When we had an issue they handled it with the utmost integrity in resolving the issue. Dan (Owner) came out to my home to do the initial assessment. He was very professional and honest. After a short discussion he left, and I had the quote sent to me that day. They were able to get into my home a short time later. The actual work was done by Jason who was more than professional and courteous. The work and explanation of the process was second to none. When they were finished, they cleaned up very good. We are also in need of a gas line moved for our new oven, and will be using Scheid to do that as well.

I had a copper water pipe in my bathroom that was leaking and called Scheid in the morning to see if they could look at it. They they sent a plumber in about a hour and had the old piece cut out and replaced while he was here. Thanks Ray you did an excellent job and thanks to the person I talked to on the phone very friendly staff. We had this company put in a furnace in our house a couple years ago and the same great service. Highly recommend them especially as they do it all Plumbing, Heating and Air at reasonable prices

I had an after-hours heat problem and called Scheid. These people could not have been nicer or more understanding, and a technician (Phil) was out within about 30 minutes, and he was fabulous as well. Turns out the pilot light needed to be lit, but Phil also checked the other components to make sure that was all that was needed and everything was in good shape. Even with the after-hours charge, the cost was perfectly reasonable. I am very impressed with this company and their service, and will definitely recommend them and use them again! 🥰

I have had the opportunity to work with the Scheid team for my home and business. For my home, they were at my place within 30 minutes to work on a leak on my water heater. They came in professional with everything they needed and were done with out me knowing it.I also worked with them on our new project and their wealth of advice on how to approach the project has been second to none.Great team and are willing to work with you on what best to do.

Great company, great people, fast service, reasonable, and reliable. Our furnace stopped working on the first big snow of 2023, and temps getting below freezing. Ben came out first thing the next morning. He didnt complain about our furnace being in a crawl space under our house like some other repair companies have done. He got right in there and figured out our problem. Gave us a quote before going to get the part we needed to fix it.He went and got the part, and came back a little while later, and fixed are furnace. What a huge relief to have heat again.Whenever we need any heating, cooling, or plumbing jobs done we will definitely call Scheid Plumbing and heating.I highly recommend them.

Great craftsmanship and very professional service. Installers were very nice and courteous. The office is always available for questions or scheduling. Their service tech Dan, did a great job in getting all hooked up and a very polite person.Very pleased with our new heat pump and furnace. My wife and I are glad that we hired Scheid Plumbing for our new furnace and heat pump.December 8, 2023 during the night our furnace quit working. I called Scheid around 5:50 am and around 7:50 am a technician showed up and another an hour or so later. They replaced a contactor and thermostat. All working great now. Most of the work they did was covered under their warranty.Very pleased with their service and response time. We are now warm again. They will get more of my business in the future if needed.

Had Cody and Josh complete a dangerous and difficult job safely. They both showed they know their job and put safety first. From day one this job was a nightmare between another contractor mistakes to all the utilities not being properly marked, to us having to stop job and change plans due to safety. They adapted to the circumstances and did a great job completing the job. If I have another bigger job I definitely will be requesting them. Great job

I cant say enough good things about Scheid Plumbing Heating & Cooling. When our A/C quit last night, I panicked because we have a baby in the house. The woman I spoke with on the phone was wonderful, and I had someone out to help me within a couple of hours. Dan was just fantastic. He walked me through everything, and answered all of my questions. He even provided me with tips I can do on my own to keep my A/C running smoothly. Without a doubt, the best service experience Ive ever had. I HIGHLY recommend them!

I had them out to repair an outdoor shower that leaked badly while in use. Joel showed up on time, found a pipe that had frozen and burst, had it replaced and buttoned back up in just over an hour. Very personable, professional, and competent. I will use Scheid from now on.

This was our first time using Scheid’s, and we won’t use anyone else going forward!Chris and Johnathan were on time, thorough, professional and explained everything in a way I’d understand. The cost to have them both out to inspect our HVAC system and fix a plumbing issue, was not above and beyond what I expected to pay, and maybe even a little less. If you’re on the fence about which company to choose for plumbing, or HVAC needs, don’t hesitate to reach out to them!

Recently had a new 40 gallon water heater installed and an old 30 gallon water heater removed. The technician Sully and his partner did a fantastic job and were very professional with their workmanship. The customer service and financing portion was tough to get through. Beware of the credit financing that is put in front of you if you apply. My application went through and got approved, but showed not approved on their end. Then I was told that they dont accept the financing that I was approved with, but they were going to accept it anyway in good faith? Umm whats that about? Then later called by their finance department and told it was approved and it just didnt come through that way to them after I submitted my application. Definitely could improve in that area of the business. Its not the customers fault you dont approve of the financing that you put in front of them and could cost your business money by approving it. In the end I got through it. The install service is quite expensive and overpriced in my opinion, but reliable if your in a pinch like me. Overall, I would give my recommendation for Scheid and will continue doing business with them.

I wanted to give a shout out to Jonathon, Issac, Connie and Kayle who worked together to schedule and replace my hot water heater for my renters as I am out of state. This company previously did work on my furnace in 2015. They were extremely patient and professional with all of my questions. They also worked in a very timely fashion during an extremely busy time for them. Excellent, professional service with a small town family friendliness. During the shut down the staff at Scheid’s also fed families in the community, absolutely amazing! My renters were one of the family’s blessed.

I cant tell you how much I appreciate the entire team at Sheids. Their professionalism and responsiveness is amazing. I have used them numerous times for my properties and they always show up on time and take care of the situation in a very professional manner. I even had an emergency after hours and I received a call back within minutes. They sent Rich out, and he knew exactly what to do to get our water back up and running within an hour. My furnace went out at the beginning of March. My furnace is about 40 years old, predates all the modern digital wizardry, has survived long beyond all OEM parts availability, and is simplicity personified. Ive long thought that it is on its last legs. But the tech fixed it with generic after market parts and a new thermostat. There was never an attempt to push me towards a new furnace. My furnace now runs quieter and with seemingly greater efficiency. Scheid has always treated me well and I will call on them when my HVAC troubles arise.

Our water heater went out Christmas Eve morning. After a few other contractors couldn’t get out to us, a good friend of mine recommended Scheid. I called them and they were over in less than and hour and had it replaced a short time later.Dennis was great. He was polite, thorough, helpful and a credit to his profession. Cody has been out to the house twice now, and for rather niche concerns. First visit was in the fall to check the water pressure, and a hose faucet. He fixed the faucet for the hose and toggled the water pressure as much as he could, and it was enough to make a difference where it mattered. The second visit was to look for a leak around our jacuzzi. Thankfully it wasnt the plumbing, we did find the leak, and catastrophe was averted. Have enjoyed having Scheid come over and help me stay on top of things around the house. Highly recommend.

Great customer service, and thank you for saving the day! I was on an all day river fishing float, on the Muskegon River, and my wife calls me stating we have no hot water. I was able to get ahold of Scheid Plumbing Heating & Cooling on the first call. Luckily they had a crew already near my home, so I elected to use their expedited/after hours service. The hot water tank was fixed two hours after my call. Happy wife, happy life, and I got to enjoy the rest of my day catching smallmouth bass and brown trout.

I am now a customer for life. On Saturday evening August 10, 2019, I was 330 miles away (in Illinois) and my daughter called from our lake house near Mears, Michigan telling me she found a leaking pipe that was ruining my kitchen floor. I got no answer from my usual plumbing company in Hart, but Scheid immediately answered the phone with a live voice, sent a plumber out (29 miles) and they were fixing the leak within 90 minutes on a Saturday night. The charge was paid with a credit card and it was reasonable. Minutes later a copy of the paid invoice was emailed to me. Service like this is hard to find. So now they will also get my future, daytime, Monday through Friday work. Thank you!

I have been a customer for 3 years.. Scheid does all my plumbing, heating & cooling fixes. Never once have I been disappointed. From calling to get an appt to their technicians - all are professional, friendly, & very helpful. Cost is always reasonable. A few months ago I made an appt to have my heater serviced. They told me that DTE had a $75 rebate for customers getting the heater serviced - I didnt know this. So they saved me $75. I really appreciated that. Another time I had a Saturday plumbing emergency - they arrived a few hours later & fixed the problem. I highly recommend Scheids for all your plumbing, heating & cooling peace of mind.
