We have been very happy with our new heating system in our home. Dan was honest and very informative about our options, what each one would take to accomplish, and what he believes would work best for our old home with an odd layout. Prices were on par with other major companies, but Oliver’s offered much more transparency & communication and much fewer warnings about cosmetic damages we would likely be left with. Everything looks and runs great! His experience 100% shows with his work.

The over 40 year old furnace system we had did not provide the comfort we wanted in several of our rooms, and was far from energy efficient. Given the systems age, we decided to look at a new furnace. Once we had Dan review the issues, and possible solutions, we knew we had the right heating system contractor. The work went quickly, with very brief (total, 2 hours?) disruption of our heat and hot water use in our circa 1867 home in mid-December. The workmanship shows superb attention to detail and deep knowledge of how to do it right. Dan fixed a few problems other than the new furnace installation just because, paraphrasing him, looking at that bothers me. Ive got to sort that out! and he did. Within the contract $s. If you want a new furnace installation done in the Bangor area, Dan and Olivers Heating and Plumbing is a perfect choice. Could it have been done cheaper? Maybe. Could it have been done properly and as smoothly for cheaper? I say NO!!

We needed our boiler cleaned and serviced, and without knowing who to use in the area, we decided to give Olivers a try based on their excellent reviews. We were not disappointed! They fit us in the schedule quickly, showed up on time (really appreciated the 30 minute arrival time frame, too!), and are fairly priced. Travis was our technician - he was kind, honest, and I appreciate that he was willing to wear a mask when entering our home during the pandemic. Highly recommend and will surely use again in the future!

Olivers got Travis sent out here within about an hour of my call, and he had the oil furnace cleaned and running again within about another hour. Prompt service, friendly and knowledgeable technicians, and fair pricing. I highly recommend this outfit.

Dan was professional and personable. Within seconds of looking at our poorly performing heating system, he started listing off the issues that were causing the lack of proper heat, which was easily verified when he asked about what was previously installed and we saw that it was designed exactly how he said our new system should have been.It’s hard to know who to trust for this kind of work, especially when it gets expensive. We know what it’s like to have a really poorly done, corners-cut job done (our system was so poorly done before Dan came along, it was basically a robbery), and since our new system has been installed it’s been a world of a difference.I could keep going on and on, but I just hope that people will see this review and give Dan a call. I am sure his character and quality of work will be apparent!

Our furnace broke in the middle of the winter, after looking for a good and reliable technician that could make time for an emergency situation, a friend recommend us Olivers H&P, they called back between minutes, sent us a technician. Dan came in less than an hour, he was very honest, gave us a scenario, an estimate and suggestions, and quickly he was able to set a new water heat boiler. We are very grateful to find caring people who are there to help and not taking advantage of clients who are desperate in the winter. Thank you very much. I highly recommend Olivers H & P

We had a leaking sink drain we contacted two other plumbers without success. I called this morning and spoke with Dan who said they could get a plumber out to us this morning. Alvin arrived and looked over our problem and said he’d have it repaired this morning. He fixed the skink drain leak. I asked him if he could look at a valve in the bathroom that could not be shut off. He determined it would take putting in a replacement which he did. Very good work by a Professional no mess no fuss!The price was great too. THANKS OLIVER PLUMBING AND HEATING.

So I called two days ago to schedule a service call. Apparently, my appointment slip was mixed up so I called after waiting an hour. The lady said she would call the techs to find out where they were. When she called back she said it would be another two hours, but then the owner of the company called, said he could be there in thirty minutes. Mr. Oliver came out, saw it was an easy fix and he took care of it. It was an honest mix up and this company definitely cares about their customers. I would not only use them again, but I would recommend him to my friends for their heating and cooling needs.

I called Oliver’s heating and plumbing and Alvin was here within 15 minutes. I explained the issue and he immediately knew to check the well in which he pulled the hose up and showed me the broken valve. He went to get the parts that were needed and replaced them quickly and efficiently. After that he checked the pressure on the water pump until it was where it should be. I was very happy with his knowledge and professionalism!! I highly recommend them! Thank you Alvin!

Great service. They were the only plumber (out of 3) to actually answer when I called. They scheduled me for 9 a.m. the following week. Got a call around 8 asking if it would be okay if they came earlier. Fixed 3 different issues in my new house for a very reasonable price. The plumber, Dan, was knowledgeable and cleaned up after himself. He tested everything to make sure it worked as expected. This is my new go to plumbing company. Thank you!

I called Oliver’s heating and plumbing on a Friday for a slow draining sink, and said it was not an emergency and could wait. Regardless they came in a few hours, worked hard to fix the problem and did fix it as well as give me some good information to keto the sink draining properly. Very polite, price very fair. I will use this service again.

There is a team of experts and I personally have referred 7 people to them and without fail their experience is the same as mine - excellent service and workmanship. If it is something they cannot accommodate which is rare they dont try to bluff their way through and are happy to direct you appropriately. Thank you Alvin! You and Olivers Plumbing saved us from the bad plumbing monster! How can I rate them a 1000 stars? I called two other plumbing companies last night and they were rude, mean and unprofessional but Olivers Plumbing was fast, friendly, professional and did a wonderful job in like 1/2 an hour! Now our supply line is no longer leaking all over the bathroom floor and we dont have a crappy clamped line it is a nice threaded one with a nice inline shut off that works! I am so happy we called you guys thanks so much!!!

Not impressed. Everybody be acting funny. When I first showed up nobody could give me a straight answer regarding my role in the performance and how the Pepsi machine were to factor in. Finally after 2 or 3 hours a doctor showed up and helped me work on my.posture and quick muscle mass reduction techniques. All seemed fine but about 4 hours into the performance I tore my foot muscles all to hell doing a dance number I.stated to the manager 4 times that I did not feel comfortable performing. He just laughed in my face and told me to go look pretty. I dont think I will be showing up.to this place again with the same expectations. Someone should call peta

I had a break in the old pipe for the sewer line in my basement. Dan Oliver came very quickly after my call, gave me an estimate and set it up to come the next morning. He and his assistant, Matt, came when expected and dug in (literally) - it was a horrible task to undertake. But, over the course of 2 days, without complaint, they cleaned out the mess, fixed the pipe, refilled the hole with cement and hauled away the debris. The job was done efficiently, quickly and I am very happy with the results. Great company, hard workers, professional results - I highly recommend them for any plumbing or heating problem.
