I heard about Comet Electric through a friend who had work done at her house. She could not sing their praises enough! When they showed up at my house to do the initial inspection, I could see why. Steve and Rich were both incredibly professional, and provided options for me as they reviewed my electrical setup. I needed to upgrade my mothers knob and tube wiring in order to sell her house. Comet immediately set up time for an inspection and quote. The quote was very reasonable given the entire house needed upgraded. Within one month the work was complete and NO walls had to be torn apart in the process! So pleased!

Steve came at the times promised and worked hard and creatively to find what was causing some very annoying and potentially unsafe electrical issues that were hard to isolate. We strongly recommend this company (and Steve!) and will use them again when we need an electrician.We had a second excellent experience with Comet. Steve came back to repair some fixtures that were only accessible when the roof was being replaced. He coordinated his visit with the roofers and fixed the problem quickly, allowing us to use fixtures that we had not been able to use for years. I called Comet to install a transfer switch for my backup generator to use during power outages. Steve and Rich arrived around 8am. While out, they also installed a new electrical panel, surge protector, and electric meter as my house needed updated. All work was done by about 5pm. I felt that the price I paid for their services was more than fair for all of the work they completed. My house is ready for anything I may want to power now and in the future. I am also setup to use my backup sources when West Penn Power has their next multi-day outage. I highly recommend Comet if you need electrical work done at your home!

Have been using Comet Electric for many years. Most recently we had them replace our kitchen light fixtures. They installed the lights in no time. They did a great job! Love my new lights. They provide great service for a great price. In the past we had them install a 220 line, outdoor lighting fixtures, and a foyer light fixture. Will definitely use them for my next electrical job. Highly recommend if you are looking for a reliable and reasonably priced electrician for any electrical needs.

I was surprised that I could schedule electric service between the Christmas and New Year holidays. Comet Electric agreed to come for an estimate to fix a couple wall outlets and add 3 new outlets, 1 inside and two outside. Steve arrived at the agreed time Dec. 26. After giving me a fair quote he was able to complete the interior work that day and will return at a convenient time to do the outside work. This was the second time that Comet provided professional electric services for me. I definitely will use them again.

Everyone from Transformation Electric was great to work with from scheduling with Kristen and working with the electricians Bryon and Alex. They upgraded my old fuse box and rewired my whole house in 7 days. I was very impressed with all the work they did including all the extra stuff that I requested while they worked. They made as little holes as possible and filled a lot of them which was a bonus since the other quotes I received did not include filling the holes and was told I would need to have a contractor come in after they were done. They even put in an exhaust in my bathroom and ran the exhaust line to my attic so all my step dad had to do was cut the hole to the outside for the vent. They honestly went above and beyond and I highly recommend them.

I contacted this company after seeing a recommendation on Facebook and after reviewing customer reviews. I was very impressed with their responsiveness, professionalism and the quality of their work I had them install a fan and a new outlet on my deck, install a video doorbell, and a whole house surge system. I especially liked that they text and email you with a picture of the technicians before they come to your home. As a woman living alone I appreciated that courtesy. I cant comment on the price of services as this is the first time Ive hired an electrician. I highly recommend this company!

We had called a couple places and were disappointed, they didn’t show up for the estimate or it would be outrageous. I can’t remember how I had heard of Transformation Elec., but I called. Kristen was super friendly when scheduling and Chris showed up- on time! He explained what needed done in layman’s terms and why. Was very thorough and knowledgeable. The owner Steve was helpful and friendly as well when Chris needed a hand. They were here for a couple days (it was a big project) but they felt like friends by the end of the week. I cant say enough good things about my experience with Steve and Bryon. Right from the estimate to the last day of work everything went smoothly. This was a terrible job to take on. Its a 100 year old house with the original service. We had basically everything replaced and upgraded the panel while we were in the house. We were able to have electric service the whole time. They were very professional and every time I wanted to add or change something they always said no problem. The job was under the estimate quoted and I will recommend them to everyone!

Overall a great experience. Easy to schedule through the online form and texts with the scheduler. I had to reschedule and that was no hassle, I was able to get a new appointment a few days later on a Saturday. Chris arrived right at 8 a.m. (my appointment window was 8-8:30), was professional and checked out a couple issues I was having with other things that were not what I had called about. He was able to fix those in no time where I thought theyd be much bigger fixes. Took care of the main problem quickly and at a very reasonable price. Recognizing that scheduling an in-home appointment for an estimate or an actual project can be difficult in the best of times, and during a pandemic nearly impossible, suffice it to say that we were unable to find an electrician who bothered to return phone calls or keep scheduled appointments until we called Transformation Electric. Not only did they return our call, they made an appointment, showed up when promised, gave us their estimate for our project, and came back the next day to do the work, all in a professional and friendly manner. We are pleased with the work performed (relocation of a chandelier in our dining room that was originally mounted awkwardly off-center (no, not by me!)). I called Transformation Electric at 1:30 PM Sunday and talked to Kristen who understood the problem and e-mailed a quote. I responded to the quote and she scheduled a technician for the next day, Monday 8 AM (Labor Day!). Steve arrived at 8 AM, replaced the entrance cable, meter box, grounds and breaker panel. Power was restored by 2 PM; the technician left the site clean at 2:30. I did not get competing quotes (I called it a bargain). The work passed electrical inspection.

We were unable to find any electrician who would come out over the weekend to reinstall our electric wiring once Duquesne light had done their part on Saturday.
