    Frank and his team were awesome. I got the quote quickly and the work scheduled in a timely manner. The workmanship was professional and fast. The guys had to run a new line from one side of my house to the other. They used drop cloths and cleaned up after themselves. Frank is super knowledgeable and answered all my questions about the EV car charger rebate. Can’t say enough good things about them!

    Frank was incredible to work with! My family and I came home from dinner one evening to find our house only with partial power. Thinking it was an issue on our end, I called Frank at Adrian Electric. Between the hours of 8:30 PM and 11:00 PM he worked, on our behalf, directly with ComEd to send a technician out and resolve the problem. Intelligent, reliable, kind and selfless are the words that come to mind with Franks work. I would highly recommend Adrian Electric.

    I contacted a few different electricians to help with installing an EV charger at my home, but I knew instantly that Frank from Adrian Electric was the right person for the job. He was extremely knowledgeable about what services I would need, the best place to install the charger, and how to integret the new service with my current breaker. Rather than upcharge me unnecessarily or try and talk me into getting services that I didnt actually need, he immediately helped me understand the best route that was also budget friendly. He was kind and professional and sometimes that can be difficult to find, especially for a woman trying to hire someone to do a job at the house. I was working with a tight timeframe because of the delivery of the charger and the estimated arrival of my electric car, but he went out of his way to ensure my charger was installed prior to receiving my new car. Despite his busy schedule, he was able to send his crew out quickly and I couldnt be happier with the job they did. They encountered a few issues during the install due to the state of my breaker but the price never deviated from the original flat rate cost that he initially gave me. The crew accommodated my busy schedule with picking up kids from different schools at different times, and they were kind and professional throughout the work. After the install was completed, they went out of their way to calibrate the charger and teach me how to use it before cleaning up and wishing me a great day. I cant rave enough about the amazing job Frank and his crew from Adrian Electric did at my home, and I simply wont ever use a different electrician ever again! They have found a customer for life with me!

    We contracted Adrian Electric when we purchased our Tesla Model Y. I recommend them highly. The owner Frank Adrian contacted us very quickly when we made an inquiry and gave us a detailed quote. We had our house panel upgraded from 100 to 200 A and a Tesla charger put in the garage. A month or so later we had his network person redo our house ethernet. All in all we had at least 3 of Franks electricians and the work was neat and first rate. Everything works flawlessly. The photos show the before and after for our electric panel upgrade.

    I’m so happy with the service from this company! Frank from Adrian Electric was very easy to talk to on the phone as I shared the electrical issues we were having. He really took the time to listen and was incredibly thoughtful. After arranging for a technician to come first thing in the morning, he called me back and said he would send someone in 30 minutes to fix my issue so I wouldn’t have to go without internet or downstairs lights for a night. And not only that but he gave me a great caprice despite it being after hours and when John arrived, he fixed everything quickly and professionally. He even tightened wires that were not part of the issue but that might have caused something bad in the future.     Excellent experience! Frank and his team were fantastic to work with. I recently purchased my home and wanted to upgrade my panel. Frank came over, took his time explaining my options, and was very patient answering all of our questions.When working with Frank- his experience and knowledge sets him apart.     We were thoroughly impressed with Frank Adrian and his employee who came to our home and helped with a bit of electrical work, including replacing our entire electrical panel.     I’m a first time poster, but felt compelled given the service I got from Frank and his team! They did a great job of installing an EV charger in my garage. The project was complicated and other installers were asking for much higher prices. He took the time to first come in and assess the potential project (some others just gave range of fees based on some questions without even coming to check!), and then was transparent in that he would conditionally start if he could find a clean way. Clearly his team did find a clean way and when it was all done- it is working well. I would recommend using him and his team, as in my opinion they care about doing the right thing.

    Half of the breakers in our electrical panel (including the one the thermostat is on) stopped working Saturday night. By the following morning, the temperature in the house had dropped to 52.I called Adrian Electric because they had good reviews and took urgent jobs over the weekend. Frank got me in touch with John, who was on call. John diagnosed the issue as being the responsibility of ComEd. Before he left, he got our heat working again so we would be okay until ComEd came out. Frank called them for us, and sometime was out in a couple of hours to fix the outside connection.Ill definitely be calling Adrian Electric for any needs, urgent or non-urgent, we have arise.

    Frank and his team expertly installed a Tesla wall charger and the necessary electrical wiring & breaker. I was impressed they knew ahead of time that where I wanted the charger placed wouldnt work because the Tesla charge cord wouldnt be long enough to reach the back of the car. They found the best spot in our garage for convenient charging, ran the conduit to that point unobtrusively, and it works perfectly.     Frank and his team were amazing! My 85 year old mom was having electrical issues after a power outage in her town. When the town restored her power, only 1/2 of the power returned to her home. When we called Frank at 6:15 am, he picked up immediately and went into action. He arrived at the house at 11:00, ran some diagnostics and realized he would need to trace lines inside the house to find the problem. He had another appointment, so he called on 2 of his electricians to come to the house to complete the job. Within 1- 1/2 hours, the problem was identified, fixed, and power was restored. Frank and his team were knowledgeable, very professional, and compassionate, wanting to correct the problem the same day for my Mom. And finally, the invoice that was delivered was very reasonable for the work that was completed. Id recommend Adrian Electric to anyone who is having electrical issues.

    I usually dont write reviews, but felt compelled to login and talk about our experience with Frank and his team. I was in a bind, with a pending trip coming up, and our hot tub wiring (work done with a previous electrician in-town) smelled like burning plastic, power to the hot tub was lost and it was also 9pm on a cold, snowy, Friday night. I reached out to Frank first with a phone call and then via text and over the next several days, he stopped by the house on a couple of occasions to assess the situation, put together a plan and ended up completely redoing the work that another electrician in-town cut many corners on and that could have ultimately lead to a house fire (and a ruined hot tub). He was knowledgeable, courteous, and great communicating between my wife at home and myself out of town. Our hot tub is now working again and I feel confident in Franks work that we wont have this issue happen again.

    Frank and his crew at Adrian Electric were fantastic. I cant praise them enough for the experience we had changing out our outdoor ComEd meter pedestal and upgrading our service amps to the house. They coordinated with ComEd for us and scheduled the outage in the morning and the turn up after repair in the early afternoon.Frank is a very personable and caring guy and had great communication throughout the estimate , coordination, and implementation process. We did get competitive quotes and Frank was very fair priced. He made sure the job was finished and we were satisfied customers.We will definitely be recommending Frank and Adrian Electric to our friends and will use him and his company again in the future.

    Frank came out to do an inspection of a generator transfer switch we had installed by another contractor. We had problems with the other contractor who installed the generator transfer switch, and another company we use for non-generator electric work (Kinetic Energy... they are great, but dont do generators!) referred us to Frank. Frank checked the work, which fortunately was solid, and helped me understand how to use the transfer switch. Frank was outstanding. He really knew his stuff and I wish we had gone with him in the first place (we went with the unnamed other contractor because they were in our town). He spent a good 45 minutes with me and never charged me! I strongly recommend him.

    Friday night, I attempted to install a light switch on my own, which caused a short circuit, causing my circuit breaker to not turn back on (which meant my furnace would not be on). So happens and just my luck, it was supposed to be the coldest weekend in March in Chicago! I was forced to call a professional. Not knowing who to call, I started google searching and made several calls first thing Saturday morning (7:00 am). The first several were not open. The next guy I called said he didn’t work on the weekends and would charge me $140 just to come out and look at the problem on Monday! I called Adrian Electric, as I was leaving a message, I received a text message from Frank stating he was on the other line and would call me back shortly. He did! He was very friendly and explained that it was probably a quick easy fix but unfortunately he was headed to another job further south and would not be back up til late evening. He suggested another electrician that lived in my neighborhood and set him up with me. Greg came out and fixed my problem, as Frank stated, quickly and for a very reasonable price! Thank God the heat was back on by 12 noon!! I was so very great full to Frank of Adrian Electric. It is hard to find people to who you can trust and not to take advantage of you. Frank did not have to refer me to another individual, giving business away to another company, but he did. That tells me he is somebody that I would like to work with in the future.     Frank and the guys at Adrian Electric were fantastic! We were having issues with the main breaker on our panel. I was looking for a local company to work with and called Adrian Electric. Frank took the time to talk me through the options and explain the benefits of each. Other companies I talked to couldnt come out for over a week but understanding our situation and potential safety issues Frank made accommodations to come out the next day. We ultimately decided to upgrade to a new panel combining the original 50+ year old panel with the newer sub panel and bringing all of the wiring coming from the meter up to code. I was looking to get a floor lamp fixed and although Adrian Electric did not do this type of work, Frank referred me to a place in Broadview. Can’t really say enough they came out on a Saturday night at 9 o’clock at night do not charge overtime three-man and fix our overhead service to get us power before midnight.     Afters the huge storm this month when Com ed turned the power back on it fried the wire to the house so they had to cut our power for safety. I called a bunch of electricians Frank was the only one that returned my call. He called back in less than 10 minutes he had me take pics of the wire so he knew exactly what they were walking into and gave me a rough estimate which I thought was very fair. Just talking to him made me feel like everything was going to be fine after the terrible week we had. He was so nice and knowledgeable and I know it was a crazy day for them but he said someone would be out between 12 and 1. The guy who came was also named Frank, he was on time, very polite and had my power restored in about 45 minutes. We will definitely be calling them with any more of our electrical needs.     Frank did a excellent job repairing an outside outlet(front porch) at my 92 year old Mothers home in Wheaton. I live out of town and found Adrian Electric through an internet search.     Adrian Electric did a wonderful job replacing a messy set of electric panels in my basement. My house was on the market and a buyer backed out of the contract because the main panel had a history of starting house fires. Two of the electricians I contacted didnt bother to return my calls and a third didn’t show up. Frank called me back, came out quickly and quoted the lowest price. In less than a day, he upgraded the system, consolidated a kludgy set of 3 panels into one, tested everything out, and cleaned up the debris. It looks 100% better, takes up less space, and is no longer a safety hazard. Frank cares about the quality of his work and offers very competitive prices – an unbeatable combination!

    This review is far overdue. I was having issues with the main breaker shutting off randomly. Frank came out, assessed the situation, explained in detail why it was happening and looked to set up an appointment to correct the issue.     After the most recent storms we had our power lines knocked down and Frank and his team were out there the same evening starting the work to get us back up. They are very honest and I will also add kind. Frank came to my home and I was really taken back at how sincere and nice he was. This was a bad thing that happened to us and Frank really made us feel better about the whole process. Thank you again you guys are really the best.

    We were very happy with the service provided by Adrian Electric and plan to use them again. While doing some prep work for painting, we lost power to our thermostat and heat to the house. We called Adrian Electric and Frank, the owner, quickly sent someone over to help us address the issue and restore heat. John checked out the wiring and was able to isolate the issue to an error code on the furnace that needed attention. They referred us to Borter Heating & AC, who quickly came out and found a blown fuse. Frank later called to make sure we got the help we needed and the issue was resolved.

    I recently had Adrian Electric install an EV Charger in my home and I am impressed with their work. They had to run 60amp power from the main electric panel at one end of the house to the garage at the other end of the house and through a finished basement drywall/ceiling. Despite these obstacles, Frank and his team were able to keep the number of drywall cuts to a minimum, resulting in a clean finish. In addition to their good work, Frank completed the project within the estimated timeline and at a cost that was more favorable compared to quotes I received from other electrical contractors. The team was professional and knowledgeable.

    We couldnt be happier we chose Adrian Electric for our downtown Chicago condo project!We called Frank to upgrade our panel and install an outlet in a tricky location, our hall closet. Frank was very professional and helpful from our first conversation. He asked to see a few pictures of the project we were describing and then to get a better understanding he came to our downtown condo to gives a detailed description of the work and a quote on the service.For reference, we live in a downtown Chicago high-rise with concrete ceilings and several building regulations on what construction can be done. Frank was very helpful in adhering to our building requirements and designing a plan to give us exactly what we wanted without any destruction to our walls, etc. He and his team prepped the work area to make sure our home was protected from the project and they explained exactly what they were doing to make sure we were completely comfortable with the project.     Update: After Frank was so helpful on my first incident, I ended up rehiring him for some updates on another project. He and his team were very careful, trusting, and reliable. Also, they both made sure that I was happy with the end product and made sure I had everything I wanted. There were a couple last minute changes and they were happy to adjust the plan with no issues. Not to mention Frank is very well priced compared to the others I looked into. He’s definitely someone you can count on and trust to have good workers to get the job done.     I highly recommend Adrian Electric. Frank came out in response to my call. I was selling my house and needed an electrician to identify a particular cable/wire that the buyers inspector questioned. Frank came out promptly so as not to slow the moving process, made an identification and wrote up an explanation, as well as the fact that no electrical repairs were warranted. He came amidst a huge snow storm, explained things to me and charged me an appropriate, but reasonable, fee. Ill be using Adrian Electric in my new home.
