I had a simple task of getting some GFCI outlets installed, and some light switches replaced. They were able to get me in fairly quickly and worked with Allen for the work that needed to be completed.Allen was very punctual for the expected time slot, incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, he made sure to help me understand what was needed and not needed. He was able to get the work done within the expected time frame and even offered to help clean up which was appreciated.Working with Steele Electric was a fantastic experience, and I would recommend working with Steele and Allen.

I had the great opportunity to utilize Steele Electric for a kitchen remodel project Im currently doing. We needed to update some outlets and fix the switches because there were just too many.Steele Electric gave me an email quote and we were able to get them in pretty promptly even though electricians are seeming to book themselves about 4-weeks out now.Aaron and his helpers were super easy to work with. They understood what we needed and helped us talk through some of the things we wanted to do with my client with some switches or outlets that hadnt been fully decided beforehand.They worked together to get under cabinets lights and a range vent hood installed as well as a few other outlets in the garage and basement that didnt have grounded outlets.I will use them again!

Experience with Steele was about as easy as you could ask for. I made a request for a plug installation and some troubleshooting with my breaker tripping, and the entire service took about 2 business days. I asked them Thursday afternoon, got a response Friday morning, I responded on a Monday, and my entire service was completed by 10AM Tuesday. (I didnt want to bother them on a weekend.)Communication was quick and professional throughout as well!It was such a clean service. Please ask for Trevor by name, because he was a thorough, efficient & friendly person to work with. Will definitely consult again.

Alan did an excellent job completing multiple small repairs and new installs in our home. He worked in many different areas of our house and left everything cleaner than he found it. I especially appreciated the different options that he gave us for completing each task and talked through the pros and cons of each option. He finished the job before us early, so he ended up coming to us about 3 hours early (which was fine with us). He called to let us know about the opportunity to have him come early and gave us a good 30 minutes notice.Sophia handled all of the scheduling and her communication was excellent. I really appreciated that she calls, texts, and emails. It meant I could communicate with her even if I couldnt pick up the phone to talk.I will absolutely call Steele electric in the future. I really felt their prices and service were all top notch.

I arranged this for my mother to have two fans installed in bedrooms where there was only a light before (so had to have braces etc). The electrician (Jordan Rynearson) arrived on time, wore protective foot covers when in the house, covered bed etc with plastic and performed the job professionally and efficiently. I couldnt be happier with our choice to use Steele Electric to resolve a problem with a broken outlet and the installation of a sprinkler timer in our garage.Jennifer, the scheduler was very personable and efficient. He arrived when expected, was friendly, asked questions about our problem and in under an hour repaired our broken outlet and wired our sprinkler system. We had the pleasure of working with Dan Steele and his team while we were building out our business space. The electrical had to be completely redone with addition of light switches, outlets, junction boxes, light fixture installation. Dan came out within a few days of contacting him and provided a competitive quote. He was very professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with. Jordan was the journeyman for our project and was excellent as well! He was also knowledgeable, very communicative, thoughtful and efficient through the whole process. He was also able to help me select lighting and lightbulbs to accentuate our space. Jordan and his partner Ryan were responsive to all of my questions, requests and modifications. She was very easy to work with and provided a fair estimate. Steele was one of two companies we contacted about this project, but their estimate and final cost was $2,000 less than our other quote.Second, Rocco completed the work at our home. He was prompt and efficient. We had a few electrical questions and issues and called Steele Electric for service. Weston came and listened carefully to the issues we’d be having and quickly got to work on the highest priority issue and quickly found the solution and made the fix. He spent time to thoroughly inspect and talk through things so I understood and felt that my concerns were answered. Weston also took the time to answer more questions on other issues we’d been having that we didn’t even plan to have looked at - but he solved and did as much as he could for us in the time we were paying for the service - which made us feel good that he wanted to give us as much value for the service charge as possible. What can I say? They provided excellent service! I called the company out to hardwire an EV charger. Jennifer scheduled the install promptly and gave me an accurate idea of the scope and cost of the job, and thru a followup, made me feel at ease by assuring me that there wouldn’t be any surprises. Alan, the Electrician, was on point - he arrived a little early in order to be prepared to start the job at the scheduled time. He arrived with a smile, verified the work I wished to have done, talked me thru the options I had along the way, worked diligently and efficiently to get the job finished as quoted, and cleaned up the work area when he was done! The best review I could give is to say that it’s an easy decision for me to choose to call them again should I have needs in the future.

We were very impressed with Traison who came out to change two gfi plugs for us. I asked him to check the rest of them in my house because it’s a 1954 home that was remodeled prior to us buying it. Dan and the team at Steele Electric are a rare find these days, professional, on time, high quality, friendly, available, and very reasonable prices.I had the team out to replace my 1974 power panel and they made it look easy. They had a cool tool to keep dust to a minimum.I had them come back and install two exterior outlets, Traison, knocked it out quickly, no mess, no problems.

My family has relied on Dan Steele and his crew for years -- new construction, remodeling, and service calls. Their work is excellent, and they are incredibly honest. Last week, though, they went above and beyond. I heard noise and saw sparks behind our breaker panel. Less than an hour after talking to Kandice, Aaron was at my house carefully removing the panel from a newly-painted wall. He found a loose neutral wire that likely would have started a fire. Aaron literally saved the day. In a sea of construction mediocrity, Steele Electric is reliable, and they deliver.

The house was build in 1910 and from the looks of it, the breaker panel had been messed with from every owner since. Steele came in and untangled the web wires and somehow managed to get a clean install of a new panel. Rocco got there at 7am sharp, and worked through the day until it was completed. To make matters worse, the panel is located between two plumbing stacks. His effort in providing me with the max number of circuits in the space available was appreciated. Will go with Steele for future electrical needs.

Had run out of space on my existing panel, and was closing in on mains limits, so it was time for an upgrade. Had an estimate done for a much larger panel, bigger mains breaker, and a couple additional outlets for the garage. Price was good, so scheduled the work. Aaron and an assist came out and were friendly, professional, and really, really attentive to what I wanted done. At each stage, they showed me the work they had done, confirmed where I wanted things positioned, and in general made sure that the work was up to my expectations. They did a fantastic job, and even managed it under the projected timeframe. Super happy, and wont hesitate to bring them back in when Ive got more work to be done.

Traison and Dante arrived early, which to me is on time, and I was not ready. They graciously waited for me and immediately got to work. They worked diligently and did not bother me as I was sitting around doing nothing. They estimated about 4 hours and finished before the 4 hours. Alan Steele did a great job with resolving our issue with our Water Tankless Heater. He assessed the situation in a timely manner and determined that a UF grounded wire was tripped outside our condo that was linked to our water heater and small storage unit. He was able to relocate the outlet for us by delinking the wire from the busted UF wire so it could be independant from it. Thank you Alan for this wonderful, quick and professional work. We wouldnt have had a hot shower without your expertise!

I wish I could give 10 stars. Their tech, Aaron, came out to hook up electricity to my gas range and over-the-counter microwave today. Very nice, great manners, and super attitude. Its fun to be around fun people. Got everything done in less time than expected, and installed a ceiling light as well, which wasnt part of the original plan. Combined with Kandices people skills over the phone, I couldnt be happier with the install, or the service. 100% recommend.

Following my negative post about the dangerous actions of a guy driving company truck this morning there was a quick and positive response from someone at Steele which tells me they are concerned, I also spoke with Candanceat Steele this morning, she was extremely concerned about the drivers actions, the safety factor and his representation of the company. Candance was thoughtful, polite and very professional - I feel very confident a Steele rep or two will handle this situation. I was very please and impressed by thoughtful and quick response by Steele.3/23/21 one of their techs was driving crazy on Hwy 26 and I5 from Beaverton, all the way into Vancouver - 5:30 am he was getting on peoples tails, then putting his brights on the car until it moved, he was crossing lanes cutting cars off, sometimes with a blinker, other times not- he almost hit a car while getting on the Freemont bridge due to his careless driving - All in a company sprinter van, no care for anyone - I was going 72 MPH trying to get all the information off the van, every time I switched lanes, he would cut me off - it took a while but I got the info - this employee is a danger on the streets driving a company vehicle, I doubt he is going to care how he conducts himself in anyones home.

This is an update, I emailed them about my concerns, specifically about how much time was reported/billed for this amount of work. They replied immediately said it was a typo, the total time was one hour less and re-sent invoice right away.-----------------------An electrician from Steele came to solve a few issues: he identified problem with fan quickly but did not fix it because he did not have the material; he could not figure out whats wrong with my 3-way light switch. then he replaced two light textures. all together he charged me almost $300 including $20 material. about 1.5 hr work as you put them together, he put 2.25hr at $123/hr. He did work on the 22nd of Jan but invoiced me on Feb 9th. I kept wondering why he has not sent inv, probably thinks I would forget how long he was at my place. I hired him because of good reviews I see from google. but disappointed by this experience - they dont have the expertise and not very honest about the charge.

My experience with Steele Electric is unique but I believe worth mentioning. I was traveling on the BH HWY and my car stopped working in the middle of a very busy intersection. I had four kids in the car with me and felt very overwhelmed. While trying to get thru to roadside assistance as people are honking incessantly at me, I get a knock on my window. The man asked if I needed gas. I wasn’t sure what was wrong with my car but he offered to go around the block and come back to help me. Within 10 minutes he had filled my tank and that started my car so that I could safely get my crew to the nearest service station. He said to me, “I hope your day gets better.” I asked him for his card and he is an employee of Steele Electric. I cannot thank this man enough for the selfless act of caring about another human’s struggle. Any company that operates like that will have my business any day of the week.

The dryer tumbled, but there was no heat. An appliance expert checked the dryer and ducts on 12/17/19. He took the dryer apart, and nothing was wrong. Reassembled and it worked and produced heat. The next day it did not produce heat. I called the appliance expert and he said it must be the breaker switch. In 1967 the electrical panel was installed, and the manufacturer disappeared just a year later. A Google search recommended a switch that should work. But after removing the panel, it did not look like the switch would work and there was no master switch to turn off the panel. On Christmas eve day, I called several electrical companies and they had no openings for the next month. Then I called Steele Electric and the lady promised to call me back Thursday, 12/26/19. She did and booked me out a week. But she called me Friday the 27th and told me a client canceled and she could have an electrician to the house in one hour. He was the nicest young man and as he worked, he filled me in on electrical panels and switches. He had a switch that worked in his vehicle. One of the two-pole switches indeed was broken. The company excelled in gracious support and customer service. The work was performed by a knowledgable electrician who worked with fluid precision as he taught me the process. I have been wordy but I want to convey they are the best electrical service in the Metro area.

We just remodeled our kitchen and Steele Electric did the work as they had been hired by our general contractor. They installed new can lights in the ceiling, 3 pendant lights over the island and 2 sconces. They also ran wiring through the crawlspace to add an outlet to the island. Blake was very knowledgeable and offered helpful suggestions since Id never been through a remodel before. He helped to replace the can lights in the ceiling room (at minimal charge) because the vaulted ceilings are so high, we cant reach them. While they were here, we decided to buy new ceiling lights for the front entry and hallway, lights for the front of the house and garage and motion sensor lights for the back. They did all of the work at a very reasonable price, were punctual and courteous. The lighting in the kitchen is stunning! We are starting our next project--a new fence with stone columns and electric lanterns on top of each column. We are getting a bid from Steele and plan to use them again. I highly recommend them.

Awesome? etc.)August 5th, 2021:Traison, Aaron, Kandice, all HORRIBLE people to work with...Ok, Im lying, they were all amazing.Kandice was great with her communications, Aaron listened to me patiently babble on about things I dont know and then broke it down crayon style when going over the estimate, and Traison was stuck listening to me because he was trapped here doing the work.All are professional, polite and courteous.The estimate was for between 6 to 8 hours of work and Traison was done, including clean up, in under 5 hours, and that was with him having to wait for PG&E to wander back and do their part.

On an unusually hot summer Sunday, we called Steele Electric to our home for Emergency service. After seeing our lights flickering, checked the panel box in the garage and a not good crackling sound was heard coming from the panel box. We were scared of a potential fire. As we were waiting, turned off everything in the house except for the refrigerator. Traison Backlund from Steele arrived in quick time and saved the day! He was able to determine that two of our breakers were defective, and were not tripping to turn off. They were over heating and melting. Needed two ceiling fans installed and some receptacles. Kyle and Emo came out, working around me to get the job done. Let me explain. They literally worked around me as I was hooked by headset to my computer, and installed a ceiling fan just feet away from my desk.
