    We’re extremely pleased with the prompt and professional service from Central Air Heating, Cooling & Plumbing Company. Our water heater had been inconsistent for a few days, and Cody Vance arrived quickly (same day) to inspect and diagnose the issue. He was highly efficient and respectful and took the time to explain multiple options for resolving the problem. Cody thoroughly cleaned and flushed the system, carefully inspected the valves and connections, and provided helpful recommendations. We’re very satisfied with the quality of service and highly recommend this company to anyone experiencing similar issues.

    I was having major drainage problems starting on Friday. Cody came out Friday night to get us back up and running. We had a massive root problem that needed immediate repair and he got it done right away. I love that I can use Central for not just heating and cooling but for Plumbing too!

    Brett was great! He was friendly and explained what he found and how he could fix it for us! He found our installer for our furnace didn’t do it properly and a small leak had started. He fixed it (at no charge!) and made sure to recommend a surge protector as well. We love Heating and Cooling! They are amazing!

    Excellent experience. Tony came out quickly on a Saturday after our furnace had been out a few hours during the night. He ordered a replacement part for us right away and didnt try to upsell us on anything. Pricing was excellent and we signed up for the annual maintenance, which includes 2 yearly cleanings and other discounts. Very happy. Wonderful customer service from the office staff as well.

    Don Wilkinson is a thorough professional at diagnosing and solving my a/c system outage on the hottest day of the year. I was actually able to land same day service with the help of Jody in scheduling. Five full stars. First class business. I will be switching my business to Central Air Inc.

    Weve used Central Air twice this year and the service, from the office to our on site technician, was exceptional both times.Our first appointment was during this summers major heat wave. We called the office on a Saturday and effortlessly got scheduled for an AC maintenance service, and diagnostic on our condensate pump. The maintenance service was detailed and thorough and Brett diagnosed the problem with our pump, gave me reasonable options for repair or replacement, and got the pump replaced for a fair price.Our second appointment was for our fall furnace maintenance. Brett was again our tech, and he performed our service with the same detail and care as the first time. Our house is new to us so we had a few questions about our system. Brett was patient and thorough in answering all of them.These guys are a 1st class outfit. I highly recommend them!

    Our heat pump had stopped working. Rich came out the same day I called, got our gas heat going quickly, and got the heat pump working again shortly after that. He had suggestions for preventing the problem in the future which made sense.

    In addition to the below, just adding that the monthly service has been worth every penny. Just had Michael out to do the annual furnace check - thorough and professional. Ready for winter.Central Air had been out for about a week. I was waiting for my home warranty to send someone but it was taking too long. As such, cut my losses and contacted Central Air - best decision I made. Customer Service was a breeze (pun intended), scheduling could not have been faster, and John, the tech who came to help, was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable - what more can you ask for?? Price was also more than fair.My only regret was not calling sooner.I will be signing up for their membership services as well.

    These guys rock! My technician Seth was right on time, professional and friendly. Even if you didnt understand what happened he explained it clearly and in a way I understood.     Technician Seth Martins responded to a call re our thermostat which malfunctioned causing our furnace inoperable. Seth diagnosed the problem quickly explaining the cause in detail and, in an understandable manner, the required solution. Seth was polite, informative and offered valuable advice on how to maintain our system between scheduled maintenance calls. Truly, one of our better experience with a maintenance call and Central Air would be prudent to place Seth in the keeper category.

    Woke up on Friday to my gas furnace not heating up, very indecisive i started searching online for HVAC companies as i have had very poor experiences with other ones😅, and my first option was this one Central Air Heating, i called and the very nice lady at the office helped me and immediately took matters on my issue, and put me on the board , then later i get a phone from another lady saying that they had me on schedule for a visit! I was so amazed on how quick that was 🥹, the technician Rich showed up on time, he is very knowledgable and took the time to explain to me about my furnace , he checked it, inspected it and fixed it!     It has been 5 years since I did any maintenance to my AC, Seth was the tech that came out and he was professional, friendly and kind. (My son wanted to watch him work who is 4, and he even got my dog that got out of the yard) he explained everything he was going to do and showed me as well and also recommended somethings to help the longevity of the unit.     Matthew was the tech who worked on my AC problem. He phoned me first to let me know he was on his way and arrived on time. He determined the problem was a blown fuse. But rather than stopping there, Matthew went above and beyond what was expected and found the wiring which was causing the electrical short and repaired it. Matthew and Central Air have my sincere, thanks and appreciation! I highly recommend them for service.

    I cant recall why I chose this company to come out and check my HVAC system leak. The gal I spoke to on the phone was very pleasant. Alexander was the tech who came out to our house. He was really friendly and knowledgeable. He didnt try to talk me into services I dont need. He was on time, fixed my immediate problem, and gave me quotes on suggested preventative maintenance for down the road. There isnt anything that a different company could have done better that Im aware of.

    Our AC went out during the 100 degree weather and Central Air was out within 36 hours when all other companies wouldn’t schedule me for minimum 7 days. I will definitely be calling on them for any future troubles. Seth was quick, explained the issues with the unit well, and had us back in AC in no time.

    I received a coupon in the mail to have a tune-up of both the furnace and the A/C for the price of one. I called the office twice to schedule and get some questions answered and then to reschedule. Jody and Valerie were very helpful, friendly, and efficient. I was given a one-hour window for arrival time. I also received a text message reminder the day prior and both an email and text with a tracking link the day of to let me know Kurt was on his way. Kurt arrived with Travis because it was Kurt’s very first day working for Central Air. Both were professional, easy to talk to, and knowledgeable. A very thorough inspection was done, after which Kurt talked to me about his findings and showed me the photos he had taken. I highly recommend Central Air.

Ryan K, who came to check out my old water heater, was professional, friendly, provide options and they have service plans that will save me money.Update 8/23: we have recently bought a house and it requires some maintenance. We contacted Central Air discuss a variety of projects and we’re pleased to get on their calendars in fairly short order! Brett came out and checked our equipment, noting a few things with our A/C and furnace, was honest with its necessity and quoted us the price to address it.     Highly recommend! Had to coordinate my 88 yr old mom’s heater repair from out of state. They were prompt and had fair pricing. You’ll know who is going to arrive (with photo) and get a 15 min advance notice they’re on the way… really important for seniors hesitant to open their door! He quickly identified and resolved a tricky issue with our heat pump - a contractor had been welded in the open position, causing our HVAC to run non-stop upstairs.     Did a gas fireplace tune-up. The Tech was a thorough & friendly guy. Ill use them again in the future for any heating/cooling service....and...I just used them again to install a heat pump to replace my gas furnace.     I wish we had put another unit in for upstairs. We had the damper unit installed less than four years ago and I was quoted $1,800 in additional repairs. Service has been prompt and on time, but the extra cost to repair the damper is frustrating. After this post they reached out to me and covered the repair at no cost.     We reconfigured our main bath changing it to a full bath plus a half bath. Stan installed a shower pan and plumbed water & drain lines for the shower, one toilet and three sinks. He did a great job and Central Airs bid was competitive.     I had an excellent experience with Central Air and Heating from the time of estimate through installation completion. Jeff (estimate) and Sean (installation) and all of the personnel including office staff, electrician and others were professional, friendly, and easy to work with. I had an estimate on Monday for a mini-split, and it was installed on Wednesday! Certainly the fastest I’ve ever had anything like that completed. I highly recommend Central Air and Heating and will continue to call on them whenever needed.

    I shopped around for a service across a variety of gas plumbers in town. Most people gave me dates 2 months out and asked exorbitant price saying that the job is complicated. Central air gave a reasonable quote and was smart at solving the problem. They were able to schedule in a reasonable time too (about 2 weeks). I would highly recommend them.     Lifesavers! My water heater tank ruptured suddenly, right before Christmas.     They werent able to do the work we needed to fix major gas leak issues due to high volume of work they already have committed to, but they waived the inspection fee for us which we were greatly appreciative of. It was sort of a technicality so be advised to ask about that if you need a bid for important work, but still very grateful not to have to have insult added to injury (inspector failed to notify us of huge gas leak issue after buying our first home).

    We are very impressed with Central Air and their employees. They installed our system just over 5 years ago. Its been great, but we recently had our thermostat fail and it was just out of warranty. The manufacturer was not helpful, but Central Air did an amazing job and took it upon themselves to remedy the problem. Their service manager Dan was professional and responsive. He literally had his people out within 24 hours to remedy the issue. Their office staff was very nice and the tech that came out to do the work was just as good. We would recommend them and we will continue to work with them to do all our service and maintenance.

    I was so impressed with my contractor, Justin! I had a mini split that was leaking water, he showed up and took a look at it and found a problem that was not going to be traditionally fixed.     We have a sewage pump in our basement, which failed us mid-day on a Saturday. This left the basement occupant unable to use any sink or the toilet. I went to Yelp to find a plumber. There was only one response over the weekend, from a company we didnt use. Monday Central Air Heating, Cooling & Plumbing contacted us. Their plumber came out in late morning, made a run for parts, came back and installed the pump. To that point everything was fine. Everything would be better than fine by the end of this review. Please continue reading. When it came time to test the pump the plumber found out the hard way that a coupler was loose, and he told me that he forgot to torque down the bolts. That caused grey water from the sewage pump to spray about the area. Unfortunately for the plumber, he took the brunt of the spray, which saved our food pantry almost completely. My wife, son and I spent quite a bit of time finding and cleaning what needed. I asked the plumber if there was anything his company could do to make up for the honest accident, and he talked with his boss about it. I spoke with the manager today, stating that nothing of value got permanently damaged, and I asked for a specific amount of money off the price for our inconvenience. To my surprise, the manager pretty much double what Id asked for.Some things went incredibly well here. 1, its VERY obvious that Central Air Heating, Cooling & Plumbing stands behind their work, and thats my biggest concern when hiring a contractor. This company aced the test. 2, The plumber himself had the integrity to say that he overlooked tightening the bolts. He even put that on a report to his boss. Integrity test aced. 3, The work itself turned out great. 4, They came out on the first business day after the pump failed.

    We used Central Air for our AC installation and our tankless gas water heater. Each team that came out for AC, electrical and gas was professional and prompt. The AC crew clearly explained at the end all the functions and how to use it. The office was able to schedule our appointments quickly and we appreciated that.I appreciated that Tim, the person who did our gas line install laid down protective covers on our floor so as to not scratch our floors/get them dirty when going back and forth between inside and outside. The other three crews did not do this and only a handful of the technicians wore the shoe coverings. Id prefer for a company to have consistency on things such as that.Our final city inspection had to be rescheduled and because there was not notification given to us, we were not home. Danielle quickly got us rescheduled but I was the one to contact them about it.Overall, though we were happy with the service and will continue to keep using them for our AC needs. Our devices are up and running and seem to be working efficiently.

But our furnace is in such an awkward, crowded closet that it took both Tommy and Dan to manipulate the old blower out and the new one in around our water heater.Service was efficient, super friendly, and well-worth the cost.I also signed up for their annual maintenance plan which seemed like a no-brainer; two annual maintenance/inspection visits for basically the price of a single service-call fee, but you also get 15% off service and priority scheduling?     Our salesman showed up on time with a mask and shoe covers, he was friendly and professional while explaining our options and addressing the extra merv 13 filter I wanted.... he was wonderful to meet and to work with... now, the installers... Austin and Dennis... were both here on time, they did their work in and under our house in a friendly and efficient manner, I asked a lot of questions and dennis answered them all... they explained the operation of my nest thermostat and left me feeling I would not blow anything up (for a while, anyway)... I would strongly suggest any one thinking about a heat pump to at least consider giving these guys a call, getting Austin and Dennis to do the work would be a bonus...

    I worked directly with Andrew, the Owner, for purchase, quoting, and mockups. I worked with Tim and his team for installation. Tim and his team were professional and efficient. We had a couple hiccups just because of the design of the house, but they were responsive, explained the situation, and presented a couple different options to choose from on how best to proceed, particularly when it came to the HVAC installation outside. They were thorough in their installation and clean-up, and worked swiftly and without unnecessary delay. Ultimately, the furnace and HVAC installation took two days but that is more of a reflection of the amount of work to be done rather than any issues with the installation itself. The unit works like a charm and I am very satisfied both with Andrew and his company and Tim and his service team.

    The faucet that was provided by the homeowner from the warehouse was installed but defective.The Plumber determined what was wrong, called the warehouse and set up a will-call pick-up for me to exchange the defective sensor for one that worked. Turns out my water heater was so old it made no sense to repair it and it was time for a new one. Oh great, I thought... Gunna be a few more days...nope! Zach, the guy who took the job, was on top of it and wanted to make sure I could take a hot shower tonight. He left to go get a brand new unit, showed back up to unload the new one and darn it.... The manufacturer sent them a banged up item! He wouldnt have it, and went to get another one so he knew I was getting a good product. I appreciate that he valued doing a good job so highly. Took the time to teach me all about my new water heater, and left after going above and beyond. Plus he just seemed like an awesome guy. Karissa, the awesome lady who helped get someone to me so fast this morning was lovely as well. I truly didnt expect that from phone call to install would only take hours, but this team was on top of the ball! Highly recommend them!

Zach came out on Christmas Eve(!) did a thorough inspection of everything, answered all of my many questions with patience & kindness, helped me understand the root cause of the problem and explained the needed repairs.     Everyone from the first phone call to the final walk through was professional, courteous and extremely helpful. Scheduling and call backs were prompt and friendly, and everyone showed up exactly on time we received, via text, updates on times and names of who be arriving which is greatly appreciated. The best part is they arrived ready to work. Our questions were answered and the entire process from tear out of old furnace and AC, to installation of new Furnace and AC was explained. Matthew and Cameron were top notch project/team managers every step. They promised us all would be done in a day and a half, and sure enough, it was done with no big disruption to our household.     I was helped by Ryan, and another gentleman, sadly I don’t remember his name. They were both SO great. Personal but straight to the job, I had a couple issues in different areas of my townhouse. It felt like it took a few seconds for them to diagnose the issues. They answered all my questions, even my weird hypothetical ones. They sat me with several options to fix, all they could do immediately. They really made it very like a independent decision while also making me feel well informed about all the scenarios.Once they started service, they were so professional, clean, fast, and Sullivan’s.     We were extremely pleased with our furnace and a/c installations process with Central Air. Steve Guasco, our salesman and coordinator was excellent. We felt that he looked out for our best interest and was especially patient with all of our questions. He made informed decisions about the best system for our house and followed the job through to the end. He also made sure things were beyond satisfactory and that the process went smoothly. Jeremiah, our installer, conveyed a confidence to us throughout the total installation job and proved he really knows the trade well. He worked hard to make sure things were done correctly and efficiently. He also made sure we were informed as he progressed through the job. Danielle, the office manager helped provide convenient scheduling for installations and inspections. She provided the information necessary and handled the rebates and tax credits. Central Air is a great company to work with! Our next step will be to continue with them for our service and maintenance needs, while we enjoy the new equipment!

    This company is the only company that returned my phone call and had a reasonable turn time for getting out a technician during this heat wave in Oregon. My technician that came out was named Justin and he was hands-down the most professional, hard worker, kind, and thorough person I’ve ever worked with as a contractor. I will use this company forever please do so yourselves!*** UPDATE ***They have already come to install a brand new furnace, air conditioner, and hot water heater. That’s a shorter wait time then calling other businesses and waiting for them to just come out to repair. Sean, is wonderful to work with and all of the installers today have been wonderful!

    Ive reached out to these folks originally to install an AC back in 2021 after reading great reviews. AC was already plumbed for the house but we wanted to install a unit in anticipation of the crazy hot PNW weather during that summer. The folks were very timely with scheduling with great updates as the appointment came close. The people who installed were professional and did a pretty good job. There was a small oversight (believe the power was routed incorrectly), but the folks addressed in a follow-up appointment very quickly. They also helped with a smart thermostat installation at that time as well. Been having no issues with the AC since then and I even got a complementary HVAC inspection the following year! Again, great customer service all around.I didnt realize that this same company also did plumbing. I reached out to them once again notifying them of a running toilet which the plumber Stan was able to figure out was due to a degraded seal ring. Unfortunately Jacuzzi has stopped producing toilets recently and we could not find the parts. The only option was to replace the toilet. Stan told me he could do it that same day (!) if I provided him with the new toilet. Ran to my local HD, picked out my toilet, and Stan installed it. To add to this, we had a bidet seat that weve been wanting to install as well and had issues doing so due to tight bathroom space (the only option being to pull the toilet out and install the seat along with the toilet). Stan was able to include the bidet installation with the initial quoted price! He did this and the toilet installation all in 1 hr, on the same day, and was courteous/respectful and provided great updates throughout the whole process. Clean up was great and he helped dispose of the old toilet. Thank you so much Stan!So with that, I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for HVAC or plumbing needs! Ive always had a wonderful, prompt response and you can tell customer service is one of their most important values!

    Been using Central Air since we moved into our house a few years ago and they are always great. Justin, the technician, is wonderful. Answered our questions, gave some extra info about our furnace and ways to utilize it best and was also super sweet to our very chatty toddler (extra points for that, always). Everyone in the office is always great to work with. LOVE Central Airs communication on the whole. They send a reminder email about your appointment, text you to let you know when your tech is coming and send a picture of the tech so you know who to expect. Only good things to say about Central Air.

    After finding a leaking pipe under the house, I called and received the quickest response out of 3 plumbing companies. Cody Vance and Zack not only fixed the leak, but repaired other faulty areas. I have had them out several times due to the aging fragile pipes and I am very impressed with their expertise and professionalism. The ladies scheduling the crews are also to be commended.     I recently had Central Air Inc. rework some duct work and the gas line in a basement of a house I own so I could finish off the space. It is a challenge like so many places around has low ceilings and the existing duct work was haphazardly run through the space making it difficult to finish and make the space nice.I couldnt be more pleased with the out come working with Central Air from Chris the salesman who was very helpful providing his input and expertise, to Dennis and Austin the Installers who went out of their way to creatively figure out how to get from point to point with the least amount of impact on the space I wanted to finish.Chris gave me an estimate but suggested they work on an hourly basis to get the best results for both parties which I agreed to. The guys worked fast and efficiently, got to the house early, stayed way late to get the job done instead of making another trip. Their workmanship was top shelf and they left the place neat and clean.The office staff also was courteous, friendly and professional. My old furnace was small, so they had to custom fabricate the intake and outtake leads, and how my new system was situated in my garage.
