Derek and his crew built a 24x60 pole barn for us in October 2023, the entire experience was above expectation. Derek was great to work with and is a true professional - reliable, organized, great communication. Derek coordinated materials and subcontractors to keep the project moving at a good pace from beginning to end. Everyone he brought into the project was pleasant and professional. We would gladly hire DC Construction for any other building project. Cant recommend highly enough!

Derek was incredibly pleasant to work with from our initial conversations proposing our project, through construction completion. Derek managed and oversaw our project with professionalism and provided superb customer service. A few years ago, we completed a project with a different local contractor where we were very clearly the small project that was often put on the backburner, causing increased project timeline and less than ideal finished results. We were very pleased that this was NOT the case when working with Derek. He was very quick to respond to all inquiries and messages, honest with his scheduling and cost estimates, and went above and beyond to ensure that we loved our new kitchen and interior renovations throughout our cottage. We endured a less-than-pleasant experience with the local company we ordered our cabinets through, and Derek was always on top of managing the situation from his side of the project and helped to overcome the misfortune of working with that particular supplier. We would absolutely recommend DC Construction & Remodeling to anyone in the market for building or renovation projects and will definitely call him again should we need anything else in the future!

We wanted a deck rebuild and a three season room addition for our house. A good friend recommended DC Construction, so I began checking reviews online. Everything looked good, so I reached out to Derek.From initial contact, I was impressed with his responsiveness. It seemed like it was just a few days later and he was at our house discussing the project.I need to clarify, I am not a builder. I do not speak the language, nor am very good at communicating what exactly we wanted. Derek took my incomplete guidance and ran with it.Once the project started, it moved fast. He communicated with me daily and never once did we feel like we didn’t know what was going on.Derek’s crew were kind, professional, and courteous the entire time. The job sight was left picked up and organized every day. I’d say my favorite aspect was when we left the house to go to work, I knew my home was in good hands and I had zero concerns.The last thing I’ll share is the impressive finished product. Again, I know my guidance was minimal, but they built exactly what we wanted, and it was done well. We are beyond pleased with our deck and three season room.I would highly recommend Derek and his crew to anyone looking for home or businesses remodeling, additions, or new construction. You sincerely will not be disappointed. We sure weren’t.

The house looks amazing and we couldnt be happier! New siding, doors, and repairs on the house and garage exteriors. DCCR recently renovated our screen porch turning it into a sunroom with a heated tile floor. We also had them add on a small deck and replace our old deck boards and railing with Trex. They even built a planter to hide a utility box on our front porch. The guys were on time daily and didnt mess around. They went right to work and got the job done efficiently and professionally. All issues were dealth with promptly and they were responsive to any questions or requests. We would highly recommend Derrick & Ron and plan to have them do more work for us in the future.

Being remote from the project we hired him to take on, required a lot of trust. My wife Shelby and I are very impressed with Derek and his crew. They replaced our roof recently, of fairly complex construction, and did a perfect job and I dont use that term often. Not only is the work itself impeccable, but they went above and beyond with the cleanup (couldnt find a single nail), moving outdoor decorations so they didnt get damaged, and even moving them back where they were. Timely, rightly priced and very professional. Will definitely use them again since they do more than just roofs, and I would recommend them to anybody

He listens respectfully and is flexableHe used prime lumber which requires no stain and no paint. It will weather just like the ancient trees it was built among.Thank you Derek..Later that year our barn needed a new roof suddenly.DC Construction, Derek took the shingles off, replaced sheeting, used all the latest and greatest material and had it roofed with Certainteed shingles in three days.Came on time, done early.Easy to work with and pleasant even with old women.

DC Construction did a very good on all respects of the construction project. They did a 8x8 mud room attached to our log cabin, with a 30x40 pole barn attached to that. They kept us informed and sent pictures as they progressed. We didn’t have to be there to see the work. An awesome company to work with, and would gladly use them again! If you emailed or texted them they always responded back in a timely manner. As we made some changes they rolled with the punches.

We bought our place recently and did a complete renovation. We tore it down to studs and then built things back up. We did much of the work ourselves but Derek did flooring, shower tile install/waterproofing, bench building and general construction tasks that we did not have the time or skills to complete. His costs matched or were below actuals despite going above and beyond with each task. He was super responsive and worked very closely with us to complete his tasks in the allotted time windows that worked around us and other trade professionals.
