    We started our week discovering the heat exchanger in our 15 year old furnace was cracked and therefore a total furnace replacement was required. Fortunately the cold hadnt quite arrived so we reached out for several quotes. Coopers quote came in the middle, but what we were quoted was top of the line, where the lowest quotes were lower end models as well as expressed concerns that they wont be able to get us a unit for a while or may not be able to complete the replacement for a couple weeks. Cooper had the system available and were able to squeeze us in on the same week! The entire experience with Cooper was top notch, from the initial quote to the install. We ended up having a new furnace installed with some additional duct work, our AC unit replaced with a heat pump, and had the 20+ year old water heater replaced all at the same time. Cooper was able to get these all installed and operational in one day, there team worked non-stop until it was done and did an outstanding job. They left the work areas cleaner than they left and were able to redesign our mechanical room with a better layout. So far we just had the new system for the weekend, but we notice a massive improvement in our whole house temperatures. With the addition of the duct work for another return, we no longer have a 15-20 degree difference between the main floor and the finished basement, the whole house is comfortable and consistent in temperature. Everyone at Cooper was professional and courteous and we are so impressed by the hard work of getting this all installed in a 12 hour day (including taking the time at the end of the day to make sure everything was cleaned up extremely well). We will not hesitate to call Cooper for future plumbing or HVAC needs.

    Service tech came out to inspect our boiler in our new home. He was courteous, professional, communicative, and knowledgeable. I was overall happy with the service.After he left, the boiler was firing differently. It was much louder and had a much louder thud as it fired.I initially turned off the boiler and then returned to take a glance at it the next day. The technician forgot to put one of the covers back on the boiler. Once I put the part back in its place, the boiler started to fire normally.It was the last visit of the day, so I suspect it was something he missed and was not a big deal. Id use them again.

Our sales consultant William even went the above and beyond by making house call to help us resolve an issue with our water heater just because he wanted to help. They are one of the best contractors that Ive ever worked with in the Denver area. Their techs are always on-time, professional and are able to tell me upfront what needs to be done and how much it will cost. Plus, if there is ever a problem they immediately respond. I highly recommend hiring Cooper to solve anyones HVAC, plumbing or electrical issues!

    There were four estimates that came in for a new air conditioner and heater. We chose a this Costco backed company and were not disappointed. The service team, with James Cook being the lead technician, worked extremely hard installing the air conditioner in a tight place on the side of our home. The technician team decided to get a crane to change out the units. The furnace was installed in a reasonable amount of time and the basement was thoroughly cleaned.When looking for air conditioner / furnace company give them a chance to provide an estimate.

    Am happy with the repair of my hot water heater. It took awhile to order the part and then to schedule time to repair. It was during the holiday season which effected getting a part and getting time. But Jamaree and his apprentice did an amazing job and charged the expected rate. Asked for another quote on plumbing and hope they can do it for me.

    Darian and Ali from Cooper did a nice job installing a new H2O heater for us. The entire organization was responsive and helpful. They answer the phone when you call unlike many other providers right now. They completed the job a week after coming out for the initial bid. We asked for 4 bids and only got 2 responses. The 2 non responders were large city wide plumbing and heating contractors, somewhat surprised by the non response.

    Overall my experience was very good and Hannah Balenti Team James Cook Team were on time and extremely polite and professional. They put down protective mats, shoes covers and accommodated a special request I had. They spent 2-days at our place and got the system in place with no major issues.My only complaint was better trash management of old equipment and new supplies. My dog was been finding and chewing on old foam insulation and small pieces of building supplies in the yard hours to days afterwards.

    Cooper Heating & Cooling quickly replied to my service inquiry and arranged a service call within less than 72 hours of my original inquiry. The technician, Joe, arrived on time, quickly assessed the problem with my a/c, and provided a solution. The issue was remedied in less than three hours, and my system was up and running. Joe also gave me great advice on maintaining my equipment and troubleshooting future potential issues. I was also sent a salesperson to provide a reasonable quote to replace my aging furnace and cooling systems when needed.I will use their services in the future.

    Cooper does good work - just be mindful of quoted and scheduled work. They do not adjust their invoice if they overestimate labor time and will default payment to the quote. Can be a LOT of money for a 2-hour difference in labor costs if you’re not careful!

    GREAT COMPANY TO WORK WITH FROM START TO FINISH. I decided to replace my two HVAC systems (2 Furnaces and 2 ACs), and I had 4 companies give me quotes. Including one that I have trusted for years. Out of all 4, Cooper was the only one who did an airflow analysis of my entire home. Mick was my project manager, and he looked at every corner of my house to see how we could improve the airflow for comfort and to save money, including the attic, and not just replacing the HVAC systems like all the other companies did. The best part is that he came in at the same price as all other companies, and we ended up adding three new returns, a whole home fan and a steam humidifier for just a bit more than just the HVAC systems from the other companies. Cooper was also the only company to offer to replace pipes and tubes to help with airflow. The project team ( Dylan, Ben, and Jordan) were awesome. The job took four days due to the complexity and multiple HVACs needed, but they were not an inconvenience whatsoever. I work from home, and they always showed respect if I was on a conference call and would do work that was not loud during those times. The work was top-notch as well, didnt cut corners, and kept me informed throughout the project. Finally, the drywall/painting team came in and made everything look like nothing had ever happened. The customer service from this company is great and very rare to find nowadays. Every person I dealt with gets a 5 star. Please include Cooper when getting quotes for any type of heating and cooling projects. You will not regret it.

    We’ve been with COOPER since we bought our new furnace . They always let us know when it’s time for service before we need it , Which is always helpful, considering when something is not broken it can easily slip from your mind. Carey was our tech this time around and he was Fantastic. He sadly got a flat tire on the way to our home and I can’t believe that he was still able to make it within the Service appointment window.     Brett Maytubby gave me an estimate almost an year ago and when I called a few weeks back to get the work done, he agreed to do the work for the same estimate and in fact gave me a discount as well. Brett and Destiny installed a new sub panel next to our main panel, a Tesla car charger circuit and a dedicated circuit for a space heater in our basement. The work done was clean and Brett personally made sure that everything worked great, from helping with configuring the Tesla charger to making sure it charged my Tesla as it should. A completely satisfied customer! Will definitely recommend Cooper in general and Brett Maytubby in particular for any electrical project.

From Josh the estimator who was awesome to work with (great communicator) to Ricardo Romero the lead installer (and his helper) I would recommend Cooper Heating & Air. The electricians were also friendly and worked super fast to complete their portion of the install. Josh was patient with all my questions, and never gave a pushy sales guy vibe. Ricardo kept me informed of their progress and provided information about the install process. There was a little snag towards the end with an equipment part missing from the box at manufacturing, which caused about a two hour extended install day, but Ricardo handled the issue and demonstrated great work ethic to the end.     Justin showed up on time, was professional, courteous and easy to talk to. He ran through my AC and I told him about a previous checkup I had where they told me about a leak, needing a charge, a cleaning of the coils, and it was going to be $1500. Justin came in, checked everything and there is no leak, nothing is needed, fixed the problem I did have, and it only cost me $200. I gave him some tomatoes from my garden, he is the only one I would call now for help with my heating and cooling. A+

    Cooper is my go to HVAC services company. Over the years they have been quick to service any issues I have and at an affordable price. Latest problem was the blower not activating for heat, cooling or humidifier. They called me back at 7:15, had guys here by 8:30 and despite having to drive to pick up a new controller board they were back at my house with everything working again by 11!

They even had a handyman team who could patch up the drywall and paint any spots that needed touching up afterwards.     Written April 4, 2024. Carey Gross serviced my Lennox A/C last summer. He was prompt, personable, informative, and detailed in his explanations. Today, he returned with a person he was training to pull and clean the units blower wheel and motor (something he had taken pictures of and recommended I do last year). Today, when pulled out, the blower and motor were very dirty with dust and dirt, representing 9 years of accumulation.I could tell Carey knew what he was doing by the explanations he was giving his trainee. He was respectful and patient in his interactions with his trainee and thoroughly explained what to do and why. Despite teaching someone else, Carey finished a two-hour job in about half that time.If I were one of Careys students/trainees, Id consider Carey a good teacher. Carey seems to love to teach.The price charged was competitive. I was expecting to pay more than I did. Carey was as careful explaining the price details as answering my other questions.

    Cooper was incredible. We had a mini split system done through them and he came out because we had mice in there. He called me when he was on the way.     We had intermittent problems with our smart thermostat. It would go on and off at times and then the display would completely go off. It was during a string of 100 degree days (of course!).     Matthew, the tech was efficient and friendly. However, I called Cooper in March, for an April maintenance check on my heat pump. I was told that they were booked out until June. So, I scheduled, asking if you were open on Saturday, as that seemed odd for a maintenance date. I was told that you were open on Saturdays. Then, in June, when it was a no call, no show, I called to see what the issue was. I was told that the appointment was actually in July. Then, the appointment was cancelled and rescheduled twice after that. It is highly disappointing to plan time off around Coopers maintenance schedule, to have it cancelled and rescheduled numerous times.

    I used Cooper Heating & Air for a new A/C install thru Costco. They were quick to schedule my initial appt and afterward my installation - all within 10 days. The team of young gentlemen at my home for installation were courteous to me and respectful of my home/property. They made sure to let me know how the install would proceed and est. time of install. As a woman that was home alone for the install I felt completely at ease with their team being at my home, IFYKYK. They cleaned up the work area and left it better than before.     Highly recommend Cooper to anyone looking to get a quote about anything HVAC related.We originally were put in contact with Cooper via Costco as they have partnered with them for the installation of Lennox products. Thus when they sent someone out to look at our space and give us an estimate, originally they focused mostly on Lennox products so we could be able to get the 10% Costco card with our purchase. After talking about options though, my wife and I decided we were more interested in heat pumps, specifically a model that has an inverter. Cooper did a fantastic job listening to all our requests and supplying us with as much information as possible to make the decision (shout out to Mick for being helpful and attentive). By the time we decided, I believe we were sent five or six estimates for different models. Better yet, this was all done very timely. Having that information in hand made our decision making much easier and we were able to pick the product that best suited our needs.After picking, installation was scheduled for a couple weeks out, which was great! The turnaround time between selecting and installation was one of the shortest Ive ever experienced for a home project. (Its possible we just got lucky or its not a busy season yet, but no complaints here!)The day of installation the Cooper team came out and did a fantastic job. Our main installer, Jessie Duran, was fantastic. Super professional, kind, took the time to answer all of our ridiculous questions, and helped make sure we felt comfortable with the work they did. At the end of the day he walked us through our new thermostat to make sure we would know how to make any adjustments or changes. And Im pretty sure they left the space they worked in cleaner than when the day started!Weve only had our system for less than a day, and Ill update this review if anything changes regarding our experience with either the system or Cooper, but as of now I highly recommend this team!(And if anyone is considering a heat pump, based on my very limited experience so far Id say: do it! Definitely recommend a model that uses inverter technology (variable speed is a game changer). I know that the common line youll hear now is how electric is more expensive than gas in our area, but (a) who knows how long that will be the case, (b) here in Colorado theres a good chance solar panels would make sense which would severely drop (if not eliminate) the cost of running the heat pump, and (c) you can always opt for a dual fuel system (heat pump + furnace) if youre concerned. We went with the Daikin Fit for our home and Im loving how comfortable our space is and how quiet it operates compared to our old system. Just make sure if youre looking into a new HVAC system you also take the time to make sure your insulation is adequate! A good HVAC system is only as good as the insulation your house has for keeping those temperatures stable!)

    My project included the installation of a heat pump, air conditioning, a new thermostat, and a whole-home fan -- a major job. The project manager was clear, articulate, knowledgeable and available to answer all of my questions. The installers were competent and polite and worked until the job was finished, so that it only took one day. Everything worked perfectly and, four days out, everything is still working as expected. The project manager, whom I just hung up from, remains happy to answer my questions, as well. Cooper H&A has done everything to make my life easier, right down to arranging for the city inspections for me. I am completely satisfied with their work.

    I will change this rating when my situation is corrected. I paid a LOT for a new HVAC and AC unit from Cooper through Costco and was assured by the salesperson that my unit would be much better than what I had and that my heating and cooling issues would be resolved. He assured me the upstairs would be as cool as the basement in the summer and warm in the winter as well (instead of it being sweltering in the basement and freezing upstairs during the winter and sweltering upstairs and cool in the basement in the summer). I immediately realized that was *not* the case and called my sales guy who couldn’t even be bothered to return my call. I then called Cooper and have called and had them out several times and they have never corrected the problem they assured me they would fix. I called them again last week and said I needed someone out because my house is now 84 degrees with my thermostat set at 72 and it WONT go lower than that during the day! The guy I spoke to actually had the audacity to tell me I would have to pay the $119 service fee?! I told him I wouldn’t be paying it and then apparently he saw this has been an ongoing issue for over a year now… So today my house wouldn’t get cooler than 86 degrees, I am having migraines because of the heat in my home and even the basement is too warm. The guy is scheduled to come out on Monday so hopefully they can fix this issue because if not I will be contacting Costco, BBB and will take further actions to resolve this. Also, had Arapahoe County out and within 3 minutes they told me there was a major flaw in the install that the seals were done improperly and that was only adding to the cooling problems. Nobody should have to sit in a home that is 86 degrees waiting for service when I was assured this wouldn’t be an issue. Also, because my “old” unit was larger than the home needed, it actually cooled my home better than my “new” unit, go figure.They came out and told me the AC had tripped the breaker and installed something to prevent that - AC is running well now.

They seemed to have fun with each other and the work was completed in a timely manner.We had a damaged unit and a misunderstanding on sizing both issues were handled by the install and sales team quickly and the resolution was agreed to by myself and these teams before any work continued. I was impressed that the install team stopped and asked for my input before proceeding with any part of the installation to make sure it was all as agreed to.They even cleaned up and left the area used in better shape than I had prepared it for them. All in all, the best home product experience I have had.

    I wasnt initially sold on Cooper after my experience with my sales guy. But boy, am I glad I opted to use them for my furnace replacement, heat pump install, and electrical panel upgrade. In short, a number of their employees went above and beyond and left me feeling not only satisfied but deeply grateful. They are also the Costco-affiliate, which provided peace-of-mind (and incentives), and they are one of very few companies that do the Denver Climate Action Rebate - which saved me over $3000 on the work. I dont often take the time to leave a review unless something is exceptional, one way or the other. Cooper absolutely hit that mark, in the exceptionally good category.The longer version: I discovered two issues after the work was complete, neither of which was clearly related to the job. (One was the dryer vent line; the other a leaky hot water heater.) I did have to plead my case to get them to agree to come out without the risk of a diagnostic fee charge (I might have been writing a different review if wed stayed stuck there...), but they agreed to send someone to take a look.The technician, Dan, took at look and then immediately reassured me that he would take care of the dryer vent issues for me. We both agreed that hot water heater leakage was very likely unrelated. (He did offer a few suggestions for what I can do to help mitigate/protect myself for the moment.) He and his associate were fantastic, fixing/replacing/cleaning the vent line and testing the dryer to make sure it is working again. He was kind, professional, empathetic, and I felt immense gratitude for him (and Cooper) taking such good care of a first-time customer.And then there is the Andy, the electrician who did my new panel. Andy was one of the biggest reasons I decided to go with Cooper in the first place. Throughout the process, he could not have been kinder or more generous with his time and explanations. He repeatedly went above and beyond, most notably today, when he took the time to diagnose - and then perform a simple fix - on my house fan in the attic, at no charge. A dear friend of mine, who is going through horrific family health issues at the moment, had been trying to figure out that damn fan for over a decade now, and today I got to text her and tell her its finally working correctly. As I told Andy before he left today, in the grand scheme of things, a working attic fan is fairly insignificant. But his kindness today helped provide a small lift to someone going through something incredibly hard. He made my day. He brightened my friends day. I am deeply grateful.If your driver is price, or quality, or service, you can feel good about choosing Cooper.

    Had a great experience with HVAC service from Cooper recently. They were very helpful (and friendly) over the phone, quick scheduling, and their technician (Lee was ours) was wonderful. Quick and efficient turn around on service, great communication that allowed for easy scheduling, and a good explanation of the issue we were having was provided. We had to have our circuit board replaced and even though we have a very cheap furnace, it wasnt an issue to get parts in very quick order and get rescheduled for the install. Very pleased overall and Ill be recommending Cooper to others for quick and well priced HVAC services.

    As a follow up, after much discussion and comparison shopping, along with multiple neighbors recommendations, Cooper HVAC installed our new Lennox system yesterday. The quality of workmanship, attention to detail, professionalism and pride was evident from moment one. Senior supervisor Kevin took on the challenge of adapting the install to fit our enclosure. Taking a look from every angle he turned a problem into a well thought out, time and money saving solution. His able colleague and team leader, Matt, took on changing over our internal mechanical room and, like an artist, meticulously crafted a new system to install the coil as well as re-route our humidifier and drains. By the way, can you say, clean as a whistle? Youd never know they were here. Electrical team members Alejandro and Marcos guided me thru the newly updated code issues and we worked together to ensure that everything was done accordingly, both from a practical and aesthetic point of view. Always willing to answer my numerous questions the entire Cooper Green Team never made me feel like just another customer; rather as a valued member of the extended family. A shout out, too, to Jordan in the finance side of things. We went back and forth, and will do so again on Monday I am sure, to work out the kinks between Costco and Citi. Her patience, care and placid demeanor calmed our concerns each time we spoke. Lastly, to Sebastian...is it possible there is anyone, anywhere who answers the phone with such a friendly, inviting demeanor? He had to put up with a number of my calls and like everyone at Cooper, never made it feel like an imposition. Products come and go, mechanical reliability is too often a moving target. But the human touch, that can be ever lasting. So it was, and is, with Cooper. My mother always said you get what you pay for. The County Safety Office inspected it the next day and said everything was very well done.     I had a water heater leak and high water pressure coming into my home. I called Cooper and Aaron Chavez serviced my problems. He installed a new water pressure regulator and replaced my water heater in about 3 hours time. He was very professional, skilled, and polite. His work was methodical and he knew what he was doing.     This is a fantastic company that does outstanding work and delivers on all that it promises. The project manager, Will; the installation supervisor, Mike; the lead technician, Ivan and his crew; the plumber, Casey; the electrician, Brett and his crew; and the inspections and permitting manager, Kathi, far exceeded my expectations. They were respectful of my home, courteous, and professional, and explained the entire process from start to finish. They answered all my questions (I had plenty!) with lots of patience and a desire to make sure I understood the process and the new heating system. To ensure we were warm before installation, Will had two space heaters delivered to my home to add to the two I already had. The county inspector spoke very highly of the quality of the installation and the company. I am thrilled with my new heating system and ecstatic that its efficiency has dramatically decreased my heating bill! I appreciate that they came to my rescue when my boiler failed, and I look forward to a continued relationship with this fantastic company!

    Cooper assessed the possibility of moving our poorly-located thermostat and gave options for moving it in the future. Its not realistic to do it at this time, and we appreciated their frank and professional assessment.Im editing this review a couple of years later - we ended up having a short in our electrical wire leading to the thermostat and that made it realistic and economical to move the thermostat. They did it in a couple of hours and with almost no mess for us to clean up - just the hole where the old thermostat was. We were very happy with both the price and the work done.

    Yesterday we had a visit from a Cooper technician, Carey Gross, to perform annual maintenance on our AC. He was very personable and knowledgeable and keep me apprised regarding the service timeline. We have two Lennox products from Cooper (AC and boiler) that are a few years old, which were purchased through the Costco program. Both have consistently met our expectations. While at our house, I showed Carey a small leak that had just appeared in our hot water heater, to which he applied a special tape to temporarily fix it. Then he called his office and arranged for someone to come and check out the problem, which will occur in a few days. In general, Cooper technicians are timely, professional and well-qualified. They go the extra mile in terms of communicating with customers, as we just experienced. I have recommended Cooper to many folks. Great job, Carey!

    Ive dealt with many contractors over my 80 years and have never experienced such an efficient crew as the one from Cooper Heating & Cooling. They were very friendly yet very professional. Im a retired aircraft mechanic and was interested in the technical end of the whole installation and they very courteously took their time to accommodate me.     Cooper handled our AC issue professionally and very promptly which required a new furnace, coil and AC condenser which was greatly appreciated. They have great front end systems that make the process very easy and they did the scheduling over a weekend. My biggest issue is pricing was very high. I got another bid for the same equipment that was thousands of dollars cheaper from a competing company I know to be very reliable but they could not install the unit for a couple weeks and my renter could not wait given the current heat spell.

    Carey was prompt and thorough. He checked out the inside ceiling cassettes and the outside unit. He even cleaned needles and pine cones out of the rain gutter to insure that the gutter would not overflow when he cleaned the screens on the outdoor unit.
