    Gabe was very efficient in sending a response for my request to install a security camera/floodlight outside my house, and his price estimate was very reasonable. Gilbert came out to complete the job and was extremely professional and knowledgeable about the task at hand.     CLC is easy to work with. They are prompt and knowledgeable. We had some old outdoor lighting that was not working. It took a bit to find the wiring but Gabe and Gilbert figured out the issue was underground which would have been an expensive fix. Gabe helped me pick out solar lights which were a much easier and less expensive fix and Gilbert installed them at a reasonable price.

    I needed a Tesla wall connector, a second 240 volt line for an additional electric car, and electric dryer outlet installed in my home. I contact several electricians regarding the project, however only CLC electric seemed responsive to my questions. The company was able to give me a quote over the phone for the work I was expecting. Once the time came to perform the work, the job was completed in the time frame given to me over the phone. In addition, the company charged me exactly what they quoted me for the project. I was beyond happy with the service and professionalism of this company. If I could give me than 5 stars I would do so. I thought the price given to me for the job was a fair price and the work completed was stellar!

    Unlike the 5 other companies I called before CLC, they actually answered the phone. I needed a 240 outlet installed for my new EV and Gabe explained every step, gave me an estimate, timeline and had availability in under a week. Gilbert, the electrician for the install, arrived on time, was professional, courteous and did an excellent job. He made sure everything was functional and explained everything I needed to know about the set up. He even fixed a missing screw on my loose railing I didn’t even know was missing. ☺️ The job was done ahead of schedule and the price was right in line with the estimate. This is my new default electrician. Go with these guys! I should mention, I don’t write reviews often, but when you find a good electrician, plumber, handyman etc. you want to give them props.     We were put in contact with Gabe through CLC by a contact with our Realtor and we couldnt be more satisfied. They were always timely, professional, and respectful of our home (it was snowy and they took care to avoid damage coming in and out). We purchased an older home and needed several repairs. They helped identify issues we hadnt even considered such as the 60 year old breaker panel or the exterior main power cable which was uninsulated (even our inspector missed it). We are feeling much more confident plugging in our devices than we did before. Finally, they were very adept at working with our other contractors.All in all, a very good investment and well worth it. Gilbert was very attentive to our questions and taught us a great deal.     I found CLC Total Electric in Wheaton on Thumbtack and I was impressed with their reviews. Gabe followed up quickly and gave me a fair estimate. He and Lorin (great, smart guy) showed up the next day to remove track lighting and install 8 new can recessed lights. The job was done professionally and quickly. Very easy to work with, I was very pleased with the new look. They even contacted a painter, Lawrence Iancc from Downers Grove to paint the very next day and he did a great job. Will not hesitate to hire these people again. Will be my first choice for any future electrical or painting work. Will recommend them to my townhouse community.

    I tried for more than a year to get someone to install flood lights in my back yard and several local electricians never called me back or plain just didnt show up when they said they would. Gabriel and his colleague came out, gave me an estimate, and then over delivered. They were punctual, friendly and respectful. I liked them so much that we had them install some new outlets in our basement. The work was done well, and they even made sure we had extra breakers available in case we needed them in the future. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Im very appreciative of their level of service when most contractors couldnt even return a call.

    Great experience. We encountered an odd issue with a circuit in our home. We first had ABC electric come out and they proposed inspecting the wiring in the entire circuit and wanted to charge $1,200. Gabriel came in and didnt need to inspect the wiring through the entire circuit. He quickly identified the source of the problem and fixed it in less than an hour. He charged an eighth of the price because the work proposed by ABC was not necessary. He also was willing to describe the issue going on so I learned something in the process. I highly recommend CLC Total Electric Service Inc.

    CLC Total Electric did a great job. The project involved running electric and installing an outdoor ceiling fan for our covered patio. Gabe contacted me right away and we set it up for a few days later. The electrician, Lorin, arrived on time and got right to it. After everything was installed, he found that the remote we had was not working. Lorin went with my husband to purchase another and had it replaced and functioning as quickly as possible. Gabe had quoted me an estimate based on pictures I sent him and when all was said and done, that was what he charged me despite the extra work caused by our faulty remote. I would recommend CLC Total Electric for any electrical work you have.

    I needed help replacing the old bathroom fan in an old apartment. Due to its age, there was no easy replacement model so extra work was needed to re-route the wiring, cut the drywall and mount the new fan at the correct position. Gabe did everything with great positive attitude and extreme professionalism! He went the extra mile to cut, trim and reattach a drywall piece carefully so it would fit the opening left on the ceiling.     The electrician, Gilbert, was very professional and helped us troubleshoot a difficult problem, installed a light after routing from the attic. His work was professional, completed without the necessity of follow up drywall and painting to minimize expenses. He was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

    Came in immediately for quote 2 weeks ago, good price, good ratings. Was able to come in within a week, do a full panel upgrade from pushmatic to circuit breaker, giving me more room in the panel. Completed the job on time and within estimate even with a loop through into the mix..I am recommending him to others.

    Gabe did an amazing job switching our gas stove over to an electric one by adding the electric power outlet. He also switched out our circuit breaker. I called Gabe Monday morning and he came out to give us an estimate that day. I explained that I needed it done that same day due to me being off work and he went out and bought the parts as well as someone to help. The fact that it was done the same day helped me out so much! His rates were absolutely great along with his professionalism. He worked quickly and I would recommend his services to anyone.

    Found CLC Total Electric on google. After reading all the reviews I decided to call for an estimate appointment. Just like the reviews said, quick to pickup & schedule, professional & polite. Gabe answered and Loryn came to do the job. Gabe assured me the job was easy and do-able, so we wont give you estimate, well just get it done.They have competitive & reasonable pricing. Loryn was quick & thorough. Total bill was far less than any other quotes I go in the last several years. Highly recommended!
