I have a solar system from a different installer that is no longer in business. Recently my inverter failed and I was at a loss. I called Idahome Energy for help. Even though they did not install my system they were more than happy to assist me. Over the course of a couple of weeks they answered all of my questions, helped me with the process of getting a replacement inverter from the manufacturer and installed the new inverter on my schedule at a very reasonable price. I do not regret getting solar I only regret I didnt get my system from Idahome Energy. I cannot recommend them enough for your solar needs. Thank you again for getting my system up and generating.

Their work efficiency was great but theyre planning and scheduling was not so good. I had to call them multiple times to find out about work schedule, installation times, co-contractor show up times, product storage locations prior to installation, Post installation inspections, HOA required documentation submission and homeowners notification of approval by HOA.

The overall experience with Idahome Energy was good, the people were always courteous, and knowledgeable. Idahome Energy set up the entire process, submitting the permit requests, sending the letter to the HOA, everything. My HOA contacted me and did not contact Idahome Energy, so that slowed the process. Whenever I asked a question it was either answered right away or gotten back to me with the answer. Installation went smooth ish, some minor hiccups that probably couldnt be avoided. The only thing I wish was better was the, whats the next step. Didnt know at the time what PTO meant, its Permission To Operate from Idaho Power, need that before the system gets turned on.

I had Idahome install my original solar in May 22 and since that time, Ive only paid the connection fee for power so they sized the system correctly. Install was quick and they did a nice job fitting it all on the south side of my roof. Ive been looking at trying to be more self sufficient and so they were advertising the TeslaWall 3 so gave them a call and they came out and were moving forward with that now. Easy to work with and it was a no brainer to have them do the Battery system.

Idahome Solar has exceeded our expectations from the moment we met them.We had been thinking about solar for a few years and when we purchased our new home in Nampa ID it was time to take the next step.Throughout the entire process, Idahome Solar managed the project and did all the work for us. They sat down with us and designed a system that met our needs for almost total energy independence. We were kept informed throughout the process as they submitted the necessary permits and worked with the local entities to get the project completed.Once the installation was complete - the installation crew were top notch, no wasted time or effort and they answered any questions we had. We had a few during installation but they took the time to explain things and did so very professionally. Zack from Idahome Solar walked me through the installation of an app that allows us to monitor the system. The app was a breeze to install and Zack had me monitoring the system in a few minutes. It was really that easy.We whole hardily recommend that if you are looking for information or are ready to take a step toward energy independence reach out to Idahome Solar. Im betting they will exceed your expectations like they did ours.

We chose not to go with solar as the position of the panels were mostly on the front of our house. Idahome was very helpful in making our decision. From what I researched the panels are high quality and reliable as well as efficient. They were always on time and easy to schedule appointments. My only complaint is with some of the transparency. The interest rate they had was really good. It was only when I questioned the price competitiveness that they said they could bring down the price by changing the interest rate. I would expect them to show all that detail up front (like if I an paying points on the loan). Also when I asked for a breakdown of costs (labor and materials) there was a hesitancy to provide it. If solar worked for us, we probably would have chosen them, just make sure you understand all the details.

We travel much through out the month, lately. WOW are we happy!

I have solar panels and I love them. However the company we got them through is hard to reach to answer my questions. I have met Lou a few times now at networking event. All the representatives that we worked with were professional and very informative on what our solar system would do for us. They explained the whole procedure from the installation to throwing the switch on for the first time. We were impressed that even though the weather was horrendous the day of installation, they did all that they could do safely that day. It was windy and snowy with gusts of wind that particular day and they explained that they couldnt safely put the solar panels on that day. They came back the next day and finished installing the panels. We are very satisfied with the whole procedure, as well as the great customer service that we have experienced. Thank you!!

We had Idahome Solar install solar panels for us in May 2023. They handled everything : design, HOA review, and permitting from the City of Star and our power company. Ive never experienced a contractor of ANY expertise who kept us so informed as to what was happening and future steps, kept so much on schedule, and explained the operation of the new system like Idahome did. My wife and I were extremely impressed by the professionalism of each and every one of this companys management and staff. The drone mapping of our roof for the design was especially interesting to watch. We also had a charing station installed for a potential future electric or hybrid vehicle. The app for our cellephones was a nice touch: we can monitor the power generation of our system from anywhere giving us useful information about the generation at the moment, by the day, month, and yearly.Our monthly power bill dropped to $5.21 per month and remained at that level all thru the summer, our peak power usage season due to air conditioning. All of this $5.21 was for taxes and a power company service charge - none for power. It would be an understatement to say that my wife and I were impressed with Idahome Solar. We spoke with a few companies about going solar. We choose Idahome Solar because of the separate financing option that didn’t require us to use any of the equity in our home. Overall, our experience was positive. Tyler was available and quick to answer the numerous questions we had. The installation crew he uses was fantastic, very professional. We had one hiccup that caused a few headaches in that we had two different plans that were approved and the correct plan was not initially installed, but once we realized the error everyone was very quick to get it resolved.

I was not initially interested in getting solar panels on my home. My biggest concern was how it would look. Our Idahome Solar representative Blake Holmes took plenty of time answering all of our questions and helped us understand how everything would work. He was also very willing to set up the panels for minimal visibility. The install the was prompt, quick and respectful, even with my kids. The panels are not very noticable where they have been placed.

Idahome solar AAA++++Tyler is one of the most knowledge gentlemen that I have spoken about solar power, Tyler brought lots information, answered all our question and provided a great service. Contacted Idahome as they were the firm that handled the security system for the house that we had just purchased and moved into in Boise. A representative came and took us through the security system, and then asked if we had some interest in solar. We did, but hadnt pursued anything yet. He made a presentation; we were sold! Process was fully explained. Installation went smoothly. Had a malfunction that the warranty covered. Repairs handled expeditiously. Only issue is that they are so busy, their call back contact/communication can be delayed. Great firm! Highly recommend them!

They did my solar pannels and pit them where i wanted them , the power received from them is good . The delivery crew could be more carefull as one panel had to be replaced befor it was even installed and i have a couple other pannels that have cracks in them but they function properly as i am told , but i dont know for myself . I would perfer to have what i paid for , not broken pannels but undamaged ones . They were exspencive so i would like them to be perfect

Once I contacted Idaho Power the admitted their the issue was on their side and not with Idahome Solar. I would recommend this company to my closest friends and family.
