I have used Helling Electric now a few times. Jim came highly recommended from a friend of mine so I gave him a go and have been more than satisfied with the results I have gotten.I have had my breaker box replaced/updated and I couldn’t believe how clean and impressive it came out looking (see pictures). The box was a mess before Jim replaced it!I have also had Jim add recessed lights in my bedroom as there were no lights, just power to an outlet. I think all of three hours and he was all completed with the job. Jim did what we had asked, he kept all areas clean, and we were more than thrilled with the outcome!Jim is very responsive and will get you what you are looking for in a timely manner. What I like about Jim is that he is clean, punctual, responsive, and his pricing is not out of this world. If he is in the middle of a job, he may be delayed getting back to you but that is because he is giving his current job all of the attention and wants to make sure you are not forgotten about.Long story short, if you use Helling Electric, you will NOT be disappointed!

I was looking for estimates for new service being run to a detached garage. Helling Electric came up a few times on a neighborhood website, so I gave Jim a call. He returned my call quickly and came out for an estimate. He was timely, polite and professional. He provided a well written estimate via email with a couple options that we had discussed. He also gave me several names of people that could help with the excavating/trenching for the underground wiring.Jim’s estimate was well within the ballpark of the others, I think even a little cheaper. I had a good feeling about Jim and he did not disappoint. Not only is Jim an effective communicator, but he shows up when he says he will, and does the work that he says he will. Jim installed the new service from the pole, wired the garage inside & out, and installed an RV electrical outlet on a post outside. There were no surprises in the bill and his work was TOP NOTCH. His work is incredibly neat and he kept the site clean. There were even several surprises like light bulbs and light installation that I was not expecting.I honestly cannot say enough good things about Jim and Helling Electric. I whole-heartedly and enthusiastically recommend Helling Electric for any of your electrical needs.

Jim recently wired and installed ceiling lights and fans where we didnt have existing fixtures. He was professional, easy to communicate with, and kept the area neat and clean. Were very happy with the work and would definitely recommend him!
