I recently contacted 4 Handyman companies to get a bid on siding that was splitting due to the Idaho heat in the summer. After getting all the bids, I chose Andrew working with A1 Handyman. He was very experienced with this issue and talked through all the repairs he would make in order to return this portion of my house to its original look when I moved in 8 years ago. When it came to scheduling, Andrew was able to do the repairs within one week of first coming to my house. He showed up on time and took down some of the materials and went to get boards, chalk and paint that would match perfectly. He went to work and completed all the necessary repairs one hour earlier than he expected. I would go out to check his work and despite the heat of the day, he was always working. Andrew stopped work and checked with me to see if I was okay with the progress of the work. He did an awesome job and I couldnt be more pleased. I highly recommend A1 Handyman, their work is outstanding. Good pricing and knowledgable of the needed work. Andrew - Thanks so much.

I have used A1 Handyman for many years and have always been very happy with their work. When I have home repairs I always call them because I know they produce excellent work and will be satisfied with the quality. I wont use anyone else. They listen, give advice and thoroughly explain the process. They are professional, knowledgeable, trustworthy, and are excellent craftsman. I will continue to use A1 Handyman in the future.

Needed 4 new smoke alarms installed and called Jeff around 4PM and he arrived at 7PM and installed them in less than 1/2 hour. He was very pleasant, fast and competent. We would highly recommend him for anything. While he was here we showed him our faucet in the kitchen that was loose and he quickly repaired that too. He did a great job and will definitely call him again with any repairs that we may have. If you need a Handyman this is the one to call.

My neighbors hired A1 Handyman to repair the fence between our houses. Dave came to my door to ask if he could go in my backyard to work on the fence. I asked him to not shut the gate all the way when he was done because the latch is broken. I asked him if fixing the gate was something he could do, Id contact the company for a quote. He said hed take a look at it and let me know when he was done. Dave came to my door and told me that he went ahead and fixed the gate since it was a simple, 5-minute fix. Absolutely made my day to get the gate fixed! Dave was so nice and so professional. A1 Handyman will be the first call I make when I need projects done and Ill absolutely recommend them.

Great experience with A1 Handyman. Jeff promptly called me back to schedule the drywall repair job and confirmed the appointment the night before.Jeff and Dino arrived five minutes early and got right to work. The end result on the knockdown texture of my new ceiling is a perfect match to the surrounding texture! They took their time to get everything right, from hanging plastic sheeting around the work area and floor to the cleanup at the end. And their pricing is very affordable especially considering the level of service.

I recently used A1 to repair some hose bibs that werent installed correctly and froze. After making an appointment Jeff called back and asked if we could move it up, which was great. On the day of the appointment Jeff called to advise that they were running a little late, which I appreciated.Jeff and Dino were very easy to deal with, knowledgeable, and got my chore done quickly. Would highly recommend.

I had an issue with a fire alarm in the garage, made an appointment with an electrician who didnt show up, and I contacted Jeff. He was very prompt, came the same day, spent a lot of time although it was about & PM, and he was tired, and diagnosed the problem. He came when he said he was going to come, kept me informed about the progress of obtaining parts, was knowledgeable, and honest, and I recommend him wholeheartedly. Now I dont need to call around when I need something done, Ill call Jeff and I know it will be taken care of.

Jared came out and fixed our vinyl fence. Seems old willow tree roots were warping the fence and pulling the corner post out. Jared worked so hard to uncover the posts and expose thick roots that had to be hacked through. He then reset everything and straightened the corner post. Was really hard work. But he got it fixed. His corner post is more sound now than the rest of the posts. Very happy with his hard work and pleasant, positive attitude. Thanks.

Had a leaky faucet that feeds water to the toilet, couldnt even turn the faucet off because it was so old. As long as I was at it, decided to have a new (comfort height) toilet installed along with fixing the leak. I love the new toilet, the leak is fixed and they also installed a new outside hose bib and fixed the other leaky outside faucet. All work completed in a timely manner. Easy to contact them, they called to verify the appointment location and time, were on time and tasks completed quickly. Ill use them again. I didnt even have to go toilet shopping, I just told him what I wanted and he brought it with him.

These guys know what theyre doing. I then asked some questions about our deck. We had a loose handrailing and some boards needed replaced. Highly recommend A1 Handy man. James gets right back to you and sets up appointment time. I have used them twice and work is always clean and professional. Sean came out first time to hang large pictures, work on antique dresser and set up our entire garage (shelves, hooks, tools) in our new home.The second time, Jacob came out to install a very old antique clock. He took his time and did a great job. He also vented a portable AC unit through a garage side wall. When he was done, it looked like it was always a part of the house. Both guys knew their stuff and were very friendly. I will certainly use again when I need help around the house.
