Nobody gets excited about the idea of getting electrical work done, but Lou and and other guys at Commom Ground Electrical made it stress free and they did an amazing job. They are also nice guys! We had all of our outlets updated, our breaker box updated, new lights installed and a new line from the breaker box to the BGE line installed. They handled everything, including getting the required city inspections done and scheduling the main hookup with BGE. Can’t recommend highly enough! Thanks again guys!

I loved their billboard and needed some service done at our house. Lou and his apprentice were extremely helpful and informative. They fixed a problem so fast I was baffled on how quick they came in and out. Looking for electricians... I put out the call to my network and Common Ground came up as highly recommended. I spoke with Stewart for a phone consultation regarding the different electrical projects which I had for which he seemed excited to work on. Stewart was expeditious in both booking my jobs and coming to my house to complete the various projects required. As the house continued to unfold and additional electrical work was needed I called the Common Ground for which they were highly responsive and competitively priced. My new 200amp panel, 240 volt outlet, wiring, and high power wiring for electric water heating was installed with great care. When several snags were hit, Stewart worked with me to find the best deal and timing to come back to finish some of the tasks. I will recommend Common Ground to all of my friends in need of electrical services.

Stewart was outstanding in all aspects of my service call. He was responsive to text messages and arrived at the scheduled time. I had a dimmer switch installed in my older home and he explained all the wiring to me when I said I tried to do the job myself. He even took additional steps to make the dimmer switch look appealing as the rotary knob was protruding from the wall plate. I greatly appreciate his attention to detail and the time he took to explain the installation (what each colored wire meant in my wall and on the dimmer switch). Its hard to find a company that takes the time to do the job correctly and also be educational. I only wish I had called Common Ground Electrical earlier. I will call them the next time that I need a job done.

Hiring people to work on my home is always daunting. I am super excited to have met Lou & Stu; I now have my go-to electricians! Not only do they do excellent and high-level work, but they are also responsive and professional. Lou & Stu installed a bunch of receptacles in my garage while replacing an old GFCI outlet without me even asking; they saw it was old and outdated. They also installed a whole house surge protector, which I wasnt even aware was a thing until they mentioned it after seeing my expensive camera gear plugged into some outlets in my home. It’s not just having someone who can do some work for you but having someone looking out for you that makes Common Ground so great.

Dont waste your time researching local electricians, you have to go with Common Ground Electrical. They had by far the most reasonable quote, and Stu was extremely easy going and patient with all my questions. And didnt try to upsell me on anything we didnt need like some other company we called. Ive had two experiences with Common Ground Electrical. The first time, we had an issue on the weekend. They were booked up, but referred us to another electrician (who was also great) who could come out immediately. The second time, a Tuesday, they were able to come out within about an hour of my morning call, and quickly diagnosed the issue causing our entire home to be without useable power (not to mention flickering lights since we moved in). Less than 3 hours later, we were fully back online and comforted to know that an improperly wired breaker that shouldnt have passed inspection in the first place was no longer going to give us trouble. Stu and Lou at Common Ground will be our go-to electricians should we ever need them again! Overall, a great experience when we needed it most!
