    We called Ferris Plumbing to assess a serious plumbing issue we were having that involved a main drain. Matt E. Came out to assess and give us a quote. The problem required breaking through the concrete floor in a basement bathroom. The problem could have been very extensive and require great expense. Matt E. and his Apprentice, Colin, worked all day on the problem. Matt was awesome, he was very sympathetic to our anguish and really showed his experience and expertise to fix the problem. We highly recommend Matt and Ferris plumbing for any, and all, of your plumbing needs!

    We had an excellent experience with Ferris Plumbing, Heating & Cooling when our furnace needed to be replaced in January so we turned to them for help in replacing our hot water tank. Matt Ferris quoted us a price after receiving pictures and information on the current tank and we were scheduled for installation the next day. Tim was very professional as he answered our questions about the installation of the new tank before and after he completed the job. We were very impressed with his work.     Here is our recent experience with split system installation. We got a quick estimate, with deduct options. The scope of work was clear. They answered questions. Equipment delivery was lightning fast. The work started promptly, was done safely, and the team was both competent and polite. The job was completed faster than expected and the quality of work was good. The jobsite was left clean. Office admin was easy to work with, too. We have used Ferris for multiple plumbing and HVAC projects on multiple properties -- the outcome of their work is always better than the industry average.

    I contacted Ferris Plumbing when we began to have water pressure issues. They came out quickly to diagnose the problem. It was determined that we needed a new well tank and whole house filter.     Our kitchen sink hardware, the plumbing underneath it, and the garbage disposal were all failing miserably. Matt or “the other Matt” as he goes by did an incredible job swapping everything out. It is awesome to have a fully functioning kitchen again. They also delivered this service at an incredible value. As good as it looks from above, I’m seriously in awe at how good everything looks underneath. The plumbing is much cleaner and no more looking at hideously corroded pipes!

    Matt, Matt and team did an excellent job in getting us up and running. This was my first time with Ferris and when my boiler failed I called my previous HVAC team. They came out found the issue and said they would have a quote by 5pm. I called the next morning and they again said by 5pm. I decided to call Ferris and they were here in a few hours, quote by 8am next day. I said go, new boiler and parts were delivered that afternoon. Team was here at 7am next day and job was complete by 4pm. Above and beyond my expectations.

    I called Matt to take a look at some pipes and joints that were corroded and starting to drip. He came out and replaced the pipes that were corroded, as well as a pressure relief valve. He was quick and proficient and I was very happy with his work. I will definitely call him again and highly recommend him.

Once they figured out what was wrong with my AC they came up with an affordable, swift (next day) solution so that we did not have to go without AC during the 95 degree weather. They communicated with me during the entire process and made sure that I understood what was being done and why it was being so there were no hidden costs. I would absolutely recommend them to friends and family and will be turning to them first with any future issue that my arise.

    Very happy with this service. Had a leak in my basement, and Andrew from Ferris was out the next day, to give me a quote, which I approved, and he got the job done in no time. He also made a handy suggestion on a quick improvement to my system he could make, which I also took him up on. Next time I have a plumbing need, I will be sure to go with Ferris Plumbing!March 2024 Update-- Ferris Plumbing re-piped my entire basement, and relocated my hot water heater, and did a tremendous job! They were very clear and precise with their estimate, and did the entire job in one day (including coordinating with a subcontractor for moving the electrical of the hot water heater).     Just moved to the area and needed a plumber to deal with a foul smell in the basement bathroom and Matt found the source immediately. He fixed some leaking pipes and seals around a tank very efficiently. He also went through the house to let me know of a handful of things I’ll want to get ahead of before they become problems later and I’ll definitely bring him back to fix these potential issues.All around great work, efficient, easy to talk to and you can tell Matt really knows his stuff and cares about the quality of his work.     I needed a new water heater and I had been without hot water for 10 days. I called Joyce Heating and Cooling first and they told me they couldnt install a water heater for 1 week. So I called Ferris Plumbing and Heating and Matt scheduled me for the tankless water heater installation within 48 hrs. Matt ordered the water heater promptly and it was delivered to my home the next day. He did a great job with the water heater installation and explained to me how my water filter worked. He arrived on time for the scheduled appointment. I will be calling Ferris for further Plumbing and Heating services. I am very happy with the service Matt provided.

    Called about leaking water heater. Got a response back the same day and scheduled install for very next day. I was surprised by how quickly they could fit us into their schedule. Cost was about $2,000 less than quote from another plumbing company. Made sure we knew what all the costs covered and about state rebates for high efficiency water heaters. Install went really smoothly. Even laid down runners so floors wouldn’t get dirty going in and out. Planning on using same company for any and all future plumbing needs.

    Unfortunately our hot water tank didn’t know it was Christmas Eve when it decided to stop working and flood the basement. It made for an interesting evening and next day as we planned on hosting Christmas dinner. I texted Matt at Ferris Plumbing and Heating at noon on Christmas day and he responded almost immediately despite being with his own family on Christmas. He was extremely responsive and helpful to resolve our problem.     Highly recommend if you’re looking for fair priced, quality work with attention to detail and the added bonus of great guys.An undetected leak underneath our bathroom sink went unnoticed for too long, leading to water damage and mold. Past the point of just fixing the leak, the whole room had to be redone. I needed the kitchen sink and pipes in our 2nd bathroom checked, in addition to a noisy boiler in the basement. Matt was the quickest to respond, to schedule an estimate and to provide a quote compared to all other companies I contacted. He was prompt, quick and thorough, delivering updates and information as promised. This level of attention was consistent throughout our time working together.Within 3 weeks of starting the job, Matt and his guys transformed our stinky, old, 80’s bathroom into the one I’d spent all summer dreaming up and hoping would turn out well. The gobs of tape and strange pipe work are now beautifully redone in the kitchen and 2nd floor bathroom. The monstrous sounds of the boiler are quieter.     Discovered our water tank was leaking, and did my due diligence in contacting local plumbers. Contacted 4, left voicemails, emails, FB DMs etc. Matt replied to my DM almost instantly (late in the evening) and suggested I call him in the morning. I did, at 7 am, he answered immediately, scheduled a visit for end of same day, was up front about all replacement options, and once we selected the right option (replace with tankless system), he scheduled replacement for next day and had all equipment, parts and supplies delivered same day. Arrived the following day and replaced the system without incident. He communicated his ETAs, and stayed in contact with a level of professionalism you rarely see. Super nice guy, equally nice employees, and is not only a highly talented plumber, but knows exactly how to run a business (communication, transparency, honesty, timeliness). Of the four plumbers I contacted, one got back to me saying he no longer installed water heaters (odd), and the other two have not yet gotten back to me. That should make your decision easy.I would also add that the one negative review shown here is unfair and fully inconsistent with the nearly identical comments made by the 86 other reviewers. Sometimes the absence of bad reviews (which this reviewer attributed to filtering) is due to someone actually being very good at what they, how they do it, resulting in a happy customer.
