Erick and Tristin were wonderul. I had a job that seemed impossible to do without tearing the wall apart. It was in an attic bedroom with lack and plaster and a newly wallpapered and panneled wall. After looking at options, they came up with a way to wire for sconces without messing up my wall. They were creative in their approach, skilled, and left me with a clean hole that can easily be covered back up with the origional trim. Great work!

Called Dickinson to come over and look at installing an RV connection. Tristin and Erik came out and were fantastic. They looked over the situation, spent some time to look around and find the right solution. We ended up finding out that I had an AC box that was not being used, and ran some tests to make sure it could be used. We ended up re-using this for the RV outlet and it works fantastic. This was a very creative solution, saved dollars, and made the install very simple and not intrusive to the house. HUGE thank you to these two for looking at all options and finding the right one solution. And it saved money and we did not have to drill a hole in the house. AWESOME !!!! Highly recommend.

Ive been using Dickinson Electric since I first moved into my house in 2018 and I only have good things to say about them. Michael and Brian are the primary guys who work on my house and they have consistently clean work and elegant solutions to my electrical projects. Ive had them install extra ventilation in my laundry room so I can safely use my 3D resin printer, add lighting to my back patio, install a charging station for my electric car, and do the wiring and install my induction cooktop. Thats just a snapshot of the bigger projects theyve done! Ive never once needed to have them come back to fix a piece of work. Electrical work is expensive but its worth the money when you know that its being done right.

All I can say is WOW, These guys were great. They helped us in our renovation and practically rewired our condo. They obtained the permits, did the work quickly and after they were finished, we asked for more and they did that too. Here is a picture our kitchen after they rewired it, 3 lights, an oven and 15 outlets. Total of 30 outlets, a bathroom, laundry/powder room and we added 8 sconces and 8 chandaliers and changed our circuit breaker panel too. They were very reasonable in their pricing, friendly and very professional, we highly recommend Dickinson Electric for your electrical needs !!!!!!Thank you so much

He did a superb job. We had a late afternoon commitment and he pushed to get the new bathroom overhead lights in by our deadline. It is a perfect job. He worked hard to avoid having to cut an additional hole in the Sheetrock and was successful. Our bathroom looks perfect. We finally have sufficient light. He also replaced some old incandescent light fixtures in another bathroom and closet with modern flush LEDs. The result is more light and a clean, updated look. Yeah Michael. Couldn’t be happier. He is also very polite and considerate. Anyone would be happy to have him working in their home.

Not all great jobs need to be big! Needed a recessed outlet installed so I could mount a digital calendar to the wall. Called Dickinson’s and they sent Michael out. Originally wanted it mounted vertically, and he allowed me to draw what we were doing on the wall which made me change my mind for orientation which in the end will result in a better product once I get everything mounted! We had a few bar lights burn out, quite literally charcoaling their sockets. We had Dickinson Electric give an estimate and so long as we provided new light fixtures, the labor fee was very fair.During the installation, we had an issue where the lights would not sit square in their new ceiling mounts. The technician worked with us to come up with the idea of purposely installing them at 45 degree angles. Because if it looked intentionally offset, then it was an artistic choice versus a oh, no - now what do we do issue.They did bring an apprentice with them. I had no issue with that because the senior lead checked the work of the apprentice.Overall, good work ethos and fair pricing from the company. They seem to be an honest bunch trying to do good work.

After calling two other companies only to be waitlisted for an appointment sometime this week, Dickinsons responded with a waitlist for the same day and ended up sending an electrician out within an hour of me making the original request. The dispatcher also walked me through a few quick diagnostic steps beforehand to make sure I needed a full diagnostic visit. Turns out I did and the electrician they sent out, Tristan, was friendly, knowledgeable and thorough, walking through a manual check of the entire affected circuit while asking insightful questions about things Id noticed when the fault occurred and any recent changes to the fixtures, outlet or load, which ended up helping focus in on the problem. Testing was thorough, the repair fast and he made sure to walk through and double check everything before he left. Dickinsons might not have been the first company I called today, but they will be my first call from now on.

I told the person at Dickinson Electric that and I was assured that it was simple and quick to do because I wanted it close to the electric panel. Tristan and Eric showed up in the small window of time we had agreed on, were professional and congenial, finished very quickly, cleaned up after themselves and gave me the bill. It was the minimum of the amount spread I had been quoted. I would have paid the top amount of that spread because I wouldnt have known any better! They could have taken advantage of my ignorance very easily but I am so grateful that they didnt and I can 100% recommend them to yall! Thank you Dickinson Electric!!!

We needed to replace a broken 25 year-old 30A 36 cooktop with a new one, and that size is only available in 40-50A now. So we needed about 100 of 50A wire run up a floor from the breaker, through the attic and down the wall behind the cooktop. While we were at it, we wanted to add two additional 50A receptacles for an RV and EV charging. I called Dickinsons Electric based on their reviews. I was able to get an appointment for an estimate fairly quickly. The owner, Peter, came out and did the estimate. He let me know what it would entail, and the likely sheetrock repair that would be needed. We got an appointment to do the work five weeks later. Peter and his crew arrived on schedule. They did a great job cutting sheetrock holes we could easily patch, ran the wires, put the outlets in the locations and orientations we requested and cleaned up the areas well. Along the way they were all very enjoyable to talk with and didnt mind us watching or asking questions. The only thing I cant comment on is price, since I didnt get additional estimates, but it seemed like a fair price for the quality of work received. I highly recommend this company.

It was difficult to get an appointment initially due to the wide spread power outages following a huge winter storm (VERY understandable). Despite this, Peter kept in contact with me, showed up masked, and gave me a very reasonable bid. I needed a couple of light switches re-wired to allow for constant power to a security camera and motion light. Michael and Tristan showed up as scheduled (also masked), completed the project - which was more difficult than initially expected, and did a wonderful job. Both were very friendly, professional, courteous and thorough. They didnt charge more for the extra work involved. Highly recommend this company and would use them again in a heartbeat. I am only leaving a 5 star review because 10 stars is not an option.The main breaker to our house had gone out so we had no power. Wed called around trying to find someone to help and every electrician we called was booked out a month in advance.This was all happening in late July during a heatwave of multiple 100 degree days. We had to get a hotel for the night. Packed up the toddler, Wife, and dogs in the car, and headed to a hotel. This was a huge ordeal on its own especially with how HOT it was. Even though we had somewhere to stay for the night. It was so stressful not knowing when our home would have power again.This is where Peter and Dickinsons Electric enter.My wife got a referral from her Mom Group on facebook for Peter. They said that he Is amazing and does a fantastic work. Turns out both of these are understatements.Peter was on his day off when he answered the phone. He easily couldve told us he had a full schedule, because he did. They were also booked several weeks out. After talking to my Wife and hearing we didnt have power to our house, that we have a baby and we were having to stay in a hotel. That was all Peter needed to hear.He dropped what he was doing and came straight over. After testing our panel he said I can absolutely fix this. I will get started right away and Im not leaving here until its done.I dont know if any of you have seen an electrical panel get replaced but its a very time consuming ordeal. The kind of job youd start first thing in the morning and spend most the day on. Peter wasnt able to get started until after 2pm. He had the power back on to my house at 6pm.I hung out and we chatted while he worked. Not only does he do top notch electrical work but I really enjoyed our conversation throughout the day. Having had a very stressful day or two I really needed the conversation. Peter is a genuine, honest, caring person that dropped everything he was doing on his day off to come save my family.I dont think words can really portray the impact Peter had on my family or how thankful I am that people like him actually exist.Without question call Dickinsons if you need an electrician.

My total for the work was $450. $250 for the labor and $200 for 4 smoke detectors (2 with CO detection as well).UPDATE: 1/24/2022I had more work done to move a light switch to a different wall and it was fabulous! $250 for labor and $85 for materials.

These guys were amazing. I finally upgraded my power from the original 1928 (plus many patchwork fixes over the decades) fuses and breakers. It was a big job to put in a new meter, main panel, sub panel, dedicated outlets, and rerout wiring to help me work from home. Everything went exactly as they planned, with no change in time or cost from the estimate I had recieved beforehand. They were considerate, professional, focused, and didnt complain when I hovered over their shoulders asking questions. They filled every hole they made when removing old conduit, swept up all debris and even put all my dead sod back when they dug trenches. The final inspector even complimented their work. I will definitely call them again when its time to tackle the next big project. Very happy, 10 stars.
