I called Steigerwald because my other septic company was busy. I am so relieved that I called them! Both Michael and Jeffrey were phenomenal, they took their time on the job and Michael was very thorough with checking our yard and explaining what we needed for the issues that we had been having for almost two years. Michael identified an issue that should have rectified by our previous septic company. I am so thankful that I called them and they took care of the problem that we had been dealing with for close to two years. I would recommend them to everyone and because of their great service and kind spirits, we are switching to Steigerwald and making them our permanent septic company!!!!!

Called on New Year’s Day. Michael and his coworker, Jeffrey, made it to our home in about an hour and saved us from a potential huge problem. From the receptionist who received my call, to Michael, who cleaned out our system. Michael was extremely polite, professional, and efficient. We have used Steigerwald Septic and Sewer Service on the advice of friends ever since we moved to Geauga County. Friends gave us great advice! Always reliable, courteous, they have responded promptly when we have had an emergency. Michael came out today for our regular servicing of septic tanks and leach lines, he is friendly and efficient, hardly knew he was here while he was working. Michael is very professional and personable. We highly recommend this provider.

I use Steigerwald for routine septic maintenance and would typically give them 5 stars for their all-around business practice however today, if I could, I would rate them higher. I was on the schedule for maintenance but had an emergency blockage that resulted in an ugly overflow. From scheduling to hands on interaction, the issue was taken care of within two hours! I could not recommend Steigerwald Septic and Sewer more.

After a heavy rain our septic system backed up into our basement. This happened at 9pm on a Saturday night. Our regular septic company was closed for the weekend. We tried several other companies and left messages. Then we called Steigerwald Septic and a recording gave us an emergency number. We called and spoke with Michael Steigerwald around 10pm. Michael and a colleague came out on Sunday morning at 9AM and pumped out the tank and they were able to assess why this happened and what our options were for a longer term solution. He said if we had called around 5pm, he would have come out that night. We couldnt be more pleased with the level of response and quality of service. We highly recommend this company.

I had an emergency during the evening and called several emergency septic services. Only Steigerwald called me back. They talked me through diagnosis of the problem and even described some ways I could potentially solve the problem myself. While they couldnt come out that evening, they were there the next morning and stayed until they were able to restore my service. They earned ongoing business from me as well as my recommendation.

I have lived in my Geauga county home for over 7 years and I LOVE working with these guys. They are kind, informative and reasonably priced. Its very rare to find a company that actually cares about your situation. Being without a septic is a very stressful thing and they help you through it in a very timely manner. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!!

What great folks. They responded within 24 hrs for a cleaning. John called me at work and texted embellished photos to describe the septic system. He recommended 2 year pump outs and offered to come by after my work day to make sure I understood the system (my first septic). Raoul cam by and explained the leach fields, the tanks, the pump station. He was exceedingly friendly and answered my dozens of rookie questions thoroughly and patiently. Anytime I have a issue I’ll surely call them.

Purchased a home in Chardon while living out of state. Realtor suggested having a pre-inspection done. I contacted Steigerwald Septic. They were out the next day and found issues in the septic lines as well as water in the crawl space due to gutters and down spouts.Both items were corrected. I give them five stars for professionalism, knowledge, promptness and cost.This made made my out of state move a lot less stressful.
