I just wanted anyone who needs plumbing help to know what amazing service Trevor and his crew do with Afford A Rooter and what they did for me. I had a main water pipe leak that almost tripled my Bill! I found them on line and called, Trevor was at my house the same day getting me an estimate (which was almost half of what I expected!) They were there a few days later not only did he put my worries at ease, his crew was amazing! They took care of everything and answered any questions I had plus cleaned up and put everything back where it was! I will only use Trevor and his team from now on with any plumbing issues I have in the future! Thank you guys again!

Just want to say thank you to Adam G from afford a rooter. Adam was very helpful with a clean out of my sewer line. He definitely pushed whatever was blocking my line out. had two other companies come out the day before that wanted to replace my whole sewer line. The crew that worked on my house did an amazing job, led by the foremen Rego and Andreas. I called on a Thursday and they showed up at 8 a.m. on Friday. My water line failed and they had to replace it -- 172 from the street hook up to my house. They were professional, personable and proficient. The bid I received from Trevor was reasonable. They were able to pull a new line without taking apart my deck and only digging a few holes (one in my yard, two in my neighbors). They did a great job refilling the holes and cleaning up, amazing considering the extent of the work. I would highly recommend this company and definitely ask for this team.

I was concerned about my mainline backing up as it had already happened a couple years ago. I called them and explained the situation, (had insurance woes, long story), to Sue who was very personable and understanding. She sent AJ out the next day who was very prompt, did what was needed and managed to get my mainline completely replaced the next day. The video showed that my mainline was backing up and it couldve been a disaster at any given moment. I highly recommend these folks for their goodness, honesty, and professionalism. The cost was 1/3 of what the others were charging. I did get 2 other quotes and none were anywhere near as interested in being helpful.

Orangburg sewer pipe came with the house. It’s mostly tar paper. Seventy-one years of upstanding service, but it’s slowly collapsing (and the talk of the coffee clutch at the plumber’s). Flow was starting to slow.After recommendations and estimates and questions; we picked Afford-A-Rooter. And then it happened fast. A box truck arrived in the morning, men swarmed over the yard with various tools. Tree limbs were cut away to clear a path, iris and a butterfly bush were quickly sacrificed. Boards were laid across the lawn. The trailer had barely stopped before the excavator sprang to life, maneuvering gracefully around the tree right up to the house. A couple of huge rocks were gently pushed aside, buckets of dirt deftly cupped, lifted over the roses and piled on the boards; efficient, dexterous, amazingly delicate movements contrasted with the loud, squeaky, well-used mechanical arm. The other workers schlepped, shored, shoveled, weaved around the backhoe like a dance. I was mesmerized watching this centaur, this cyborg and his human helpers execute their task like some beautiful, purposeful ballet.A mountain of dirt grew on the boards. In mere hours, 14 feet deep, 50 feet long, an excavator-bucket wide trench extended from the house into the street. New, bright blue-green PVC sewer pipe stretched along its bottom. A small concrete drill wielded by an agile man in heavy boots and dirty jeans in the cramped, muddy hole broke the last obstacle to the city sewer line. He afixed a saddle tee joint, called out a measurement from under the large storm drainpipe and was soon handed a custom length pipe and some elbows. He called to his teammate under the storm drainpipe and they jostled and flexed the PVC just “un poco” and it slipped into place. “Beautiful!” I heard him say.A dump truck had delivered gravel minutes before and it went in and around the new sewer pipe. The inspector arrived during lunch break. Clean, sandy-colored dirt arrived in a cement truck; some of the old dirt hauled away. The remaining dirt on the lawn disappeared back into the trench.They restitched the sprinkler hoses, tidied the yard, replaced stepping stones. The only evidence is a strip of dirt from the house to the street, some missing shrubbery, a new sliver of sidewalk and a fresh asphalt patch in the street. And, of course, the immense relief one has when everything is flowing smoothly.I give 10 stars out of 5 to this amazing, choreagraphed, high-performance team!!

I called Trevor late on a Monday and he came to check out my water line leak that evening. He provided a competitive quote on the spot and had a crew at my house the very next morning to repair my leak. The crew did exactly what Trevor promised in the time promised. I feel very lucky that I called Trevor as three other companies didn’t even follow up with an estimate that they had promised. I rarely write reviews, but I was so impressed with Trevor and the crew that I felt compelled to write this review. I would definitely use Afford-A-Rooter Plumbing again and would recommend to anyone for waterline problems.

When I discovered the sump pump in my crawlspace was shooting water up into the air, I called Afford-A-Rooter on Saturday morning after never hearing back from another company that did subsequent work in the crawl space after the initial sump pump install by Afford-A-Rooter this spring. Jason promptly reached out to me and came by on the same day in the afternoon to look at the sump pump. He quickly discovered that whoever had done subsequent work in the crawl space after the initial install had changed the piping and installed it incorrectly. He disassembled the configuration, made some adjustments, reinstalled, and tested the system and it worked perfectly! I am very grateful and so impressed with Jasons professionalism, quick response time, and willingness to fix another companys faulty work. I would highly recommend having Jason with Afford-A-Rooter come out to work on any plumbing issues!

I used Afford-A-Rooter last year when we were selling my Father-In-Laws house and they did a wonderful job. We had to replace the sewer and dealt with Jason Dodge, he got everything done in a affordable and timely manner. Currently we are selling our house and had to have our sewer clean and scoped, I called this company again and requested Jason. Unforutnately we were advised another sewer repair was needed at our home. They gave us a affordable price and completed the work in a timely manner. Sue the office manager is great to work with, Jason and his crew did an awesome job. If we were not moving out of the city we would continue to use them. On a Tuesday night my sewer line backed up. I called many sewer companies but could not get anyone to come out after hours. The next morning, I called a few companies at 7 in the morning, only Afford A Rooter answered the phone. Marco arrived at 8:30 and went to work. While he was snaking the sewer line we discovered that the sewer pipe from the house to the main city sewer was very damaged. Marco at that point and Robin from Afford A Rooter showed their professionalism. They got permits and scheduled all the work. The crews that fixed the line were very professional and knowledgeable. They put up with all my questions and concerns. The job was completed on time and for less that the quoted price. I highly recommend Afford A Rooter.

Great price and very professional crew. I needed to have my clay pipe replaced from the house to the city sewer line and have yard clean-outs installed. Afford-A-Rooter was much less expensive than the rest of the plumbers I sought bids from. The crew arrived at 8:30am and were complete by 4:00pm. They repaired the sprinkler line they had to cut and left nice loose top soil for me to plant grass. Pablo, Pedro and Jaime were fast, professional and ran a great job site. I would recommend them to anyone needing any size plumbing work done.

I called Afford-A-Rooter from our subdivision news letter looking to have two main water valves replaced. They were able to schedule me in the next morning. Jason Dodge showed up on time in his window and replaced the valves for us. He was very professional, courteous, pays attention to detail and cleanup. I had mention something to him about us getting a new washer and dryer and that I found a small leak to the washer which he looked at and fixed for us at no extra charge! I wish I could give 6 stars. This review is a bit late coming. Last year I used Afford-a-Rooter to clear out a drain that another company charged me close to $500 to fix, then wouldnt honor a warranty. I called Afford-a-Rooter, they came out within a couple days. They found the problem, made it right for exactly the price they told me on the phone. I expected a little more, because that happens at times with home maintenance. I was truly thankful for these guys. The tech was awesome, and so was the office staff I spoke with. I manage rentals, so I work with contractors often, this company is top notch and has earned a return customer. If you need drains cleaned, or plumbing work, call this company. On Saturday, 3/19/2022 , I called Afford-A-Rooter to install a refrigerator shut-off valve so that my new refrigerator could be installed. I had also mistakenly shut off the hot water valve in my basement that started to leak. Jason came within the time frame he told me and fixed the leaking valve in my basement, completely replacing it with a new one.He also installed a refrigerator shut-off valve for me. He only had a plastic valve with him. It may have been better to wait and get the right valve because the plastic one started leaking overnight. I didn’t find out until the next day. By then, my hardwood floor was completely ruined with the water dripping from the leaking valve.On Monday, I called and texted Jason multiple times without getting a hold of him until I called the main office. I told him about the leak and sent the pictures I took of my kitchen floor. He came by after a few hours and replaced the leaking valve with a proper valve.I’m grateful for his help, but half of my kitchen floor is now ruined and unrepairable. I’m disappointed that the valve installation wasn’t done correctly the first time as advertised, especially after paying $300 for the service.UPDATE 6/16/2023: Im updating my review to 4 stars from 1 star originally. Even though it took a while to get this whole matter resolved, Trevor did reach out to make things right and it was greatly appreciated.

Everyone we interacted with from the company was courteous and professional. My home warranty company got me in contact with Afford-A-Rooter for 2 faucet leaks that were happening. April, who works in the office, and Jason, plumber, were both outstanding to work with! Jason came out that same night (around 7pm) though it was not an emergency to diagnose the issue. He then came out the next week to switch out my faucets - he is respectful, on-time and very neat. April has been great in promptly submitting the paperwork needed (and copying me) to the home warranty company. I would recommend their service!

I am happy with Afford a Rooter...I had a lot that needed to be done before guests came for Thanksgiving...first my sewer line needed replacement - Then once I had that scheduled to be replaced by Afford a Rooter, I found out my main water line to the house had burst a few months earlier - I found out with a huge water bill! The crew even took it in stride when my roommate accidentally let my Great Danes outside and they got rushed by a goofy puppy who loves everyone with a pulse. Fast, professional, reliable. When water started backing up in my basement, I thought all I needed was a rooter. Afford-A-Rooter was able to come out the same day I called. Rob the plumber was in contact immediately and let me know when he was on his way. He was very COVID aware and took great care to minimize any possibility of exposure. Rather than wasting time and money, he offered to send a camera down first too see what was really going on. Sure enough, my service main collapsed and he gave me a video for proof. Rob helped coordinate with my insurance and within only a few days an entire crew was digging a 15 feet deep trench in my yard. The crew was like a well oiled machine. They arrived early in the morning and worked dilligently. They put everything back together and even remembered to fix any irrigation pipes that were damaged along the way. I was rather dreading having to have my main sewer line repaired- especially with it being right around Christmas - but Afford-a-Rooter made it into a much more pleasurable than expected experience. Everyone involved: Trevor (the owner - who gave the original estimate); Luis (the construction crew leader); Chinto (co-worker of Luis); Sue (office mgr. - who scheduled the work & helped with the payment process); and Dee (office assistant) were a delight to work with in their particular aspect of the project. We are very pleased with the work that Afford-a-Router provided as well as the price.We head to replace the entire sewage pipe from inside the house to the street. They had to jack hammer out our cement floor to hook up the sewage line from our cast iron pipe. The crew Rigo, Andres, Alex and Ernesto had the entire process done and cleaned up in one day, with very little mess for us to clean up.They also, repaired our Sprinkler system and fixed a portion of our driveway at less then half the cost of our first estimate.Well done!We highly recommend this company for all of your plumbing needs!

I dont like leaving bad reviews, but the communication with myself and company has been terrible, i asked for 2 main sewer lines to be cleaned rootered, told rep at company and it couldnt be communicated to service rep. When job was finally done, iwasnt there its a rental, one tub was still holding water. Technician should have checked, that was the entire reason for the rootering. Now then send me a bill, ive called and emailed and i cant get a call back.. simple fix go snake drain in basement tub.10/20/22Update company decided to waive cost of snaking the sewer lines, it took sometime, to get with them , but they waived cost and were very friendly and apologetic abt situation. Changed review from poor to 4 stars.. need to work on communication. Thx

We had a flooded crawl space from the sewage system. Afford a rooter came out and started pumping out the water. He identified the source of the problem that caused the sewage tank to come apart and called a their plumber to come out to put it back together. They were fast and professional. They were they only ones that noticed the unplugged sump pump that caused the problem. The billed us 1/8 of the conservative estimate from the first company to do the cleanup let alone what the first plumber would have charged

Had a blockage in one of our drain pipes and AJ was able to come out before the time window initially given to us. We have a fairly complicated plumbing system in a duplex. The pipes are below the main sewer line so they all feed into a sewer ejector pump. He went above and beyond diagnosing the problem and explaining to me everything along the way. The problem ended up being a small blockage in one unit which he cleared out with no problem. We have had numerous issues with our plumbing and he was able to diagnose and fix it better than anyone else we have used. Im nic and I had a totally positive experience with these true pros. So rare these days to spend my hard earned money in an emergencey and be 100% satisfied. My main sewer line busted and I tried to dig and do it myself I rented the backhoe and spent a day digging. Home depots machine was incapable of getting deep enough but, that didnt even matter, there were so many things that I did wrong. I skipped a few steps trying to save a buck in these difficult times. Trever was open and honest , I knew he was a pro as I am a professional carpenter , I know whom to trust. Fast and efficient. A price I couldnt beat, most of all....i was comfortable with price and all who were involved. Thank you Affordable..!!!!!d fix my busted sewer line, I had trever come look at it, instantly I was confident in his no nonsence approach. I am a seasoned carpenter and I know whom to trust. 2 days Before Christmas My hot water heater developed a leak at the shutoff valve leading into the tank, I thought that I might be able to fixit myself but upon reasearching how to make the repair I realized I didnt have the time or the tools to handle the job so I reached out and called Afford A Rooter. I am very happy to say that this was a great decision. They sent out a technician named James who was on time and very professional. We talked over our options and decided to repalce the existing hot water heater with a brand new unit since ours was over 10 years old. James had the old heater out and the new one installed in a little over an hour. The whole experience was as painless and headache free as any home repair could be. Needless to say we are very pleased and had plenty of hot water for the hoidays. Thanks again James and Affford A Rooter, we will be using you again when we need you.
