*2ND TIME REQUESTING*I had a frozen pipe busted in my master closet on Christmas day, when I encountered the problem, I went into panic mode initially. I got myself together, vacuumed up the water and dried my tears. I called Original plumber yesterday 12/26 and theyre here today to fix the problem. Despite all the unfortunate events around the county with the weather, they were still able to fit me in their schedules.Mykola, Will and Jake were professional, articulate and knowledgeable. Austin and the dig crew were all very professional and extremely efficient - they did their best to not disturb anything that wasnt necessary. Found the leak and replaced the entire pipe from outdoor meter to the main cut off next to my water heater in the garage. A++++ for the Original Plumber I had heavy work done at my home and I was very worried (plumbing and septic makes me nervous)! We needed to relocate our septic tanks at our home in order to put an addition on the back of our house. I decided to go with the Original Plumber based on Google Reviews and now I can see why so many customers left them such stellar reviews.Austin told me it would be a one (possibly two) day job with little plumbing interruption. When they started digging, we were all shocked to find a giant piece of granite a few feet under the soil. Jud and Jake worked tirelessly at chipping away at the granite bit by bit with a jackhammer. I’m talking hours!! They were so dedicated to the point where I think a part of them enjoyed the challenge of beating the granite ;). Jud and Jake won the challenge and successfully got my new tanks in the ground. If that wasn’t hard enough, we had a pool installed last year and I told the guys that my main line to the pool was somewhere underground and not to hit it. They used hand shovels to find and keep the pool line in tact along with all the wiring. I’m still amazed.The job that was supposed to take one day took four, but only because of what they uncovered under the soil - and with only 30 minutes of plumbing interruption!They did such an amazing job that even my husband couldn’t help but take note of how fantastic it all turned out. Really incredible. Jud, Jake and Austin were really given a tough task in my yard but knocked the ball out of the park. I couldn’t be more grateful to them. They have blessed this family in providing the first step of us to be able to begin the construction of our addition for my mother in law. Thank you so much!

The Original Plumber is the very best plumbing service that I have ever dealt with. My mom had a pipe that was under her front yard clog. It caused backwash and flooding in her home. This occurred on a Sunday morning. I called The Original Plumbers number and the phone was answered right away by a very polite lady. Within a couple of hours, I received a text that a plumber was enroute to my moms home. Our plumber Sam also phoned me to let me know he was on the way. To make a long story short, Sam evaluated the problem quickly, gave us a very reasonable quote, and kept us informed as to what was going on step by step. Sam arranged to have all the equipment needed to fix the clogged pipe at my moms house early the next morning. He was also able to get her water back on before he departed. Sam was back early the next morning with all the equipment needed to dig down to the pipe, 6 1/2 feet, and replace the pipe. Sam went above and beyond by getting up most of the water from the flooding that had occurred. He had the clogged pipe fixed quickly and did an excellent clean up. I also want to note that I received updates via text from the company or direct phone calls from Sam. Like I mentioned, the price was very reasonable. I never take the time to write reviews but just had to in this case. I live 6 hours from my mother and was able to handle, with the help of Sam, all of this via phone. Sam was so nice and patient with my mom. Thanks to the Original Plumber my mom is relieved and happy. You cant go wrong using this company.

Blake came out to locate and check our septic system for us, as we wanted to be proactive having only owned our home a few years. Blake found it quickly and dug exactly where needed, with little damage to the yard. Septic needed to be emptied, and after discussing pricing and options, we also went with risers. Blake handled all of it professionally and efficiently, educating us along the way. He was respectful of our property and answered all of our questions.

Fantastic. In terms of home improvement, I am the definition of a guy who knows enough to be dangerous. Fortunately, I also know when I am in over my head. Ive had Ryan with The Original Plumber come out to quote several things from fixing my 500 deep well pump, replace 23 in-ground pockets with yard hydrants and also this simple pot filler. At every step he/they have been responsive, punctual, and professional. For some people, its important to find skilled professionals you trust for repeat work. For me, Ryan Thompson and the Original Plumber will be working together for a long time to turn my fixer-upper property into a dream home.

When I noticed my 16 year old water heater starting to leak, I called a local plumber but never received a return call. I then called The Original Plumber and they were very responsive. Not only did they call me right away, they were at my home in less than 2 hours. Since it was about 3 PM on a Friday, I never thought they could remove my old water heater, install a new one, and replace an old pressure reducer valve in the garage in just a matter of a few hours...but they did! The plumber who did the work (Austin) was very professional, very courteous, and even installed shoe covers on his shoes to keep my floors clean while working. He stayed until the job was done right and everything was working perfectly. I couldnt be happier with the service I received. If I ever need a plumber again, I wont call the local company in my city (who, by the way, never did return my call), I will definitely call The Original Plumber! They are very responsive, courteous, knowledgeable, and professional.

Highly Recommend! I’m very selective and where I guess high/good reviews, and Mr. plumber and their team certainly well earned and deserve a high recommendation! Their team sent out Dale and his apprentice Wes to install a water filtration system to my water heater and they did an absolutely phenomenal job. Dale was extremely thorough and did a great job explaining the entire process both at the time of the assessment and installation visits. They quoted me a fair price, did their work in a very timely manner, and the quality of work is very clean and crisp (no mess at all). Dale is especially is knowledgeable and has experience around installing many different types of water filtration systems, so if that is a service that you need, I highly recommend requesting him.

He was professional, knowledgeable, accommodating, clean, and worked efficiently to remedy my issue. He went on to identify a pressure issue (that I had noticed for some time but ignored). He made sound suggestions, then offered a reasonable price. I was back in business with water flowing properly within 6 hours of my first call this morning. He made quick work installing my kitchen faucet in just under an hour and a half. Four or five years ago, I had The Original Plumber install a water line to the fridge I had moved to the garage so I could have ice. I didn’t have his name, but I was very impressed with him, so I put the business card on my new fridge and I told myself if I ever needed a plumber, that’s who I would call.My toilet wouldn’t stop running. I tried to fix it , but I’m not a plumber, so I called them . Amanda was very pleasant and kept me updated as to when they would be coming.Wes Roland and his apprentice, Dale, (sorry I didn’t know his last name) arrived on time. Very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Wes gave me different options. I chose one, and I believe it was only 30 minutes or less and they were done!Once again, I was very pleased and I will keep that card on my fridge.

Evidently, some people never have any routine maintenance completed on their septic systems. Perhaps more evident, is the resulting clog and back up from these peoples carelessness, which is what my wife and I came home to Friday evening.We knew how to temporarily solve the problem and buy ourselves a little time until a septic tech could arrive. While I did what I could, my wife called in a pro. This pro failed to show up. Just never came. In our frustration, we began the search again and found The Original Plumber. What a difference in responsiveness. We got an immediate answer, we’re able to schedule an appointment for the next morning, and received confirmation that someone was on the way.The techs showed up right on time and oh man, what a relief. They had actual answers to our questions, a real plan to correct our issues, and were genuinely friendly and professional people.Not to mention, they went right to work. No standing around, no time wasting, just solid, efficient work. With everything they had to do, I expected several hours of waiting, maybe a second appointment to finish up, but no. About an hour and a half and these guys were in the road with our system functioning as it should.Great tech, great company, great experience. These are the only people we will use going forward.

Awesome company! David Fowler arrived at our home early and even called ahead! He explained everything he was going to do and he did exactly that. He gave us a great price, worked hard, was very knowledgeable, professional and respectful. He wore shoe covers in the home and a mask upon request. I will never call another plumbing company again. I highly recommend The Original Plumber and Mr. Fowler. I’m not sure why but google wont let me make a new review for each technician. Professional, knowledgeable, and honest! Provided a quote and I asked around for others just for due diligence and their price beat all the others. Also, the other companies didnt know what a piece of equipment I had installed was but The Original Plumber knew exactly what it was and explained my setup to me so I knew the root of the issue and how to avoid it in the future. Other companies were going to replace with the same product which turned out to be not up to standard for my setup and would have caused the same issue but Original Plumber installed an upgrade that should have been there from the beginning. Blake and Jordon came out to do what turned out to be a very difficult job on emptying my septic tank . While they worked on getting the job done it started raining which didnt stop them in the least. They were both friendly and very open to answer my many questions. Hi my name is Robin Williams I had gotten the original plumber to come out and take a look at my situation with my water pipes to see what we would need to repair the pipes Shaun came out along with his partner and arrived right on time. They were very professional and knowledgeable about my situation. I will have a large job to have done and I will definitely be using Shaun to do the job . They were ver helpful in showing me what had to be done....I highly recommend them for the job.

The main office corrected an excessive estimate. On 1_6_2021 I received an estimate of over $850 to remove and replace three kitchen sink shutoff valves. At the most a 2 hour job. Outrageously expensive, plus the technicians arrived without the replacement valves. I called the office and informed them the estimate was too high and I would not be using their services. Within minutes I received a call back from a supervisor who asked me why I didnt have the repair completed. When I gave him the estimate he agreed it was excessive. He offered to send out another plumber the same day and reduced the price by almost $600. Later in the afternoon Jeremy arrived and in an hour or slightly more the valves were replaced and functioning properly. I am glad I called the office to apprise them of the situation. It seems it was a pricing error on the part of first technician which the supervisor recognized and corrected. Very pleased with their response, the repair and the price. I respect a company with excellent customer service.

Great company. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because when I called I spoke to a young lady that was rather unhelpful. I ended up having to call back to get another person to help me. The plumber that actually did the work was great and knowledgeable; however, they sent out a second guy that decided he couldn’t do the work. Rather than tell me he just got in his truck and left. The other plumber didn’t come until the next day.

Woke up on a Saturday morning to my basement flooded by a broken water heater. Called 5 plumbers in my area who all said they couldnt come out until Monday. Sam and Adam came out within hours and assessed the damage. They even helped me mop up a bit! They talked me through options, removed out the old unit and made it so we had water overnight. Sunday morning, Sam and Juan came back out and we had hot water again by 930 AM. I cannot recommend The Original Plumber enough. Sam Burton of The Original Plumber is outstanding as a plumber & as a person. I had bad leaks through a light fixture in my kitchen & through my fire alarm in my hall. I was repeatedly emptying a large bucket I used to catch water & so was fairly desperate. I found The Original Plumber through Angi & saw that they had excellent reviews. The appointment setter took note of my problem, was polite & professional. Sam arrived early , patiently listened to my problem & explained what he needed to do in a way I could understand. He had to replace several water pipes in the ceiling. He was careful to cause as little mess as possible & cleaned up after he had completed the job. My A/C was not working & my condominium felt like a sauna but he worked all day without complaint. He kept his professionalism throughout. At my request he returned later & replaced a leaking valve in my shower. He had to move my heavy china cabinet to access the valve through the wall. He did so without harming my grandmother’s old china & so won high praise from me. Sam is thoughtful, patient & polite as well as skilled. I would use this company again in a heartbeat. I have recommend them to my neighbors & my complex manager. I highly recommend this company to any & all. They are great!

We woke up Monday morning, 7/11/2022, to water covering the floor of our upstairs bathroom. We turned the water off at the commode. The water leaking started sometime after midnight and continued to leak from the upstairs bathroom to the main level laundry room and finally to the basement. The first crew from our insurance company thought that the leak was from the feeder line that goes to the tank. When the crew from The Original Plumber arrived they immediately determined that the leak was actually from the tank. During their investigation, they also found that ALL the copper piping in our house was corroding from the inside to the outside. We were very lucky we got a warning by the tank leaking, otherwise, we could have had leaks everywhere!!! Our entire house had to be re-piped. We were able to get the new technology in home piping and added a new filtration system. We are soooo thankful for the crew from The Original Plumber for saving us from a MAJOR DISASTER!!! They replaced 3 commodes, re-piped the entire house and added the filtration system ALL in one day!!! We were VERY impressed with every aspect of service from Ryan and the crew. We give them a five-star rating and would give them more if there was a higher rating!!!

We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to The Original Plumber, and especially Brian P, who came out last week to address our plumbing issue. Brian quickly and accurately determined that we had a compromised pipe under a slab and advised that we have a leak detection company come out to locate the precise area. They arrived the next day and located the leak to within a few inches, which thankfully was not under any living spaces. Then, on Friday, New Year’s Day, Brian came back out just to look at the work done by the leak detection company and brief us on how things would proceed from there. Who does that on their day off? We were so impressed!Brian demonstrated care and concern for our situation and reassured us that he would return the very next morning and get the problem resolved.I observed Brian as he worked to jackhammer the 2 ft2 area of concrete, dig down to access and then fix the pipe. It was not an easy job, but Brian knew exactly what to do and he gladly answered any questions I had along the way. Once the pipe was repaired and tested, he filled up the hole and poured the new concrete patch. He did it all with a great attitude and a smile. He finished the job in a timely fashion and neatly cleaned up the work area before leaving. True professionalism from start to finish!This is the first time we have utilized the services of The Original Plumber. As a result of their responsiveness, including the friendly office staff, and especially the professionalism and expertise of Brian P, we have already decided to have them replace our water heater and add a recirculating pump.

He arrived the very next day, in the same fashion, and completed his work in nearly half the time he originally estimated, and on par with the quote he provided the previous day. After he finished and tested everything, I have every confidence my issue was corrected the RIGHT way, and is no longer going to be a concern for many years to come!! I called this company to have my septic pumped out. They removed the top and told me I didnt need it pumped. I was not charged. This is the kind of business people need to use. They are above board. I used Home Advisor to request bids on a plumbing project - hooking up a tank-less water heater. Original Plumber were the first to respond and were able to come the same day to estimate the work needed. Adam and Todd showed up and provided me with an excellent understanding of what needs to get done, the cost, and schedule. They were able to squeeze me in just two days later! As noted in other reviews they use online tools to schedule, create estimates, contracts and invoices. As for the work - Adam and Todd were very efficient and professional. They also took time to explain some of the things they were doing, and even gave me a great tip (on how to best use a Teflon tape). I was so impressed that I asked them to come back for another more complex project - running more water supply lines to two stalls in our barn. Adam and Todd came for this project too. They had no problem crawling through a very dusty barn to get the job done. Adam went the extra distance to suggest things they could do to optimize the installation. He did this without revising the project scope or cost. When we installed the Tank-less Water Heater, I realized that some of the original plumbing that was in place for the wash rack was busted. Adam took the broken components and was able to replicate them successfully. All in all I am extremely happy with The Original Plumber, and specifically Adam and Todd. I will be using them for all my future plumbing needs.

We had a plumbing issue at our rental property that was discovered when we were supposed to be having a dishwasher installed. The installer said he was unable to do the install until it was fixed. Original Plumber was the second plumber I called, and they were able to go out to the house and do the job within the hour. I was pretty impressed with that. They sent Taylor out and he arrived to the house even earlier than the ETA I was given. Also impressive. So even less than an hour from when I called them, the job was being done (and was completed in a little over 2). The shut off valve for the dishwasher did not shut off, so that was replaced. Taylor also discovered that the water pressure to the house was a bit high, and called and gave us an option to replace now or wait until later, as it wasnt so high to where it would start blowing seals/causing leaks. He dumbed it down and explained why it was significant, what causes it, etc., and answered all of my questions so that we understood. We ended up having that (the pressure release valve) done, too, just to get it taken care of. Because the job was over $200, we got $50 off, and Taylor knocked another $40 off as well, saving us $90 on the total job. I am not sure how fair or competitive their prices are, as this is the first time weve ever had a need for a plumber. The first company I contacted could not come out until Friday due to their schedule and our tenants schedule, unfortunately, and I did not receive an estimate, so I have no comparison. However, I can say that that their promptness, professionalism, and organization is top notch. While I was not on site and did not get to meet Taylor in person, our tenant called after he left and told me that he was very impressed with him, and that he was very friendly, and professional. He appreciated that he was very straight and to the point, and was friendly, but not overly friendly as to waste time and run the clock chit-chatting. His main concern was getting the job done. Our tenant, as well as us, definitely appreciate that! They also send an email of the invoice with before and after pictures of the work that was completed, which I thought was very cool. I have never seen that with any company before. It is definitely good to have as a reference for future situations that may come up in which you would need it. Its also especially appreciated in this case where it is a rental property where we werent able to be there personally, so that we know what was said was being done actually was. I had called this business out when I started to have problems with my AC unit not working. My father had actually recommended me them—and had given me contact info for Justin. He was the one I spoke to on the phone about the problem I was having and he set everything up for me. This heat in Georgia is sweltering and the house was averaging like 84° and so it was a top priority to get it fixed asap. Justin was not able to come out and do the diagnosis himself but Jevon was able to come almost immediately and worked with my schedule. Jevon diagnosed the problem and gave me a recommendation of replacing the entire system (it was old) but also gave me a couple of other options i could do if I wasn’t able to replace the system. I originally planned to have just the refrigerant replaced but changed my mind overnight (considering the price of the refrigerant bc the system is so old) and they were able to cancel that order and get a whole new system ordered and put in within the following day. Jevon & Hunter came out to do all of the work installing the new system and now the air conditioning unit is up and running. I might also add that it’s nice being able to control everything from my phone with the Nest thermostat they installed. I have zero complaints with the whole process. They were prompt in answering my questions and I never felt that I was being pressured into anything. Jevon & Hunter were super kind, sweet, and professional—despite having to work in the heat of the attic & outside. They were professional and everything was completed in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again in the future for any other issues I may have.

Highly recommend the Original Plumber. Had a leaky toilet valve that was wasting water. When the guys arrived they listened to my comments about plumbing symptoms and decided to test my pressure regulator. Pressure was really high so they replaced the regulator. Polite, on time, knowledgeable, price a little higher than online average estimate, but they repaired the toilet at no additional cost, and also addressed my leaking washing machine issue and fixed a bathroom faucet that started dripping after pressure regulator was installed. Considering the care and attention to side issues, I was very happy with the service and price.
