out and looked at my unit and determined it was a capacitor. Said the compressor was in great shape. I will stick with Kalos. Factory trained service techs are the way to go. Just because other companies may say they work on all units, knowledge of the unit is key. Thanks Kalos

    I highly recommend Kalos for AC service. Typically I handle all repairs on appliances and other things around the house. The AC system stopped cooling late at night, I narrowed the issue down as best I could before the rain started. Because of my work schedule there was no way I would have time the following day to complete the work. I called Kalos at 8am when they opened, they said they would try and have a technician out before noon. Keep in mind that this was one of the hottest weeks all year and Im sure they were getting calls left and right. The technician arrived at 10am and within 20 minutes checked the system and diagnosed the problem. He had the part on hand and the system was working again. My daughter said the technician was extremely professional and even took off his shoes each time he came into the house. It takes a lot to earn my trust, Kalos did that and have gained a loyal customer.

    I emailed Kalos on a Sunday asking if they could give me an estimate on what it might cost to replace the top panel of my 24 year old garage door not really expecting a response anytime soon. Early Monday morning I received an email saying they would like to come out and look at the issue and give a quote. I had that Friday off and we set an appointment for 8am. Steve showed up about 5 minutes early which never happens these days. He gave me my options and because a panel would not be able to be found (I did my research and I could not find any myself) we decided on doing a better repair than I had done. I asked when we could do that, fearing Id have to wait until I had another day off, and he said he would do it right now. I was pleased but after an hour, it looked like we were not going to have success and I made the decision to order a whole new door. I got a reasonable quote (had done earlier research) and asked when the new door could be ordered and installed. To my amazement, Steve said he could have it done today. We shook hands and he tore down my old door, packed it up in his truck and headed out to get the new door. An hour and half later he was back with an assistant and the door was fully installed and calibrated to my opener in about 3 hours or so. He wrote up the bill and it was exactly what he said.Steve showed great knowledge and great customer service. There was never a time that he pressured me into something else. Im a customer service manager and I know what GREAT service should be. We talked about a couple more projects I want done at the beginning of the year (AC replacement - Water Heater replacement) and because of Steve, Kalos Services will be my first call and probably only call Ill make to have these other major upgrade projects done.I am very happy with my interaction with Kalos Services and enjoy the fact that they are local to my area. This is the second time I have used them and expected the same level of quality customer service and craftsmanship that they provided when they replaced a garage door for me. I did not think it was possible but my 2nd experience with Kalos exceeded my first.Sean, the person who came and gave me a quote, laid out all my options without any hint of sales pressure. He was right on time for my appointment and even came back later in the day at my request for some final “negotiating”. We settled on a price that worked for both of us and set a date for installation that was only 4 days away.Grant and Jeff arrived on time for the installation. Those two gentleman went way above and beyond what I expected AC installers to do. They pulled my old AC concrete pad out as quoted but took the time and effort to help me dig up an old palm bush to put the old pad in a place I could use later.     Evaluating a company based solely on referrals was not an option for us so we researched extensively, soliciting multiple companies with relatively similar credentials for replacement of our central air conditioner. The lack of longevity in business and highest prices initially deterred us from Kalos. The deciding factor to hire Kalos was primarily due to our interaction with Dale Daniels. Although there was a lack of consistency overall in how companies evaluated our home’s needs, Dale went beyond the others by touring both the inside and outside of the house, asking questions about our home’s problem areas and if there was anything specific we had challenge with –few of Kalos’s competitors made this effort.     Our AC went out completely with the temperatures at 93+ degree. Kalos went out of their way to get the new system installed ASAP. The guys that installed the new unit were very polite and professional.     I cant say enough good things about Kalos! Our power bill jumped from $250 to $820 last month. We contacted the power company and they suggested we have the AC looked at. Every time we call, someone answers and is ready to help. We have always had same day service. Every tech is through, polite, knowledgeable, practicing COVID standards and just generally nice people. On Tuesday, Ronnie came out. He listened to us, was empathetic, and tested everything he could. All of our numbers came back just fine. Then he mentioned that there was a dead lizard on the control panel that could possibly be causing the heat strip to be activated. He cleaned up the area and got rid of the lizard.     We had a tune-up 2 months ago with a different company, and when our a/c went out, they wouldnt answer the phone, so I asked my neighbors who they used. Kalos came up time and again. I called them, and the receptionist picked up on the second ring. She was a pleasure to speak with, and quickly scheduled me for a service call that afternoon. Travis showed up, took the cover off the furnace, looked inside, and said that the fan had come loose, and we needed a new one. I was nervous that we were fixing the correct part, since he hadnt even turned on the unit, but he explained what he saw and why he thought this was the fix. Later that day, the fan was delivered, and Travis was by again to install. I held my breath when he turned it on, but lo and behold, it worked!! Not only did he correctly troubleshoot, he was very fast, courteous, and was willing to share his knowledge. I will never use any other company as long as Im in this area, and keep their cards in my purse just in case anyone needs a great HVAC company! Excellent job, excellent service!

    Highly recommend Kalos Services – outstanding performance! We were not sure who to use for our property in Leesburg. Google reviews seemed quite reassuring, all pointing to quality experiences at Kalos. Nathan and Britton arrived on time and immediately went to work installing our 220V connection to our dryer. We can’t say enough about their knowledge, professionalism, “can-do” work ethic, and enthusiasm. Although they worked outside in near record temperature heat, they kept the power and the air conditioner on in our home during the entire installation, shutting the power off for less than five minutes to complete the wiring connections just before completing the job. What was even more impressive is that Nathan said they were able to complete the job at $300 under the estimate. We will definitely use Kalos to meet all our future electrical needs.

    Its never nice to wake up on a Saturday morning to a non-working air conditioner. Quite frankly, its the absolutely worst way to start the weekend. Luckily I had a service contract with Kalos already and I called them and they came out within a few hours, diagnosed the issue, provided a very reasonable quote for repair and then repair the system. It was a bad blower motor, so not the worst thing that could have broken. Kalos always does a great job. They are great troubleshooters. They are there to repair, not there to upsell a new system.     One of our ACs was making a loud noise so I called DelAir that was on my warranty sticker from the builder. I remember filling out a form online to activate the 5 year warranty. Our home is 2.5 years new, so I thought this would be easy. When I called, I was informed I was out of warranty and that the 5 year is only a parts warranty. I would also need to pay a $79 trip charge to diagnose the problem. I agreed and their earliest appointment was 4 days later.When the tech arrived, he told me immediately without even looking that my fan motor on my outdoor unit needed to be replaced. He gave me an estimate of $332 (+$79 trip charge). I asked him if that was parts and labor as the 5 year warranty should cover the motor, he told me that was labor only. I asked him how long did it take to fix it and he told me 20 minutes. I told him they are charging more than a doctor, and told him I would get a second opinion.I called Kalos Services, and explained what was going on. She explained they are also warranty techs for Carrier and she would send someone out in two hours for FREE to diagnose the problem. Within 2 hours, I get a call from the tech saying he is on the way. He went through everything inside and out and told me the fan blade had been hit by a stuco piece when they fixed our stucco. He told me that the alignment being thrown out by the stucco had caused premature wear on the motor, and it needed replacement along with the fan. They had already validated my parts warranty for the fan blade and the motor, so I was given a $220 estimate for labor. This estimate included fixing the problems, and making sure all other maintenance was addressed. I agreed and they came back and fixed it and spent another hour inspecting all the vents and air handlers in my home.I cant believe the difference in the professionalism between these two companies. Tip of my hat to Kalos Services for a job well done!

    Kalos have serviced my A/c system (now 14 years old) for over 5 years. They have always provided a good service at a fair price. Out of the blue, the A/c unit iced up due to a broken fan motor, diagnosed very late afternoon by Kalos on Saturday, July 13, 2019 (reported by my Management Company on the same day). Tim Pearson was outstanding in organising the supply/fitting of a replacement unit on Tuesday early morning, July 16, 2019. I rent my vacation home out and we had guests arriving the next day so Tim also saved me a lost booking and a few sleepless nights! All of their staff (admin, customer service, accounts and operations) are always very helpful, reliable and honest. I will need to get a new A/c unit pretty soon (due to its age) and a Pool Heater (again due to age). Naturally, I will get both from Kalos.

Not knowing who to call of course I hit the internet. I found Kalos and review after review were 5 stars. kept scanning looking for a 4 star, could not find one.Here is why,... I called then at 2:00 PM, and 6:00 PM a service tech came to the house. Quickly diagnosed the problem, and the decision to repair a 13 year old builder grade unit or replace was facing me. I was leaning towards replacement, and within an hour of the decision Dale showed up. Extremely knowledgable , very pleasant, and offered to help with a quote. I thought, wow, these guys are at the top of the game. He said give me 20 minutes, I am going to look at your house and prepare some options for you to look at. Twenty minutes later, we were sitting at the table, and he took the time to educate me about air-conditions, and what all the differences were. No pressure, and told me he would email me what we discussed, call him the next day if I had any questions and they would love my business.I was now understanding the 5 stars, but still a bit leery..but I called Dale back and made the decision to go with Kalos. They even offered to bring over some portable units while I waited for my appointment to come up. I was lucky, they were able to get me in the next day.Installation day - now I know why the 5 stars. Two of the most professional technicians showed up, took most of the day to install. The installation was amazing. I wish all of the contractors I have ever dealt with were 50% as professional as these guys.So, here I am jumping on the 5 star bandwagon... but only because I can not give them a 6 stars.

    Very nice young man, Max, came to deal with my water issues in my furnace. My overflow shut off valve had been jammed and for 2-3 weeks my furnace had been dripping beyond the pan. Standing water inside. Another company came and cleaned the water vent and told me to just let the fan run for 24 hours. There was so much water, it took me almost 2 weeks with towels, fans and AC fan running full time to dry the fiberglass. I was still nervous that there was standing water underneath, (there wasnt) but Max cut out and replaced the Fiberglas foam to make sure. I am so relieved. Thank you Kalos for caring enough to do the job right. Always a client now.

    Three weeks ago out of nowhere, my AC unit stopped blowing cold air in the middle of a Central FL heat wave. With young kids at home, I needed to do something but who is going to answer at 6PM?! I reached out to Kalos in desperation and they were more than happy to send out a technician to take a look. Within two hours, Bert showed up to diagnose the issue. In a short time, it was diagnosed that my Dual Capacitor was damaged but the good news being that he had a replacement on his truck. Within a short time, the part had been replaced and the cold air was flowing. The Technician was Hasty, the customer service big the both the Tech and the dispatcher was second to none and on top of it, my Two year old son followed Bert like a lost puppy, intrigued to the moment he left. The price was very fair and I will 100% use them or recommend them to anyone moving forward. Thank you Kalos for showing that there are still good, honest professionals still in the area!

    Had Dale come out and go over my ductwork issue. Dale and the guys set up a perfect return air ductwork setup. We pretty much cannot even hear the ac system when comes on. Grant arrived with the crew and worked an 11 or so hour day setting up a return air box with a 4” filter that looks great to the eye as well. They weren’t leaving till we had AC going again. I had been doing HVAC for quite a while and just can’t physically do it, but these guys did it just as I would! The estimate process was accurate and very reasonable as well. It’s refreshing to see a company take pride in there work and it shows on my house. We are very happy! They are our AC company .

    I came home from work Thursday night to find the AC not working. Phoned Kalos 8 am Friday morning, Ronnie arrived when scheduled. He discovered a failed compressor, very rare in a 10 month old unit. He, Bert and Kyle M. replaced the unit late Friday afternoon and saved me from a long, hot weekend. They went above and beyond, getting the unit here and turning what would have been a 5 to 6 hr solo job into a 2.5 hr one. Thank you so much for the great service!!!!!!!

    When we bought our home in Clermont last year I wanted a trustworthy A/C company that would not rip me off. I rely heavily on customer reviews to help me make important decisions. Once I saw the excellent reviews for Kalos it was a simple decision, and Im glad I did. The A/C unit we have was on its last leg. The service calls to Kalos resulted in a quick response, and super technicians. The unit finally died on Sunday and I am now buying a complete new Carrier system from Kalos.     I just contacted Kalos last week because my AC HAD STOPPED working due to a leak. They came out last friday and told me my options. 1. They could try to fix it but it wasn’t guaranteed as the leak might happen again. They recommended to replace the whole thing. Saturday Mr Dale came, gave me an offer - extremely good service.Yeaterday new was replaced, i am sitting in Europe and have been informed step by step via e-mail and pictures!Fantastic service - i would recommend this company, and certainly use them again (hope not) bit i will for future maintenance!Thank you

    Have used Kalos for different services. Used the to clean the dryer vent out. Had some electrical work done. Hung drop lights and changed some light switches around.     Great Experience with Kalos Services! Arrived home yesterday to A/C not cooling. Checked what I could check and then called for Service Appt. from Large Name Competitor. No Appts till Thurs (2 Days). Called Kalos next morning and got Appt. time for less than 3 hours. Later I received a call that Tech was available early and they arrived well early of Appt. time. Tyler was courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. Quickly assessed the situation, educated me on the issue and provided options for the repair. Honest talk and honest answers. Also, as part of the diagnostic discovered a little low on refrigerant. Tyler also quickly corrected that situation as well.     These guys are great! We had a different company come out to our Florida home because we had our air conditioner shut off at night. We had 5 continuous night of no AC in this Florida heat with little to no sleep! Top sky air air-conditioning came out and the tech spent hours and hours trying to fix it, climbing through the airducts, replacing random wires, and continuously telling us nothing is wrong with it. He stated he had NEVER heard of air conditioning not working ONLY at night. We gave them multiple chances/days to get it fixed, which for us meant more nights of no AC. A Kalos technician came after our 5th night and the man knew right away what was wrong. To keep this short... Lets just say weve gotten to catch up on alot of sleep! Oh and not to mention that Kalos was here for less than a hour! Came back from SeaWorld and was actually cold for once! Thanks Kalos services!!! We highly recommend them!

    Air conditioner went out on one of our hottest days so far this year on a Saturday night (of course) I called and got their answering service and set an appointment for Sunday....there was a minimal charge for the weekend, serviceman arrived at scheduled time and fixed the problem and also did the regular maintenance needed at that time...which I was going to call for on that Monday.....timing was perfect....they are a great company.     If you are thinking of installing a new A/C system, especially in a place that has not had one before, as our old house didnt, you might want to talk to Kalos about the Mitsubishi ductless Mini Split converter system. They installed ours a few years ago and we love it. It is unobtrusive the way they installed it, and quiet and efficient. Of course, they may recommend something else depending upon your needs, but they stand by their units and their work, as I was recently reminded.You can often tell just as much about a company by how they respond to an unsatisfied customer as you can by how few are unsatisfied. I recently had an issue after a service maintenance visit, and management reached out and asked for a chance to make it right, which they did. I get so used to companies that dont match their words with actions that I just assumed rolling my problem up to management would only result in excuses. Not so in this case.

    I have to say that I have used several AC companies from our area and this one was by far the best. Not only are their prices great but the tech that came out on my weekend call was very knowledgeable and friendly. I tried calling at least 5 other companies before finding out about Kalos Services and Im very happy they actually agreed to come out. I will never have to call anyone else again. I am totally satisfied with this company. They also offer AC filters at their cost which is amazing. I used to purchase mine at the Dollar Store, I will now be getting them directly from Kalos.     I have been working with Kalos Services for quite a while since I needed a mini split unit in my enclosed lanai.Since my lanai was enclosed but coded a 3 instead of a 4 I was required to raise my lanai floor and tile it to bring it up to code.I was not going to do that because of the extra expense. I found out about a product that could be applied to the existing floor that was approved by The Villages. I contacted my salesman and discussed it with him. Technician Jesse Claerbout began searching and submitted several products to the county for approval. After several samples a product was approved to apply to my lanai floor. within a few days Jesse called setup an appointment gave me a quote and a 1 week lead to install and apply the coating to the floor. A permit was issued by the county and a contract was signed.Monday morning both Jessie and another technician arrived and began installing the unit and running all the electrical wiring necessary. Once the unit was up and running they proceeded to apply the coating to the floor. I had also requested them to service my home air conditioning while they were on site. The work was completed professionally and on time.I was so impressed with both technicians that I signed an agreement with Kalos to service the mini split, my home air conditioning and also a new service they provide dryer vent cleaning.     Jason came out and went through my antique AC unit with all sorts of amazing gadgets. That equipment was so accurate. Found out what was going on within 30 minutes. Old Bessie (1985 AC unit) was going to be able to make it through this summer, but then that would be about it. Jason offered a number of solutions (in addition to getting a new system), which was great. But the big thing he told me is that the newer units should reduce my electric bill significantly.
