    I really appreciated the work of Derrick in my home yesterday! We ran into a problem with my electric power (I’m in a condo Bldg) that was not his problem but which delayed the work he was trying to do, and he was very good about it (better than me!).     We had a hole in the arched wood trim above our second story window along with rotten wood on other trim around the house.Our daughter had a wood column on the front porch that had a hole into which birds would fly, get stuck and die.Tristin Clark did an amazing job on both homes. He’s not only skilled, he’s a class act.The replacement boards are pvc, so we hope to have this job last a long time!

    I needed a new second floor window installed. House is 100 years old, nothing is square anymore and the window is a custom order wood replacement one. Brad was great! Had to cut tile, fit it into a wonky space, work outside in the cold etc but he was amazing! Even cleaned up!

    Tristan showed up on time and did a detailed estimate of the work that needed to be done. I approved it, and he went to work. It took longer than estimated, because there ended up being some water damage to some boards that needed to be replaced. Overall, when completed, the work Tristan did was very professional and very high quality. Definitely would recommend!

    Called for kitchen pantry door fix and alignment. Had a courteous scheduler that was able to get a workman out on same day I called. Alex Nola arrived timely and was very knowledgeable about the cabinet hinges that were worn out and failing . Gave a quote and promptly went to get the needed supplies. Efficiently he switched the hinges and plumbed the door. It works and looks great. I will use this company again as they do many house things and are local. Mary Lou

    The gentleman that came to the house was friendly and knowledgeable/skilled but I believe I was overcharged for the work that was completed. Additionally, There was a charge for clean up and a charge for tool wear and tear. Why are the customers responsible for paying to have some wood shavings cleaned up and wear & tear on a few small hand tools?UPDATE 2 months after: One of the things I had them originally fix ended up needing some more work. After a short call, they came out the next day to correct the issue under warranty. As such, I am more appreciative of the higher prices knowing I get amazing service on warranty work should something go wrong.

    Quite expensive but prompt and high quality work. My only issue with my experience was that they quoted me for two days of work and when they completed the job in only one day, there was no reduction in cost due to less labor being required than they had estimated. Very grateful they were able to complete the work so rapidly but felt a little unreasonable to pay a price that reflected two days of labor for only one day of work. This was especially irritating because there were components of the job that they couldn’t actually execute and I am going to have to put the finishing touches on the job myself. The work that was done was extremely high quality however.

    We had a long list of tasks, install 2 ceiling fans, 5 light fixtures, repair light socket, repair fart fan in bath, and repair storm door closing arm. Kirk was our service tech and he was great! Very professional, courteous, and efficient. When we added a few more items he didn’t gripe and was also respectful/thoughtful of my wife’s work schedule at home and made sure to not disturb her when she had an impotent call. As far as pricing, I was given a quote on scene and knew what I should expect to pay.. it was all laid out. All in all I would recommend. If you get Kirk, you’re in good hands.

    The handyman showed up on time, was courteous and patiently explained the work to me and gave me a quote. The job was to repair about a 2x2 hole in drywall in the ceiling. The work was done well and carefully. I removed a star in this review because the cost was very high compared to similar professional services I have hired in the past (plumbers, electricians, HVAC, etc.). I agreed to the quote before work began because I needed to have the work done as soon as possible, so I have no complaints with the quote-first approach. I contacted the office later to ask them about the quote and the owner kindly explained their pricing policy and said that most customers like the certainty of the up-front quote. Overall, it was a good job done at a higher than normal price.

    Mark was amazing. I started a project over the weekend and got myself in over my head. I was stuck and didnt know how to proceed. Mark came out, assessed the situation and completely resolved it in about 35 minutes. He was friendly and communicated clearly every step of the process. He even gave me some tips to help me prevent the situation in the future. The only complaint I have is that it was really pricey - but hey, if you want someone really competent to come out and fix your problem really fast, youre going to have to pay a little bit, and I did so gladly.

    We first contacted My Handyman to check an electrical line for a new electric stove we are purchasing and to see if the gas line for the old gas stove had shut off valves. Loren was our contact and he was extremely friendly, efficient and did his job well.He noted some dry wall cracks that weve had repaired repeatedly (and somewhat superficially). Loren said MY Handyman had an excellent Dry Wall person and referred us on the spot. Brad was the expert and let me assure you he was excellent and fastidious with his repair work. We couldnt be happier with both technicians and if they are examples of others from My Handyman you can rest assured your work will be well completed (although you will have to be prepared to pay what it costs to get excellent work completed.

    I had a custom display case mounted on the wall. The gentleman that did the work was very personable and did a good job. He also had several ideas on how to make the case physically stable upon mounting to the wall.Kirk, the technician that came to the house, did wear a facial mask and booties over his shoes. That was appreciated.I would like to say the original guy that was to come to the house was feeling ill that day. John from My Handyman called and quickly arranged for Kirk to come to house that day to take care of the job. That was much appreciative. Also appreciative no one came that was feeling not well.The only complaint I could have is it is a pricey service, but worth it if the job is well done. With that said, I would for sure use this company again. Also note this is my second or third time I have used this company. The previous work was also done well.

    Greg and Kirk were amazing! Greg gave me a fair price for the job and Kirk did an excellent job redoing my shower. Even when the job took longer than anticipated, Kirk was professional and patient paying attention to details. He didnt rush to complete the job on an arbitrary schedule, he did it right. Greg stayed in touch the whole time to make sure I was satisfied. I highly recommend this business and will be using them again for future repairs or improvements.

    Charges are very high. Too expensive. It took only 15 minutes to fix. $150 would have been reasonable instead of $230.     Had an awesome experience with Loren. I called and was able to get an estimate for the simple tasks over the phone. The day of I was sent a text and email with his picture and he arrived on time. He let me know the range (depending on time) and went to work with no trouble. I even left for a little while and came back to him being almost done. He was very friendly and courteous and did everything I needed, asking questions as he was installing things to make sure it was what I wanted. The cost was cheaper than others I had received quotes from and it was easy to schedule and get done.

    I hired My Handyman to look at a variety of items on my to do list. The handyman that came out was friendly and informative. We stetted on some drywall work and the result was great. My only issue, is the cost of the work. Based on the hours spent on the project, it came out to $200 per hour with very little material cost so that is almost all labor. That seems high for a handyman service.

Kirk Williams did a phenomenal job! He was efficient, meticulous and professional. We are beyond happy with the job that Kirk did. The whole process - from obtaining a quote to making an appointment to having the work done was very smooth.     I was very satisfied with the service I received from the technician who came to check on my gutters. I thought they were clogged after 13 years with no cleaning, however, he found that the gutter covers I had installed had prevented clogging and my only problem, which he addressed, was some clogging of the downspouts and drain in the yard. He was experienced and performed his job within the one hour time frame. I would call My Handyman again for anything I need around my house.
