    We purchased a mini-split HVAC system and gas furnace from Ultimate Comfort about 5 years ago for our 95 year old home. It has been a great solution for our needs and really improved our quality of life in an age of global warming. We purchased a new water heater last year as well. We have their technicians out yearly to check and maintain everything. The employees have all been great to work with and speak very highly of the company and its ownership. We have referred several friends and family members to Ultimate Comfort as well. This is a company that treats its customers and employees well and it shows.

    I’m happy with the entire process of explaining what needs to be done and the best options for my heating/cooling comfort. I love the payment method of 18 months to pay it off with no interest fees. This summer is more comfortable with air conditioning from my new heat pump.     Our heat pump went out (during a recent heatwave of course), so I called our HVAC company Ultimate Comfort.We found Ultimate Comfort through my MIL and SIL, who had both utilized their services & spoke very highly of them.Ralph, the owner - promptly came out with Kevin and they got right to work on the problem. It turned out to be a BIG problem that was still under warrantee, so they handled the hassle of dealing with the heat pump manufacturer & ordered us a new one ensuring that we were soon back in business with a brand new Heat pump installed. I can’t say enough good things about Ralph and all of the technicians that he hires. They are all pleasant, professional and just good people. I’d recommend them to anyone looking for a HVAC company that they can trust to be there when you need them.

    Theyve been able to help me on the hottest and coldest days of the year when the ac or furnace decides to go out. I’ve learned to schedule maintenance to avoid those emergencies now. Despite all of that the emergency technician helped me this winter when we went below 20 degrees and a line that drained condensation to the outside froze. He was able to troubleshoot over the phone get the furnace going and saved the day.

    I LOVE Ultimate Comfort. I purchased my AC split from them years ago & have continued to find them so helpful & kind & honest about what maintenance I need and don’t need. They always provide great service and my latest appt with my tech, Max, was no different! He did an excellent, efficient job servicing and cleaning my split & helped me troubleshoot a couple minor issues. He was professional & friendly.     Ultimate Comfort is a top tier HVAC contracting company. I cannot say enough good things about their attentiveness, professionalism, promptness, and skills. The true test of any contractor, or service provider of any kind is how they address problems. Ultimate Comfort went way above and beyond the call of duty to help me sort out a significant set of issues (none of which were caused by their work). Cody, the technician who has worked with us is awesome. And, Kevin the manager is also wonderful, as are the office staff. Look no further for your HVAC needs than Ultimate Comfort.     After my old furnace stopped working, I called Ultimate Comfort for an estimate on a new furnace. Their man came promptly the next morning to explain my options. I chose a high efficiency gas furnace. The next day, their crew came out, removed my old furnace and installed the replacement, very efficiently. They are easy to work with and fairly priced. Recommended.

    Ralph and his team provided an outstanding service with swapping our 30-years old downdraft oven for a new downdraft model. The solution involved redoing some of the air ducts, making a new entry point, adjusting wiring to accommodate a new four-prong plug, and even doing some creative counters adjustment to make the new larger oven fit. The entire time the team was responsive, courteous and very communicative, updating us every step of the way. Thank you for excellent service!

    Ultimate Comfort did an HVAC replacement installing a new furnace in my home. My furnace is located in the attic, so this was not an easy removal or install. I must say these folks know their business, very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous.     I always do lots of research when doing projects in my home. I had 4 excellent bids for replacement of our heading and AC systems, and Ultimate Comfort won out. Ralph has tons of experience and I like the fact that he is a small(ish) family owned company. I especially liked the price he gave. We were not disappointed, we were elated! The work was done within 5 weeks of the estimate and took less than 2 days to break down our very old system and install the new, much more efficient furnace and AC units. They were prompt, clean, courteous and definitely knew what they were doing. I would recommend Ultimate Comfort highly (and already have).

    Was able to have a technician out to my house day after I called was amazing. The technician, Cody returned the next day with everything needed to fix my A/C unit. Only took him 2 hours.     Another great experience with Ultimate Comfort, the company who did the installation on our water heater and furnace. Just had them out for annual tune-up, and their technician, Derek, did an excellent job. We were given an appointment window of 12-2, and he showed up at the very early end of that window.     After suffering for 2 years with a defective heat pump/ install from a start-up rival HVAC outfit, Ultimate Comfort came to our rescue in a big way. Happily, the manufacturer stood behind their warranty & thanks to UCs crack team, we finally have a newly installed unit that is performing far beyond our expectations. Ultimate Comfort values are listed on their home page and in my experience, the company lives by these words; a healthy focus on customer service & quality work was clearly shown by each/ every employee we met throughout our project. The initial goal may have been to simply obtain a functioning heat pump, but we couldnt be more ecstatic about the higher-than-ever level of comfort that we now enjoy throughout our 2-story home.     Ultimate comfort installed a new furnace for me this year and Ive been nothing but happy with the furnace and company. Recently I noticed my furnace refusing to cycle out of standby. I tried everything I could think of to no avail. It was after hours so I left a message on the emergency line. Ralph got back to me in less than an hour. He was able to walk me through what the problem probably was and how to fix it. It turns out with the unusually cold weather that my condensate pump wasnt working. A small section froze over in the tubing and was blocking the output. I was able to thaw the blockage and it resumed working. They really went above and beyond helping me troubleshoot. With the busy time of year it could have taken days or weeks for someone to come out. Great customer service!

    We always use Ultimate comfort for all of our HVAC work. Last year we had them install a gas fireplace insert and we absolutely love it!!This year they installed a Mini split heater/ac to a room that is tough to regulate.     Ultimate Comfort replaced our old gas furnace with an energy efficient Rheam furnace. They were easy and professional to work with. John their estimator came to our home and took photos of our old system and calculated our heating load. He showed us a number of furnaces and helped us decide one that fit our needs. Deyby and his assistant arrived promptly and installed our new furnace. They were professional and thorough. Because our installation was a little more complicated and I asked for some changes Deyby stayed until after 7 PM to make sure the work was completed. Kevin made sure that we were happy with the installation and explained how the new filter system worked. He scheduled the county inspector to fit our schedule.     We had a great experience with Ralph and Dave, and highly recommend Ultimate Comfort. After a week of 90+ degree weather we decided to get an HVAC unit for our AC-ready home. In an effort to get it as speedily installed as possible, Ralph was enormously helpful over the phone and was able to come out for an estimate and then install two days later - on the Fourth of July. Yeah, these guys are awesome! They had it done in about 3 hours and it looks great and feels wonderful. We had many estimates done, and Ultimate Comfort was about half of what some of the other guys are charging. Overall, excellent. Thank you!

    These guys are the best! My Mom lost heat from her furnace. I talked to Ralph and they were there the same day. Inspected everything. Sold her a better furnace, saved her money, fixed all the air vent registers that she was loosing heat before. I cannot tell you how professional this company is. Great employees. They even like to hire young hard working people. They made Mom feel comfortable when in her house. They were polite and well spoken and provided her with all the information. Kept her updated on everything they did. The price was great! They really take customer service to the next level. If you want a solid company call and use these guys first!!!!!!!!!

    We called Ultimate Comfort to perform some a regular furnace maintenance at our house. Our furnace is in the crawlspace (not the easiest place to work), but the tech did a great job servicing the furnace.As the tech was finishing the job, she bumped into water pipe stub and it snapped off. (This copper pipe was previously scored in some sketchy repair job and it snapped clean off). The technician called the office and the company owners came out the same day to repair the pipe at no cost to us. The level of service was above and beyond; the owner and the manager that came to fix the pipe were extremely friendly and got the job done quickly.Their office staff is always responsive and their techs are personable and get the job done in a timely fashion. I will definitely call Ultimate Comfort again for my HVAC needs.

    May 2,2020, Jack Allee, foreman and his crew Deyby & Julian did a fantastic job installing a 50 Gallon Rheem water heater in a very tight space. The job took 4.5 hours of constant work by this crew. My husband and I were there and applaud them for a job well done! I balked about the price a bit but after witnessing the install, my husband and I could see with Ultimate Comfort your getting quality & expertise work so it was well worth it!!     Im very happy with my new heater! Both the comfort of the heater and the aesthetics of the registers. The Ultimate Comfort team did a great job of installing and I know that their expertise is at the top level. Friendly and courteous team as well.Only thing that kept me from giving them a 5 is that I was surprised by a separate bill from an electrician after Id already paid the invoice from Ultimate. The electrical bill also had a questionable line item.This would not stop me from recommending Ultimate, just be wary of the electrical component.

    It had been quite a while since we had our older furnace inspected for any issues. We werent having any problems but just thought its a good idea for prevention. I called in the morning and was able to get an appointment the next day which was great. But shortly after, I got a call back from them that they now had an opening that day and the tech was nearby, so we took it. He called us when about 15 minutes out to let us know hed be here soon. Did a very thorough job of inspecting all parts as well as testing and cleaning. He did find one part (igniter) that was going bad. He replaced it, after showing us the concern on the old part. Did a great job and the pricing was reasonable. Very respectful of Covid safety. Will definitely have them back late spring to do the same on our older air conditioner.

    These guys have done a great job. We had an older heat pump which started acting up earlier this summer. They were quite knowledgeable, got it up and going same day and didnt cost a fortune. Unfortunately that unit did eventually crap out on us, but they installed a new unit for a very reasonable cost. That new unit was installed in about half a day, is very efficient compared to the outgoing, and has so far been perfect. They also warrantied the work for a year on top of the 5 year parts warranty. Very happy.

    Ralph installed new gas lines and a furnace plus new gas line to the fireplace for a fireplace insert.Ralph was awesome and very professional.  I am so thrilled with the work he did and the project was done so quickly which was nice since I didnt have heat in the house at all and he got it all installed in time for the cold spell.Im remodeling this house and have met a lot of contractors but I can say that Ralph is the best contractor I have ever worked with.  I felt so comfortable, I just give him the key to the house so he could come in and work when I was at work and I never worried once.Ralph will be the only one I will work with from here on out to do furnace tune-up or anything else with the heating/cooling that needs to be done.

    You guys are hero’s! (A/C hero) I had the misfortune of my A/C going out again on the 1st hot day of the season. I knew ultimate Comfort must be beyond busy, however, I was treated as if I were a VIP. The unit is repaired and it took 2 trips and a part, but thankfully just before the 116 degree days. I will suggest they send out reminders to anyone and everyone to keep up on the maintenance and check the A/C BEFORE it’s really needed.     We had our HVAC installed in January during very cold and snowy weather about the time that everybody else who didnt have an HVAC was trying to get one as well. Ralph and the crew clearly had a lot to juggle trying to meet the needs of many cold houses. I was very impressed about how well they all did. First of all every single person I spoke to was friendly and helpful. The install guys were respectful of the house and extremely efficient. Ralph took the time to make sure we were happy every step of the way. He even came out and cut back some trees and later moved the unit to a block to help reduce some noise issues we were having. The units themselves work well, and we were just recently given a reminder that it was time for our maintenance call which was included in the original price. I chose UC because it was the best price, and I would recommend them based on that and their service and personability.

    Amazing is the word I would use for Ultimate Comfort. We are an old customer of thiers, and had come across an issue of no hot water.     Update: I received a call from them and they ordered me a replacement filter (so Im revising my star rating accordingly). Im satisfied with getting a replacement, though I wish I still had the used filters in case we have more issues with wildfires later this summer.Previous review:I use Filtrete air filters in my home with a Bluetooth sensor which monitors air flow and tells me remaining filter life. After my service appointment with Ultimate Comfort, the Filtrete app tells me that it hasnt connected to the filter in over 8 days. I thought that was weird since it had (the last time I checked) half of its filtering life available. So I opened the panel on my furnace to give it a clearer connection path to my phone. I was shocked to find that my expensive filter was removed by Ultimate Comforts tech. In its place was an old, USED filter that I had been keeping for emergency backups.During the wildfires in our area late last year, I bought several cheap filters to attach to box fans and use as make-shift air purifiers. After the air cleared, I stacked several of them to the side, next to my furnace, just in case. It was one of these filters that the technician installed. On top of that, he took all the rest of my backup filters. In a best-case scenario, he may have thought he was doing me a favor and disposing of them. In a worst-case scenario, he may be using them in other peoples homes.I called their office to explain what happened and ask what they can do to get me a replacement filter. Instead of hearing a pleasant tone saying lets see what we can do to make this right, I felt like I became the subject of an interrogation. She asked me whether I had specific discussions with the tech about not replacing my expensive filter. Or if I had explicitly told him to leave it alone. It didnt occur to me that conversation should be needed for someone who does this for a living (see below). It was obvious that the questions were worded specifically to avoid overtly telling me it was my fault for not giving specific instructions to the tech. Ive worked in customer service for over 25 years. I understand the concept of framing conversations from a plausible deniability perspective since I also spent several years doing quality reviews for customer interactions. Lets be real, it wouldnt take a genius to read into her tone and conclude that she was assigning blame to the customer.For someone whos a professional HVAC technician, I expect that he shouldve recognized what he was doing. Specifically, he should have:1. Recognized that this was a high-end 3M filter.2. Seen that the filter he was removing had a better filtration rating than the one he was installing.3. Noticed that the filter he was installing was unwrapped, and therefore likely used.4. Not made any assumptions about the stack of filters and not taken them away without telling me he did so.Reputable auto mechanics give you your old parts back when they perform a service to prove that they arent swindling you. I dont expect any professional service technician, in any industry, to secretly take old parts away (for disposal or reuse).After my unpleasant call to their office, I was told she would have to check in with their team to see what they can do for me. Its now been 11 days without a call back and Im beyond aggravated. Ive now lost $50 in filters on top of spending over $200 with them for service. At this point, I doubt they care enough about their customers to make things right and Ill have to order yet another new filter (as well as find another company to do my next HVAC service).

Ralph Shafer came to our house inspected our system and evaluated our needs. He then gave us several options and explained their cost/benefit profiles. We compared the Ultimate quote to two other quotes and it was the least expensive especially when you factored in the free filter and first year maintenance.     From the first encounter to questions after installation, Ultimate Comfort has been a pleasure to work with. They worked quickly to replace my heater when it went out, took the time to explain everything, walked the property with me to make sure the unit went were I wanted it, responded quickly to my questions and showed up on time. They even built a custom return vent in my built-in bookshelf so I could easily change the filter with my back problems. Im having them back to quote for two rental units, so Id say Id definitely use them again.

    Ralph responded to my phone call during an emergency when no one else would even answer their phone. He was so nice and really knew what he was doing. He had the furnace working in less than 24 hours on the weekend during the ice storm. Thank you so much!

    Ultimate Comfort for the win....seriously. Our 30 year old furnace decided to end its life 2 weeks before I was scheduled to have a baby. Fun times 😑 We had actually been working with another HVAC company who informed us the product we wanted was backordered and they wouldnt be able to accommodate us any time soon. Got in touch with John who came out to give me a quote just 30 minutes after I gave them a call. They were able to replace my furnace in a week when others were booked out by months. THANK YOU UC team for such awesome (and quick) service...its one less thing I have to worry about before this baby is born.

    Our original 20+ yr old furnace went haywire this February. One call to Ultimate Comfort and a new high efficiency furnace was installed...works great! Ralph and his team are wonderful to work with...they know what they are doing, clean and tidy as they work. I highly recommend them for your heating cooling needs.
