    Cornerstone Builders is simply the best contract building company we have ever contracted with. We needed to add a main floor master bedroom and bath so we found Cornerstone had aging-in-place certification. Allen, the owner, and his designer, Chris, listened carefully and offered different solutions for the new room. It took a few design iterations to add in other requests like an additional small full bath and a redesign of a laundry area, but, in the end, we were very happy with the result.When some unexpected issues arose, Allen was always very responsive, and his team immediately worked to resolve problems. Zoe, Ian, and Rodney were friendly, hard-working, and very professional in their work ethic. Allens tile, flooring, plumbing, electrical, and cabinet subcontractors were expert craftsmen, professional, and responsible, which we greatly appreciated. We highly recommend Cornerstone Builders for any remodel and addition project. We will be using them in the future for other smaller projectsWe now live almost exclusively on our main floor, with no more stairs to have to worry about. The master addition is just lovely, the new deck is gorgeous, the laundry area is perfect, and I love having an extra bathroom for guests! Thank you, Cornerstone.

    We selected Cornerstone Builders to remodel our 1970s kitchen. Allen’s ideas enabled a creative use of our space, resulting in a final design that was modern and open. We love our new kitchen! In particular, our custom cabinets make a beautiful statement as well as providing a more efficient work and storage area.     We had a great experience with Allen and his team on our kitchen remodel and would highly recommend using Cornerstone for home remodeling. Allen is a good listener and doesnt push his own ideas - he let us shape the design of our kitchen and provided his professional opinion where needed and when requested. My wife really wanted a huge island.. Allen was a bit apprehensive, but he rolled with it. The design renderings matched exactly what we had described verbally, which was great - didnt require lots of iterations to get it right. We found him and his team to be very trustworthy, respectful, professional and they took pride in their work. The tile guys were outstanding, as was his electrician. We needed to harvest and reuse some of the flooring to accommodate the different kitchen layout, as our existing flooring is not available any more.. the flooring guys did an outstanding job - you can hardly tell where they patched. Zoe and Ian were really great - nice, friendly guys who do excellent work and make sure to clean up afterwards.The cabinet design lady nailed it, but we had a few glitches with getting all the cabinets completed satisfactorily and to our design spec, but got there in the end. For appliances, Allen had us work with Ferguson. The communication and responsiveness from Ferguson was not very good, so it took several back-and-forth emails and time to get all the information for us to make a decision. In the end, our kitchen looks fantastic and is perfectly functional for our family. The 4 star rating only reflects that there were a few issues (albeit minor) along the way - I reserve 5 stars for a perfect experience with no issues.We do have a major issue with our range, although this isnt a reflection on Cornerstone.. In the end we were recommended to get a 48 all-gas Dacor, and it didnt work well at all. Its probably the worst performing oven Ive ever used (and Ive used a lot). After 3 months of back and forth we are finally getting it replaced with a dual-fuel version, but that requires some electrical re-work. Ferguson really came through in the end with switching the range out, but it has taken a long time, and has been quite a frustrating experience. Thankfully, Allen, Zoe and his electrician came back to help coordinate the swap and do all the necessary work - great customer support and focus from Cornerstone.

    Weve spent the last year having Cornerstone at our house building us our dream addition, after they helped us design and plan it. There is no doubt in my mind that we chose the right team for our very large complex project. There may have been a cheaper option (but not by much from the three bids we entertained), however, the commitment, quality of people and workmanship exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend Cornerstone Builders and their entire team to help your dream become your reality. Thank you Cornerstone!

    Need a recommendation for a great builder in the Portland/Beaverton area and beyond?Every home I photograph for Cornerstone is meticulously finished and built.I have been working with Cornerstone now for a number of years and have to say Ive seen their work just blossom from a simple to a more designed look.And everyone at Cornerstone is super friendly. I know because Ive been taking pictures of their jobs as well as group portraits for Christmas and for their website.And I know too from talking with their clients that theyre happy clients.Sophisticated, timeless and well built. Doesnt get much better than that.They get my recommendation!

    My husband and I hired Cornerstone Builders, Inc to remodel both bathrooms in our 1950s ranch home. We had a vision of what we wanted and Allen was able to guide us through the design, fixture, and tile selection to make our vision a reality. We had been told by other builders that what we wanted wasnt feasible or wouldnt be worth the cost. Each bathroom is less than 30 sq ft in size which presented challenges with fixture selection however they always figured out a solution to the problem without sacrificing the design or quality of materials. The construction went well, we were kept informed on schedule changes which were mostly due to county inspection delays. As part of the remodel we also had all the plumbing replaced in the house and their sub-contractor did a great job with that. We are both pleased with the end result and would highly recommend them.

    Good Day People,Cornerstone builders is part of the reason I am a successful man. I had a home listed in Cedar Hills for sale. The close date was approaching quickly. I contacted Allen as I had done some work to the home I was not supposed to do. He gave me a rough price, Made arrangments with the hardwood floor people to get their work done. Made arangments with sheetrock people to finish their work. Found molding that I could not find. Kept the home in progress towards a close date and worked with the buyer to keep them happy. If I was to do any work at all I would call Cornerstone Builders. Alan is the best. It is hard to find quality people whom can protect your interests. Cornerstone can do this...

    We have really enjoyed working with Allen and his amazing crew! They have been kind, understanding and professional! They even managed to pull off the rock climbing wall we requested for our kids play area! The sky is the limit with Cornerstone😁 Easy five stars for this establishment!

    I contacted three companies for an overhaul of my entire house, and Cornerstone came up with the best design for my kitchen, which included moving a window I wouldnt have thought to move. I ended up redoing the entire kitchen, getting built-ins and a new fireplace surround in the family room, replacing the carpet in the living-dining area with hardwood, replacing most other carpet in the house, and repainting almost the entire house, for less than I expected. There were no major problems and any minor issues (mostly paint touch-ups) were resolved immediately, with minimal impact to the schedule. I have two small children, a dog, and a husband who was not 100% on board with the project. Allen and his team were really patient and great to work with. Everything turned out beautifully. My husband says it turned out much better than he thought it would, and is now the one dragging ME to the home stores for new rugs and kitchen supplies.

    Im an Interior Designer, and I hired Cornerstone to do my own home. It was a complete gut and remodel. They were efficient, courteous, and their work was solid. I definitely threw some curve balls during the process, but they didnt falter! I also appreciated that they respected me as a design professional and didnt bulk if I gave them unusual directives.

    Cornerstone Builders of Beaverton Oregon, rescued our kitchen remodel from another company who messed it up, took our money and left us without a kitchen. Cornerstone swooped in with a complete redesign and now we have a FABULOUS new kitchen. Cornerstone restored our faith in great contractors. Thank you Cornerstone Builders.

    Excellent process without disrupting our routine. Repair of the water damaged walls and trim was done well. We cant tell the problem happened. Crown molding replaced, carpets and painting to our desires. Dont ever let the wife pick out paint colors. Ha-ha! Work was on time and completed to every detail and no mess left over. The 4 rooms were each completed with every thing we wanted done. Good quality for the money. Will use again for the next remodel project.

    Cornerstone brought back our faith in the Construction industry. They are professional, knowledgeable, and dedicated to making dreams come true.We hired Cornerstone to remodel our entire 1970’s ranch style home. We are beyond thrilled with the results!There are a few reasons we chose Cornerstone. First, Allen was honest and upfront about how expensive remodeling a home can be. Having not remodeled in over a decade, we were ignorant to the cost and appreciated the dose of reality.Second, Allen came up with an amazing idea for our master bedroom/bathroom within the first few minutes of seeing the room. His design allowed for optimum use of the space and turned out to be the exact look and feel we never thought possible without an room extension.Finally, we liked that Cornerstone is a small locally owned company. We were able to get to know and trust the people that would be in our home. It is apparent that Allen chooses the subcontractors carefully. They were all efficient, friendly, and respectful.We chose to live in the house during remodeling. In hindsight, we underestimated the stress involved and overestimated our patience for the time it takes to remodel a home. Luckily Cornerstone’s Project Manager, Bre, was always available. She handled any concerns, questions, or anxieties that arose with understanding and compassion.This was a long, arduous process that resulted in our dream house. Allen has created a home for us that we never knew we could have. We are beyond satisfied!

    We are absolutely thrilled to have Allen and his team at Cornerstone Builders working on our master bathroom. This is our first big remodeling project and everyone has gone above and beyond to guide us through this process. I showed Allen a couple of photos from my dream file and a few weeks later he had assembled the absolute perfect collection of tile for my consideration. He has an amazing ability to understand exactly what look you are striving for. From day one communication has constantly been flowing smoothly and any questions we have are always answered immediately and thoroughly. I have been extremely wishy-washy regarding our budget but Allen has shown immeasurable patience assisting me in making (and making changes to) our finish selections...and always with a positive, cheerful attitude. We are 100% certain we chose the absolute best team for our job and they will forever be our go to team for future projects.
