Scheduling the appointment was easy (thanks Gail!) and the technicians were able to come out the next week to replace an exhaust fan in our bathroom. I received a text message when the technicians were on the way which included the name and photo of who would be arriving. The two gentleman were extremely pleasant and professional. They provided a quote for the work and were able to complete the replacement the same day. Definitely would use this business again and we highly recommend their services.

The front office went out of their way to schedule my appointment around my schedule. I really appreciate that! Leo did a great job correcting some mistakes if a previous contractor. He installed two new fans for me and put them on a separate switch from the lights. He also did a thorough inspection of all outlets. Leo had great attention to detail and cleaned up all the mess from the job. I am very pleased with the results.

I had these electricians come twice to my house. The first time they upgraded multiple ceiling fans and light fixtures throughout the home. They returned to actually fix some work of a contractor who cut the electricity to the ceiling lights in the kitchen. They troubleshot the problem with incredible thoroughness and care. I was happy to see my lights working again. They even helped me find replacement can lights for the kitchen to modernize it, and told me what items I would need to do some of the work myself. Overall, very satisfied!

Leo came out to service our home, and he was very quick, efficient, and professional. The cost was a little much for me (I don’t make much), but I appreciated his thoroughness. He repaired the outlet upstairs and the light downstairs in less than thirty minutes!Update: the outlet he fixed went out within a few weeks. So I’m not gonna stick with the five stars since it didn’t fix the problem permanently.

I was very impressed with the professional knowledge and how well Stephen listened to my needs and communicated options. I give him and the team my highest recommendation. Watching him complete the work, I have to add creative problem solving to my earlier description. Making changes in older construction almost always uncovers some unforeseen situation. It is all the more valuable to have someone with Stephen’s experience and creative problem solving. I have already shared his contact with a family member living nearby, and I plan to call on him for my future electrical needs.

Mr. Sparky has completed three projects for us and every single interaction, from the dispatch to the service people who show up at the house, have been customer service oriented. Yes, they charge for their service—but once they been hired, their priority is making sure your needs are met quickly and permanently—no matter how long it takes or how much effort they need to expend to meet the expectations of the scope of work. And the first electrician they send out has enough expertise—no need to reschedule for a manager to come back to diagnose a problem that the first guy they send can’t figure out because it’s not a common issue. They are the living example of you get what you pay for.

Last night, a finicky, 27 year old GFI had finally given out, which was in the same circuit as my garage door opener and my tankless hot water heater. I called Mr. Sparky because they were local, and had impressive reviews. Rivers called me back shortly after speaking to dispatch, and while there was no one to come do the work at that time, he assured me that a tech would be at my house between 8 and 11 am the next day (today).Using the process of elimination, I had narrowed it down to the GFI, which had been giving me problems earlier in the week with a motion detector floodlight installation on my back porch. Once John and Dale arrived, I shared the sequence of events, what had gone out, what I had tried (throwing switches, etc.), also that my house had been powerwashed that day, and they tested the outlets on the back porch and in the front of the house, only to find they were all on the same line. They also discovered that the GFI installed with my Rennai was battling for power (literally) with the older GFI.Dale replaced the problem GFI, and I also had John install a whole-house surge protector (I was going to get one installed anyway). Now I have hot water (I could only avoid washing dishes for so long), can open the garage door, and this evening I will make sure my floodlights work.I would definitely hire Mr. Sparky again (ya gotta love that name!), and John and Dale were nice fellows, professional and explained everything to me, which is much appreciated!

Patiently answered my many questions and went over in detail all the work that was done - even uncovered and fixed an unrelated problem while here . Mister Sparky will not invoice for the final payment until AFTER the city inspection and sign off. Courteous, knowledgable and left the workspace cleaner than when they got here. Can’t ask for better than that!

This was my first time using Mr. Sparky. The electrician they sent out, Stephen Phillips, was very professional and thorough. We had an outdoor ground fault outlet which kept tripping for no apparent reason. He quickly troubleshooted the problem and made the necessary repairs. He was very knowledgeable and communicated in terms which the average homeowner could easily understand. The bill was very reasonable and I would definitely use Mr. Sparky again. The team from Mr Sparky (Stephen and Dale) quickly identified and remedied issues with a haunted outlet (hall lights only worked if we plugged a wall wart into the outlet) and a pendant light junction box that fell out of my kitchen ceiling. They were knowledgeable, pleasant, put up with lots of questions from me, worked neatly and cleaned up the minimal mess from fixing the pendant light problem (double thickness of drywall, overtightened screws, broken anchor wings). They also did a safety check of the GFI switches (explaining how a tripped switch in an upstairs bathroom disabled my porch light!) and identified an outdoor panel that wasnt adequately secured to the siding. In a nice touch, the company sent an introductory email with a picture for the lead electrician (Stephen). It was a good experience all around, and Id use them again in a heartbeat!

The call responder Tina was very helpful when my outlet was tripped. She gave me instructions to troubleshoot prior to having a service call come over to fix it to ensure it was an electrical issue. Stephen and his partner was very helpful and knowledgable on fixing my electrical issues. It was a quick and professional repair with the courtesy safety electrical inspection of my home. Will definitely call them back if I have any more electrical issues and I recommend them for their professional and courteous service.

I submitted a request mid-morning for repair/replacement of a chirping smoke detector, as well as all of the other smoke detectors in the house. I also had a couple of light switches/fixtures that were not working. The technicians came out within less than an hour. They were extremely friendly, but very professional. They assessed the repairs needed, gave me a quote and replaced 7 smoke detectors and repaired the light switches and fixtures and I was back to work within an hour and a half. Highly recommend!!

We hired them to install a fan about a year ago. After the install they realized the fan was defective. After we got a replacement from the fan company, mister sparky came back and installed the replacement at no extra charge. The service really was above and beyond! First, they arrived exactly when scheduled. They did a thorough initial safety inspection and found and repaired a cable that had been chewed by a squirrel. They did a very good job of replacing our very old dimmer switches and made sure the were set up properly. It seemed a bit expensive but worth it to know the job was done right. Highly recommended.

We had Mister Sparky come out for a 2nd opinion after another electrician charged us $100 to come out, investigate the problem, and tell us we needed to pay another $500+ for further diagnostics (which wouldn’t cover any needed repairs). The prospect was raised of possibly needing to rewire the whole house. When Stephen & Dale of Mister Sparky came out, they identified and fixed the problem (quickly, professionally and pleasantly) for less than $300, total. No “whole house rewiring” required; just needed to replace a broken light switch and blown receptacle. We definitely, and highly, recommend both the Company and the technicians. We will go to them first from now on.

Professional, Affordable, Safe service!!!! I had 2 pendant lights and 3 ceiling fans to install! They came in and provided a quote and then were prepared to install everything! They wore masks, gloves, and shoe coverings. They even cleaned up everything! I needed an attic fan replaced--pretty sure it was dead after 10 years at least of service. So to hear that some company I called was saying $183 just to come and look at my situation.... No. $39 sounds better. I ended up paying much more for the fan itself (they are quite large), but I felt like the guys did an honest job assessing the situation, explaining to me the costs before they pursued locating the fan and putting it in and connecting. All went smoothly. I appreciated and chose them because of being able to call a person and not fill out some form online--in fact my problem wasnt even listed on these forms--so it was good to talk with someone knowledgeable and nice, and then have capable guys Alec Bouchard and helper do the job. I would recommend them.Update later on: Sadly when I had the roof replaced, all the estimators told me this was not a new fan unit. I had thought it was--it cost plenty $453 to be exact. So this was interesting and disappointing. And how would I know? Am I going up on the roof to see what they are doing?

He just installed a transfer switch for us that we can use with the new portable generator we just got. The most impressive thing I can report is how they work for 2 hours in the rain to complete a project for two 75 year old female clients (one of which is disabled from arthritis and chem) to get the heating turned back on in the same day!Further work was done to prepare electrical outlets and make adjustments to fit in a new microwave and a working convection oven so I can cook in both at the same time.The gentlemen were nice and professional and knowledgeable about their work. I am very pleased with the results!

I looked up and called a few electricians but most of them will charge you by the hour leaving you without knowing the exact amount you will pay for a service. Mister Sparky will come to your home and they will give you a price for the service. No hidden fees or unknown cost. They charge a consultation fee to come out but that fee is waived if you end up doing the work with them. This was my first interaction with them and it was very positive. I recommend their services.

Basement was out of electricity. I called Romanoff first, twice, no use. Searched my communitys facebook and someone is recommending Mister Sparky. So I gave them a call, and the technician was at my doorway in less than 2 hours. I asked them to wear a mask and they gladly obeyed. They did some check and figured out the problem was from a GFCI outlet which I have ignored. Total charge is $39 for the trip and nothing else. Recommended.
