My husband and I were having major plumbing issues with our tub- and Peter saved the day! He helped us assess the issue, fixed the plumbing, and installed a new tub and surround. Him and Steve worked super quick and did an outstanding job. I highly recommend to anyone and everyone. Peter is very responsive, and it was very easy to get things scheduled with him. He also walked me through the work he did, and explained the new tub system- which was very helpful! Very trustworthy, and great work!

So happy that Steve’s Plumbing is now making house calls! Our ejector pump had failed and we had water in our basement. Peter was able to come the day I called and replace it. He kindly texted me to let me know he was running later than expected and was very thorough in explaining everything he was going to do and how to prevent it from happening again. He did a great job and left the area neat and tidy. I will definitely call Peter again when we have a plumbing issue.

Peter came to fix a leaky pipe. He was very personable and professional. He answered all my questions (even the dumb questions). Just an enjoyable guy to talk to. He did a great job. It took less time than I expected, and cost less than I expected. I finally found my go to Plumber.

I just had a beautiful new sump pump and battery backup installed by Peter. He was a true professional...honest, clear communication, fair prices....timely, communicative. I could not have asked for anything better. Highly recommend!!!!!! Id give 10 stars if I could!!!

Peter Matos from Steve’s Plumbing installed a hot water heater for me. He was personable and professional; responded to my inquiry in a timely manner; offered a good solution to my dilemma; ordered and installed the hot water heater within a day; protected my floors; and cleaned up. All for a fair price. I recommend him.

Talked with Peter about a potential broken water line. He came to the site promptly, assessed, and fixed the problem in a reasonable amount of time. Very clear communication, responsive, and easy to approach. I like that he talks with his customers and educate them about the situation. Did a great job fixing the water line at a fair price, and helped relieve my anxiety of the whole situation. Would definitely recommend him for any plumbing service.

Peter was great. He took the time to listen to my concerns & offered a solution at a reasonable price. He called when he was on the way & took great care to protect my floors while he worked. The problem has been solved without any further issues. I will definitely use them again.

Had been thinking about having a repipe of any remaining galvanized water inlet pipes and all cast iron outgoing waste pipes in our basement for a few years on a 1956 house. Sought and received 5 estimates, knowing that this is the type of job that many plumbers will quote high because of the nature of the job (dirtier than other plumbing in-house jobs like water heaters, faucets, appliances, etc.). Peter with Steves Plumbing came out to see what we needed done, and provided an estimate by email the next day. Of the 5 estimates theirs was not only the lowest quote but it was also in line with what we were expecting it to cost and what we were willing to pay to move ahead with the work. We could also tell just from the interaction with Peter that the company seemed to be a company of integrity.This was a large job that took 9.5 hours, but Peter got it done in one day with 2-3 hours of assistance from a second person during the removal process due to heavy weight cast iron pipes. We would recommend Steves Plumbing in Wheaton, IL for plumbing needs.

Peter provided exceptional service. He arrived promptly at the scheduled time and thoroughly diagnosed the source of our leak, explaining the issue to us clearly and understandably. Peter presented a detailed and fairly-priced estimate, then swiftly and expertly repaired the leak with excellent workmanship. He is reliable and trustworthy - unlike some other plumbers. He clearly takes pride in doing thoughtful, high-quality work. I recommend Peter for any job, big or small. We will certainly be using Peter for any of our future plumbing needs.

Steves Pluming is awesome. Every time I have an issue they are diligent in solving the problem, are always friendly (I have worked with multiple people too), explain what is needed to be done, and are more than reasonable with pricing. Would highly recommend these guys 10/10

Peter Matos helped me fix a huge leak in my foundation. He let me hover over him and ask a million questions. I learned a ton just watching him work. Great guy, very smart, very fast. Ive never been so happy to pay a plumber! Would recommend to anyone with plumbing problems.
