    August 2023 update.Another quick, efficient, professional electrical upgrade by Citadel Electric. A Schneider SurgeArrest Whole Home Surge Protective Device HEPD80 was installed. Our neighbors house was struck by lightening in July and we luckily had little damage. The new whole house surge protective device is another layer of protection for our appliances and electronics. Very neat installation.Because Citadel Electric did such professional work on our first electrical punch list we schedule a 5 fan installation of 3 new ceiling fans with wall switches and 2 bathroom exhaust fan replacement to include one with a heater.Warren and Javier arrived on time and quickly, professionally, and efficiently tackled our fan punch list. Their careful installation and area drop cloth protection was greatly appreciated. They endured a hot attic and installed the two bath exhaust fans nicely. They carefully cut drywall to accommodate the new fan size making ceiling repairs minimal. Both electricians did a terrific job and thoroughly cleaned up five area where they worked.Highly recommend Citadel Electric.2022 review - Our realtor recommended Citadel Electric and boy were we lucky to have Nathan estimate our electrical work requests and have the electrical work scheduled quickly.We moved into a Hilton Head home and wanted to improve and replace some electrical items. Nathan and Citadel Electric delivered.MacKenzie, our electrician tech, was courteous, efficient, and extremely thorough. He made sure all the punch list items were satisfactory to my wife and I.We are thoroughly happy with out relocated dining room chandelier, new double overhead attic lights with wall switch cleverly located at the top of the attic pull down steps. We replaced a 1983-vintage pull string light and dime bulb with a hardwired double LED overhead light set with much better illumination. Citadel also corrected two dangerous electrical outlets in our garage and replaced a faulty GFCI outlet near out kitchen sink making sure we were safe. We appreciated Citadels electrical work, customer service, electrical work, as well as follow-up upon completion.We wholeheartedly recommend Citadwl Electric of Bluffton and already are making our second punch list for their next service.

    We had a minor mishap after having custom closets installed. The closet company contacted Citadel Electric. I could not be any happier with the communication and service provided by Citadel.     Citadel was great at every step of the project. They provided a quick and detailed quote of the work to be done, got my job scheduled the next day, and did an amazing job wiring and mounting a new EV charger. The two men who came to do the work were extremely courteous and professional. Their service also auto communicates at every step of the process, even letting you know when they’re on their way to your location. Would absolutely use them again!

    The techs, Max and Mac, were excellent. They were very professional and complete gentlemen, with good senses of humor. They installed six ceiling fans, four pendants a large 4 foot long chandelier, as well as numerous dimmer switches. Their work was top notch. They respected the property and were very tidy with their work and clean-up. They also offered suggestions regarding the dimmers that improved our lighting and control. We will recommend Citadel to others.

    I cannot recommend Citadel enough. Nate asked me to text him pics of the issue. He called to say he was on his way, showed up with professional and efficient service. He changed the fuse in the panel in minutes and noticed a separate problem, which he fixed immediately.In a time where you cant get a call back, Citadel answered the phone, came when he told me he would, even having the replacement parts on hand. He explained why the problem occurred and left us with everything in working order, but more than that, the peace of mind that we didnt have a systemic issue.I can recommend that you call Citadel, youll be thrilled with the service and the quality. Hes also friendly. Im always trying to support small business in Bluffton and this was a win for us!!

    My husband and I recently purchased a vacation condo on HHI that needed some cosmetic upgrades which Included electrical work. Residing out of state with no local referrals, I found Nathan with Citadel Electric on Home Advisor.Among the many upgrades we were working, one was to install ceiling fans in our living area and on our deck. the living area has as slightly vaulted ceiling that could not accommodate a center installation of our fan. Although the side slope install was ok and cost effective, we really wanted our ceiling fan to be centered... it’s a really nice fan. 😊Nathan advised us that this would require carpentry work which he does not do but would recommended a contractor in the area. Gus did an outstanding job of building out the ceiling for a center installation of our fan. While over 200 miles away, Nathan and Gus work together to make certain we got exactly what we wanted.I’ve worked with many contractors on other renovation and investment properties and it’s very difficult to find contractors that will earn a 5- star rating. Nathan’s professionalism, responsiveness and quality of work is outstanding and certainly warrants5-⭐️‘sNathan took care of all of our electrical needs above our expectations. They were very respectful of our property which is most appreciated.     I needed a 220 line ran from my garage through the attic to the back patio for a hot tub and have a ceiling light fixture installed. Everything was well pre-planned out and they two guys that did the work were terrific. The knew what to do and did it in the time that was estimated. The price was excellent. It was about the same as one other company and much less than the third. I went with Citadel because I trusted the owner who came out first. Clearly he knew the business and I felt that things would go well and they did.
