    These guys were great! Had to dig a hole deeper than they were tall, and under my driveway to preserve the concrete and all while it poured down rain to fix my sewer pipe. Really nice guys, answered my questions and explained everything with a smile. I recommend them highly.The guys came back to fill the hole with topsoil and even seeded and covered with hay. Excellent job, quickly and expertly done. Very pleased and satisfied with their work ethic, friendly and professional demeanor. They will be my go-to company from now on.

    Our drains backed up an hour before we were leaving for church for the Christmas service on December 22.My husband stayed home to wait for the plumber to arrive. He came quickly and took care of everything. He was kind and had a great attitude even though it was a Sunday evening.We had called another plumbing company and they said they couldnā€™t come until the day after Christmas!They were aware that we couldnā€™t flush toilets, take showers or wash dishes!!I highly recommendā€œGREATerā€ Pittsburgh Plumbing!

    These guys were great! We had a blockage that had our sewer backed up. Our home warranty sent out a company weve had problems with in the past. They came out, said they didnt have the equipment with them that day to fix it and would call us on Monday to re-schedule. We waited until Wednesday and never heard from them. Friends of ours recommended Greater Pittsburgh Plumbing. On Wednesday they gave us a Friday appointment. By Wednesday night our basement drain was overflowing so bad, we couldnt flush toilets anymore. I called after hours and Greater Pittsburgh bumped our Friday appointment up and fit us in on Thursday. Gage and Alex worked hard to clear our sewer pipes. They came in and really saved us this week after being ghosted by the company our warranty sent out. Well be using Greater Pittsburgh Plumbing from now!

    Extremely happy with the work completed at my house. I have been having pinhole leaks in my copper pipes for a few years now thanks to West View Water. Greater Pittsburgh Plumbing has done all of my pipe replacements until i could not take it anymore. They just completed a complete replacement of all of my pipes in my home. They were efficient, clean, and only cut into the places where they really felt they needed to, leaving my home better than i thought it was going to be. I would call them anytime I have a plumbing issue. They are prompt, clear in communication, and do great work!

    They came out to do an excavation of house trap/liner system for me, and they did a GREAT job. I was definitely annoying and called a bunch during this process (first time homeowner things), and they always answered the phone and were really kind and efficient. These guys worked super hard in very cold weather to ensure my sewer pipe was lined and in working condition.I had them recommended to me by my home inspector Michael Ashburn and I couldnt be more appreciative. Really felt supported through the whole process, and they also stuck the estimate I was given.Thank you all again. 5/5 stars!

    Our AC went out over a holiday weekend and Greater Pittsburgh Plumbing Heating and Cooling sent someone out within an hour. Dave was able to diagnose the problem quickly and he had the part that we needed in his truck! The price, even for a Sunday evening on a holiday weekend, seemed pretty fair compared to similar work weā€™ve had done. Weā€™ll definitely call them again for any plumbing or heating/cooling issues in the future!

    Greater Pittsburgh Plumbing has been our go-to plumber for years! Theyā€™ve installed a water heater, replaced our water lines, and have performed tuneups on our furnace and tankless water heater. They always do an impeccable job and have great customer service. Itā€™s honestly my favorite company to work with! Most recently, Dave and Ky came today for a furnace tuneup and water heater flushing. They were fantastic and gave thorough answers to our questions!

    This company does fantastic work. GPP just completed some major work at our home.. installing a new internal sewer line and also a rainwater drainage system. Both jobs they completed quickly and did a great job. I also want to comment on the professionalism of the staff. During a couple of the days that they were at the home doing work, we were also in process of moving into the home. They were really great with being flexible so that everyone was able to get to where they needed to and complete the work they wanted. The only reason I am giving a 4 out of 5 stars is due to scheduling. There were some miscommunications on both jobs around start/end days/times for the work. The quality of work done by the guys on the job was fantastic. Highly recommend!

    Iā€™ve never needed to call a plumbing company to the house before so I had no idea who to call. I contacted Pgh Plumbing and Alex came out to the house on the first day. He was honest and upfront. My sewage leak turned has been more than a problem than initially anticipated. Every guy, ( Alex, Zack, Tyler and I wish I could rember the 4th guys name) that has been on site from Pgh Plumbing has been awesome! I canā€™t say anything negative about none of them.     :Update:Went with Greater Pittsburgh Plumbing to work on the job we found during inspection. Was a bit of a rough go as the initial inspector made an oversight that definitely increased the difficulty of the job. Its unfortunate, but mistakes are gonna happen. Whats important is they made it right. Inspector came back out, got the full scope and then made sure the other teams doing the lining work had what they needed. I wouldnt be surprised if the job ended up costing twice as much to them, but they kept the price the same for the initial quote. The teams also had to dig up a patio area under our deck and did a great job of putting it back together. While not without its frustrations the job got done and the team did good work from what I can tell and they owned what happened in an age I just expect anybody to pass the buck, so it was really nice to see that.Had a home inspection for reviewing the sewage lines for a home purchase.The plumber who arrived did a great job, talked us through everything that as happening, and when it was pretty difficult to get the camera through the sewer line kept trying and went through multiple solutions to ensure we got the information we needed so that we could go back for a sellers credit on the home purchase.Very happy with the inspection service!

    Zyan from GPP was awesome - he came to unclog a shower drain, noticed that our water pressure was low, and took it upon himself to check the entire house. Upon finding that the valve from the street was partially closed, did a quick turn which gave us great water pressure.     Awesome service. Had a huge job to do and Jose did it all quickly and efficiently. Went above and beyond, cleaning out the area where the equipment was replaced and removing badly thought - out pipes and fixing the whole layout for better future servicing of the system.     We used GPP to install a new hot water heater, then had them give us a second opinion on our sewer lateral work before selling, and they managed to complete the work in a pinch so we could make our closing date. The technician that reviewed the sewer lateral videos with me had actually done our sewer inspection when we bought two years prior, which shows me that these folks care about their work.If you are within GPPā€™s service radius, thereā€™s no need to go through another plumbing company, these folks are professional and fair.

    Update: The plumber (Chris) gave me a call and he is the only reason Im updating this review. Great guy, knowledgeable and explained everything he saw on site. They need to improve their front office but Chris was very helpful.10/15 Review - Its unfortunate that I have to write this review. I hired them for a camera sewer inspection on a home. They are unable to perform the inspection because they lack the access. So they recommend installing a clean out. Ok, fine. They install the clean out and then still cant access the entire sewer line. $400 dollars later and I have zero information about the condition of the line (b/c they wont let me speak to the plumber).But thats not why Im writing the review. Despite providing zero value, I have asked at least 5 times to speak with the plumber that did the inspection so I can gather more context (I was not on site). They wont let me. You have your note on file. Hes busy. He will call you back. Never does, more excuses. They love to send new estimates, collect checks and provide zero value.Go with someone else. Period.

    I booked for sewer camera test while getting the house I am buying inspected. The worker who came out arrived early and definitely exceeded expectations. Apparently the plumbing was different and so he could enter the sewer line through the standard way. After searching the property multiple times he went over some option, like moving the toilet that would give a less than idea exam before trying a drain. This worked and he was able to do the complete exam! Im sure most plumbers would have walked away and said the test couldnt be done, he was determined to find a solution. He discussed all the options for a problem he found and went into great detail about the solutions. I would definitely recommend this business to anyone looking for a plumber.

    We had looked for a plumber for a long time. Some groups saw the work we wanted done and never got back to us. Greater Pittsburgh Plumbing reviewed the scope of the work, ordered the parts, dedicated 3 workers, and got the job done on one of the hottest days of the summer. Gauge, Danny, and John shared the labor and did great work. They replaced two yard pumps sent in concrete, changed out two hose bibs, and placed another valve in our system so we could shut down service to an out building. It was a big job. They kept me updated on their progress and were nice, professional people doing a hard job with grace.

    Had a massive job. Lined a sewer pipe - 12 feet. They were prompt,clean,explained each step and relaid the cement BEAUTIFULLY. I can barely tell which cement was replaced! The communication from the office staff is excellent and super friendly. While on-site, they rehabbed 2, 1951 toilets. One is pink and the other blue, irreplaceable.     My realtor suggested this plumber to me when I was having a drain clog issue. Before contacting my realtor, and Greater Pittsburgh Plumbing, I had contacted my home warranty company. The plumber the sent was unable to snake the drain and then quoted me appx $2500 to dig up the floor. I called here, they were out the next day and were able to unclog the sink with no problems. A second visit was required because our garbage disposal isnt as industrial as our previous homes and it clogged the sink again.     These guys are reliable, quick, and most importantly HONEST. We are in the process of selling our house. The buyers had Mr. Sewer inspect the sewer lines. they couldnā€™t get through the lines due to tree roots. They had to do a flush and wanted to charge $1000 to clear the lines and do the scope again. Not only did they get us on their calendar quickly, they were also able to easily diagnose the issue once they got here (other plumbers who had come to our house were unable to figure it out). One of the owners, Stan, promptly made sure we had a team of guys here everyday to get it fixed and it was a big project - excavating, jack hammering, pipe replacement and lining; you name it, they did it. I understand why, but I feel that it should be put toward the cost of service if you choose to use them after the plumber gives you your estimate.     I first used GPP for my recent home inspection. I was impressed with their flexibility, pricing, and professionalism. I even convinced the sellers to use them to repair some damaged pipes and then I brought them back again to install a new water heater. Highly recommend this group.

    They fixed my collapsed sewer and had good attitudes. Much more responsive than other companies I reached out to, however they still did not communicate with me when delays came up. Twice they didnā€™t work on days I expected them, which was only a problem because they didnā€™t call before. However I am happy with the work and donā€™t regret going with GPP.

    Greater Pittsburgh plumbing is awesome! We had a leak in our ceiling and Cody and James were able to figure out the problem and fix it. They realized that it was significant and instead of having to come back and do the repairs the following day, they went to get the supplies and worked well into the evening! They werenā€™t able to complete the job because we sent them home, however came back the next day to make the final repairs. I would highly recommend this company. They are courteous, kind, and efficient. We have known Ky, the owner, for over 15 years. He is the best plumber and a very kind man!!!

    I used Greater Pittsburgh Plumbing when moving out of an old house. They were great to work with. I felt that they were honest with their pricing and did a very good job with the work.They did work on my sewer line and left everything in great condition when done. I would recommend them and will use them in the future.

    This company is reliable and honest. The owner Stan is a great guy who went above and beyond to make sure I received great service. He is a straight shooter and knows his stuff.     Stan & Co. helped me with a sewer inspection. It was a little complicated with two buildings and a very old system. Stan is an expert in old buildings and the Lawrenceville sewer systems. He figured his way through it all and was able to give us the reassurance and feedback we needed to move forward. Super professional, highly knowledgeable and willing to share what he knows.     We had a great experience with these guys. We had our sewer lined, and the guys were extremely professional and thorough. They completed the job in less time than we ever imagined and provided us with lots of videos of their work. They arrived on time each day and kept me informed during the process. When everything was done, they cleaned up so well that it looked like nothing happened. As a matter of fact, it even better because they moved and old dryer into our garage that we werent using. They didnt have to do that, and it had nothing to do with the work they had done. They did it just to be nice and helpful because they knew I needed it out of there and couldnt do it myself. John Clagett, Josh Skurka, and everyone involved including Kaylyn (sp?) on the phone were awesome. They made it easy and I even enjoyed their company.Additionally, we had a separate issue in our kitchen that Cody helped us with, and he was equally amazing. He helped me get things functioning and helped me document everything for my insurance. I found him to be very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. He made a terrible situation go as well as it could. Greater Pittsburgh Plumbing has earned a lifelong customer. I appreciate you all so much.

    My husband tried to snake the sewer got it stuck in the drain so ewe called Pittsburgh Plumbing Company they were here within 2 hours and the plumber fixed the problem. I would recommend this company to anyone.

    Stan and Isaiah were here within their one hour window - which is great, since most companies give a 4-5 hour window. They were super helpful and made sure they got me the camera scope I needed even though it was a difficult job. Great guys - honest, and the best price Ive found!
