Brian and his team were great in assisting with the process of gas conversion. We had an emergency at our house with our oil tank leaking in October and decided to convert to gas instead of replacing the tank. It was a long process with permits etc, but they helped every step of the way. When it came down to doing the work they were professional, honest and reliable. The conversion was complete within a few days once the gas line was ran and we are very happy with the results. We plan on using them again to update the oven to gas and other projects in the future.

Zax put a full bathroom on our basement. Brian worked with us to make everything work. We had a sink that he got tubing for so that we could use it. The work was hard as there was concrete to cut through. Brian was easy to get in touch with and always either answered my calls and emails or got back to me quickly. His wife who works with the business was great as well. The men came when Brian said they would. They did the work in a very timely manner and finished when they said. At one point, I needed something done quickly and Brian showed up the next day. Everyone was professional and friendly. Brian told us many times that he treats customers like family. We are very happy with the bathroom and will recommend Zax Plumbing to our neighbors. We will also use them again.

Brian is hard working honest person. This winter he was able to do an emergency install of a new boiler in our home after doing a late evening inspection. Saving us from a 4TH day without hot water after being stood up by another plumber! His estimate times for labor are always spot on and he never leaves before testing his work multiple times.He also did a sump pump replacement for us too and ensured that was work properly before he left. He always uses professional grade parts on installations and his kind and knowledgeable and willing to answer questions. I recommend you ALWAYS call him first! I needed to replace a backflow device because it failed inspection and also fix a pinhole leak. I called a few places and decided to go with ZAX Plumbing as they were local, had a lot of 5 star reviews and their quote seemed pretty reasonable. Brian and Chris came out and were pretty quick with the job. They were easy to talk with and very respectful. They even cleaned up the floors a bit from some of the dirt they tracked into the house. After they finished their job, we did find there was a very slow leak by the water meter coupling near the backflow device. Brian mentioned the water district should be able to replace it since it is part of the water meter kit but he didnt want to leave me hanging. He went above and beyond what was required and tried to see if he could fix it free of charge. Unfortunately, he had trouble finding that specific size coupling. Over the course of a few days, he still wasnt able to find the replacement part, so he tried to patch it up temporarily to buy us some time until the water district could come by. Unfortunately, the coupling was still leaking but still very, very slowly. (To be clear, I definitely dont fault him for that failed coupling as it was in pretty bad shape upon examining it and no amount of patching up would fix it 100%.) After the water district came by, the backflow device got a passing grade and they were able to replace the failed coupling on the water meter. I will definitely consider ZAX Plumbing again for any other plumbing needs. Thanks Brian!

I cannot say enough about the service, and job that Brian has done for me. I called up one day for an estimate on some plumbing work for a laundry room. Brian was there the same day to come and have a look. We agreed on the work I needed done, and an extra project to relocate a vent pipe that was in the middle of the room. Within a week Brian squeezed me in to get the job done. I had a wall opened up on the other side of a bathroom, to pull the water for the laundry machine. Brian had pointed out some mold, and showed me the pipes to the bathroom were leaking, and that they would need to be replaced. After spending almost 12 hours in my laundry room Brian went above and beyond. He ran all the pipes for the laundry machine, moved the vent pipe, relocated the shower drain pipe for the bathroom, and replaced all the plumbing for the bathroom. All this at no extra cost. I could not believe how much extra work was involved and done, and the price stayed the same! My go to guy from here on out!

I am normally not the type of person to leave reviews in general, but I was compelled to do so given how extremely happy I am with the recent service I experienced with Zax Plumbing. Everything from the customer service I received over the phone, the ease of making the appointment, the very quick response and attentiveness to my issue, the friendly and professional manner and attitude of the plumbers, to the extremely successful and satisfying results... turned this naturally negative and unfortunate situation into a truly joyous experience. My issue was thankfully resolved much quicker than expected; the issue should have required a lot more time and money to correct, however due to their extensive knowledge and experience, along with their regular practice of keeping the customer in mind (as opposed to solely trying to make as much money as possible)-- I was ultimately able to save a lot of time, money, and hassle. In Spring of 2021 we began a major home renovation, part dormer and full first floor gut. This included a new kitchen (which was moved) and two bathrooms, gutted and renovated. Brian and his team did an amazing job for my family. They were with us so much, they became family. Not only did they do a tremendous amount of plumbing work for the project but they fixed other issues we had with old pipes and our heating system (things that were done correctly by our gas conversion company years prior). They even went through the outside of my house to install pipe so not to disturb my living space and his cousin Frankie took off and reinstalled our siding perfectly - thanks Frankie! My husband and I fully recommend Brian Zax for hire, from a simple leak to a crazy project like we did and everything in between. On top of being an awesome plumber, he is a really nice person and you will feel comfortable having in your home. Since our first encounter with Brian, we have nothing but good to say about him and his company. The common theme from most of these reviews is responsive! We first used him to replace a boiler system. Introduced to us by our contractor about 4 yrs ago, we have used him now at least four times and have even had him do work on my in-laws and others. Any concerns or issues (very few) that have come up have been addressed or resolved in a timely fashion. The work has been excellent and will continue to use and recommend Zaxs Plumbing. Very responsive to his customers needs!!

Brian and his son were a pleasure to work with. They were timely, professional, and personable. They have now done two jobs for us in our home and they will continue to be our first call if anything goes wrong with our plumbing!
