    Cool Factory was assigned to work on an issue by my warranty company. They were able to quickly fit us in, as we had no heat. They determined that the issue would require replacement of our air handler. Equipment was ordered and the install scheduled. The process went smoothly from start to finish. Good communication and follow-through from the office staff and showed up for scheduled appointments and equipment install went as planned and heat/ac is back up and working well.

    Cools Factory has been the most professional company I have worked with when it has to do with HVAC. The old company I used couldn’t figure out the problem once I transferred to them, they figured out what was wrong with my system on the first day on the job. I was was satisfied once they came back out to install my unit. Now my AC works great. One thing is for sure the staff is amazing!

    Our heating system was downed then my Home Warranty Insurance assigned to Cool Factory for replacement just the furnace only. I was explained before the date of installation. The technician showed up as was scheduled and job was done on the same day. I was very satisfied with the service. I recommend Cool Factory for your HVAC needs.

    I purchased a home with a 25+ year old HVAC system so it was no surprise to me when the furnace finally conked out 4 years later. I placed a claim with AHS who sent out Cool Factory. The technician was prompt and quickly confirmed that the furnace should not be used and would need to be replaced. I decided to have the entire unit replaced to avoid further issues and to use Cool Factorys services to do so. I was not disappointed. The team of 2 technicians arrived promptly and worked continuously to remove the old unit and install the new unit.The team was extremely courteous and organized. They had to pull my back door off the hinges and took the time to explain some of the features of the new system. The work was completed in about 5 hours and my home was left clean and orderly with everything restored to its normal state. The techs even took the time to test the unit with us and ensure that we were satisfied with everything.Hassan in particular was great to work with. He provided courteous and understanding service when we hit a few bumps in the road on my end.     My gas furnace was leaking and had to be shut off right before a freezing 3-day weekend in January. I had to go through the warranty company and expected a hassle, but Cool Factory guys came, diagnosed on a Thursday. It went through AHS and they were able to install a new unit on Monday. They explained everything that was being done, and what the modifications were that I would have to pay for -- not covered by the warranty agreement. My furnace is on the 3rd floor of the townhouse, but they had a very muscular guy with them and were in and out within a couple of hours.

    Recommend this service!They were safe, on time, efficient and incredibly friendly. Usually it takes forever to find someone to fix our heat and AC. This time, with winter and snow creeping up so quickly the service at Cool Factory was top notch. They answered all our questions and gave us a great deal.     **Written especially for those who form opinions strictly on reviews - Read them, but trust your own judgment based on your specific needs and interactions with the company**Cool Factory came through for us! After contacting our home warranty company and having Sam initially dispatched to diagnose the issue with our 16+ year system, we spoke with them to understand more about a repair vs replacement. (Full replacement was not covered by our warranty, so Cool Factory presented options within and outside of coverage). After careful consideration, outside estimates and MANY questions (thank you, Tamika, for your extreme professionalism and patience), we decided on a full-system replacement. Cool Factory explained each of the line items and even included reconnection of add-ons to the new unit. Fernando #1, Fernando #2 and Naeim, all, came on 1/27/22 and presented themselves as knowledgeable, respectful, and hard-working techs (during team efforts as well as individual tasks), to complete the job right and in a very timely manner! They were courteous and responsive to our questions and even allowed us to record their instructional overview on the use of our new system, so that we could refer to it later. Tamika, again, went above beyond during post-installation follow-up. Though we asked a lot of questions (back to the earlier point of determining what works for your specific needs), we were never treated with anything less than great care and consideration that we were empowered with everything to make the best decision for our family. Much appreciated!!

The technicians were informative and knowledgeable, they did the work swiftly, and cleaned up after themselves.     I normally dont take the time to write reviews. period. But I do believe in giving credit where it is due. I am/was a customer with American Home Shield Warranty and they are such a rip off! They do not cover anything! When my AC condenser was diagnosed that it needed to be replaced, AHS told me that they didnt cover for each and everything that was necessary for a proper installation... and they wouldnt tell me how much they were actually covering! It was over $2,000 something out of my pocket! Plus the technician who came told me that in all honesty, because my system was over 15 plus years, that it wouldnt be long before another unit in my system failed. I once again reached out to American Home Shield and told them that Cool Factory technicians and also when I spoke with the ladies in the office- that my whole system needed to be replaced, but that they had to follow the rules of the contract between them and AHS and also between my contract and AHS- meaning basically that AHS wanted each unit to actually completely fail before they were willing to accept a diagnosis for replacement. I would have to do band aid by band aid, part by part, service fees, etc. Just ridiculous. Cool Factory gave me another alternative which was to go outside my warranty and have my whole system replaced (for about the same cost, if not less over time with ahs) all in one day, all with Carrier brand, PLUS they gave me 2 additional types of warranties and a one year maintenance plan. The technicians came in the same week and in one day I had a beautiful new Carrier system and the air flow is great and its quiet, and I know I dont have anything to worry about anymore with my system. I CANCELED my contract with AHS.

    Cool Factory was dispatched to service my faulty thermostat by AHS in the summer of 2019. I had an issue with one thermostat out of the two in my house. However, they checked the other one and returned to replace both for me, through AHS.In December 2019, my attic furnace stopped working, (A different company who did my winter check-up in October 2019 warned me about a crack that may cause the failure of my unit since my Goodman brand was already over 15 years old) and AHS dispatched Cool Factory again to my house. After their diagnosis to replace the furnace, I wasnt surprised since a different company had warned me about the problem earlier.Long story short, I opted to replace my entire system (Furnace, AC unit, and Evaporator Coil) since it was due anyway. I asked for a quote from Cool Factory and compared it with 2 other companies on the same Carrier 2.5 Ton System. By far, Cool Factory was the best in pricing and servicing. My system was installed on December 24th, 2019, and Im a happy customer. Give them a chance. Dealing with them through AHS can be complicated and frustrating when service is needed urgently. However, I will use them again and recommend them to others.

    I had my furnace replaced due to it being over 20 years old. Katie and Hannah called me several times during this process informing me along the way making very comfortable with them as a company. When the unit came in ( as we know due to covid 19  took a week) the techs came on time and installed and removed the old unit quickly they were neat. The unit is running great. I am very pleased and I would use cool factory again in the future.

    Great experience with Cool Factory! I had a Freon leak in my system and needed new Evaporator Coil. They gave me next day appointment and send their best guy Naeim. He installed new Evaporator coil and fixed all the leaks. Their out of pocket cost for Freon was very reasonable through AHS Home Warranty. I would recommend them for Installing new system/Fixing Freon leak/Other HVAC issues.

    Our heat went out when it was 32 degrees outside. We called AHS on a Friday and Cool Factory contacted us immediately and came to our house the next day -- a Saturday!! The problem was diagnosed and a new furnace was ordered and replaced in a matter of days. I would recommend Cool Factory in a heartbeat!! Excellent service from both AHS and Cool Factory!

    My York AC system died this super hot July(after 20 years). Had to go through American Home Shield (nightmare) who sent Cool Factory. Tech Milad was quick w good diagnosis. Office Kerri very professional and concerning about my family with no AC in 95 degree days. They replaced it ASAP. Very competitive price. Installer Tony and Freddie are great. The 5 ton Carrier is working well. Will drop AHS after this summer. But Cool Factory is a keeper. Will use them again after moving to new house Thank you Hassan.

    This is the ONLY HVAC company I will use! They have saved my heat sensitive butt, along with my art and my dog on more than one occasion! They get out as fast as they can, in one case the same day as my house was a roasting 93F, are friendly, caring, efficient, reliable, stand by their work and are experts at what they do. They explain everything and bend over backwards to save you money.

    Recently, I had an issue with my HVAC unit. Although the unit was running, it was not releasing heat to warm up the house. The technician who first came to diagnose the issue really didn’t know what was going on. After spending an hour and half, he recommended to replace the unit because according to him the unit was too old. I told him I built this house 7 years ago and it could not be that old. I didn’t feel comfortable with him and called the Cool Factory.This is probably the best repair experience I ever have in my 68 years of life. The employees at the Cool Factory I spoke were professional and caring. They attentively listened all the details I described about the issue with heat and quickly dispatched Mr. Bernardo Morales. It was a pleasure to work with Bernardo who was not only experienced and knowledgeable but also extremely polite and pleasant. In just a few minutes he told me there was a problem with the gas valve. He removed the gas valve and told me he would be back once he gets the new part. He returned after a couple of days and replaced the gas valve and the unit was operational again. As an Army retiree, I call Bernardo’s work ethics “above and beyond” with his duty. He checked the unit filter and told me it was dirty and then replaced it. He also set the adjustment on my HVAC unit since it runs on propane gas.I also like to thank Katy and Mika who handled my calls at the Cool Factory. My both appointments were between 9am to 2pm. When I told them I have other appointments later in the days, they accommodated my needs and dispatched Bernardo early so I could keep my other engagements.
