Shane came out as an emergency job for us on Christmas Eve as one of our main water pipes burst and he did a fantastic job fixing the issue and explaining everything to us in detail. The job was expensive, but having someone come out last minute on Christmas Eve was very much appreciated, and Shane handled everything quickly and effectively.

My first experience with Pann was very favorable, and Ill talk to my wife about switching to them for our other home service needs now.Update - Nov 2024Ive continued to use Pann and have found them dependable, efficient, and forthright. Today, Shane installed a dishwasher and replaced our kitchen faucet. He was highly professional and friendly, and I continue to be very happy we found Pann for our plumbing and HVAC service and replacement needs. Everything these days is expensive, but at least with this company Ive felt we get very fair value and extremely pleasant service technicians.

We had some sewer blockage unexpectedly on a Sunday evening. It was a mess in our basement. Pann Home Services were very quick to respond to my urgent calls. Chris came in early morning and did his best to mitigate the issue for us. Very thankful for their prompt attention and understanding. We felt the price very expensive though ($1600 approx) and thats why its one star less. We were charged $500+ just for removing the toilet and putting it back as part of the clog removal process. Wish the price was more reasonable. Grateful for the hard work by Chris anyway.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. I had to have faucets and toilet replaced in two bathrooms because ours were corroded closed. I wanted to get it done before my daughter brought home boyfriend for the first time ---but I got busy at work and left it til the last minute. Pann team totally came to my rescue. Chris scoped out work, ordered fixtures and then when fixture delay created even more time pressure, team squeezed us in and got everything done beautifully including bringing in carpenter at a moments notice where we needed more clearance. Professional, high quality and confidence-inspiring.

I hired Pann Home Services to repair my tankless water heater which had become defective due to water hardness. Chris was the lead technician taking care of the repair. Their work was diligent and thorough. They called the water heater manufacturer to get new parts under warranty on my behalf, installed a new water filter and softener system to protect the water heater, and at the end of the day wiped every square inch of floor spotlessly clean. Throughout the process, they clearly explained every step they were doing. Chris even came back a few days after finishing the job because his manager wanted him to add a new part to the water filter system he installed, showing that they care about the quality of their work. The price of their services is higher than average, but I know from experience that there is an element of you-pay-for-what-you-get when hiring contractors. I know I got value for my money and am pleased with the professionalism with which Pann Home Services did the job!

I called them and they were able to come out that day to replace my water heater. Tim, the service representative, was vey knowledgeable and was able to remove the old heater and install the new one in very quick time. They have great staff there.

We have a shower that hadnt been used in years. It was leaking and no hot water was available. Matt arrived on time, assessed the problems and gave us an estimate. He explained each issue, and each item on the estimate. He was very professional, friendly and didnt pressure us into extras or anything more than we expected. Matt was efficient and wore his mask the entire time too, which was appreciated. We are happy with the work that was performed; our shower is up and running fine and we believe the cost was fair. We have used Pann Home Services several times over many years. They are dependable, responsive and timely. We have never been disappointed with their work.

Professional, thorough, friendly. Twenty-six years ago, the original owner of our home used Pann Home Services to install two furnaces, and as the current owner, I couldnt be happier to be able to work with the same company all these years later. Our technician, Peter K., showed up on time, got right to work diagnosing our heating issue, and took ample time to discuss every possible option for servicing the heating equipment in my home, from repairing our old furnaces to replacing the entire heating system. He answered all of our questions clearly and listened carefully to our concerns.

We had a leak into the downstairs bathroom that started at 5:00 in the morning and Pann was the first to respond. It took a short while to trace the leak source but Josh and Clara were very rigorous in diagnosing the problem. They did a very professional job fixing the leak and also did a great job cleaning up and putting the house back in order afterwards, something not usually seen. I am very pleased with their work and I would definitely recommend them to my neighbors.

I have nothing but high praise for Tim B. And Panns work in helping us install leak sensors on our water heaters. Two other recommended companies we contacted had no experience doing this kind of work. Tim did the task from bid to completion in three business days. Pann was very easy to work with in terms of scheduling the initial appointment, arranging to have the work done by a contractor with experience in the work we needed, and confirming the arrangements.

Another excellent experience with Pann Home Services. Our furnace was on it’s last legs…still working but inefficient and quite old. Frank and Tim from Pann suggested we replace it now rather than wait for a failure in the middle of winter in Boston. They did a masterful job, coordinated all the work and were a pleasure to deal with. Pann may not be the least expensive but they are top grade and extremely professional!

From start to finish, my experience with PANN was amazing. My boiler was 30 years old and needed replacing before the winter. PANN installed a high efficiency unit and I couldnt be happier with the results. The entire team was amazing, but I want to especially thank Josh for making the process as painless as possible. Not only did he walk me through every step of the plan, patiently addressing all my questions and concerns, he also updated me at the end of each day on how the installation was going. He was professional, communicative, and a genuine pleasure to work with.

Very professional and clean work. They quoted contracted, executed and completed the task on time. They were on the expensive side and I had reservations to go with them when the quote was given to us. We probably could have had a cheaper option as well but after seeing their work I am happy with my decision. Even though we spent significantly more money than we wanted to do we are very happy with the clean and professional service and we will be happy to use them again. In particular Tim and frank who led the work in my house where spectacular. They were a joy to be around and where very respectful and hilarious at the same time. Pann should do everything in their power to keep them as they are great.

Ron and his co-worker Mike came to fix my fireplace that wouldnt light. Ron was courteous, knowledgable and efficient when it came to fixing my fireplace. He explained why the fireplace wasnt working and then proceeded to fix the unit so that it would function properly. He also cleaned the interior of the fireplace and reorganized the artificial logs which were misaligned.Overall I was very pleased with the level of service I received and would call Ron and Pann Home Services in the future.

I had such a great experience with Pann Home Services. My central air went out on a super hot day (of course). I found Pann online and gave them a call. They offered me an emergency call and sent a contractor out right away that day. He diagnosed the problem and went through the repair with me thoroughly. We had to order the part and as soon as it came in, they were back to install it. Now my A/C is back and running great. I highly recommend Pann to anyone with HVAC or other needs.

I had a suspicion it was causing a leak in the condo below mine, but after he inspected and ran thorough tests I can be assured that there is no issue. He even took his service a step further and lent a helping hand in cleaning under my dishwasher (because lets face it, when does anyone ever clean under there except for situations like this?)! A gentleman and a consummate professional.That same day, I also had my HVAC system inspected to get ready for the winter, and was helped by Kollin and Peter. Had a water heater go out just last week. Very bad timing as we had a roof leak (the two were not related). We called Pann but were worried that cost of the heater, coming at the same time as other home repairs, would be an overwhelming burden to out wallet.Michael Bunik, Pann manager, worked with us to make sure we got a great water heater in a timely manner, at a price we could afford. We were really glad we called Pann.The Pann techs, Dana and Andrew (Drew), were very professional. Like all Pann jobs, they arrived on time. I was worried about complications in terms of getting the water heater in place due to our particular home and the addition of our basement door being inaccessible due to snow. I shouldnt have worried. Dana and Drew quickly found the best route to get the old heater out and the new one in. They worked in a very professional manner and finished quickly. They took the old heater out and cleaned up everything related to the installation. Even to the point of Drew making sure that there was nothing at all that may have dropped on the floors; a post installation inspection as it were.Besides the great service, there were two items that show the professionalism of Pann. Michael Bunik is familiar with our home from previous visits. Michael had Dana and Drew bring out a shorter water heater (I guess they make them in different heights, albeit with the same water capacity). This was because, on another visit Michael noticed that our heater would install, to meet code, easier if the unit was shorter. Note that this was simply Michaels eye for detail in regards to home maintenance issues. At the time Michael took note of the height issue, our heater was functioning properly. Hes just that good in helping homeowners be satisfied with Panns service.The second item of note was that Dana took time to make sure that I knew how to light (or re-light) the water heater in case the pilot went out. This wasnt trivial, it took a few minutes for me to learn. The upshot is that Im now confident that, in the case of a pilot light going out, I can re-light it myself. I know that the instructions are on the heater but, by Danas taking extra time to have me go through the procedure, I dont have to fumble around or worry that Im doing something wrong.Thanks to Dana, Drew, Michael and Pann for a great experience and a great water heater.

My heating died last Sunday afternoon, a day after a snowstorm. I called PANN and within 1-1/2 hours, Peter arrived at my door and determined that the furnace motor had burned out. He said he would be back the next day with a replacement, explained the cost, and left me hopeful. He also offered me a space heater to get me through the night. As a brand new PANN customer, I was thrilled with the quick response to my emergency call!! Long story short, within 24 hours of my original call, Peter was back with a new motor and I had heat again. He was efficient, knowledgeable, willing to answer all my questions about the heating system, and a really nice guy.So glad I chose PANN for my heating and AC maintenance.

During his evaluation of the unit Tom identified and documented several Problems and showed me the costs or repairs. given the previous problems I had with this unit I elected to replace it instead and Tom helped me set up the appointment and will return to check on the new unit after installation.Tom was Professional, Polite, and Helpful to Me and my family through his entire visit.

My gas stove was sitting about 6 inches away from the wall because of a pipe coming out out the floor. Rich moved this pipe and now I dont have this big gap behind my stove anymore. Other companies wanted to go straight to breaking up the stone foundation to get at the pipe. Rich studied the situation and decided to try going at it from the top first. He learned that this would work and that going through the foundation in the basement would not have worked because of the way the pipes were arranged. He got the job done. He seemed very competent and trust worthy. (He also noticed that the sealant around my exhaust pipe from the water heater needed repair and he did it without charging extra for it.)I would hire him again.It was expensive though...I dont know if this is the going rate or not...

Pann Home Services has been my go to source for HVAC for several years now. While doing a routine semi-annual on my furnace they found some serious problems with the heat exchanger, when I saw the crack in the exchanger I was horrified to think that gasses had been seeping out thru the heating system.Within a short time, the guys replaced the furnace and at the same time I had my 8 yr. old water heater replaced.The professionalism of these guys is incredible. Work done within a day for each project and not a bit of residual mess, I was amazed. The crew introduced themselves, wore booties to come up and replace thermostat in living room. I tend to be a fault finder, as my friends can attest, but, I could not find one thing to complain about.Ryan, Kellin & Tim were an attribute to this fine company, I cant recommend them enough.* With winter here and concerns about high levels of CO-2 found in homes, and some of the tragedies I hear about, Im just super glad that I have an annual service contract with Pann.
