Mike and Gary did an amazing job with our laundry room renovation. Hired them to make custom vanity for an 80 lbs farmhouse sink that I purchased on Wayfair, butcher block folding table, and install a new French door. Excellent service all around. Very good about communication throughout the whole process and extremely detailed and thorough with their craft. Can’t thank them enough for how the room turned out. Will 100% reach out to them again for future woodwork projects. I’ve included some before and after pictures of the transformation.

Martin & Calloway responded right away to my request for help to repair my mothers antique bed at her apartment. They scheduled an appointment right away, diagnosed the problem and returned the next week with replacement parts to fix the bed. I was impressed with their timely communication and their willingness to work on a repair that was not a major restoration project.

Martin and Calloway did a phenomenal job of cutting the bottom out of a cabinet and moving it up a few inches. They also had to cut a piece out of the cabinet doors. I had them do this so that we would have more room to put in a full sized refrigerator. They were excellent, professional and reasonable. We are more than happy with the final product and would highly recommend them for any woodwork projects. They are GREAT!

Huge thanks to Martin & Calloway for making the dining room of my dreams. I had seen board and batten molding on Pinterest/Instagram but did not know exactly what it entailed or how to create it. Gary took a couple of pictures downloaded from the internet & transformed my dining room to meet my vision exactly.In addition to the top-notch work, they communicated extremely well throughout the project, made recommendations on what would look best, and the price was completely fair. 10/10!

Update: Fixed a door that wasn’t closing/latching properly, and because it was the same door as last time, and the issue was there before the sticking issue started (sticking was worse and causing damage to frame, becoming an immediate concern and making me forget about the latching issue until a couple days after the sticking issue was fixed and I noticed the latching problem again), he gave it to us for free (he said because he didn’t inspect the door and catch and fix the extra issue the first time he was here), which was super nice and generous of him. We appreciate the quick quality work, and we now have a properly latching door we can lock now, and we’re so happy, because it’s the main bedroom door, and one of our mischievous cats was easily pushing it open to get in to steal our girl kitties food. The little stinker can’t do that anymore. You’d be surprised by the small simple things in life that can make you happy. Again, on time, quick repair, and very friendly service. We love the work done so far, and would love to use their services again in the future should they be needed.Had a sticky bedroom door that needed fixing, so turned to Google for help. A quick search yielded some possible options for repair, and I thought this company looked promising, so I reached out to them through email via their website. After a polite back and forth, a day and time were set. Hubs and I were pleased we could get a Saturday appointment, as I struggle with shyness and social anxiety, and having my husband here during a home repair really helps my nerves. Our repairman showed up in the expected time window of 9-9:30am, took a look at our problem door, and set to work. Within no more than 10-15 minutes, it was fixed. Because it was so quick and easy, he knocked the price down from an estimated $125-$175 range to an even $100. Pleasant and friendly service all around. I know who to keep in mind for future repairs or possible home improvement projects.

We recently hired Martin and Calloway to install replacement cabinet doors in our 110+ year old kitchen and to straighten some old oak doors that had settled over the years. Their work was excellent, their communications skills superb and we found them to be courteous andflexible. I recently had M&C install crown molding in my living room. I had debated for years about having the work done but after meeting Gary I was convinced that he would do a great job. He was friendly and professional. He even understood when I stood him up when my Ring doorbell failed to let me know when he arrived. He scheduled the work and let me know that weather was a factor when installing inside trim. (Good to know) The final work was meticulous and attractive. I asked him to do a few modifications and he accommodated immediately. The price was in line with what Angies List quoted. Gary was so nice that he took an additional project of altering the size of some kitchen cabinets to accommodate a new refrigerator. I would hire M&C again in a minute.

Martin and Calloway are fabulous. They refurbished and refinished my parents dining room and living room furniture to a state of glory. The leather insets on the table tops are perfect. I love showing off our new china cabinet, buffet, dining table and chairs as well as the living room tables. They also refurbished and refinished my grandparents dining chairs. We have other family heirlooms that we plan to have preserved by them in the not too distant future. We highly recommend considering Martin and Calloway!

We recently hired this company to build custom built-ins (cabinets and bookshelves) for our family room. Our entire experience was very positive from the initial quote / drawings through installation. Everyone we interacted with was professional and took the time to listen to and answer any questions we had. The quality of the built-ins is great and the craftsmanship and skill is evident in how the built-ins were measured and built to fit so perfectly in the space despite the imperfect walls / fireplace and awkwardness of ceiling beams. The quote was fair and comparable to others we received. Definitely worth the price!

We are very pleased with the work that Martin & Calloway did for us. We had them replace sliding closet doors in a bedroom with two doors that swing out. This included modifying the doorway frame. The quality of the work was excellent as was all communication. The new doors are stunning.

Martin & Calloway refaced my kitchen cabinets. The style of the cabinets did not fit the aesthetics of the home. They replaced the door fronts with a slab style and went two tone, birch upper and gray bottoms and gave the kitchen a much more contemporary look. Gary and Mike did painstaking work and payed attention to detail, spending over a week to get everything just right. They also created several floating shelves to match the cabinetry. We love what they created and it cost half the cost of replacing all the cabinetry with less mess and hassle too. They showed up when they said they would and brought lots of samples to choose from and the final product exceeded our expectations!
