THIS! This is the type of company you want to hire. I called them up on the weekend and an electrician answered the phone. I talked him through the problem. He said, let me save you some money and gave me some suggestions for something to try as an easy fix. I tried it and it worked. Obviously, everyone wont have a problem as simple as mine, but I really appreciate any company nowadays that cares enough about the customer to take the time and effort to try to save them a few bucks and teach them to fish for themselves. While I didnt get any work done with them this time, Ive added them to my short list of preferred contractors. Ill definitely be calling them again.

Todd was a huge help to me over the phone. I had no power at multiple outlets and he walked me through possible causes via pics and conversations. He pointed me in the right direction and I would not have figured this out on my own. He saved me a big repair bill. I highly recommend High Ground Electric!!

I had an excellent experience with this company. After contacting numerous electricians in town, High Ground was the only one available within the week. Despite the distance, they traveled from Boise to Mountain Home to diagnose and resolve electrical issues in my tiny home on wheels. Initially hesitant due to the unique nature of my dwelling, their exceptional knowledge and ability to troubleshoot left me thoroughly impressed. They successfully solved and fix my electrical issues and the electricity in my tinyhome was working great! I appreciated being able to directly communicate with the electrician over the phone beforehand, and their thoroughness ensured a successful resolution. I wouldnt hesitate to enlist their services again in the future.

High Ground Electric did an excellent job of wiring our hot tub in 2020. This week we had a power outage and I could not get the hot tub to turn on. I called High Ground Electric at 8 p.m. and Todd called me back and talked be through what to do! He was a true life saver--excellent customer service!!!

Just want to say thanks to Todd at High Ground Electric. He has helped me out the last several years on several occasions with our electrical issues and today was no different. Woke up with no water from the well. After an hour the issue was resolved. Nice to be able to count on and depend on someone over the years.

Needed help finding out why 2 of my rooms had no power. Couldn’t fix or find the problem myself so called for help. Was told they could could have someone out in a couple days. The next day they called to say they had an opening and was wondering if they could swing by. Took a little bit to find the issue because they had to crawl around in the attic. The electricians were nice and explaining everything to me as they tried to diagnose the problem. The issue was a loose wire nut in the attic from my fathers do it yourself renovation’s. In the end my power was restored. Was expecting an outrageous bill but ended up being a lot less than expected. Would recommend them to anyone needing electrical work done. Thank you!

Todd is so knowledgeable and was able to help us over the phone. We were out of power at 10:00 pm. We needed sleep and our alarm clocks to get us up in the morning. We needed hot water for showers, the list goes on. You dont realize how dependent you are on electricity until you dont have it anymore. We couldnt imagine trying to sleep in this heat without our air conditioning. Todd was able to walk us through our circuit breaker issues and restored our power in ten minutes. It was operator error on our part, but Todd was pleasant, unhurried, educational, and friendly. What a relief that he was available and willing at 10:00 pm. Thank you so much Todd, we all appreciate what you did for us!

High Ground was super responsive and smart with how they helped us trouble shoot our problem, by text, and advised us to call Idaho Power. The problem ended up being an Idaho Power issue so we did not need to have work done on our end. High Ground made us feel cared during our power outage, in the evening. Thank you!!

I had an issue with a gfci breaker tripping all of a sudden. Of course it happened at 10:30 pm on a Friday night. I looked up these guys and it said 24 hour service, so i gave them a ring. The gal that answered the phone was friendly and awesome, told me she would have Todd call me right back to help out. Within about 5 minutes, Todd called me back and was able to help me find a bad outdoor plug in that was tripping my gfci in my master bath. I would recommend them to anyone without any question. I will also be using them from now on when i have any issues with my electrical. I offered to compensate him for his time on the phone (about 20 minutes or so) but he refused. Thanks Todd for the awesome service and friendly help on a late Friday night!

Todd is an incredible business owner. He went above and beyond to assist my husband and I with our electricity issues! We were having issues with our outlets dying and he assisted us by determining what we needed to do to identify the broken outlet as well as detailed instructions to fix it from home. I would recommend this electrician to anyone who needed a trustworthy business owner to do honest work.

I have called 10 plus electricians today, all with either no response or someone telling me they are booked out weeks. Todd was graciously able to help me by phone without charging extra to come out to my place. I was back in power in minutes. Most other companies would likely send someone out and double charge you for the pleasure of weekend service but he fixed my issue with a phone call that lasted less than 5 minutes. Besides the prompt and excellent repair service I received, my repair person, Dave, was the most courteous, considerate, and efficient repairperson Ive encountered in years! Oh, and the cost of what I had done was less than half of the quoted cost I received from another company. IF there were more than 5 stars, Id give more!!

I have never needed to call an electrician before and unfortunately tonight was the first. I tried calling some of the other companies and either got no answer at all or they had no one able to come out tonight. Once I called High ground they answered immediately and the level of quality and humanity I received was incredible. If I ever need electrical services again tthey will be my first call. Very good experience with company. I wanted to supply particular exhaust fans, and owner was very responsive and helpful thinking through the options to ensure what I bought would work. The two electricians that worked on our project were polite and professional, and the installations finished appearance was great. Charge for the work was quite reasonable. Highly recommended.

Yesterday, came home from Christmas vacation to discover our pump was not working! Hence, no water in the house! Sparing all the details that lead me to High Ground, they were here in a matter of hours and Donald got down in the mud to repair some old and roached wiring! Aside from being extremely knowledgeable and efficient, Donald was great to work with. We live on rural acreage and Im a curious homeowner and always wanting to learn WHY something broke and how to fix it. Donald shared much as to the WHY of this mess, and detailed how he was fixing it... That right there means a lot to me...So, THANKS High Ground!Besides this review, I shared their info with a good friend whos a plumber, thinking he needs High Ground in his toolbox of outsourced techs to call in unusual situations!

My electricity was out in my separate garage. I attempted resetting breaker switches. That did not help. After calling High Ground Electric, they mentioned resetting GFI on outlets. That was the solution. High Ground helped without having to come.I will certainly remember High Ground next time I need help and will recommend them to my friends and family.

Identified that our original contractor had installed faulty wiring and an inadequate breaker, fixed both, and was on his way for a very reasonable cost. Over was up and running in no time. I called this electric company after a lot of companies didn’t answer, the owner answered and was in Boise I’m in the North, but he asked me to take pictures of everything, then I couldn’t believe it he just told me what was wrong.
