    My hot water heater went out. Called A-Tex for a second opinion. Because the first plumbing company sounded outrageous and would have taken a week or two just to start. So glad I did! They not only got the job completed within a day but we also saved well over $1,000! They were quick, fast and did such a great job. They found a leak we’ve had for a long time and they fixed it. The first plumber never mentioned a leak he instead told me everything needed(all pipes under my house)to be replaced….So glad I called A-Tex! We will call them with every other plumbing problem from now on 4 sure! I can’t recommend this company enough. If your needing a plumbing job done and done right and fast Call these guys. They won’t disappoint! I also have a 6year warranty. Can’t beat that! Thanks A-Tex!

    From a leaky faucet and toilet valve repairs to a major water softener disaster and an emergency flooding water heater, this company has been there for me! They are always prompt, courteous, and professional. I was using another company who were always trying to convince me I needed total replacements of fairly new and expensive fixtures when I called A-Tex Plumbing. These guys are honest and saved me thousands of dollars. They are always quick to respond and call before they come to the job. Plus they work with me schedule wise to my convenience. I never spend a day waiting and wondering when theyll arrive and when they do arrive, they have everything needed to do the job. I have recommended them for other jobs and everyone who has taken the advice raves about their service. I only wish there were more stars to award this company.

    What an amazing company. They came on a Saturday after we were stood up by another company. They were awesome, they showed up when they said they were going to show up. Worked until they found the leak and repaired the damage with minimal impact to my lawn. We were concerned that it was going to be a very expensive repair but they were extremely reasonable. The owner supervised the job and ensured it was done right the first time. I cannot sing enough praises for this company. Will definitely call again if we have any plumbing issues.

    A-Tex did an exceptional job on my bathroom 4 years ago and I havent experienced any problems since. They were very professional and took the time to show & explain everything that needed to be done prior which I had never experienced with other companies. If I need a plumber in the future I will definitely use them again they get the job done and are reasonably priced . I Highly recommend!

    I called A-Tex to come check out my hot water heater that just wasnt working the way it used to. They were great on the phone, came out the same day and were even on time. After inspecting it he gave me several options to repair or replace it. He ended up making me a great deal to replace the hot water heater and install a water softener system to help the water heater and the other appliances in our home last longer, plus, my wife had always wanted one. I did check around and they really gave us a great price...and finished it all the same day. I will definitely use A-Tex again if I need an honest plumber.

    I have relied on Dave and team throughout the entire time at my house. From the installation of my water storage tank and booster pump to the replacement of my two tankless water heaters and well house pipes to the sink repair and clog removal, Dave and team have always provided the best service at a reasonable cost. I will continue to trust Dave and A-Tex Plumbing for all my plumbing needs.

    The guys at A-Tex were fantastic to work with. I was referred to them when my original plumber decided the job was too large for him. A-Tex did a complete overhaul of my 1918 house including new sewer, water lines, tank-less hot water heaters, and gas lines all while maintaining the current service to the cottage I was living in. They were very flexible and worked around my schedule. My framing contractor even commented on how great the work looked. I am very pleased with the results!

    We have been using A Tex plumbing for several years. I am the Operations Manager at a San Antonio Hotel, called them many times in an emergency and they were fast. Always professional and fair pricing. They installed a hot water boiler for us and repaired numerous leaks and faucets. I call them for all my plumbing needs , both personal and professionally. I recommend them.

    Honest, Skilled and Professional! This company does a great job at a good price. I have used many other plumbers who have overcharged and didnt guarantee their work. You get what you pay for. A-Tex is easy to work with, they bring the right parts the first time, and tney provide priority scheduling when needed. The people in the office are attentive and friendly and very knowledgable. They show up on time and call to let me know they are on the way, so I can schedule my time. Over the years, they have provided excellent work and have also shown outstanding customer and community service. I wouldnt use anyone else! We have several rental properties they have worked on and an older commercial building that needed much improvement to the plumbing..I cannot thank them enough for such a great jobs...I would highly recommend this company for any plumbing need commercial or residential.

    After talking to several different companies, I decided to go with A-Tex when building my outdoor kitchen. They were prompt and got the job done in no time! On top of that, they quoted me less than all of the other companies! I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone!04/13/2021If I could leave a separate review, I would...So Im just adding to this one. I called David and his crew at 10 am on a Sunday in a frantic because water was coming out of my downstairs master bedroom shower and completely flooded my bathroom. They walked me through shutting off the water supply and to open the drain pipe in my yard (that I didnt even know existed). They came out, diagnosed the problem (tree roots growing inside my pipes) and fixed it to where I was able to have full water usage. Of course things are never that simple.... Because the pipes belonged to SAWS and beyond a certain point in my yard, I had to involve SAWS. David couldve just left it at that and leave to me deal with SAWS. But instead, he went above and beyond and called SAWS, even stayed at my house until they arrived!!! Now thats what I call CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!

    Our family highly recommends A-Tex Plumbing. David Shannon MPL, thoroughly and tenaciously diagnosed the failure of our RHEEM tankless water heater. He effectively communicated with Rheem support staff providing the knowledge that justified overnight delivery of part necessary for hot water to our home. David made an after hour svc call to facilitate hot water while we waited for delivery of part!We had hot water within 24 hours of our initial call to A-Tex, because of the experience, knowledge and excellent work ethic of David Shannon!!!

    Called A-Tex Plumbing this morning because the water in my bathroom sink had stopped flowing. The tech called me back in a timely manner and gave me really great troubleshooting advice. The problem is with my softener system. The softener caused a resin build up in the piping which caused the bathroom faucet to become blocked and no long run water. I was told to turn the bypass valves on which stops the water from running through the softener system. I was told this was due to the softener being bad and that it needed to be replaced. After calling the softener company, I was informed that it could be fixed and a new system was not necessary.I am giving a 4 star rating because on the high end I was pleased with the customer service and the advice the tech gave me. On the low end I did not like having to worry about completely replacing my softener system considering it is only 3 years old.I would definitely call this company again for their plumbing advice.

    Early in 2014 I was in charge of our park maintenance out in Bulverde. The unusually cold weather we had caused our water pipes to freeze and break several times. I called A-Tex, and they were out right away every time, they gave us a fair quote, and took care of the repairs quickly. In addition, each time they came out, they found minor items that needed attention and they took care of them for no charge! How many plumbers would do that!!! I would highly recommend this company for any of your plumbing needs!

    We had a contractor working on a job that we needed done. They ended up walking out and never returned. We then needed to find someone that would be willing to take over and complete the job at hand. We called A-Tex Plumbing and explained to David the situation, he offered to step right in and help. With his immediate attention, we ended up with an overall benefiting experience. Not only did he complete the job, but also pointed out a few hazards that needed to be addressed as well. WE would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND HIM AND THE COMPANY TO ANYONE...that wants a job well done.

    First of all my wife and myself bought a house in Hollywwod Park and we hired a contractor to do a 200,000 remodle job. There plumber cut corners, didnt check the pipes, they didnt do one thing right when it comes to the plumbing!!! We had leaks everywhere. They work they did do and there wasnt no leaks still wasnt done right. I called the owner David at A-Tex here in San Antonio and first thimg they did was the main water line to my house. Then A-Tex has came out and fixed almost everything the other plumber did. A-Tex plumbing is First Class work. They take pride in what they do and they make you feel like your a person not just a job. If you reed this review and you still go to another plumber then shame on you!!!! If you want quality work, better prices, with a group of plumbers that KNOW what there talkikng about and doing then go with A-Tex. These are the only guys i will ever use. A-Tex will be the only Company I will ever use in the future!!!

    The only plumber I call! I have used A-Tex 4 times, both for commercial work and for my own house. Commercial work, from the ground up. They also came and unclogged my sewer line full of tree roots! Literally, have them save as in my phone! Legit!

    I recently had my bathroom redone and came across A-Tex Plumbing. They were more than fair with the quote and even told me of certain things I really didnt need done that other plumbing quotes had thrown my way. They were prompt on service and when they said they were going to be there? You can bet they were.. I have since then, used them to replace my kitchen sink. Love it by the way.     I was refered to A - Tex Plumbing from a friend , they could have sold me anything at that point .I was expecting the worst and prepaired to replace my fixtures , but instead i was told that all i needed was to replace the washer. they replaced the the washer and charged me 1/2 hour labor and its been several months with no more leaks .I would definitely recommend A - Tex Plumbing to my family and friends .
