    Alex and helper Sean replaced a toilet and vessel sink in master bathroom. I am so very happy with the results. I was concerned about my wooden floors but they worked carefully and so neatly; very professional and the bathroom now looks great. Not easy finding a knowledgeable plumber as you probably know. Grateful to have found this company.

    I had to have my main sewer line replaced due to tree roots. Josh came and saw the sewer line collapsed and had to be replaced from house to street. Sewer was installed in 1947 so needed to be replaced. Two things to keep in mind it is a major project and it is not cheap. Also most homeowners policies do not cover it. Josh and Dylan were very professional in installing sewer I would recommend Franklin and if you needed other plumbing work they did well two other times I used them. Overall I was very happy with the work. Would use them again if needed

    Incredibly efficient service!! Tyler was right on time and cleared our tub drain and restored flow. He also tested our water at no charge. I always wonder what kind of service we will get when a service company shows up, but not with BFP!!     My husband and I recently had an emergency situation when our main water line clogged on a Monday night around 10PM. Fairly new to homeownership, we were concerned about not only what this was going to entail to fix, but at what price point. Tyler at Benjamin Franklin Plumbing came to our rescue that same night to find where the clog was and returned promptly with several others the following day to handle the issue to get our plumbing fixed!     Alan from Benjamin Franklin plumbing called and said they would be at my home by 1pm. He arrived on time and looked at the project. Told me what needed to be done and how much it would cost.I agreed and Alan and Bryan got started.They were very professional and took great care in what they were doing. A problem occurred and explained what it could be. They fixed it and the project was completed to our satisfaction.I would recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing work .

    This company was highly recommended by our town’s group chat so I decided to try them. I was not disappointed. They came on time, very professional and well mannered.When my husband came a few minutes ago after they left, he noticed that the pipe will be too tight to connect to our standalone fireplace so I called to see if the guy who came earlier can come back. However, he is in another job already so his office sent another serviceman to take a look at it.I did not wait too long.     Alex and his team installed new propane piping throughout the house, a Viessmann high efficiency propane boiler, and a Viessmann indirect water heater. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and punctual. The team completed the job quickly and neatly, removing the old equipment and installing the new equipment in a more discrete, aesthetically pleasing location.     Benjamin Franklin sent someone out within just a few hours the day our hot water heater died. Alex was knowledgeable and professional and quickly assessed the situation and provided our options. Once we selected the option best suited for us, he arranged to be at the house the next morning to install the new water heater etc. and he took the time to explain things to us once the water heater was installed. Alex and the other gentleman working with him made sure to take care with the other areas of our home that they had to move through - they laid down carpet protecting mats, cleaned up thoroughly when they were done, etc. Overall they made what started as a very daunting and stressful project, very seamless. I did feel their prices were a little high compared to what other area plumbers might be offering however it was worth a little extra to us to have a company come who was knowledgeable, and could address the situation quickly as well as one known for backing their work.

We were told by the dishwasher repair people that the issue was a clog in a hose the extended behind our cabinets. This company sent someone out within hours of my husbands call this morning. The tech was super professional and very helpful. He was offering to call the appliance company to speak with them and came up with a plan. The issue didn’t wind up being a clog but he did his best to help us in any way he could. Very appreciative of all his time and effort in getting the dishwasher in working order.     Very professional and prompt. I left a request on the website on Saturday evening and first thing Monday morning I was called and the appointment was set up for 45 minutes later. Both plumbers in uniform and took care to cover their feet before entering the house. A little expensive but that comes with the professional manner in which they conducted business. I have used the same plumber since the early 80s but he no longer has his company, so when he said that this was the company to go with, I trusted him.

    This is a family business that delivers the service of big business! I had a stove delivered in the morning only to have the installer discover a leak in my shut off valve. I called Benjamin Franklin immediately and they responded immediately. By 9:45am my pipes were replaced! That is how fast and professional they are.I have used them many times over the years but they won my trust on the first visit when Alex looked at a pump, identified the servicer and told us we had to call them. He did not try to take a job where he could not service us whereas others demanded a service charge for the visit. Since then they have been our go to plumber. Literally any time of day they respond! And they have always delivered excellent service and workmanship! They have my loyalty as long as I live here.

    This is a new review following multiple favorable reviews previously posted.Alex Loranger (Doug’s son) came and snaked my sewer line to clear roots. He did a good job, and provided information regarding prevention of further problems. He left the work area as clean as he found it. Another satisfied customer!The above review is the prior one. Alex had indicated that the roots were bad at that time. Sure enough, the sewer clogged again. 60 year old sewer line needs to be replaced. But the Loranger men cleared it out again so I have time to get that done. They left the area clean and everything is good to go again. I recommend this company to everyone.     Ben Franklins technicians installed a new grinder pump yesterday. They fit us in as an emergency - we were scheduled to replace the pump in November, however, it died on Thursday. We were so pleased they could take care of it right away. They did a fantastic job. The floors were all protected throughout the project. All debris was removed and the floors were vacuumed after the job was completed. The technicians are very professional and always a pleasure to deal with. Alex provided detailed information regarding the new pump. Alex is an asset to the Company! We highly recommend Benjamin Franklin and will certainly call upon them for future needs!

    I called Benjamin Franklin plumbing in the past to replace my water heater, while they were here l asked about my loose kitchen faucet what it would cost to fix, they took a look at it and said it wasnt broken it just needed to be tightened so they did.     Santa brought me a leaking hot water heater on Christmas Eve morning. While trying to find somebody, anybody, working on Christmas Eve, I heard a van in front of my house. It was a Ben Franklin guy, Alex, dropping something off at my neighbors house. I ran outside and caught him before he left. He came over and within about an hour and a half had my house good as new. Alex was extremely neat, knowledgeable and professional. He treated my house like it was his own, which is what you want to see in a contractor. He protected my floors and didn’t spill a drop of water anywhere. For anyone who has replaced a hot water heater, you know that’s an impressive feat. Additionally the plumber provided two unsolicited estimates for a hot water heater replacement that were 3-5 times the cost of the original hot water heater replacement. Understand he was offering some additional recommended additional to the cost including an expansion tank and new exhaust venting, but the current hot water heating exhaust has been working fine for 20+ years. Given I work in a sales organization, I understand the need to upsell me but the estimates were jaw dropping.

    This is regarding someone who disagreed about the cost of service which is unfairly impactful someones business as posts are one way facing consumers.For professional services, there is a cost of running business: Training professionals, maintaining equipment, using top quality materials, keeping up with insurances, and maintaining staffing according to client needs. You pay for what you get. Besides I recently paid an exterminator $300 for 15 min inspection of termite. I was happy to pay for the professional services. You are paying someone for years of experience that you dont have. Sometimes I spend days trying to figure out what I cant fix around my house. If you spend money for service and save you from trouble of trial and error, it should be respected. I have zero relationship with this vendor, but I think every business should be respected for their professional services and value that they provide for our needs especially during hard times like this. Everyones time, service, experience has value and cost so we should respect that as consumers. Plumbers make money but not as much they deserve. Lawyers and doctors make 100 times more money writing up contracts and writing prescriptions. It is an inequity that we complain about the cost of hard labor.

    I had an old bathtub drain that was draining incredibly slow and the at home snake tools werent working. Wade came out the same day I called and fixed it super fast. He even took the time to explain which pipes in the utility room go to the drain so I know for any future projects. Theyre my go to guys for any plumbing issues.

    When my water heater broke down, Benjamin Franklin Plumbing was quick to respond, first by phone, then with a technician who came first thing in the morning, fully stocked with everything he needed to complete the job (including the water heater) in his truck. He never had to leave to pick up a part or take care of another emergency. His work was neat and professional and he communicated with me so I always knew what was going on. These guys take pride in their well-earned reputation and it shows in their work. Benjamin Franklin Plumbing is the only company Ive used in my home for more than 25 years.

    Busted pipe 😱 2 newborns, called Benjamin Franklin plumber and explained problem at 11:57 am. Sorry I forget the name of the wonderful young lady who took my call. She could not have been nicer said someone could come between 2-5.🎉. 12:26 Tyler was at our door (amazing). Tyler was so professional, respectful of home, and did a great job. He cleaned up after.
