My experience with Tidal Plumbing has been exceptional. I recently moved into my home and of course everything breaks down. From my initial Maintenance visit to today, Ive come to trust Tidal Plumbing. Matt, Mark & Sonny are extremely knowledgeable, professional, reliable and customer oriented. Matt always takes the time to explain what needs to be done in laymans terms. This level of transparency allows me to fully comprehend and make the best decision. I have a new boiler which was purchased and installed by Tidal Plumbing. The kitchen faucet was leaking into the basement, which required pipes to be replaced & a new faucet. I also got my washer and dryer installed. I am very pleased with the work and pricing from Tidal Plumbing. They are my go to for all my Plumbing needs. I give them five stars, for their integrity to service the customer first.

Services performed: Gas restoration and installation of new gas pipingMy gas was shut off by Con Ed. Sunny (licensed master plumber) gave me a straightforward contract that stated clearly the works to be done and a quote for the gas restoration. Sunny worked with me and explained what needed to be done. Sunny and his team communicated with me throughout the whole process. The Tidal Plumbing & Heating crew did a great job installing the new gas pipes. It was extensive work. Sunny filed the permit in a timely manner and arranged for inspections as fast as possible from DOB and Con Ed. Con Ed almost renegaded my inspection appointment by pushing it back a month later that would put me into the winter with no gas and heat. The nerve of Con Ed! Sunny fought to keep the same inspection appointment. Sunny and his crew were always present at all the inspections to ensure everything went smoothly. I am very pleased and happy with Sunny and the Tidal Plumbing & Heating crew for their excellent workmanship and responsiveness. Not only did I get my gas restored with no issue but Tidal Plumbing & Heating also got my elderly neighbor across the street gas restored on the same day. Her gas was also shut off by Con Ed. Absolutely unbelievably terrific company, service and completed work. I have contracted with several plumbing companies in the past for work on my 130 year old house and this company was excellent in setting expectations and then topping them. Juan and Robin arrived within 20 minutes of the appointment time, asked permission to enter the home and were meticulous about entering and exiting the residence, i.e. letting me know each time one or the other were leaving to obtain supplies. Both gentlemen were respectful to me and my home and left everything as if no one was even there (except the work was done!). I never realized how important being comfortable during work was until I realized that in the past I was always anxious!. Thank you Tidal and I will not be calling any other service in the future!

We went with Tidal for an oil to gas conversion based on the reviews and the reviews did not disappoint. They really are a five star company! Sunny and his crew went above and beyond SEVERAL TIMES for us and we are so grateful for all their help and service. One example: we had a separate issue with DEP that had nothing to do with the work being done by them. We picked Sunny’s brain for guidance. He reached out to us on a Friday evening and gave us extremely helpful advice that ended up saving us thousands of dollars in unnecessary work that DEP wanted us to do. I reached out to Tidal Plumbing after searching for a Master Plumber to do a NYC Local Law 152 gas piping inspection. I did my due diligence before selecting a master plumber. Tidal Plumbing had an A+ rating on the Better Business Bureau website, there were no disciplinary violations on the DOB website, they are licensed and insured and had great reviews. I made an appointment on their website and received a confirmation of the appointment shortly thereafter. I then received a written quote and contract via email.Sunny and Mark came to my house to do the scheduled inspection. They were very responsive, knowledgeable, and experienced professionals.During the inspection, they pointed out a small issue with the pipes that needed to be fixed (i.e. - wobbly pipes; missing clamps) and thoroughly explained what needed to be done and why. They gave me a quote. At my request, they returned a week later to fix the issue. They sent me the completed GPS2 form required by the DOB that same day.While they were at my house, I pointed out to them a water leak near the washing machine in my basement that I noticed before they arrived. They determined that it wasnt from the washing machine. They checked the bathrooms on each floor and found out where the leak was coming from. It was from a crack in a very old pipe. They will be returning to fix that shortly.Sunny and Mark are the Dream Team! Best plumbers Ive ever dealt with! Thanks Tidal!

The workers who have come to our home have been polite and have always left the work area clean. Knowing they are licensed and insured is also an important consideration for us. I hired Tidal Plumbing & Heating to have my Gas service with Con Edison restored after being off for 2+ years. In the midst of a harsh winter, we experienced a gas pipe leakage that resulted in a complete shutdown of our heat and hot water by Con Edison. Let me begin with saying that Tidal are excellent! Every step of the way they have been helpful, responsive, informative and truly professional. We had an issue with a gas leak which was handled badly by the first person who we had to come and deal with the problem which made dealing with National Grid an absolute nightmare. I was fortunate enough to come across Tidal who helped me navigate the complex system to get my gas leak situation solved which included dealing with the department of buildings and National Grid. It was a nightmare but Sunny and his team got everything done professionally and efficiently. And when I had another issue recently with gas, he had his guys out within 24 hours and they resolved it with a smile. The thing that struck me the most is that at every turn, I felt they genuinely cared and werent trying to nickel and dime me. That speaks volumes. Not only will I use them again, but I will recommend them to my friends and neighbors! Five stars for sure.

The way they connected all the pipes looks much better and more neat than before. I also appreciate the company offers a free 3 years boiler maintenance included on the services contract. Sunny and Tidal Plumbing are hands down the most courteous, professional and honest company I have ever dealt with.Con Ed was threatening to shut down my gas line and I called Sunny over to help me. He walked me through all the steps and told me how to work with Con Ed so my line would not get cut off.Turns out Con Ed was able to do the work for me and I did not need Tidal Plumbings services.Once I told Sunny what was done he immediately told me that he did not need to come out to do the work and gave me a full refund of my deposit. Most companies would have either kept all or part of my deposit, or would have come to do the unnecessary work just to collect the rest of the money.I will not hesitate to call on Sunny again if I ever need work done in my home. Had a problem with Con Ed shutting off my gas. After calling 3-4 plumbers that wouldnt return my call for this type of job, Sunny from Tidal came to the rescue. He filed the DOB permits for gas turn on upgraded internal lines to code coordinated with Con Ed for a new meter and gas turn on. During the 3 month process Sunny was outstanding to deal with. He updated me frequently and promptly answered all my texts and calls. Sunny proved he is an invaluable resource, I truly recommend him. Give him a call and you wont be disappointed!

We hired Tidal Plumbing after having a horrible experience with two plumbers that lasted 18 months, and were never able to complete the job. We were in a very difficult process to have our gas turned on and needed inspections from the DOB and Con Ed. It took Sonny only two weeks to get our gas turned on!! No issues at all everything was submitted on time and appointments were made and kept quickly. I wish I would have hired him last year it would have avoided us a whole winter with no heat. I got the name of Tidal Plumbing & Heating off the Better Business Bureau site for recommendations of local plumbers and was pleased they handled my request promptly & quoted me an accurate price over the phone. I discovered I needed the same repair work of the shut off valves in the kitchen as in the bathroom and they were flexible enough to handle all my plumbing problems professionally in an hour. They were on time which was important as I had to coordinate with the cooperative apartment building workers to shut the water off in the building to complete the repairs. I would recommend them highly for their professionalism, skill and fair price and will cal them again for my plumbing and heating needs in the future.

My toilet was rocking badly (actually, it would move from side to side). It turns out the flange below my toilet broke and a new one needed to be welded back on and the toilet replaced. I saw other great reviews from Tidal so I called them. Joanne, the receptionist, was pleasant and efficient. And very knowledgeable. And, best part, they were able to come repair the toilet in a day. The price they gave me was very fair. They also had to go an extra step and submit paperwork to co-op building in order to perform the work. They did this efficiently and timely. The repair itself was quick and they were very neat. I wasn’t in the apartment at the time of the repair(although my super checked in and was pleased with their work), and Sunny called me afterwards to check in and review the invoice. The price was exactly what they quoted me, no surprises at the end of the job like some other contractors. I priced out the repair with a few other companies before I found Tidal, and some were either double the price, or they weren’t able to fit me into their schedule for days out. I feel very lucky and grateful to have found Tidal. My super was so pleased that he said he will refer the rest of the apartment complex to Tidal from now on.

His crew is completely trustworthy. He will go the extra step for you.

I have never used Tidal’s services, but after trying many different options and repair services, as recommendations from people from my building I had contacted Tidal with a clogged duct behind my washer/dryer.I regret not taking down the name but someone immediately contacted me back saying my situation was not something they would be able to help with, but told me rent a leaf blower and try to blow through the vent.After succeeding in renting the leaf blower, I have finally unclogged the duct that caused me not able to use the dryer for almost a year!!Whoever I spoke on the phone, Sir! You are a true professional with ethics! Unlike other appliance repairs and hvac repairs I have contacted who wouldn’t even provide quotes on the phone after I have pinpointed the issue since their technicians would need to diagnose the issue by themselves for the same thing before providing the quote or they would lose out on the service call fees.Thank you again!Whenever I have issue with my heating unit or plumbing issues you already know whom I’ll be contacting next time.

Sonny and his team where exactly what we needed when we were on a real bind. Con Edison had given us a warning, but very short notice before they ultimately turned off the gas at my rental property in the Bronx due to a corroded pipe. Sonny and his team worked quickly and diligently to target the problem area and replace the part of the pipe/gas line that was necessary. In doing so, Sonny and his team was great in explaining to me the process step by step, coordinating with my tenants where necessary, and also coordinating with Con Edison and the city inspectors to schedule and go through the inspections that needed to be done once the work was completed. Sonny and his team showed professionalism and expertise in dealing with Con Edison and the city inspectors. While doing the work his team also was able to address another plumbing issue - running shower faucet that we had in a tenant’s apartment. Overall, Sonny and his team got me out of a real bind. As soon as I was getting ready to go to the gym and all dressed up, Con Ed (contractor) started knocking on my door. They absolutely ruined my day because they decided to shut my gas off and discovered gas leaks and not making it to the gym. I was panicking like crazy, like what the heck was I going to do? I had all these plumbers coming giving me insane quotes. Tidal was the first plumbing company that gave me a reasonable price and honestly it was the right company to work with. Matt and Sunny are true professionals and they went out of the way to fix my issue last minute since you can only have a 5 day grace period for Con Ed to turn your gas on immediately. They are always on time when it comes to fixing last minute things, responsive, super professional to their customers and hard working for working late at night. I’ve been using Tidal Plumbing ever since I purchased a house 5 years ago. A different plumber had been hired during some early renovations to do some work, but he took weeks to get a two or three day job done, and then it was clear that some things were not done correctly. Sewer gas was coming up through the new shower drain (he didn’t bother to put in a P trap!!) and there was a leak at one of the joints that he had installed. And other incorrectly done things. I heard about Sunny and gave him a call. Sunny came in and checked everything. He pointed out what needed to be corrected and/or done further and why, and explained everything clearly. He then made the necessary repairs in one day. I’ve used Tidal Plumbing ever since then to service my boiler in the winter, and to make other plumbing repairs as needed. They are always on time, professional, and personable. And Sunny is just an all-around really good guy who excels at his work. It’s a real relief, as a homeowner, to have an excellent plumber, and know that you can depend on him to get the job done and get it done right. Most recently Sunny has expanded his business and has some other workers on his team. Matt came by this year to service the boiler and he was also very personable, communicative, and professional. If you want plumbing done correctly and by really good people, you can’t go wrong with Tidal Plumbing.

I called TIDAL Plumbing & Heating for a combo boiler/hot water heater repair. They answered the phone professionally, gave me a same day two hour window to examine the problem. They are respectful of time and communicate well with the customer. They arrived, examined the issue and provided prompt professional repairs and got my boiler up and running again, especially with no hot water and heating before weather temperatures are ready to drop. They are professional, respectful, work clean, are friendly and are very reliable. I am very grateful to have found such a reliable plumbing company which gives me peace of mind with this job and any future work that I may need. Dont look elsewhere. Sunny and his crew really great did a great job in breaking down the process and doing the work. Before I found Sunny and his company I was dealing with a shotty plumbing contractor that never kept me in the loop, poor workmanship, and later on, I come to find out that they were doing disreputable business dealings. Sunny and his company came through and fixed the mess and showed me that there is a plumbing company out there that offers a fair price that won’t break the bank that do outstanding work. My family and I wouldve been without heat and gas if it wasn’t for Sunny and his crew. Exceptional company, thank you so much!

I was in the process of buying a new home and the Inspection company found that the gas pipes were illegal. I called several plumbers almost all of them said they do not want to get involved with Con Edison or with city inspectors. Tidal Plumbing was the only one that had all the answers for my questions, they were very familiar with the entre process. Sunny’s office worked with Con Edison and the department of buildings directly. Other plumbers told me I would have to find my own expeditor to do all the paperwork, Tidal provides these services in house. It was a long and expensive process but all I did was write 2 checks and provide access, that is it. These guys truly are a great company. This is my first home and I have found my plumber. Tidal plumbing company helped us through a bind, we called another company to do the gas inspection and failed then the headache came. Gas was shut off, the other company did everything illegal doing the work before getting permits, took 3 weeks of back and forth blaming other people. We then called Tidal plumbing and total difference, night and day. They did the paperwork and within 3 days, then they were allowed to do the work. Within a week it was resolved. I would totally recommend them since they know what they are doing and legal too. They are priced fairly compared to what we were charged for the other company. I would not hesitate to call them again for anything related to gas

They are very professional and nice person. They helped me fix the leaking in my bathtub and fixed the gutters that were clogged up with hairs. They charged for very reasonable price. They also have license and insurance if your apartment requests these documents. I highly recommend them!
